The next morning, Teams RWBY, JNPR, CRDL, CFVY, SSSN, ABRN, NDGO, BRNZ, and FNKI arrived at Weiss's office on the top floor in the SDC building. Roman and Adam walked in with them and the former of the two immediately began to look for a strong bottle of booze.

"Put him through hell for being beaten by Lapis?" Yang asked Ruby in a whisper.

"Yep. And he has to hit up every Dust shop in the Kingdom over the next few weeks." Ruby replied in a whisper.

Four chairs were set up, each one colored to match Team RWBY and said team sat in the chairs that matched their color. Jaune, Cardin, Coco, and Roman stood behind Ruby's chair, Pyrrha and Neptune stood behind Weiss's chair, Sun, Velvet, Neon, and Adam stood behind Blake's chair while the others stood behind Yang's chair.

They all then got ready to watch initiation.

At Beacon, the first years were waking up, eating breakfast, then preparing for initiation. They arrived at Beacon Cliff and were split into groups. Lapis' group was with Professors Selene and Rainart.

"You have trained for years to become warriors. Your abilities will be evaluated today in the Emerald Forest." Selene said.

"Many of you have heard about rumors of team assignments. This will help end that confusion. You will each be given teammates today." Hazel said

"These teammates will be at your side for your time here. Pair with someone you can work well with." Selene added. "First person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years here at this school."

"This'll be sweet." Mercury smirked.

"After partnering up, go to the northern end of the forest, destroying any opposition in your path along the way, to an abandoned temple containing relics, one relic per pair. Bring that relic to the top of the cliff. You will be monitored during your initiation, but none of your instructors will intervene. Questions?" Selene finished up but nobody spoke. "Good. Ready positions."

Everyone stood ready as the platforms launched them all into the forest one by one.

"And here we go." Yang smirked.

"I already see quite a bit of potential among this crop of first years." Weiss said.

Blake and Ruby chose to say nothing, keeping a close eye on Lapis as they saw her landing strategy using a slide she made of ice Dust.

Cinder tied a rope around one of her arrows and one end to her bow then fired the arrow at a tree. She then swung close to the ground before getting free and rolling on the ground before putting Mightnight, her twin swords, and her arrow away then running.

Mercury used his boots to help him with his saying it was too easy as he took to running fast.

Emerald used her weapon, Thief's Respite, as a pair of kusarigama to swing to the ground.

Neo used her parasol, Hush, to glide down to the ground.

Simin Megistus used his jacket, Kore Kosmou, to make an ice slide down to the ground.

After using branches to get lower, Vella Moisia simply used a glyph and allowed it to pull her to the ground.

Lycan Arcadia, a wolf Faunus, used his weapon, Razorbolt, as claws to spin down a tree.

Ragora Cinarum used her weapon, Hexentanz, in its glaive form to do a couple flips on a branch before landing on the ground and running.

Ember used Cinder's strategy to make it down while Magenta mirrored Neo's strategy.

Onyx simply used her Semblance and disappeared into a shadow before appearing on the ground and heading north.

And so began initiation for these future Huntsmen and Huntresses.

"Pyrrha..." Weiss started.

"Already on it, Weiss." The green eyed girl said. "The girl with the twin swords is Cinder Fall. An orphan who was adopted by the owner of the Glass Unicorn hotel in Atlas. Met a Huntsman there named Rhodes who taught her how to fight. When he died from a Grimm, she was taken by...Raven Branwen and taught her to be a Beacon level Huntress."

Yang's eyes turned red. "So, Mommy Dearest took her in but walked out on me and Tai?" She thought aloud, not calling Taiyang her father anymore.

Blake placed a hand in her wife's. "Don't forget. She made her choice, dear."

"The gray haired boy is Mercury Black, son of the late assassin, Marcus Black. Marcus trained him from a young age to be an assassin like him." Pyrrha continued.

"The Suns could always use someone of that skill." Nora said.

Yang hummed in acknowledgement.

"The red eyed girl is Emerald Sustrai. She's said to be the stealthiest person on Remnant." Pyrrha said.

"I remember her." Sun said then turned to Blake. "I led some of our troops through her village shortly after our graduation. The Lieutenant made her an orphan."

Blake nodded. "So not much chance of her wanting to join our collective." She said.

"The girl with the parasol is Trivia Vanille." Pyrrha said and Ruby sat up straight.

"Her father handles a few things for me on occasion." Ruby said.

"Makes me wonder what kind of dirt you have on him, sis." Yang smirked.

"The boy with the lavender jacket is Simin Megistus. He's a skilled hand to hand combatant and the device in his jacket uses Air, Water, Earth, and Fire Dust to help him make a variety of weapons." Pyrrha said. "The Faunus is Lycan Arcadia. His bracers allow him to use seemingly limitless disposal knives either as such or as claws."

"Simin could be useful for the Suns." Blake observed.

"Same for Lycan with the White Fang." Yang added.

"The girl with the tethering glyphs is Vella Moisia. Her weapon is Chatareus, a rifle that can be used as a bow and use Dust cartridges similar to the ones Ruby uses, in addition to special cartridges that work with her Semblance." Pyrrha continued. "The girl with the witch hat is Ragora Cinarum. Her weapon is Hexentanz, a shotgun that transforms into a glaive and her Semblance allows her to summon a familiar to aid her in combat."

"Sounds fierce." Neptune said.

"The other two Faunus we saw are Ember Gold and Magenta Magnolia, from Vacuo and Atlas respectively." Pyrrha said. "Ember's weapon changes between a spear and a longbow while Magenta's changes between a dual bladed naginata and a crossbow. Their respective Semblances let them make copies and take on anyone's appearance."

"All in all, a power group so far." Jaune said.

"We'll see." Ruby said as they watched the initiation.
