Xu Ze shook his head and laughed: "The final exam is approaching. If you have nothing to do, read more books. You don't need to score too high, but you need to have at least 60 points right?"
Hearing that the exam was about to take place, Zhou Xing's originally excited face collapsed. He stared at Xu Ze with mournful eyes: "We are still good friends if you stop mentioning the exam!"
"Then let's break up!" Xu Ze's smile deepened.
Zhou Xing was stunned before staring at Xu Ze: "Xu Ze, you've become bad."
After returning that day, Xu Ze mentioned the rumors about their cohabitation to Yang Yan. His meaning was that the two of them should try to avoid going in and out together in the future. Regarding Xu Ze's request, Yang Yan wanted to say no at the first moment. However, facing Xu Ze's clear and bright gaze, the words of refusal stopped in his throat. Yang Yan's reply could only be one, that was, nodding and saying ok.
After that, the rumors seemed to fade away slowly. Zhou Xing's feedback to Xu Ze was that Yang Yan and his new lover most likely broke up. Recently, Yang Yan was all by himself.
Xu Ze wondered why Zhou Xing was so concerned about Yang Yan's movements, and Zhou Xing said: "He's our school's school grass. You don't even know that the school also has a special fan club just for him, do you? Inside that club is full of his fans. Some people even take Yang Yan as the male lead and then write themselves talking about love with Yang Yan."

Zhou Xing glared at Xu Ze angrily: "What nonsense truth are you talking about?!"
Xu Ze shook his head, not bothering to pay attention to Zhou Xing, who was always full of drama.
No one in the school knew that Xu Ze and Yang Yan were together, so school life was simple and ordinary. Occasionally, on a classmate's birthday or other things, everyone would arrange to eat together. If they wanted to drink, Xu Ze would find an excuse. Everyone was classmates, so they would not force Xu Ze to drink.
However, in any place, any place outside, even if the indoor air conditioner is turned on, Xu Ze would not take off his down jacket. Because if he took it off, his slightly protruding belly would be exposed. One less problem was always better than one more.

