Scattered to the Wind

no one would have guessed that the famed hero Natsuki Subaru could be the very person that charged with being the Archbishop of pride after the incident in Priestella

just like how no one would have guessed what had happened to him after everyone's names who had been eaten were returned. When they went to release him from his holding cell he was gone not a clue of where he could've gone or hid away

This greatly confused and frightened those who had known him or were familiar with him, They could only guess and speculate where he had hid away and gone.

Many were left heartbroken at his sudden disappearance within Luginca, Many could only speculate the hero of Priestella had either died or had completely vanished from this world as if he was never truly here in the first place, as if he was a mere fairytale that they told children.

this truly hurt deep inside of The kingdom of Lugunica, due to people questioning the competence of the knights and of the candidates and council of wise men to find one person

Everything in the Kingdom Of Lugunica right now we're getting worse and worse as time flies by.

The camps of the Candidates took it the hardest, Desperately trying to find the hero they had now lost and apologize to him for not believing him and not being there for him in his time of need.

The question right now that was on everybody's mind was were was he and if he was ok.

Changing POV

right now a boy with black raven hair and nasty colored eyes could be seen on the front lawn of a house just relaxing in the sunlight

This boy was named Natsuki Subaru, or better known as the Half Elf Knight and hero of Priestella was currently sitting drinking a fresh batch of Appa juice in the sun.

people would probably question why was the hero of Priestella just sitting around while many where scouring everywhere to find him. Well the simple answer is he gave up.

He was fed up with everyone and everything. One thing after Another to him fighting the bowel hunter in the Loot house to him having to stop a attack at the mansion to him to him having to fight the white whale and the sin archbishop of Sloth to him having to deal with the Great rabbit and with the witch cultists attack on Priestella.

Subaru Natuski was finally done after being accused of being the sin archbishop of Pride. He could remember everything his Ex Friends called him while he was in there "scum","Freak","Monster" and much more Disgusting crap.

Once Subaru had found an opportunity to flee the cell he was in he took it and fled to somewhere far away where no one would bother him and he could finally live in peace.

He didn't care about anyone anymore Not rem not Beatrice not Emilia not Garfield not Otto not Ram. He only cared for himself and his mental health and started putting his needs first before someone's else's needs.

Some would call it selfish to do such a thing but if they knew all the bullshit and Deaths he went through they wouldn't be speaking no one would.

Subaru knows about how his name has been restored, he has for a while now but he decided Emilia and the rest of Lugunica wasn't his problem anymore.

Or as he likes to put it "Not my circus Not my monkeys." He truly didn't care what anyone thought of him anymore, not the Emilia not Rem and certainly not the witches of sin.

to him they were all biased they didn't understand shit he went through sure everyone may suffer but not everyone suffering is the same. Some people have it way worse than others like himself. He honestly didn't care about wha happening in Lugunica right now it wasn't his problem, Nor did he care for the witch's of Sin he figured Echdina the Witch of greed was planning something but it wasn't his problem and he wasn't poke his nose into other people's problems like he should've been doing the first time he came to this fucked up fantasy world.

If it can even be called that, this world is more of hell from what he has experienced dying dozens of times.

but he didn't care about any of that right now he could finally relax and enjoy his new found freedom from people's problems.

a thought came into Subaru's head which caused him to frown a bit. When he and Satella had last met they hadn't ended on the best terms. More of him telling her he doesn't want to be involved anymore which he was sure she would understand and take away return by death.

but to his surprise she actually didn't care about whether he helped them or not she was just ok that he was safe. But she absolutely refused to take away the gift she gave him that was return by death. causing them to get into an argument turning into a screaming match of yelling lots of hurtful stuff at each other mostly on his part. Satella mostly rolled with the punches and stood her ground before he left.

Subaru wouldn't lie to himself he regretted his actions and how he treated Satella by calling her names

And being sarcastic with her yes, but he didn't not regret getting upset at her when he said he no longer wanted return by death which should've been completely his choice to keep or give up, it wasn't hers or nobody's else's no matter how much he appreciated that he had it in the past.

he was surprised Satella didn't just kill him with how much they were arguing back in fourth. He swore would apologize to her when he had gotten the chance, he wasn't really mad at her, he was more mad at himself more than anything for doing things the way he did.

He soon after dropped the thoughts of him and Satella's argument. He didn't want to think about it anymore before he started to feel more guilt than he should.

Right now though he was going to enjoy his freedom as long as he possibly could. He just hoped that no one would find him anytime soon.

I just did this for whatever ever reasoning I was planning for this just to be a one shot of me typing my frustration out as I try gain more ideas for more chapters for my other fics if you want this to be more than just a simple one shot I'll do more chapter for this as well. Cya later!
