Third Person POV
Encanto, Colombia, age 769
It has been 5 years since Mirabel Madrigal's failed gift ceremony. In that time, she had become the black sheep of the family ever since. She had struggled to fit in the family and the community as she felt she could do nothing extraordinary for the community like the rest of her family.
The now 10 year old girl was on her way collecting supplies for her mama at the request/demand of her Abuela. Her Tia Pepa was going to give birth any day now to her third child, and her mama needs all the supplies to make sure her Tia has a healthy and safe birth.
Mirabel was happy as she felt like she was being helpful instead of being in the way, so she did the task happily.
Little did she and the rest of the family know, a world ending threat that had been terrorizing the world outside Encanto for the past two years was making its way towards the hidden and peaceful village, where they were about to bring untold destruction.
At Casita as Mirabel was heading to downtown:
The Madrigals were discussing events, from gossip in the town, to the birth of the soon to be newest member of the Madrigals, which Abuela is excited for as she wants to show the community the magic is still strong after Mirabel's failed ceremony five years ago. Things were peaceful until Dolores, the second oldest of the Madrigal grandchildren, whose gift involved super hearing, was listening to the events of the town and the gossip, when she picked up on something strange and eventually horrifying.
She was listening, when she heard the voice of a male talking to a female
"Common Sis, this will be fun. We have been going around destroying the same cities and cities for the last two years, and it gets kind of boring. It is time to spread out and find new humans to scare and destroy" the male voice said.
"You are such a child seventeen, but you are right. Torturing the same meatbags for the last two years have been boring, since they have gotten used to us. It would be nice to find a place that we haven't attacked yet and bring back that first time terror that really gets us going" the female voice said.
"your right eighteen, and would you look at that! A small village in the middle of this forest and mountains, Jackpot. Kind of small compared to the big cities, but it will due, don't you think sis'" The man, only known as Seventeen asked. The female known as eighteen replied with a gleeful tone
"Your right seventeen. Lets get ready to rein destruction on these unsuspecting fools" eighteen says, as they get closer to the Encanto.
Dolores has a horrified expression on her face at this point, which catches the attention of her family as they were happily talking about the birth of the new baby.
"Dolores, what is wrong?" Abuela asked, worried about what her granddaughter could be hearing.
"Sweetie, what is wrong" Pepa asked her oldest, trying to stay calm and not cause a hurricane with her gift.
"Yeah, what is wrong?" Felix asks, concerned about his usually shy but sweet daughter.
Dolores rises up quickly.
"We have to head downtown now!" She shouts, running for the door. Her family panics
"What, Why? Is it Mirabel?" Julieta asks with concern for her youngest, did something happen to her?
This causes Luisa to get up too, worried about her baby sister.
Pepa starts to panic, worried something was happening to her sobrina.
"Clear skies, Clear Skies" she says to herself, trying to calm down, with Felix rubbing her back.
Abuela was not as worried, thinking Mirabel was causing trouble.
"Is Mirabel causing trouble Dolores?" Abuela asked.
Dolores shook her head quickly, not wanting to waste any time.
"No, it is much worse. I heard people, two of them, coming from outside Encanto. They are male and female, a brother and sister. They seem to go by the numbers seventeen and eighteen, and they claim to have been destroying cities for the last two years, killing people. They say they were coming this way as they got board and were looking for a new target, and that is the Encanto!" Dolores said rapidly/
This quickly horrified all the Madrigals, and this made Pepa panic, causing a full on hurricane to start.
Julieta then remembered
"MIRABEL!" she shouted, remembering her youngest is out there and in extreme danger.
This drives the Madrigals into even more of a panic.
Julieta dashes out the door, wanting to get her youngest to safety from whatever threat was approaching.
She was followed by her other children and husband.
Dolores follows alongside Camilo, where Pepa, Felix and Abuela move last as they are the slowest due to Pepa's pregnancy and Abuela's age.
As they get out the door and head down the path, the wind and raining howling due to Pepa's panicked state, the darkness finally let up as they saw the center of Encanto blow up in a dome of light, as they heard the screams of the citizens and the fires being spread
This shocks and horrifies the family. Who or what had the power to do this?
"MIRABEL" they all shout out in panic as they pick up the pace, with Luisa picking up Abuela and Pepa to move faster.
Downtown, just as the explosion happens:
Mirabel was just walking along when she looked up and saw a storm was picking, a strong one.
"What Has Tia Pepa upset?" Mirabel wondered, as this was a big storm, even for her pains from her pregnancy.
She then saw a light illuminate the sky. It was yellow and looked like a mini sun.
"What is that?" She asked.
Her curiosity changed to panic as soon as the still light blasted forward and was heading towards the ground.