So two dreams this week.
I was at a party at a restaurant that apparently my parents owned and worked at. This was a small 7-8 people party where we just ate food and didn't drink much.
Then when the party was finished, there were two cars to drive us back home. The younger juniors went on one car and the older seniors went on the other. Also, we're teenagers now for some reason.
Before we left my dad, the main cook, made some soup for everyone to take home. Not hangover soup, just normal soup.
As I made it home, I was the only person at my house. I'm guessing my parents still had to work? I found a note on the ground. As I went to pick it up, someone pushed me down from behind.
He started to ask me questions like "Where is [Something]" or "How do you [Something]". I don't remember the specifics. I answered back with "I don't know" and even wanted to know as well.
Then the person realized I actually didn't know anything and released me. As I turned around, I saw a very fit older man with a scar over his right eye and gray hair. I could basically see his muscles under his clothes. To put it short, he was hot. But unfortunately not my kind of hot, but still hot.
The person then started telling me about the 5 ancient creatures. The first was Entia(?), an ancient tree that I apparently knew was actually a dog. Then I woke up soon after. I don't remember the rest but they should relate to the 5 elements.
So this was a very long dream that took me some time to write down. This was a weird one, yet very interesting. Most likely because I did cool things in the dream, but still. Also, a warning that this dream gets dark at moments so be prepared for that.
To begin, I was a zombie that could shoot out strings from my hands. Basically zombie spiderman. I also have 4 other zombie friends that we hunt with.
What do we hunt? Of course humans! We hunt them down to eat. While I don't remember actually eating anyone, I still hope I wasn't a cannibal. I definitely still killed people in my dream though.
One time when we were hunting near a school, we were almost caught. But thankfully, I called another zombie friend of mine. Then soon, a school bus drove over to us.
The driver was a female zombie with stitches over her body. As my friends and I entered the bus, we saw that there were 10-20 little child zombies on the bus.
We drove around after we lost our pursuers. We stopped in the middle of nowhere when we saw people. Next to the road was a 6-9 group of gangsters huddling around a car. The driver zombie wanted to hunt, but I said that my friends and I will do the hunting as thanks for the help.
We got off the bus and were questioned by one of the gangsters. I didn't bother replying and rushed forward. I got right next to him in basically an instant and slit the gangster's throat.
Yeah… I may or may not have read too many action novels with death always involved.
Continuing on, I continued moving forward and shot out two strings, one from each hand, towards two of the gangsters. I pulled them up into the air then slammed them to the ground close to me. I finish them off, not slitting their throat this time.
As my friends took care of the gangsters, there was one left who started running away. I chased and killed them. However, there were people coming up the road.
My zombie friends and I rushed to the bus. One of my friends and I went to the car(it's there now, don't ask questions) in order to save time. It's also because I left some string there since I could reuse them. Even though I could magically produce them anyways.
I opened the front passenger door and scooted quickly to the driver's seat. I did some quick organizing as my friend sat in the front passenger seat. I leaned out the driver's window. I shot my string at the bus, wanting to use the bus to drive instead of actually driving. Unfortunately, The bus started too soon and I missed it.
Then, I sort of went back in time. I think I rewinded time to the point where I just killed the last guy. I have even more powers I guess.
This time I rushed faster and didn't bother organizing. I shot my string and it landed on the bus. Now comes a long driving period. The bus moved forward, pulling the car along. However, because it was on a string, the car kept crashing into things like rails and other cars.
Not only that, the string for some reason also started to stretch out. It's not breaking at all, since it's unbreakable I think, it's just stretched more and more. I had to keep pulling the string more and more in order for the car to keep up with the bus.
Once that mess ended, because none of us zombies actually ate, we decided to go to a rich people's party. We went and this time my friends and I suggested we go sneaky. We went with this plan as the driver and the children zombies waited behind.
We sneaked into the 15ish people party. I went and crawled the ceiling and looked down at everyone. One of my male zombie friends went in as a waiter. Now it was a view change focusing on the friend.
The friend went around giving people drinks that were drugged. However, one female drank it and got really drunk. The people at the party were suspicious of the friend, but they stopped when they saw that the friend drank it and was completely fine. They just thought that the female was weak at drinking.
The party continued and the friend continued passing around the drugged drinks. This time no one got drunk until every single one got to have a drink. Then the fun began.
The friend started to hypnotize everyone. Using the effects from the drugs, every person because a slave, a blood slave. They were ordered to live in an apartment(to help the environment I guess), continue working, and live their life like normal. The only other thing was to send them blood once in a while.
How you ask? Why, it's through a portal! The portal that one of my female zombie friends could make all this time!
The driver zombie was happy about the constant blood since this will at least satiate them partially. However, he still asked about flesh. I then told her to just wait. Then the portal opened and one of the people came out because that person broke through hypnosis.
So while that rich man broke through hypnosis, he was in his apartment that was filled with spiders of a variety of sizes. They were all over the floor, the wall, the ceiling, and all the furniture.
The man tried to escape while a really large spider chased after him. He then tripped and landed on a lot of little spiders, which then carried him to the portal. As the flashback(?) ended, I turned towards the children zombie and said, it's time to feast.
A time skip happened. We were now at a company that we decided to raid. However only I went in and the other went elsewhere, most likely to get more food.
After I got halfway through the company, I realized this company's security was really strong, as they sent waves of humans and robots with weapons to hunt me down. I was in too deep to leave, so I had to run around as the security hunted me everywhere.
I remember having to crawl through vents to save my life. One time I was in the vent, I hid right over the vent cover, wanting to leave immediately once the robot left the room. However, they were too smart. They opened the vent and shot at me. I rewinded time once again and fixed my mistake.
There was a part where I had to swing myself like spiderman around a floating, protrusion-like building out of the main one. I had to go back and forth, over and under the building to escape the chasers, I felt really cool during that part since I swung around in the air.
Finally, when I reached the top of the company and entered the room I needed to be in, I woke up. Yay.
This was a long dream to write out, being 1207 words in total for this one alone.

At ten o'clock in the evening, Xu Ze went back to his room, washed up, and went to sleep. When he lay down, he checked the time. It was half-past ten, yet Yang Yan hadn't returned.
In recent times, if there were no special circumstances, Yang Yan was always leaving late and returning early. Most of the time, he would come back before Xu Ze went to sleep. Xu Ze turned off the light and lay down. Some habits were very easy to form.
He closed his eyes and fell asleep. After an unknown amount of time, Xu Ze in a daze felt someone lying beside him.
Without opening his eyes, Xu Ze knew that it was Yang Yan based on the familiar smell from the other party.
Yang Yan didn't seem to have turned on the light. Since it wasn't on, Xu Ze didn't bother opening his eyes either. He turned over and lay down with his back toward Yang Yan.
Yang Yan thought that Xu Ze was asleep, so he tried his best to be careful. Yet in the end, he still woke Xu Ze up.
Slowly lying down, Yang stretched his arms around Xu Ze's body and pulled it over.
Xu Ze suddenly opened his eyes and stared at Yang Yan in front of his eyes. The latter didn't say a word, leaned up, and kissed Xu Ze's lips.
It was a very light kiss. Yang Yan immediately backed away after sticking it down. He then raised his head slightly and kissed Xu Ze's clean forehead. His eyes were gentle and lingered with affection.
Although Yang Yan had taken a bath and also rinsed his mouth, Xu Ze could still smell a little bit of alcohol. Under the status of being pregnant, he was very sensitive to the surrounding odors.
"You drank alcohol?" Because Xu Ze had just woken up, his voice sounded sticky, with a distinct nasal tone that made people's hearts throb.
Yang Yan nodded: "Drank a little, did I wake you up?"
"It's fine, I enter sleep fast." Xu Ze's sleep quality was good, basically, the type that can fall asleep after a short moment.

