Hello all Storm here with a new story! Yes another new story, and one that's different than the rest I've done, as here we'll be using the Manga PILOT Naruto, where he's an actual demon, specifically a Hanyō and Kurama's son, and based in a more modern setting than the Elemental Nations. It'll also be x-overed with a hentai anime/manga called "Twin Angels". So, without further ado.
I own nothing
Long ago, there was once a powerful demon fox possessing nine tails, Kurama, the wicked and feared Kyūbi no Yōko. The son of the infamous Tamamo no Mae, one of the Three Terrible Yōkai of Japan, and known to all for being just as cruel and twisted as his mother had been.
Kurama had unleashed destruction and pain across the land, relishing in the despair he inflicted and enjoying the tributes offered by those who would do anything to escape his wrath. Until one day, he had taken on a human form to seduce a Kunoichi of Mt. Oinari to sire an heir. After his success, Kurama reigned terror down on the village residing on the mountain.
With just one of his tails he brought down mountains and unleashed tidal waves, creating hurricanes of pure destruction from the force of all nine of his tails. None dared to challenge the wicked Kyūbi, knowing all who tried battling him in the past suffered unending agony.
That is until nine powerful warriors banded together to battle the evil Kitsune, combining their power together they were able to face Kurama and defeat him. However their battle didn't come without a cost, of the nine warriors only one had walked away alive.
Many years have passed since Kurama's defeat, with the warriors remembered as heroes for helping free the land from his cruelty and destruction. Though while Kurama may have been defeated, his memory still lives on in those fortunate enough to survive his rampage.
But unknown to many others, Kurama had ensured his legacy would continue to live on in more than just memories.
*Kyoto, Japan*
Walking through Kyoto, Japan were two nineteen-year-old girls heading home after finishing their college classes for the day.
Both girls looked completely identical, both of them having the same fair, pale skin, rich,chocolate-brown hair and violet eyes. Along with the same uniforms consisting of short-sleeved white, sailor-style shirts with blue collars and small orange bows over their chests along with blue around the ends of their sleeves, blue skirts that stopped just above their knees, cream colored socks and blue mary jane shoes.
The only difference being one of the girls had incredibly long hair that went down past her knees and put into a ponytail with a pink ribbon and two orange hairbands near the end to keep her hair bound. And the other girls had shorter hair, keeping hers at shoulder-length.
These two were Ai and Mai Amatsu, twin sisters and local shrine maidens, as well as being two of the last three members of the Amatsu Clan. A clan of Shinto Priests and Priestesses known as Tenjin Guardians, with them possessing a particular affinity for Holy Energy. This being due to them being descended from an Angel. The clan having been sworn to defend humanity from evil, with Ai and Mai being the newest defenders from any beings that'd seek to harm humanity and the innocent.
Ai is the older twin and the one who keeps her hair long to differentiate herself from her sister, along with being the one who's completely devoted to the obligations on their family. While Mai is the younger twin and prefers keeping her hair short, and is considered the more fickle of the sisters.
It wasn't long before the twins arrived back at their home, taking off their shoes at the entrance only to pause when they heard their grandmother speaking to someone.
"Thank you once again for your help, it's my hope his time here will help him begin to open again." Said an elderly male voice.
"Nonsense, I'm happy to help an old friend. Though he's certainly rough around the edges, I can already see he has a good heart. And I'm sure Mai and Ai will be glad to have some help in battle, especially someone like him." Their grandmother said, which really got the twins attention at having someone help them in battle.
"Did you hear anything about us getting help?" Mai asked, quietly looking at her sister, only for Ai to shake her head.
"I didn't hear anything nor did grandmother send any form of message that we would be having assistance in protecting the city." Replied Ai, both of them being curious about who their grandmother was talking to and who it was that'd apparently be helping them in their duties.
Entering the living room, Ai and Mai saw their grandmother sitting across from an elderly man, while also seeing a boy lounging around on the floor.
"Ah, Ai, Mai. I'm so glad to see you both home and just in time as well, please come and greet our guests." Said their grandmother, smiling at her granddaughters.
