Somewhere on planet popstar, far above the land, was a massive starship called the Halberd, residence of one of the finest star warriors in the galaxy. At five star ranking, he had defeated hundreds of evil beings, saved multiple planets, and was widely renowned throughout multiple circles. He even wielded a magic sword with a British voice, like all the heroes you've read about! All of them. All in all, he was the rugged and dashing knight from most tales of fantasy and wonder, with his noble band of merry fellow knights and repetition of his honorable name forth from his…

Oh, forget it.

His name was Meta Knight. He was a star warrior with an ego problem tasked with making sure the planet didn't explode or anything. And like on most mornings, he was in the bridge, ensuring the safety of both the Halberd and the planet. "Good morning, sir!" chirped a polite voice from the doorway. Sailor Waddle Dee, the resident gofer of the Halberd, walked up to Meta Knight, who was flipping through security camera footage from the previous night. "Did you sleep well?" "I slept, and that's about all that matters" Meta Knight replied dryly. He was a no-nonsense kind of person, and was not going to be distracted by anyone, even if they were wearing sailor hats. "I'm in the middle of something, Sailor Waddle Dee. Don't you have something to do?" "Actually, I finished everything on my to-do list hours ago!" Sailor Waddle Dee replied cheerfully. Waddle Dees were workaholics by nature, so they often woke up at ungodly hours if they had something to do. Sailor Waddle Dee was no exception and had cleaned the entire ship by the time he went to check on Meta Knight.

Meta Knight sighed, and walked to another large touchscreen. "Fair enough. Just please leave me alone for now." He said, checking the energy readings of the planet. Sailor Waddle Dee started to say something, then just walked away. Meta Knight was quick to anger, and Sailor Waddle Dee decided it would be best if he just left him alone. Besides, he was clearly busy. A few minutes after Sailor Waddle Dee left the room, Meta Knight froze. There was an insanely strong energy reading coming from Planet Popstar's Exosphere. He had seen these kinds of readings before. There was a Dark Matter nearby. However, judging by the exact readings, he knew exactly which one it actually was.

"Crap." Meta Knight said.

He quickly absconded to the top deck of the Halberd, and dove of the ledge. Suddenly, his cape transformed into a massive pair of wings. This was one of his many rugged and impressive abilities. He quickly flew down to the planet's surface.

He knew that only one person other than himself could even begin to rival a Dark Matter in strength.

He went off to find the planet's finest warrior.
