Christian

They were rolling Ana down a hospital corridor on a gurney.

"Please be careful. She's pregnant." I told the EMTs.

They rolled her through the doors.

"Please stay back, Mr. Grey. Let us help your Wife."

The clear glass doors slid closed in front of me.

Later

I was pacing in a hospital room.

Mom was sitting on the couch in here.

"I was so awful to her, Mom. The things I said. I want to take them all back."

"Sweetheart, if there was no room in Marriage for mistakes, none of them would last more than a week."

I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Tell her you're sorry. And mean it. Then give her a little time."

"I thought she was leaving me."

She chuckled.

"Not this one. She's tenacious. Especially about things that she loves."

I put my hands in my pockets.

"And she does love you, Christian."

Mom stood up.

She placed her hand on my arm.

"You know that, don't you?" Mom questioned.

"Yeah. Yeah, I do."

"Good."

She placed her hand on my chest.

I hugged Mom.

"Oh, Sweetheart."

Ana

I groaned quietly.

I put a hand to my forehead.

Christian

Ana sat up in the hospital bed.

"Anastasia."

I broke the hug.

"I'll call Dr. Bartlet."

"Hey."

I sat in front of her.

"How are you feeling?"

Ana took the Oxygen nose piece out of her nose.

"Is the baby... The baby's okay?"

"The baby's fine."

I stroked her long dark brown hair.

We leaned our heads against each other's head.

"Baby's fine."

I stroked Ana's face.

"Thank God."

She gasped.

Ana whimpered.

"Is Kate okay?"

"Yes."

She sighed in relief.

I kissed Ana on the forehead.

"Kate's fine."

I stroked her hair.

"Hey."

Ana laid back down.

She groaned softly.

I held Ana's hand in mine.

I kissed her hand.

"Ana, I want to have this baby with you. I was just scared. I wanted your world to begin and end with me."

"It does. Christian, it does. You're my whole life."

I kissed Ana's hand again.

"Are you crying?"

She placed her hand on my face.

"Come here."

I chuckled softly.

I laid next to Ana in her hospital bed.

She clung onto my arm.

I kissed Ana on the forehead.

Later

"I know you think you're gonna be a really crappy father."

I looked up at her.

"But you're not."

Ana placed her hand on my arm.

"This baby's gonna love you. Unconditionally. Just like you loved your mother."

I looked down.

"You just have to forgive her."

I sighed.