Horrified, she ran back as the light headed towards the ground. She then suddenly heard a loud explosion as she was blown forward, skidding along the ground.
Bruised but alive, as she got up and took in her surroundings. She was horrified at what was around her.
The once peaceful downtown was reduced to rubble and fires, with a large crater in the center.
She saw people panicking and running from the fires.
That is when she heard screams behind her and saw something a girl her age shouldn't see,
A young man with black hair was killing people left and right as they begged for their lives, but the man showed no mercy.
Mirabel was disturbed and didn't know what to do except to sit their frozen.
However she started to move when she realized the man picked his next target

She started to turn and run when she bumped into someone. She looked up at who and was horrified.
A blonde woman, with the same cold look as the man from behind her was staring down at her, giving him a sinister smirk.
"where do you think your going little one" the woman says.
Mirabel tries to back away when she bumps into someone behind her.
Hesitantly, she turned around and her worse fears were confirmed. It was the same man as before, staring down at her with the same sinister smirk as the lady in front of her.
"Yeah, you heard my sister. Why run, stay around and hang a while. We don't bite…. We blast instead" the man said making a dark joke. The man looks at the girl
"How many did you kill eighteen" The man asks the woman, now known as eighteen. Eighteen smirks.
"20, how about you seventeen?" Eighteen asks the man, now known as seventeen.
Seventeen gets a smirk on his face
"What do you know, I got 20 also. It seems we are tied again, which means we need a tie breaker... and I think we found her" Seventeen said, as he looked down smirking at Mirabel.
Mirabel froze up upon hearing that, but before she could react Seventeen picked her up by the back of her shirt. She started to kick and scream trying to get him to let her go, to no avail
"Let me go! DOLORES!1 MAMA!HELP!" She screamed and cried. This got on Seventeens and Eighteen's nerves.
"Shut it you brat. God, your whining is so annoying. Let's finish her off Seventeen and then lay waste to the rest of this shithole of a village" Eighteen said, annoyed they were wasting anymore time with this whining brat.
"Ok, fine. Well kid it's time to say our goodbyes. You can stop crying, as no one is coming to save you" He said as he lifted his hand, as an energy blast started to form, and Mirabel closed her eyes, scared. However they stopped when they heard a shout.
"PUT MY SISTER DOWN YOU JERKS!" A voice shouted out.
Seventeen and Eighteen turned and were shocked to see a big buff teenage girl arrive, carrying an old woman and a pregnant lady, with a cloud above her head?
They were followed by two other adult males, a adult female, Two older teenage girls, and a male child.
"Well what do you know, your family did arrive kid'' Seventeen said to Mirabel, who opened her eyes and was happy to see her family, as Seventeen disipated the energy blast.
"MAMA!" Mirabel shouted seeing her mother,
Julieta, seeing her daughter, wanted to run forward and grab her from these two monsters, but she was stopped by Isabela and Agustin, telling her to be patient, as Mirabel was still in danger.
Alma was put on the ground as she got a good look at the two attackers and was shocked to see they were young, looking no older than Dolores or Isabela. She saw Mirabel in the young man's hands. She saw the strange light he had in his hands before it disappeared. Did they have magic also? Is that how they caused all this senseless destruction? She saw them holding Mirabel, who was scared and wanted to just be back with her family. Alma tried to stay calm and approached the two with an air of authority around her.
"Who are you two?! Why did you attack our Encanto and take my granddaughter hostage?!" she yelled, demanding an explanation.
Seventeen and Eighteen stared at her and just smirked, finding it funny this old lady was thought she could demand anything from them, but they decided to humor her.
"Well old lady, to tell you, I am Android 17 and this is my sister Android 18. You seem to not know about us due to the area this little village of yours is in, so to tell you, we are androids created by a scientist named Dr. Gero for world domination, though we killed him as we didn't care for his plans. So we just went on a spree of mass destruction, destroying cities and killing humans." He said.
'Yeah, we see you humans and we hate you. We have no ulterior motive for what we do. We just hate you humans and want to destroy you" Eighteen said.
This made Alma and the rest of the Madrigal's shocked. While they do not understand what an "android" is, they are still shocked to hear how these two go around destroying cities and killing people.
Alma cleared her throat, trying to hide her fear.
'Well then, I demand you leave and hand over my granddaughter" She said.
Seventeen and Eighteen smiled at this and laughed.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me lady. You think you are going to tell us what to do? You crack me up lady. No you see, here is what is going to happen. We are going to kill the kid here, and you being here makes it more fun, as you can watch. Then we are going to continue destroying your little village and reduce it to rubble. We might even let you live, as I think seeing all that will be more satisfying to me than just killing you." Seventeen said with a deranged look in his eyes.