Xu Ze didn't care whether Yang Yan drank less or more. He yawned and the corners of his eyes were a little wet.
Yang Yan's gaze was fixated on Xu Ze's narrowed, brimming with water, peach blossom eyes.
"Let's sleep." Yang Yan pulled the quilt over him and Xu Ze. He even feared that there would be air pockets letting wind in, that he used his hand to press it down.
Seeing this little movement of Yang Yan's, Xu Ze didn't have any extra expression. He turned his eyes away, closed his eyes, and continued to sleep.
In the darkness, Yang Yan didn't close his eyes for a long time. Although he couldn't see Xu Ze's face clearly, the steady breathing sound from the other party fell in Yang Yan's ears. Those sounds made one's heart feel extremely calm and peaceful.
He did have sleepiness, but at this moment, Yang Yan didn't want to just fall asleep like this. With Xu Ze's warm body in his arms, Yang Yan just wanted this dark night to extend indefinitely.

Yang Yan occasionally also revised at home, though he doesn't have as much time as Xu Ze. Yang Yan belonged to the kind of people who were learning gods. Basically, he could remember everything as it was taught in class. He had no need to be like most other people, having to cram again before the exam.
The final exams were over. On the final day, the roommates from Xu Ze's dormitory and several other classmates arranged to go out to eat hot pot together.
When the group of people walked outside the school, a female voice suddenly called out to Xu Ze. Xu Ze stopped as with everyone else that was also quite curious. Everyone looked for the voice and saw a tall, handsome girl standing beside a flaming red sports car.
The girl was wearing a short, white down jacket. Inside was a beige sweater plus a deep gray short skirt. On her feet were a pair of black boots. When everyone's gazes went over, the girl walked closer with a smile on her face.
She walked straight toward Xu Ze then stood still right in front of him.
Zhong Min had watched photos or videos before, so she knew that the person who hooked Yang Yan was handsome. However, when she saw the real person, Zhong Min found that the photos could not fully show Xu Ze's prosperous beauty. When such a face was so close, Zhong Min even felt that her breathing seemed to slow down involuntarily, for fear that her breathing would be too rapid and disturb the other party.
"Xu Ze, who is this? Your friend?" Zhou Xing immediately came over from the side and asked. His gaze fell on Zhong Min's face, unable to hide his astonishment. Why didn't he know that Xu Ze knew such a beautiful woman like this? With this beauty, her standing beside Xu Ze would not be inferior.
"Hello, my name is Zhong Min." Zhong Min greeted Zhou Xing generously and her dyed smiling eyes also met with other people's eyes. After turning around, Zhong Min's eyes fell back to Xu Ze. When she looked at Xu Ze's peach blossom eyes that seemed to be swaying in spring, Zhong Min's had a sudden bit of change in her expression.

