Their Hope
Warnings
This is a rated M story, there are lemon scenes, swearing ect. Relations depicted include same sex couples, and relationships between members of the GAR, if you don't like, turn back now and don't read please. I will not put warnings before each chapter unless I feel it is needed, nothing is terrible explicit. This is an oc insert, and I mess with the timeline a little. Mentions death, though I'm not one for killing off named main characters. Also mentions of serious wounds, I mean it's a war they are fighting. Some characters may seem ooc but that's the way I like to write them, my interpretation of them. I welcome reviews and if you spot any mistakes please tell me, I have dyslexia and have no beta reader, so I sometimes miss things though I try very hard not to. I will try to update weekly-ish as best as I can. Aaaaaaannnnnd I think that's everything, thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you enjoy.
Prologue
Eighteen year old Alayah Carter, Allie to family and friends, sighs as she leans back in her hospice bed. Her auburn hair falling over her emerald green eyes, having just finished watching an episode of one of her favourite shows, Star Wars Clone Wars, the rishi moon one. Whilst her family are outside talking with a doctor about her cancer.
'So unfair what happens to you all' Allie thinks sadly, as the Domino squad are one of her favourites as well as the Batch, before sitting up as she begins a coughing fit.
'Oh baby girl' her mother rushes to her side 'just rest sweetheart, just rest.'
'It's okay mum,' Allie whispers gently, trying to reassure her mother with a soft smile. 'It doesn't really hurt anymore.' Her mother lets out a quiet sob, holding her hand as tightly as she can as Allie closes her eyes.
Allie opens her eyes once again, thinking she must be dreaming because she finds herself inside a temple, of some kind.
'Hello young one,' a kind, old sounding voice says, causing Allie to jump, looking around as she can't tell where the voice is coming from.
'Okay, this is either one hell of a dream, or I'm dead.'
'Dying young one, your heart has stopped, they are trying to bring you back,' the voice informs Allie.
'So you're God?' Allie questions, as she never really believed in God.
'No, I am the Force' Allie's eyes widen in disbelief at this statement and slowly lowers herself down, in fear she just might faint.
'I'm hallucinating, right?' Allie questions, to herself, causing the Force to laugh softly at her.
'No child, I am real and I am in need of your help. Do you think you could help my people? Do you think you could change things? Change the outcome of the Clone Wars,' the Force askes.
'I, I'm just me. I don't know what I could do but I would try. I would try for them,' Allie nods, knowing what fate awaits them if she doesn't.
'Pure of heart, soul and mind,' the Force says warmly. 'take the kyber crystals in front of you,' Allie raises her hands and does so slowly, as her hands close around the crystals, one turns orange, the other turning blue. 'Let me help you,' the crystals float from her hands, the Force taking them and building two lightsabres around them. Pure white but with gold engravings of irises, daffodils and bluebells.
'They are beautiful, thank you,' Allie whispers in awe as she takes hold of the sabres.
'Use them well. I will bestow upon you the knowledge of the Jedi who have gone before you. I will send a vision to tell Master Yoda of your arrival. I wish you luck, young one, and know if you ever need me, I shall be there. I'm sorry for the bumpy landing,' the Force laughs a little at Allie's confused expression until she blinks and finds herself no longer in the temple, but in a Jedi speeder going down.
'Oh Lord,' Allie can do nothing but hang on as the ship crash lands Force knows where.