This horrified the madrigals, with Julieta crying
"Please, let my little girl go, please. Destroy the town, just let her go, please!" She begged.
Alma turned to her shocked.
"Julieta, you can't just say that" she said. She didn't want to sacrifice the town and the miracle, even for her granddaughter.
Seventeen and Eighteen look at the crying mother and just laugh at her pitiful display.
"That is the type of look I want to see. The horror and pitiful begging you humans do, I love it. It makes it more satisfying when crushing you pathetic lot" Seventeen said.
"Yeah, and your willing to sacrifice the whole village for this brat, are you sure we are the monsters?" Eighteen said.
They continued to laugh at Julieta's suffering, while the rest of the family such as Agustin, Pepa, and Felix try to comfort her. Dolores stands by comforting her brother Camilo who is crying and scared, for his family and Mirabel especially. Isabela and Alma are just disturbed by this display.
Luisa however feels one thing
Unending RAGE!
Faster than anyone could react, she charges the androids to get her sister
"Lusia, NO!" Isabela yelled for her younger sister.
"Lusia, Stop right now!" Alma yelled for her strong granddaughter/
"Lusia, sweetheart stop!" Agustin yelled for his middle child
"LUISA!" Julieta shouts, wanting her daughter to stop, not wanting to risk two of her children's lives.
But Luisa doesn't she sees is red and wanting to save her baby ran pulling her fist back, and made contact with Android Seventeen's face with all her strength.
Seventeen had just stopped laughing when he heard that family call someone's name, and when he looked, he saw that buff teenage girl in front of him with her fist coming full force at him.
He was surprised and thus didn't even have his guard up. Her fist made contact with his face.
Eighteen was shocked at the expected punch, but then she started to laugh.
The Madrigals worry quickly turned to horror, as they saw Lusia, who was able to break open mountains and lift churches, punch Seventeen full on in the face...
And it did ABSOLUTELY nothing.
Lusia couldn't believe it. A full force punch from her, enchanced by her anger at that, did nothing to this guy. This is when Luisa felt something she rarely feels.
True fear.
Seventeen, annoyed, grabbed her wrist and pulled her fist out of his face. He started to crush her wrist, which brings Luisa to her knees in pain. Mirabel could only watch scared at her strong big sister in pain
'Luisa, NO!" she shouted to her big sister.
Seventeen was both annoyed and amused.
"So, you thought you could hurt me? That is funny. I will admit, that was stronger punch than any normal human could do, but still it is nothing compared to me. All you did make sure to do was make me angry" He said as he crushed Lusia's wrist as she cried in pain until...
SNAP!
"AHHHHHHHHHH" Lusia cried in pain as left wrist was broken. She fell to the ground clutching her broken wrist.
The Madrigals were horrified at the outcome. The strongest of them all, brought down so easily. What were they going to do?
But it got worse.
Eighteen came up next, done laughing
"Having fun brother" She said.
"Yeah, no thanks to you. It wasn't that funny" He said. Eighteen just shrugged her shoulders.
"Whatever. Still to think this girl thought she could hurt us, that is pathetic and insulting. Still I can't let her go unpunished for that" she said.
Eighteen then picked up Luisa by the hair, who was in pain. And did something that made what her brother did look nice.
She took her finger and fired an energy beam through Lusia's stomach.
Time seemed to move slowly for the Madrigal's as they saw the beam cut through Luisa like a knife through butter and was sent flying through the air.
"LUISA!" Mirabel and Julieta both shouted in despair.
"Oh god, NO!" Agustin shouted.
'l..usia.."Pepa said upset, as the storm picked up with more intentisty.
"My baby sister...no" whispered Isabela
"This ca..can..nt be happening"Alma muttered, hoping this was a dream.
Dolores was comforting Camilo and having him look away. And Felix, despite being upset, was trying to comfort his wife.
Luisa landed in front of them, bleeding with a hole in her stomach and a broken wrist.
Seventeen smirked and looked at his sister
"Man sis, that was brutal" he said.
"Hey, she thought she could disrespect us, I couldn't allow that. Either way, I'm done with this. Let's kill the kid like we said, destroy the village, and then leave and return to the city, I want to go shopping" she said. Seventeen rolled his eyes but obliged.
'You always want to kill the fun by wanting to do something boring like shopping, but ok sis, we will do it your way" Seventeen said. He turned to the broken family with a smile.
"Well this has been fun, and entertaining, but my sister and I have to be on our way. So first off, say goodbye to your daughter, as she will not be here much longer" Seventeen said, as he raised his hand to blast Mirabel away.