"You guys are planning to go out and eat together? You don't mind adding me as a plus right?" Zhong Min's smile was bright and moving. Even if some of the group had girlfriends, they couldn't help but stare at Zhong Min.
"Since you're Xu Ze's friend, then you're also our friend! Of course, we don't mind. We're planning to go and have hot pot. Can you eat spicy food?" Zhou Xing said.
"I can, I have no problem with spicy food." Zhong Min looked over at Xu Ze when she spoke. Xu Ze's expression was faint and she couldn't tell what he was currently thinking.
Zhong Min's unexpected addition made many single people a little excited. Even if it's just this one time, eating with such a beautiful person made them unable to calm down.
Someone came over and wanted to chat with Zhong Min, at least letting Zhong Min know his name. Seeing that Zhong Min took out her phone and seemed to want to contact someone, that person's footsteps paused. Zhou Xing who was next to him put his hand on the shoulder of his classmate, with meaning in his words: "What were you gonna do going over there? Are you gonna stand between those two people? The sudden appearance of Zhong Min was completely unexpected to Xu Ze. He probably never imagined that Yang Yan's suitor would come to meet him directly like this.
Wait, Xu Ze's eyes narrowed. He remembered that Zhong Min had just whispered to him in his ear that she was Yang Yan's former pursuer. According to the previous inferences, Zhong Min had pursued Yang Yan before, but she had failed to catch Yang Yan. Since it was former, does it mean that Zhong Min was no longer continuing to pursue Yang Yan anymore?
Since she wasn't pursuing him, why did Zhong Min find him here? Did she want to see what the person together with Yang Yan looked like? Xu Ze guessed that it was most likely this possibility.
Ah, poor Xu Ze. Still so innocent and clueless about your face. I'm surprised that none of his classmates confessed to him yet since he's so gorgeous.
So three dreams this week. All of them are rather short since I don't remember much of anything. However, this time, the first dream is dark I suppose. So I'm putting that as the third one.
So this dream was set in a magical world. I was a super Op wizard. I think I went to space and different planets, but I'm only 80% confident on this.
I remember an erupting volcano on another planet. I was with friends and a dino pet. I had to go into the lava after using a protective shield spell to… save the planet I guess?
There was a scene of a villain attacking my home kingdom/planet. It was a 1v1 fight. The knight on my side was losing to the villain. I couldn't help because I was on another planet. But then the knight's necklace glowed and I popped out. I think a clone of me was there to save the day.
That's it for that dream.
So I remember essentially nothing for this dream. Other than I was Op again and it being like a peaceful world, I can't really remember much.
I literally told myself when I woke up that: "Oh this is a fun dream. I better at least write the main plot points down so I can better remember it."
I grab my phone then get distracted for like three seconds and poof! I remember nothing. Yay.
So this one get dark. For me personally, I don't really think it was a big deal nor anything, to be honest.
I think of my dreams as interesting fiction, but that's it. They're completely fake. I don't think or ponder on them too much. That's why I think that I'm not really affected by those horror dreams.
Now that I state I'm completely fine and healthy psychologically, let me say some warnings about this very short part of the dream that I could remember.
This dream contains murder and maybe contain suicide with a heavy doubt. It's very stretched to say that it was suicide. I'll explain later.
So the dream I remember was that an assassin sneaked up behind me and killed me. I couldn't do anything as they slit my throat.
I could feel the knife as it plunged into my neck and sliced through to the side. I could feel my airways blocked and the knife slid across my flesh.
Thankfully, I couldn't feel pain in my dream, so all I felt was the weird sensation of the knife entering and slashing through my throat. It felt so weird in fact that I actually want to feel it again to remember exactly how it felt like.
Now, I'm saying this might be suicide since my dream is technically me. So my dream killing me is technically me killing me, aka suicide. It's a bit of a stretch like I said, but still.
So before I end this, let me say again that I'm completely fine. I'm feeling great and happy with my life. This is just one of those random dreams that pop up once in a while.
So don't feel worried about me and take this as a, I don't know, weird not really funny joke of some sort. That's all.

I do want to have that dream again though. I really want to feel that weird sensation again for some reason. But only in my dream! I hate pain. Like a lot.

Zhong Min just told Yang Yan that she was with Xu Ze, making Yang Yan's tone suddenly turn colder.
She only heard Yang Yan's voice that was like frost wrapping around to freeze someone: "Zhong Min, what do you want to do?" These words were hiding warnings and threats.
Zhong Min heard them, but she was not the least bit afraid. Other people might be afraid of Yang Yan, but she would not.
"I don't, what can I do? Relax, how would I dare to hurt your baby? Yang Yan, I remember that I seemed to have said a certain sentence to you last time we met. Can you guess which one?" Zhong Min asked Yang Yan with a smile.
The corners of Yang Yan's mouth almost pursed into a straight line. He remained silent on his side, not replying with even a single word.
As if knowing that Yang Yan would not reply, Zhong Min didn't plan to wait for Yang Yan to actually remember it. It could be guessed that the other party basically forgot everything they had talked about.
"I told you at the beginning that I like love at first sight because it's beautiful and romantic."
Zhong Min raised her chin slightly as she looked to the side at Xu Ze who was walking beside her. The face that was beautiful and unparalleled from 360-degree made Zhong Min feel that no matter how long she looked at this face, she would never get tired of it.

"Do I need your permission?" Zhong Min asked.
"No need, but I can give you a reminder. He won't like you." Yang Yan originally had a fire in his heart. There was a Xie Chengzhou in front of him and now there was another Zhong Min. One then two wanted to take someone from him.
For Xie Chengzhou, Yang Yan did feel a little bit of a crisis, but later Yang Yan thought about it carefully. Judging from the sleeps he and Xu Ze had, Xu Ze's body could not leave him. He was Xu Ze's first man. Xu Ze could not-like him, but Xu Ze's body had a dependency on him.
Yang Yan gradually realized a point. He didn't need to care about other people at all because Xu Ze was pregnant with his child. No one else could compete with him on this point. Whether or not Zhong Min was pursuing Xu Ze, Xu Ze right now was living with him and sleeping in the same bed with him.

Xu Ze glanced sideways at Zhong Min. It seemed that the smile on Zhong Min's face was thicker than before.
He thought that Zhong Min might say something to him, but Zhong Min didn't say anything. Yet it gave Xu Ze a vague sense of familiarity. The gaze Zhong Min was staring at him with was familiar.
When they got to the place where they were going to eat, Zhong Min and Xu Ze sat together. Everyone thought that Zhong Min really knew Xu Ze and was a friend of Xu Ze, so no one thought something was wrong when they saw them sitting together. How could they guess that this was the first meeting between Xu Ze and Zhong Min?