The boy looked to be twelve or thirteen-years-old with lightly tanned skin, bright spiky blonde hair and cerulean blue eyes, along with having three unique whisker markings on his cheeks. With him wearing an orange and blue jacket with a white collar, a white swirl with a tassel on the left side, and a red swirl crest on the back, orange pants, blue sandals and green goggles on his forehead.
Looking at the boy, Ai immediately went on guard from what she sensed, narrowing her eyes slightly at him as she could sense he wasn't an ordinary human.
'Yōki' Ai thought, sensing that the demonic energy the boy had.
Mai could also sense the Yōki the whiskered blonde had, though she still smiled at him, given if their grandmother had let him in then he must not be bad. Before she looked at their grandmother and the other elder curiously.
"Grandmother, who are our guests?" Mai asked, wondering who they were and why they were here.
"This is Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Chief of Mt. Oinari and an old acquaintance of mine. And the young man with him is Naruto Uzumaki." Their grandmother introduced, with Hiruzen smiling politely at the twins and bowing his head.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both, Ai and Mai. Your grandmother has told me much about you, and I must say it's very commendable you two have taken up the responsibility of protecting Kyoto despite your age." Said Hiruzen, with Mai smiling while Ai nodded in response, not taking her eyes off of Naruto.
"Thank you, Chief Sarutobi, it's an honor and privilege to do what we can to ensure the people here are safe. Though if I may be blunt, that boy has Yōki flowing through him. Why is he here?" Ai asked, making Naruto frown at her in annoyance before crossing his arms with a scoff, while Sarutobi sighed, not surprised they'd ask that.
"That's because Naruto is a Hanyō, the son of malicious Daiyōkai who I was only able to defeat with the help of eight of my friends. Unfortunately, I was the only survivor of the battle. I took pity on Naruto and couldn't bring myself to hold him accountable for his father's sins, I instead took him in, raising and training him personally. Hoping that he would be steered away from going down the same path as his father." Sarutobi explained before looking at Naruto, only for the Uzumaki to turn away, with the twins being surprise at this before Mai smiled again.
"That was incredibly noble of you Chief Sarutobi. I'm sure you've helped him become a fine young man." Mai stated only to be confused when Naruto began snickering as Hiruzen sighed tiredly.
"I'm afraid it's been easier said than done, Naruto can be rather…problematic when it comes to strangers. Not helped with how the rest of the village regards him with contempt and fear, both because of his status as a Hanyō and being the son of the very demon that attacked Mt. Oinari." Revealed Hiruzen, making Mai frown at hearing this.
"I had hoped eventually there would be those who would look past Naruto's status and see him as something other than a Hanyō and the son of a demon. However…recent events have made it so a different course of action is needed." Hiruzen said, getting the twins to look between him and Naruto, noticing the latter lower his head at the mention of the "recent events".
"And you decided to bring him here to assist us in protecting Kyoto." Stated Ai, with Hiruzen nodding in response.
"I have. It's my hope that by being here and helping you defend your city, it will instill a sense of responsibility into Naruto. It's also my wish that by being here, where no one knows who he is, that Naruto will be able to make a friend, a friend that he can truly trust." Sarutobi replied, knowing that if Naruto is to be truly freed from the evil of his father, he must make a true friend.
"I see." Ai muttered, still regarding Naruto warily, but if her grandmother was willing to give him a chance and Hiruzen seemed to trust him then she supposed she could try to at least be polite.
"Well I'm sure it'll be wonderful to have you here, Naruto, and helping us in battle." Said Mai, smiling at the whiskered blonde.
"Whatever." Naruto muttered dismissively, making the girls frown slightly at his tone.
"Girls, why don't you show Naruto around the shrine? His quarters have already been picked out and setup by some of the other Miko's." Their grandmother said since it wasn't just them living at the shrine, they had several Miko Priestesses that help manage it and serve as disciples of the Amatsu Clan.
"Of course, grandmother. Come on Naruto, there's a lot to see." Said Mai, motioning the Uzumaki to follow them, only for him to shrug it off.
"I don't need some stupid tour of some boring shrine. Just tell me where my room is old lady, preferably before you take a twenty hour nap." Naruto said, much to both Ai's and Mai's shock and annoyance at his disrespect.
