At the the private residence of billionaire philanthropist Anthony Edward 'Tony' Stark also known to the world as 'Iron Man', that was located on a sea-side cliff along the coast of Malibu. The mansion was highly technologically integrated and was wired by Tony so that it could be run by his personal A.I. assistant, J.A.R.V.I.S. which was an acronym (Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) and it was where Tony was currently watching the news feds of 'Superman' that were showing him flying around the world helping those in need which was a good thing however at the same time it was also making many people nervous at the level of power that Superman possesses as no one knows anything knows about him other then seemingly nothing can stop him and it's making many people in multiple governments worry that what if he decides to take control over the world who would be able to stop him?.

Just then Virginia 'Pepper' Potts was walking down to lower levels of the mansion where Tony's man cave or as he likes to call it his 'workshop' was located and where she found him and Pepper's view it was clear that Tony had been in his work mode for the last two weeks since he suggested that maybe they should rename Stark Industries so that whenever someone talks about their company they wouldn't think about how Stark Industries use to make weapons but before they could wonder what they should rename Stark Industries to he then received multiple calls from people all asking him about something or about a certain someone that wears a blue suit with a red cape and a S on their chest. Pepper of course had heard all about Superman who media have also called him a few other things, the polite ones were mainly 'The Man of Steel', 'The God of Strength' and 'The Guardian Angel' however there were also people who were also calling him a 'Ticking Time Bomb' and 'The Greatest threat to the world' all out of fear which was a reason why a few generals like General Thaddeus E. 'Thunderbolt' Ross had called her as she was the new CEO of Stark Industries after all and they practically beg her to get Stark Industries and Tony to start making weapons again in order to use to fight against Superman if he ever goes against the world.

However she also suspect that they wanted to use the weapons to capture Superman and force him to work for them to use against their enemies or to study him so they could understand how his powers work so they could replicate them as she knew that this wasn't the first time General Ross wanted a super weapon under his control like with Doctor Bruce Banner who is a renowned scientist that was highly respected for his work in biochemistry, nuclear physics and gamma radiation and he was tasked by Ross to recreate the Super Soldier Serum that transform Steve Rogers into Captain America however instead he ended up turning himself into a huge, rage-fueled, primitive-minded creature known as 'The Hulk' and afterwards he went on the run from the United States Army and Ross who wanted to turn Banner into a weapon and they ended up turning the special-ops commander Emil Blonsky into what news called him the 'Abomination' and he went on a rampage in Harlem until he was defeated by the Hulk.

"Tony" Pepper called out as she started walking over to Tony's desk trying to get his attention, however, he remained oblivious to her, focusing solely on something on his screens. "TONY!" Pepper calls out louder causing Tony to nearly jump out of his chair.

"Oh Pepper what are you doing? Don't you have a meeting in New York to choose the designs of the floors for Stark tower?" Tony questioned as he blinked and looked up at Pepper as if she had just suddenly appeared standing next to him.

"Tony it's Tuesday, I finished the designs three days ago didn't you get any of my messages?" Pepper asked while raising her eyebrows at Tony who looked at his phone and saw that he had missed multiple calls and had unread texts.

"Oh you already did, that is great!" Tony said with a grin as he stood up and placed his hands on Pepper's arms affectionately and place a kiss on her cheek "Tell you what just give me half an hour to get ready while you slip into something and I'll take you to that restaurant you like on the beach and you can tell me everything" Tony finished with a smile however he wasn't fooling Pepper.

"Tony what have you been doing down here?" Pepper asks, narrowing her eyes at him causing Tony to only sign in defeat.

Tony then turned back to the screen and pressed a small button on his desk that caused the display that showed his Iron Man suits to become active. A whirling of gears could be heard as the floor opened up revealing a new suit that Pepper hadn't seen before rose out of the ground, unlike the previous models which were red and gold, this new armor was a deep crimson red and silver, it had sharper shoulder pads and similar to the armor that Tony had built after he had created a new element which he had wanted to name Badassium but instead it was called Starkium featured a triangular shaped Unibeam together on it's chest piece however it was different from any other Arc Reactor that Pepper had seen and she knew that Tony was working on a way to enhance the Arc Reactor to make it even more powerful and she could guess that he had managed to figure it out meaning it will have far more energy to use for Tony's repulsors.

(It's the Silver Centurion armor that Iron Man had in the comics, it was the most advanced for its time featuring enhanced strength, improved flight, and upgraded repulsors and it's unique looking so i thought why not use it in this story however i know it technically in Iron Man 3 during the final fight with the other armors however that version didn't look exactly the same so it still works here)

"Tony what is this?" Pepper asks curiously.