So I had so many dreams this week. Unfortunately, I barely remember anything.
For one dream I remember a green crocodile/alligator and a white bunny. Another I remember feeling, and I mean feeling, something licking my face. I hope it was a dog and nothing else.
Other than those two, I remember the two more a lot more clearly.
So I was in a death tournament island. But I(my dream MC) was clueless and didn't know that. There were 3 rounds of elimination. I don't remember the first or third, but I remember chugging stats potions for the second round.
I was the winner obviously. I get to have one wish granted. There was also apparently a camera with a lot of audience watching. I asked to put it aside first to ask some questions.
I asked if I could get infinite wishes, they said no. I asked if I could get government protection for some reason, they also said no. Then I see a while cat/dog that I actually know was a dragon for some reason.
I then wished to become its owner and take him away. I got another no since the dragon had to stay here. I then wished to be its caretaker and also stay here.
Then the camera stopped recording as I became a personnel. I received a tour of the institution of the island. Then I was sent to my room. I also got to pet the dragon before it left.
I was left alone and felt excited as I rolled around in my bed. Then I looked left and saw a white, albino, top-less human. I think it was the dragon, but I don't remember what the head looked like.
Then suddenly, an outbreak happened. A creature came to me and I dealt with it. When I turned the dragon(?) was nowhere to be seen. I then wake up. This one had a weird yet followable plotline.
I was a blue ball? I think this was a game where I had to control myself moving around on floating platforms as I jumped/bounced on them. I was escaping from something, a large red ball(?), until I fought and defeated it near the end.
I remember one point where there were two doors that I had to choose to go through. However, one was locked and barred if I was slow. I had to reset the level and go there fast enough to enter. However, that red door was a trap. The other blue opened door was the right one.
I think there might have been a co-op part, but other than that, this is all I really remember about this really long dream.

So I had more dreams but remember none. I think I had a live-through-a-day dream again, but I'm not too sure. I do have a dream I remember clearly and wrote the key points down, but I'll be including that in the next chapter. I don't have enough time to write out every part of that dream.
I have a very bad habit of falling into rabbit holes.

When Yang Yan returned home, he didn't see Xu Ze in the living room. Yang Yan knew that Xu Ze had already returned to his room. He walked to the living room and sat on the sofa. On the coffee table was a cup of water, with the water inside being poured from this morning. After Yang Yan drank it in one go, the cold water fell all the way down the throat to his heart, as if it had drenched his heart cold.
Yang Yan bent his fingers then spread them again, only feeling a sense of powerlessness all over his body. That powerlessness bred another kind of violent feeling, as if he wanted to destroy and ruin something.

After washing up on the second floor, Yang Yan went downstairs. Pushing open the door of Xu Ze's room, Xu Ze was leaning on the head of the bed and was reading a book. Xu Ze's quietness comforted Yang Yan's dry, pounding heart to a certain extent.

So two long dreams, one from last week and one from this week. But I only had time to write out last week's. I'm very bad at time management. This week's dream will be left for next week's chapter.
So another dream about a VR game, but this time it connects to reality.
It started with me looking at the rubbles of a city. Then it cut to a girl live streaming with her phone on another standing building. Then the girl turned into a giant and then walked to a place, where she was then preceded to be shot by multiple helicopters.
Then the girl turned small into human-sized and into a boy. I'm guessing it was a crossing dressing boy for whatever reason.
It then cuts back to me being hunted by a lot of people. Then I regressed in time. Very original, I know. I got stronger and helped free my friend at one point.
There was also a grading scale, with 10 as worst, then to 1. And then there were special + which were just +1 +2 +3, etc. Very weird system if I had to say so myself.
I entered a cavern that my friend entered in my previous life. I got some rewards for surviving the traps. I adventured for a while then my friend and I were chased down by top players and forced to fight in a battle. We were at grade 5 power and my friend was also the one that's most heavily hunted down by other people.
I returned to the cavern and talked to the dragon(?) owner dude that was definitely always there. He allowed me to capture 5 of what he considered grade 2 power black armored servants into my magic missile. It's like pokemon now I guess? I replied with in the outside world they were closer to special +2.
My friend entered the bottom of the cavern that was always there, with the hunting group behind him. I exited the room and my pet, that I always had, told me that my friend was right below me.
I used a skill that broke the floor and the rubbles killed everyone. My friend was still alive under the rubbles and asked me to pull him out, but I couldn't because I lost my entire lower body.
That was a roller coaster.
Anyways, I used an event item that I stack a lot on, which were 98987 of [Springs], which heals me for 10 of everything, health, mana, fatigue, etc.I healed myself and helped my friend. We exited the cavern and my friend got a new class, [Freedom warrior].
I say that's the worst class, with the worst buffs, because it required 3 items to activate and my friend only had two. I, the character me not the omnipotent me, also did not know that this would be very helpful in the future.
Then a huge time skip happened. My friend was giant again. I say again because he was that girl changing into giant then boy in the beginning of the dream. I am just as confused.
So this time, no one was attacking him. My other friend, who was actually a girl, asked me if he'll be fine and I said probably.
A flashback happened. It was my male friend training on the treadmill with me and the female friend telling him to push onwards, until we went too far. His head became empty with nothing but training after we left him for a while. I then helped him return to normal but lingering effects were still there.
I then woke up. I don't know what really happened, but things certainly did happen. I think I made the crossdressing guy from my last life into a dumb himbo in this life. Not really complaining though.

