"Alright!" Sora cheered. "That's another one down!"

"Where are we going next, Sora?" Donald asked.

"Somewhere fun?" Sora tried.

"Sora!"

"Why don't you try the Keyblade again?" Goofy suggested.

"Yeah, that's a good idea!" He held out his Kingdom Key and pointed it towards the windshield on the Gummiship. A beam shot forwards, it taking a hard turn to the right once it was at least a five minute drive away from their current position. "Alright, looks like we're going that way!"

"Don't fly into an asteroid," Donald muttered.

The path curved through an asteroid belt, much to Donald's dislike. Sora was careful to not touch any of them, but Donald still felt unsafe. The journey was surprisingly short, and took them to a planet that displayed an image of mushrooms on the radar.

"Mushroom planet?" Sora asked.

"It looks cute," Goofy stated.

"Don't crash!" Donald exclaimed.

"I won't crash, Donald! I know how to land this!"

Sora stepped out the ship onto a white-tiled path leading into the main square of the town. Doland exited after, and Goofy followed.

Sora took a deep breath of the fresh, crisp air. "Aah! Wait...why do I smell paper?"

He turned to Donald and Goofy. They looked surprisingly flat with white outlines. Their details were lowered, so they also looked kind of cute. Donald looked at his hands and screamed.

"What happened?!" He waved his hands around.

"Oh, it's not too bad," Goofy said. "You should be used to this by now, Donald!"

"But I'm paper thin! I'll blow away in the wind!"

Sora laughed at Donald overreacting. "Anyways, we were led here for a reason. We should check this little town to see if anything's wrong."

They entered the town to find little red, green, yellow, blue, and purple mushroom people rushing around carrying things in their arms.

"Oh, mushroom people!" Sora said. "The picture on the radar makes more sense now!"

"Excuse me," said a red mushroom person. They were holding what looked liked an origami table.

"Do you need any help with that?" Sora asked. "What are you doing with that?"

"We're preparing for the second Origami Festival!"

"A festival? That sounds fun!" Sora smiled at the mushroom person. "I can help you with that, if you want!"

"Sure!" They passed the table to Sora, who carried it over his head. "Where do I put it?"

"Over here!" The mushroom person walked off, Sora following with the table.

"What's you name?" Sora asked.

"I'm Toad, and I'm the Head Decorator this year! At least, after or other one went missing..."

"I'm Sora! And they went missing?"

"Yeah, you can put that down here."

Sora placed the table down and straightened it as much as he could. "Looks good!" He gave Toad a thumbs-up.

"You see, the Head Decorator is an amazing Origami Craftsman. Princess Peach put him in charge, but he went missing a few moments before you arrived. A girl named Olivia went looking for him in the Whispering Woods. If you're looking for Olivia, you can just head out of Toad Town they way you came in and head to the right."

"Thanks! I'll see if I can find this Olivia."

"Thank you, Sora. I hope you can stay for the festival!" Toad walked away.

Sora faced Donald, who was standing with his arms crossed and Goofy, who was looking at some origami cranes. "Alright, we're going to find somebody named Olivia. I don't know what she looks like, but I'm sure we'll know when we meet her!" He exited the town and pointed a hand towards the woods. "Toad said she went that way."

"Great!" Goofy said. "Helping people as soon as we arrive!"

"Like in Olympus," Donald started. "We might get into trouble first thing too."

"Stop being so pessimistic, Donald!" Sora started towards the woods. "Alright, let's go!"

Just as the name implied, there were whispers echoing throughout the woods as they made their way through. After a bit of traveling, they made it into the center of the woods, where a large light brown tree sat; it's leaves rustling in the wind.

There was a person wearing a yellow dress floating in place near the tree, staring up at the towering top of it. They had short, curly, blonde hair and a yellow hat-like crown. They also had acorn brown boots, and white hands, both triangle-shaped.

Sora reached forwards and tapped them near where their arm connected to their body. "Hello?"

"Aah!" They turned. They were a pale peach color with black rectangle-shaped eyes. "Ooh, you scared me."

"Sorry 'bout that!" Sora rubbed the back of his head. "I'm looking for somebody named Olivia. Have you seen her?"

"Ooh, you must be new here. I'm actually that Olivia you're looking for! Hello!" She waved a triangle hand. "I was asking Sweet Sap Loggins here if he had seen the Head Decorator." She faced back to the tree. "Any news?"

Eyes appeared on the tree near the leaves, in between two branches that mimicked arms. "Nah, laddie. I aint' seen him anywhere. That black robed 'erson took 'em far from here!" He squinted at Sora, Donald, and Goofy. "Who are toes, Laddie? Intruders of tese here woods?"

Olivia shook her head. "No, they were actually looking for me! I appreciate the help, Sweet Sap Loggins!"

"Of course, laddie! Anything for the one who revived meh and tese woods!"

"Is it natural for trees to talk here?" Donald asked.

Olivia nodded. "Yes, actually."

"You don't look flat," Sora pointed out. "You look like origami."

She smiled, her eyes folding into upside-down v-shapes. "Yes! You see, my brother and I are actually origami. It's been one year since we were folded and well..."

"That means today's your birthday!" Sora said, clapping. "Happy birthday!"

Her face turned red. "Ooh, thank you." She shook the blush off. "What's your name? I don't want to keep introducing you as people who were looking for me."

"I'm Sora!"

"Donald Duck!" Donald said.

"And I'm Goofy!" Goofy introduced.

"Goofy? That fits, actually. You're pretty goofy-looking."

Goofy looked sad, and Sora pat him on the back. "Wait, the tree mentioned a blacked-robed person?"

Olivia nodded. "They say the Head Decorator was dragged away by a person wearing a black robe. They had a hood on, so nobody saw their face. If only I was there..." She sighed sadly.

"Don't worry!" Sora said, pumping his fist. "We'll help you find the Head Decorator!"

"Thank you!" Olivia smiled. "We should head back to Toad Town and ask Princess Peach if she's seen him anywhere."

"Sounds great! Let's go, guys!"

Author note: I had this story planned a while back when I first played Origami King, but scrapped it. Draco70 was going to make her own Kingdom Hearts crossover so I was like "why not?" and decided to revive the idea. (I mind you, it's VERY different than my first version, and better too.)