"This here Pepper is what i call the Silver Centurion Armor and it's my most advanced suit that I have ever created yet featuring enhanced strength, improved flight, upgraded repulsors along with a greatly enhance Arc Reactor meaning not only will my repulsors have more juice but they are far more stronger and refine" Tony said as his eyes drifted towards one of his screens "And it's going to help me if the worse comes to happen" said Tony.

Pepper looked at the screen that Tony was looking at and her eyes immediately widened realizing who exactly Tony had built the armor to go up against.

"Superman! Tony why the hell did you make a suit to fight Superman! Have you seen the kind of things he's capable of doing?" Pepper asks in shock at what Tony was planning on doing.

"That's exactly why i built it, Pepper when i reveal to the world that i was Iron Man, people were and still are worried about me having this kind of technology but without it i'm just like everyone else and should anyone else wears it they would have all the power that i have just like with Rhodey but with him it's a completely different story, he doesn't wear a suit of armor like me and Rhodey, he just has that level of power which makes him unstoppable and unlike me nobody knows anything about the guy, someone with that kind of power that he has is dangerous and not knowing anything about him even more so! We need to know who exactly is he" Tony explained.

"Even if you want to go and fight him, how are you going to find him? He can be anywhere on the planet and by the time you fly over there he could be at the opposite side of the world?" Pepper asks as she had seen on the news how fast Superman can fly as he could stop a crime in one county but then stop another in a county nearly the other side of the planet.

"Actually I'v been using the Stark Industries satellites with help from J.A.R.V.I.S. to track his flight patterns to see if i can find out where exactly does he hang his cape as to see where he visits multiple times and it's a good opportunity to find out who exactly he is" Tony explained.

"Sir i'v managed to locate a certain place that despite nothing happening there Superman still goes and visits it multiple times" J.A.R.V.I.S. informed Tony.

"Perfect, so where does the flying man go to rest after flying around the world?" Tony asked curiously and while Pepper didn't say anything she was curious as well.

"From what the Stark Industries satellites can track Superman's flight patterns he visits the Arctic and at a certain place despite nothing happening there, so I'm betting that there's a reason why and it might give you a good opportunity to find out who exactly he is" J.A.R.V.I.S. said surprising both Tony and Pepper.

"I hope your new suit has good heating in it" said Pepper.

Meanwhile at the Triskelion

The World Security Council were all discussing about this 'Superman' character just like every other world's government agencies around the world as they saw this Superman as many things like the next big superhero like Captain America or Iron Man, a weapon that can be use to destroy their enemies or also a possibly threat to all of human life on Planet Earth which they needed to ensure that never happens and they have a way to take Superman down just in case. As Director Fury watch the news discussing about the Superman the fifth time that day his mind couldn't help but wandered back to another super power being that he knew known as Carol Danvers who was a former United States Air Force pilot but after upon being exposed to the energy from the Tesseract though the destruction of the Light-Speed Engine it cause her to obtain cosmic super powers.

After gaining her cosmic super powers Carol was then taken by the alien race known as the Kree and they then use her as a weapon for their galactic empire and because she had lost her memories they gave her new ones making her believe that she was one of their loyal soldiers and they were the ones that had given her cosmic super powers but when Carol return to Earth she remembered who she really was and she broke free from the Kree's control and for the past sixteen years Carol had being in outer space helping different races all across the stars. Afterwards the World Security Council had asked Fury about who Carol was most likely thinking about using her as a soldier for themselves but Nick had instead given them a code name to protect Carol's identity and those who she cares about and that code name was 'Captain Marvel'.

Just then Natasha Romanoff walks into Fury's office ready for her next assignment which she could already guess what it is going to be about.

"Agent Romanoff, good you're here, I believe that I don't need to explain to you what your next job is going to be about" said Nick.

"You want me to find everything I can about this 'Superman' and see if he's a possible ally or a possible threat and if so then find ways to bring him down right?" said Natasha.

"Correct after everything that we have seen what he can do and I'm betting that we haven't seen everything just yet we can't take any chances with him, we NEED to know who he is, what are his attentions towards our planet and how to stop him if he ever goes rogue on us" said Nick.

"It will be difficult to keep track of him since he's able to fly around the planet without any problem" Natasha said as tracking someone like Superman will be extremely difficult.