During the short time waiting for the train, Xu Ze glanced at the little baby several times.
The train began to check tickets and the passengers in the queue slowly moved forward.
Taking the escalator and going downstairs, the ticket information was sent to his phone. Xu Ze dragged the luggage in one hand and held his phone in the other, comparing the numbers to find his section of the carriage.
After getting on the train, he looked for his seat from the back to the front. After finding it, Xu Ze sat on as he put his suitcase under the iron frame. He especially bought the seat against the window, so this way he doesn't have to get up to let another person in later.
The train departed very soon. Compared to most of the travelers returning home, Xu Ze didn't feel much of anything. For him, coming home for the New Year was almost like completing a task.
The train took more than an hour to arrive at Xu Ze's hometown. When he got off the train, Xu Ze did not go to the bus station, but went outside and called a taxi. After buying the apartment, he still had a couple hundred thousands left of the money Yang Yan gave him. Xu Ze lived at Yang Yan's place so Yang Yan took care of all the expenses. It could be said that Xu Ze spent very little time spending his money to buy things.
Getting into the car taking home, the scenery outside the car window was both familiar and unfamiliar to Xu Ze. Familiar because he had the original host's memory, unfamiliar because it's his first time coming to this city.

It seemed that more and more people were setting off fireworks. There were sounds of fireworks exploding everywhere. Since it was not early nor was Xu Ze feeling sleepy, Xu Ze walked out of the room.
He notified his parents, "I am going outside to watch the fireworks."
The parents nodded and their gazes returned to the TV. Even if there were people in this room, it seemed deserted and cold. Xu Ze had no expectations or feelings for this place in his heart.
Walking to the door, Xu Ze changed his shoes. When he opened the door, Xu Ze seemed to remember something. He turned around and went back to his room, where he found a scarf for his neck. As soon as the scarf was put on, his whole neck seemed to warm up immediately.

First I was out in the streets. I walked by a game stand and I wanted to play. After I paid, I was teleported to a black colored room with a white door. I opened the door to see a spiraling staircase with more doors as it went down.
I walked down and down as I suddenly felt like something was chasing me from up the staircase. I tried to open the doors to see that some were locked while others had creatures inside. With one creature, I cut off its hand with the door and slammed it close.
Another door contained darkness. It was like a black goo that tried to spread everywhere. Unfortunately this wasn't Goo from my previous dream. This creature was just pure darkness. I felt that it was trying to devour everything, including me.
Anyways, I had to run. It did kill the thing that was chasing me, but the darkness was now the one chasing me now. I tried to open doors to slow dark down with the monsters, which worked a little but not too much.
I began to just slide down by the railings until I reached the bottom. I opened the last door and a hallway greeted me. I rushed forward and saw three doors, one front, one left, and one right. I opened the right door and rushed in because the darkness was still chasing me.
After entering, there were a lot of doors to the left and a door at the end. None of the doors on the left could open so I went for the last door to find it's also locked. The darkness was right behind so I dodged to the side. Then for no reason at all. There was an explosion and the door opened.
I went in and saw three clown puppets in the room. There was also a broken table. The thought of breaking their ankle came to my mind, like it was an instruction or something. I broke all three clown puppets' ankles with a wooden table leg then a black hole opened.
The darkness burst in and I threw the stick at the darkness before jumping in. Then it was like a slide. I slid for a while until I reached the end.
I was laying down in a half slide tube and saw the game accountant standing over me. They congratulated me for my success. I was then told I had 1056 points to pick from the prize. I looked at the prize list with images. I saw those were mostly just toys like water guns, there was even a hello kitty one.
While I was undecided on the prize, one of my IRL friends appeared in my dream. They came up and told the game worker they wanted to play too. They paid and the POV changed to theirs in first person. If I had to summarize things, they were a pro. If what I did was a 2/10, they were definitely a 10/10.
First they rushed through everything like a pro. They opened every door on the spiral staircase doors with force. One had a secret room that she went through. This was of course while the darkness was chasing them.
When they reached the hallway with three doors, they went to the front door which was basically a turning hallway that led to the left door. After blazing through those, my friend went to the right rooms through a hidden passage. They opened all the doors and then did the same as me.
When they finished sliding down the slide, they were told they had 10000 points and the game workers were finally set free. Then my friend and I left in their car.
I don't remember the rest, aka the other 2 thirds of my dream. I think I went to a magic academy and tamed a dragon, but I'm not too sure. I feel like I did some cool things.