"Hey! Show respect to your elders, especially when grandmother is the only reason you're being allowed to stay here!" Said Ai, looking at him in annoyance, only for their grandmother to wave it off.
"It's alright girls, he's simply young. And I could tell you where your room is Naruto, but how would you know where to go to get to it, if you don't where anything is." Said the elder, annoying Naruto at the point she just made.
"Fine, let's just get this over with." Naruto said, stalking out of the room with Ai and Mai following after him.
"Well…I suppose I should take my leave now. Should anything come up then you are free to contact me, if necessary." Said Hiruzen, standing up, with the Amatsu elder nodding in response as she stood as well.
"Of course Hiruzen, though I'm sure things will get better the more time Naruto is here, but how long that will take remains to be seen." She said, something Sarutobi agreed with before he frowned.
"You are aware that once it's discovered Naruto is residing here, it will bring a lot more attention down onto your family and Kyoto." Hiruzen stated, knowing Naruto's status as a Hanyō alone will draw attention, but with who his father is it will draw even more.
"Yes, I'm aware. But I'm confident my granddaughters will be able to handle anything or anyone that comes looking for trouble. And I'm sure Naruto won't let anyone try using him, either." Replied the Amatsu elder, Sarutobi nodded at this.
"Then I leave him in your capable hands. Good luck." Said Hiruzen before taking his leave, with the grandmother nodding before sitting down.
'I'm sure we will need all the luck we can get. Especially from Hiruzen told me about Naruto's last attempt at making a friend, and how it ended. Then this going to be an uphill battle to get him to open up.' She thought, knowing this will be a much more difficult challenge than fighting any demon or Yōkai.
*With Naruto, Ai and Mai*
"This is the garden, it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. I can show you the best spots to lay at and at what time they give the perfect amount of shade, or if you prefer the sun then I know some good spots for that as well." Mai said smiling at Naruto as she and Ai showed him around the shrine gardens.
Having already shown him the dining hall, the library, the kitchen, the bathing area and hot spring, along with where the residential area of the shrine is located.
"The training hall is also over there, with there being an archery range behind it." Added Ai, motioning to a building in a corner of the shrine.
"Is that supposed to be a warning?" Naruto demanded while narrowing his eyes, making Ai frown at him.
"No, I'm simply pointing it out in the event you wish to train or learn to use a weapon." Ai said, trying to simply make an effort to be nice, only for the whiskered blonde to scoff.
"Like I'd want to train with a bunch of Miko. How do I know any "accidents" won't happen?" Retorted Naruto, with Ai's frown deepening.
"You are a guest here and will be treated as such. And if you are going to be helping us in fighting those that would seek to harm our city, then it would benefit you to learn how to fight." Stated Ai while feeling her annoyance start growing.
"I do know how to fight and can use Jutsu, I don't need any training from you or anyone else here." Said Naruto, with the two looking at each other with narrow eyes.
"Then I'm sure you won't have any problems when the time comes to fight. If you don't need our training, then you won't need our help if you get into trouble." Ai retorted, being able to tell he's more bark than bite.
"How about I show you tro-" Naruto said before Mai quickly intervened.
"I'm sure you're more than capable of handling yourself, Naruto. Ai merely takes our duties very seriously when it comes to defending Kyoto. And if you don't wish to train with us, you're still free to use the training hall when it's empty. We can even show you some scrolls and books for fighting techniques, and help you pick a weapon if you're interested in using one." Said Mai, smiling between the two.
"I don't need any dumb weapon; I can fight just fine without one with my powers." Said Naruto while crossing his arms, while Ai made a "Tsk" sound.
"A weapon would probably just get in the way for you anyway, that is if you'd even be able to lift one up let alone use it." Ai said, causing the whiskered blonde to glare at her.
"What did you say?!" Naruto demanded, angry at the jab to his height, making Ai smirk slightly.
"Oh, did you not hear from the all the way down there? Let me say it louder, you're too short to even think of using a weapon!" Said Ai, Naruto growled in anger at this.