"Yes, which is why I may have to consider getting in contact with Stark to get his aid in this" Nick said which surprised Natasha as she wasn't expecting that.

"Are you sure that wise sir as Stark can be reckless and he may just end up just making the situation worse" Natasha said while she knows that Tony isn't really a bad guy and he is trying to help the world but the problem was that he doesn't take orders will and he may causing a fight between him and Superman.

"I know Romanoff, however we need all the help we can get with the kind of power we're dealing with," said Nick.

"I understand sir but it might be easier if we also bring Rhodey to help as Tony will listen to him and if the worse case happens we got two Iron Men ready to fight against him" said Natasha.

"Your right I'll make the call to Colonel Rhodes to meet with you as soon as possible however I'm sending someone else with you to help" said Nick.

"Who is it Coulson, Hill or Clint?" Natasha asks curiously as while she knew that Clint was busy spending time with his family but given how serious the situation is Fury might have called him in.

However instead it was none of them as just then a man in a suit walked into the room who Natasha had seen before standing next to Phill Coulson but she had never spoken to.

"This here is Agent James Olsen, if Coulson is my right hand man then Agent Olsen here is his, Coulson is currently in New Mexico dealing with something else that's there and as you probably know Barton is currently on break but I might have to ask him for his help depending on what's going with Coulson" said Nick.

"Understood sir but do you have any idea where i can start looking?" Natasha asks curiously as she knew that any clue she could get if she wanted to uncover the mystery of who is this Superman.

"At a matter of a fact i do have something, even since Superman made his first appearance people been trying to find any clue about him where there are rumors and theories about him and normally i would just ignore these kind of things however given what's going on and we need anything we can get so i decided to look into these and some of these actually makes sense where at different places around the world people somehow were saved by a 'miracle'" Fury explained.

"However the theory that it was actually Superman saving them but he didn't want to be own just yet" Agent Olsen answered.

"Correct and hopefully maybe you can find something out about those places" said Fury.

"Okay that is at least something to work with and I think we will need to head to Stark's and use J.A.R.V.I.S. to compile all the dates of each place" said Natasha.

"Good idea, let me know as soon as you find anything out" Fury said before Natasha and Agent Olsen left his office.

"If the worst case happens I can always call in Carol and hopefully she'll be able to handle this Superman" Nick thought as he looked back at the news feed about Superman.

With Tony at the Arctic

Currently Tony in his Silver Centurion Armor was flying over the arctic as he had to use his personal Quinjet, which are an advanced aircraft frequently used by S.H.I.E.L.D. but after he had learned about them Tony then got one for himself and upgraded it to use if he had go somewhere far away that needed his help as Iron Man, as one of the upgrades Tony had done was to greatly enhance the speed of Quinjet so he could fly anywhere on the planet in less time and it could even fly in the arctic without any problems but Tony chose to land it a couple miles away from whenever Superman goes to and fly there himself.

"Thank god i'd made these thermal suits as i'm one hundred percent positive that without it and even with the suits built in heating, i'll be freezing ass off" Tony said as underneath his armor Tony was wearing a Stark Industries thermal suits that were designed to withstand extreme cold weather.

"Indeed sir and from my scans you are nearing the place that Superman visits" said J.A.R.V.I.S.

"Okay let's see what's up here that Superman keeps visti..." Before Tony could finish his sentence he suddenly stopped talking as what he saw left him speechless as before Tony was a large fortress made out of giant crystals that rose up from the ground and pointing towards the sky.

"What the hell? J.A.R.V.I.S are seeing what i'm seeing?" Tony asks in shock thinking that maybe he was seeing things.

"Indeed sir there seems to be a fortress made entirely out of crystals" said J.A.R.V.I.S.

"Scam it J.A.R.V.I.S. cause i'm betting that they're not your usual crystals" Tony ordered.

"Sir i'm sorry to say but i'm having trouble understanding what my scans are picking up but from the little what i can understand is that these crystals are not made from any material known to Earth and they seem to be absorbing solar energy similar to solar panels but at a far greatly affect" J.A.R.V.I.S. explained.

"Huh interesting okay let's go and check this place out but do you know where Superman is currently at?" Tony asked wanting to know what exactly this place is and why J.A.R.V.I.S. His super advanced AI is having a hard time finding out.

"Currently he's dealing with a forest fire" J.A.R.V.I.S. explained.

"Okay while he's busy dealing with that let's go and find everything we can shall we" Tony said before he flew towards the crystal fortress.