The matter of leaning over to kiss Xu Ze, Yang Yan only thought about it in his heart and wouldn't put it into action. There were people coming and going around them. Although the two of them were not standing in the middle of the road, in the short moment that Yang Yan pulled Xu Ze's hand, there were already pedestrians on the road that noticed them.
Although Yang Yan missed the warmth of Xu Ze's skin, he still slowly released his hand.

When he got home, Auntie Dong was already there. She helped drag the suitcase to the bedroom. Xu Ze said a belated Happy New Year to Auntie Dong after she came out of the bedroom. Auntie Dong smiled very lovingly. In Auntie Dong's eyes, she treated Xu Ze as a junior.
Xu Ze had been in the car for several hours so he didn't unpack his luggage immediately. He first went to his room to change into comfortable clothes, and then sat down on the living room sofa to rest.

Walking out of the baby room, Xu Ze slowly exhaled. He went back to his room on the grounds that he was a little sleepy.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, Xu Ze lowered his eyes and stared at his bulging belly. Xu Ze said in his heart to the baby, "It seems that your father will love you very much."
The baby was sleeping, lying inside quietly.

Just 2 more split chapters until Chapter 31, the one where the baby will finally be born. So close yet so far.

Anyways, two very short dreams this week:
So there were lizards involved, which might be because of the nature doc I watched. The focus, however, was more… mature or scientific to put it in a better term. Since this is about science, I don't think I need to age restrict this. But I still won't say much just to be safe.
There are two parts that I remember vividly. One is my hands feeling warm and covered with liquids, and the other being lizard reproductive organs.
I remember basically nothing else, or that I have already purged them from my mind.
I have two guesses of what the dream actually was. Either I was dissecting the lizards and feeling their blood, or the other r18 version.
I don't like either option. I think I need help.
I don't really remember much about this one. There were Pokémon elements involved somehow, like catching things. There was also Midas in my dream, don't know why. I think I had the golden touch, though I didn't turn anyone into gold.

Knowing that Xu Ze returned home, Yang Yan quickly drove back after eating dinner that night. As soon as he opened the door and found that there was no one in the living room, Yang Yan's heart felt empty. Then Auntie Dong came out and told Yang Yan that Xu Ze was reading in his room.
Yang Yan nodded, then opened the door of Xu Ze's bedroom.
Three days have passed since the last night they met, yet Yang Yan seemed to feel that it was not only three days, but three months or even longer.
He walked into the room and to the front of Xu Ze.
Xu Ze put down the book as he raised his head to look at Yang Yan. The expression in this person's eyes seemed to be getting stronger day by day. The tide seemed as if it wanted to drown someone.
Xu Ze curled his lips and smiled: "I went to see the baby room. It's pretty good, the baby will definitely like it."
Yang Yan's eyes flickered as he said, "In two days let's go to the hospital for another checkup." Because of New Year, the monthly obstetric checkup was postponed. Now that Xu Ze was back, they should go to check it out.

His eyes were indifferent, yet there was some kind of attitude of superiority in them. He looked at the other two. Wanting to compete with him, no one was qualified to.
Xu Ze glanced at Yang Yan's expression in the corner of his eyes. He said in his heart childish, but he didn't say anything out loud. He slowly ate the food that Yang Yan got for him.
After this meal, Xu Ze was full. As for whether the other people were full, he didn't know nor would he go and ask. It had no relation to him.
After eating, they parted with Xie Chengzhou and Jiang Li on the side of the road. Xu Ze got into Yang Yan's car.
In the car, Yang Yan looked ahead but asked Xu Ze if there was any place he wanted to travel to. It just so happened that he had a lot of time recently, so he could accompany Xu Ze to go around.
These few days, Xu Ze had mostly stayed at home. The temperature was cold, so he didn't want to go outside. When he was at home, he mostly sat on the sofa with a blanket on his lap.