The family, broken from all that has happed, could only sit in horrified silence.
Mirabel looked at her family, wanting them to be the last thing she saw before dying. While she did not have a close relationship with Isabela and her Abuela in the years since her ceremony, she will still miss them.
Alma watched in horror, praying for a miracle to this sitaution, like the one that came to her family 45 years ago after the death of her beloved Pedro. She prayed for one more miracle like that to save her Encanto and family, to save Luisa, and especially Mirabel, who she had been cold too these past few years, but she promised to change that if they could get out of this.
Her prayer came, but not in the way she or the family could hope
"BEGONE!" Seventeen said as he prepared to fire his blast, but that never came.
He was suddenly kicked from the side and was sent flying into his sister, knocking them both into the ruins of a building.
Mirabel had closed her eyes, ready for death. But when she felt nothing and instead felt the grip of Seventeen slip, as she fell onto the ground. She opened up her eyes and looked up shocked.
She saw a boy, a little older than her, around the age of 12. He had long shaggy black hair, held together by a hair tie. He wore Orange clothing with a blue undershirt, blue wrist bands, and blue boots, with the clothes having a weird symbol on them.
He turned and looked down at Mirabel.
She was bit scared, but then he offered her his hand to pull her up, which she accepted slowly.
"You ok?" he asked. Mirabel was shocked but nodded
"Yeah I'm ok" she whispered, shocked at how he appeared out of nowhere.
They turned to the rest of her family who was shocked at what happened, but that was overshadowed when Mirabel ran over to her family, with Julieta grabbing her in happiness, not wanting to let her go, worried she would be taken away again.
"Mirabel, your ok, thank goodness" she said, hugging and kissing her daughter. Agustin doing the same.
Mirabel was happy but then remembered.
"Luisa!" she shouted, remembering her injured older sister.
The Madrigal's turn to Luisa.
They see she is still alive, barley.
Julieta would heal her, but she doesn't have any food on her and they didn't want to move her for fear she could die if moved.
That is when the boy came over.
Some were weary of him, as he came out of nowhere and kicked those two away, while others were grateful.
He looked down at Lusia, seeing her state, and reached around his belt and pulled out a brown sack. He reached in and pulled out a green bean.
He gave it to Julieta, who was confused.
"Give it to her" the boy said. Julieta was confused, but desperate she complied.
She slid the bean down her daughter's throat and helped her chew and swallow.
A few seconds later, Lusia regained consciousness, her wrist healed the hole in her stomach gone.
The family was surprised, but then Mirabel, Julieta and the rest jumped on her in a hug, crying in happiness that she was ok.
The boy smiled at this, it reminding them of his own family from before.
Julieta turned to the boy, grateful for saving both her daughters lives from those monsters.
"Thank you" she says.
The boy smiles and nods back. However the moment is interrupted as noise from the ruined building is heard, and the rubble begins moving.
The family freezes up as the boy gets into a battle stance.
The androids get out of the rubble, their clothes scuffed up but otherwise unharmed. They turn back to the family, wondering what could have happened that took them off guard.
That was until they saw a familiar face. Seventeen smirks
"Well if it isn't friend Son Gohan. We haven't seen you for six months. We wondered where you have been. Surprised to see you out here though" Seventeen said.
"This brat again, so annoying" Eighteen said,.
The boy, Gohan, had a look of anger.
" I was in the area training and heard the explosions and sensed the loss of life. I am tired of you androids. You two will pay for what you have done to this planet, you hear me!" he said.
Eighteen smirked.
"You know, that is very familiar... ah yes, that was the same thing Piccolo and Tien said right before we destroyed them" Eighteen said.
This angered Gohan even more at hearing the names of his dead friends.
Seventeen stepped up though
"Since you're here, why don't we fight. I need something to enterain me and you're the best thing we got" Seventeen said.
This pissed Gohan off.
"Underestimating me will be your last mistake" Gohan said, as he screamed and powered up as the wind started to pick up even more around him, as his aura created a lightshow.
His hair started to flicker until it became golden, and his black eyes became a bluish-green color.
Seventeen stood there, not that impressed.
'Ah a super saiyan... still not that impressed. You say not to underestimate you, but funny enough Vegeta said the same thing before he died. He was also a super saiyan, but that didn't stop me from killing him while he lied stuck in the dirt"He said.
Gohan got mad and charged, where Seventeen did the same.
They began to clash at fast speeds.
Eighteen stayed on the sidelines watching.
The Madrigals could only watch in amazement as this boy named Gohan turned blonde and was able to actually fight Seventeen,
They might be saved.
Alma looked up at the shockwaves in the sky, hoping this was their salvation.
She hoped this boy was the miracle they needed
