6. Learning to fight

Kia: *throwing punches and kicks* "This is really fun! I'm glad I get to learn from you, Aonung."

Aonung: *dodging Kia's attacks* "You have a lot of natural talent, Kia. It's impressive."

Kia: *grinning* "Thanks! I used to fight a lot back on the Sky People's home planet. It's good to be able to practice again like karate."

Aonung: *nodding* "I can see that. You're a natural. But there's something else about you, Kia. You're not like the other Sky People I know. You're different somehow."

Kia: *pausing* "Different how?"

Aonung: *thinking* "I'm not sure yet. It's just a feeling I have. But I know one thing for sure - you're the only Sky Person that I've really warmed up to."

Kia: *smiling brightly* "That means a lot to me, Aonung. I really want to make friends while I'm here, so I'm glad you like me."

Aonung: *returning the smile* "Don't worry, Kia. You'll make lots of friends here. And who knows, maybe we'll discover something special about you together."