Two very long dreams this week.
So this dream was like a combination of a bunch of stuff. There was Overgear, a great VR-game manhwa, Minecraft, and a few other miscellaneous things.
This was a very long dream, so what I basically retained were like fragments, the final quest, and the part right before I woke up.
The background of this dream was an RPG VR game with star ranks, 1-star for the worst, and 6-star for the best.
I am guessing on the 6-star since I don't remember any mentions of it, but usually, in games, there are the ranks, common, uncommon, rare, unique, legendary, and mythical. They also correspond with 6 colors respectively, white, green, blue, purple, gold, and red.
Now with the game ranks out of the way, there are also classes in the game. I obviously got the best one, a mythical rank. I don't remember the name, but how it functioned was basically the same as Pagma's Successor in Overgeared.
It's a blacksmith class where you gain stats points depending on the rank of the equipment you crafted. I also ignore all restrictions on equipment, meaning I could wear everything but with a penalty of course.
Out of the fragments I remember, I joined a guild and became one of the top players. Another was that the game was recently released, meaning everyone was still at an early level.
Then the final quest I remember was helping what I think was a priest in a dark cave. This quest was really hard so I called my guild members to help out while I focused on protecting the priest. I'm pretty sure I just sat on the sideline and didn't do much.
After the quest was done, everyone got a small reward for contributing to the quest. I received the main reward, a full 5-star set of equipment. During this time the highest was 4-star equipment that I crafted, so this was the first-ever legendary equipment and it was even a full set of one.
So in secret, I switched out my current 4-star pure white iron armor, to the new 5-star golden armor. There was an option in the game to change your current set's look so I changed it back to the previous 4-star armor. I also hid the viewing option, so only I could see its information.
This was because people, even the ones in my guild, would get jealous and become greedy for the first legendary set of equipment.
After all that, I called some of my friends and went to a place. The game suddenly changed to Minecraft and we came in front of a blue, prismarine pyramid. We walked into it and walked to the center.
There was a hole in the center which then I jumped into. I started to fly with my elytra down the hole. What I saw was water in the beginning then was what seemed to be infinite bookcases and enchanting tables.
During the middle of that, I woke up. The beginning of this dream was fun but the last part was just confusing. Why did it change to Minecraft of all things?
This dream was also very long and I could only remember fragments and two scenes in the dream, one being near the end and the other being the final part.
This was a dungeon invasion manhwa. A few examples are Solo Leveling and Omniscient Reader.
It's basically where portals are called dungeons in which monsters travel to earth. There are hunters that have skills and stuff that fight and protect the earth from those monsters. In my dream, there were also gods, so I think it's closer to Omniscient Reader.
There was a ranking system of your power, stages 1-10. Stage 1 was normal humans, while Stage 7 was God. I don't know what Stages 8-10 are, but they're probably very strong.
From what I remember, I was a solo, lone-wolf, op person again. I also had relationships with the God of the Sun and God of the Moon for some reason. I also had a very close best friend.
Now for the first scene, I remember being in a hotel-like building with 15 children. It was protected by the God of the Moon, who was, let's just say, a very good-looking lady. I was staying there because there were hunters outside hunting me down.
But at some point, I decided to leave, but the God of the Moon stopped me. We argued and the God of the Moon mentioned my previous lover. I analyzed based on the fragments that I remember and I believed the God of the Sun was my ex-lover. Also, their gender was never specified, and by the way the God of Moon was talking, they're probably dead.
Anyways, to convince the God of the Moon to let me out, I kissed her. I don't know why, but my dream self did that. The God of the Moon was convinced after talking a little longer, and she also made me the successor, making me the next God of the Moon.
After that, I left the building, and apparently, I could control when it was day and night now. I could move the sun and moon to change it to wherever time it was. This also made me think that I'm also the successor to the God of the Sun, which makes kissing the God of the Moon even weirder.
Then came a part about a car, which has so much happening that I'm giving up on explaining it. Just know that the car door functioned weird and that I hit my IRL sister in the head in my dream for reasons.
Now for the last scene that I remember. It was the final fight of earth against the monsters. While they were fighting, I traveled to the god's realm to truly become the God of the Sun and the Moon. Also, I'm guessing the God of the Moon died too.
After doing the trail and what was needed, I talked to the system that controlled everything. There was a reward, a wish that could grant anything to the strongest person that survived the final fight.
I told my wish to it in advance, cause I know that I was the strongest. The wish was to turn back time to before the dungeons ever began and have Earth permanently exit this game.
After that, I left the God's realm and joined the final battle. My best friend was there fighting too. We fought well and defeated every last monster. Then a Stage 7 God showed up and congratulated us.
I walked forward and basically said something along the lines of, "F*ck you and all the Gods watching. After beating this I will come for your lives. Prepare to die."
The God present laughed at what I could do. Even if it was just one stage apart, we were ranked at Stage 6. It was impossible for me to beat him.
Then I revealed my divinity, the Sun and the Moon. there were like a golden sun and white moon lines behind my head. However, I was still Stage 6, right at the edge of being Stage 7, because I just received them.
The God still mocked me, though still impressed by me having two of the divinity. I then revealed the item I received from the trail in the God's realm.
It was the Scroll Of Day And Night. Its effects were that any of my summons would become one Stage higher than my own, becoming a Stage 7.
I then obviously summoned a bunch and killed that God. After that, I warned the Gods watching that I'm coming for them before my wish came into effect.
I returned to the past but I had to leave my family. I exited Earth and created a protective barrier around it. Then the POV changed to farmland. It was my best friend. Take a guess at what's gonna happen next!
My best friend had a skill that let him also remember what happened. He shouted out loud into the sky that I also somehow heard from space. My best friend wanted to join me and I agreed. We then began on our journey to kill the Gods.
I woke up and the dream ended like that. And yeah, I am shipping my dream self with that best friend. I still don't know what the ex-lover God of the Sun was nor why I kissed the God of the Moon. That was very weird and I think I might be Bi.