"There's nothing wrong at all with that, Naruto! You are still young, so it's obvious you wouldn't be as tall as us, but that doesn't mean there aren't weapons you can use! I'm sure you'll grow much taller than even us once you're older!" Mai said quickly while smiling nervously, hoping to prevent a fight from breaking out.
"I'm the same age as you!" Naruto retorted, with the twins blinking in confusion at this before Ai snorted lightly.
"Then it seems like you won't be getting any taller." Ai stated, only for Naruto to unzip his jacket and lift up his shirt showing a seal on his stomach.
"I only look like this because of this stupid suppressor!" Said Naruto, making Ai and Mai look at it in surprise, kneeling down to get a closer look at it.
"What is that?" Mai asked curiously, knowing about certain seals that are used on Yōkai and Hanyō to suppress their power, but they're also usually meant to keep them imprisoned.
"It's called the Eight Trigrams Seal, the old man put it on me and as long as it's on then I'm stuck like this. It's why I look six years younger, I can only look like my true age with the Transformation Jutsu." Naruto replied, much to their intrigue that the seal is what's making him look so young.
"I see. And is Chief Sarutobi the only one who can unlock it?" Ai asked, wondering if Hiruzen is the only one who could remove the suppressor.
"I'm supposed to be able to unlock it myself, but only after I make friends. Like that'll ever happen." Said Naruto, muttering the last part bitterly as he pulled his shirt back down.
"Hey, don't be like that. It's not that hard to make friends, I'm sure you'll be making plenty of them in no time." Mai said while smiling encouragingly, believing Naruto won't have much trouble making friends.
"The last "friend" I had talked shit about me behind my back when he thought I wasn't around. I trapped the asshole in a pit and then pissed on him, and he'd be stuck smelling like that for ten days." Naruto stated, causing Ai and Mai to look at him dryly.
"…If you…even think about doing that…to any of us…you will be sleeping in a dog house…with a litter box." Ai said slowly, wanting to make it perfectly clear she's not kidding.
"Well uh…I still believe you can do it! Just because you've had a few bad experiences before doesn't mean you can't keep trying again and again! Besides you don't have to worry about anyone knowing your status here, like back on Mt. Oinari! So all you need is to keep trying and soon you'll have plenty of friends!" Said Mai, smiling confidently that Naruto will be able to make friends.
Only for Naruto to look at her skeptically, wondering how she could sound so confident about something she knew nothing about. And with all his prior encounters with human, Naruto thought it was more likely for pigs to start flying than for him to make friends with them.
"…Sure, whatever you say. I'm going to my room now, thanks for wasting my time with some tour." Naruto said, heading towards the residential area, not interested in seeing anything else about the shrine.
"Ehehehehe…I'm sure he'll come around…soon." Mai said sheepishly while turning to her peeved looking sister.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we get some background on Kurama, learning he's the son of Tamamo no Mae and is just as cruel and twisted, while having seduced a Kunoichi of Mt. Oinari leading to Naruto being born. Before he's defeated by nine warriors and sealed away, while the only survivor, Hiruzen Sarutobi, takes Naruto in to raise and train him to not follow his father's footsteps.
Then we see Ai and Mai Amatsu (the protagonists of Twin Angels) returning home from college and getting some information about them, before they arrive home to find their grandmother along with Hiruzen and Naruto. Learning who Naruto is and that he'd be staying with them, with Hiruzen hoping it'll instill some responsibility to him by helping defend their city and so he can try and make some friends.
Finally we see Ai and Mai giving Naruto a tour, with Mai being the most welcoming while Ai makes an effort to try and be nice, only for Naruto's hostility and rudeness leading them to butt heads. Which also leads to Naruto revealing he's the same age as them, only looking younger due to a suppressor seal keeping his powers locked away, and the only he can undo it is if he makes a true friend, which he doubts will ever happen. Only for Mai to believe he'll be able to make a friend, though Naruto remains skeptical before he leaves for his room.
Also just a quick side note, for those familiar with "Twin Angels" or looked it up, there's not going to be any sex/rape demons in this, so if any of you were worried or expecting that, it's not happening.
So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
Storm out
