Looking at the history of this world was a learning experience in and of itself, although I also found several red flags that caused me no small amount of terror.

Captain America existed, and the pictures and videos of him showed that I was in some version of the MCU.

Because there was no way I was not going to recognize Chris Evans.

And neither was I going to fail to recognize Gal Gadot who were in a picture together with the actors for Howard stark and Peggy carter from MCU.

From World War 2.

Yeah, something was seriously wrong in this picture.

Then there is the fact that Hydra is a thing which is a whole another headache when you realize that Intergang from the modern day can find its connections all the way back to the nazi group that originated from a cult worshipping Inhumans.

These things, combined with a few other things like the local news from Kansas from years ago, talking about a school bus accident with zero casualties, and the news about the deaths of Howard and Maria Stark from years ago cement the fact that this world is a fusion of MCU and DCEU.

Now that I know where I am, I need to start preparing contingencies and prepare for the apocalyptic shit that is about to happen.

My inner Lex Luthor is appalled at the thought of how many humans would die in the coming conflicts due to alien beings while my Builder half is already starting to work through the logistics of acquiring enough resources to build something to protect the normal people of this world.

And I couldn't agree more with my inner-selves. Although listening to the old lex could prove fatal since he is a bit crazy. But there is no denying the fact that his goals have always been to uplift all of humanity to a better future. This goal was only tarnished by his own ego which made him believe that he alone has the right to decide what direction said uplifting should take.

"Mercy, have the head of RD bring the old schematics for the Fusion reactor prototypes from the nineties that my father was working on"

"But sir, the fusion reactor was shelved for a reason. While it was easy to create a sustained fusion reaction, we failed to generate more power than it took to run it. Besides, we already have a huge influence in the consumer market with our LexCorp phones, our consumer products, and our oil business. If we started to diversify now into the energy business, we would be the first ones to run out of money since we hold the largest oil reserves in the world besides Wayne Enterprises"

"Mercy, I have had a lot of time to think about the future during my recent trip to the hospital, and I believe that we have much more to offer humanity as a whole than just consumer products and oil. Bring out the plans and have the RD meet me."

She simply looked questioningly at me before leaving to do what I said.

If this world is going to follow in the footsteps of both the MCU and the DCEU, then there are many things I need to prepare humanity for.

That reminds me.

I quickly dialed Mercy's number.

"Mercy, inform Mr.Killian that we are willing to fund his research as per his request in our last meeting, but the research must be done under my terms"

I remember from Lex's memories that Aldrich Killian had asked support from LexCorp for his think tank A.I.M so that he could "Upgrade the human genome" which is just a cover for his extremis project.

The real kicker is that he was already walking on his legs with an impressive physique. But he was not supposed to inject himself with extremis until 2007.

This world is completely out of whack and I can't really predict events as well as I thought.

But his also has a silver lining.

With Killian's Extremis, I can work out the kinks in it and then have it spread across the entire populace.

In this way, by the time of the invasion of New York or the arrival of the Kryptonians, Instead of ordinary squishy humans, they will find a population of superhuman beings.

But this is a plan for later. First I need to start looking through all the books I can find on any subject that I can.

A superhuman mind is useless without the knowledge required to sharpen it.
