3. Learning to adapt

Jake and Neytirr approach Tonowari, the leader of the Metkayina Ocean clan, and his wife and spiritual leader, TSAHÌK Ronal.

Jake: "Tonowari, we come before you seeking shelter with your clan. Our people face great danger, and we need a safe haven."

Tonowari: "What danger do your people face, Jake?"

Neytirr: "The RDA is still causing trouble. They're trying to exploit Pandora's resources, and they won't stop until they get what they want."

Tonowari: "I see. Well, you and your people are welcome to stay with us. We know all too well what it's like to fight against those who would harm our planet."

TSAHÌK Ronal studies Kia, Jake and Neytirr's son.

TSAHÌK Ronal: "He is human. He will be slow in the water."

Jake: "Kia will adapt. He's a fast learner, and he's already shown an interest in your ways."

Tonowari: "It will be an honor to have the first humans in our clan. My son and daughter will teach them our ways."

Neytirr: "Thank you, Tonowari, and thank you Ronal. We are grateful for your kindness."

Tonowari: "It is our duty to protect Pandora and all those who seek refuge here. We stand with you, Jake and Neytirr, in the fight against the RDA."
