Emerl and co keep moving but now they enter a world where they re-encounter an old adversary.

The Spider in the Castle Part 1
The group exit the door and look around the room in Castle Oblvion, last few times they had encounters and were looking for Metal Sonic but the room was empty.
"Where did Metal go?" Lilac asked "I was sure we'd catch up to him."
"I bet he finally got tired of fighting you with you, Emerl." Hiro said with a shrug.
"I hope that is the case" Emerl said with a nod.
"We should remain on guard though, just in case" Togami suggests.
"I agree can never be too careful in this place" Doom said nodding.
"Alright then" Emerl said and switches to his Sonic deck
"Let's move to the next floor" J said and the group head up the stairs.
We come to the highest floor where Brutaka, Emerald and Shockwave were seeing the progress of Emerl, J and go. The cyberronaina was working on the pod that contained the shadowy mass that was slowly taking form. According to Shockwave's data this was almost complete
"So what's going on, Shockwave?" Emerald asked firmly "Your Metal Sonic was supposed to counter Emerl. What's he waiting for? Where is he?" Shockwave glares at the girl
"He's hiding somewhere to lure Emerl deeper into the castle, right?" Brutaka guessed "I supposes we should just leave it at that, you know."
"Oh, I see now!" Emerald said smiling and mockingly "I would never have guessed that. So sorry Shockwave."
"Silence!" Shockwave said in anger slamming the pod a bit.
"Predictable response." Emerald said in a deadpan voice "Forget it. Males of any race without hearts can be so boring."
"You one to talk human. Like you have such a heart yourself." Shockwave said to her.
"Enough of this." A voice said getting all three's attention. And appearing in the room in the black cloak was a camilar figure. He disgards the cloak showing off his red and black armor with a face mask of the Psycho Rangers under a black hood.
"Psycho Sith!" Shockwave said in shock
"Marr" Emerald said smiling.
Marr walks to Shockwave and says "Shockwave, the fact of the matter is, your project was a failure. Your best hope the project your currently work on or any other tasks that I ask of you don't result in a second failure."
"Disappoint YOU? You go too far!" Shockwave said feeling insulted in that "In this Organization, you're ranked at Number 11! Whereas I'm ranked at Number 4 meaning I hold a higher rank to all three of you and I will not have…" He is cut off when Marr pulls out and ignites a Lightsaber Scythe and points it at him
"Need I remind you that I was the one entrusted with command over this castle and Windblade by our leader himself. In your love of logic that means defying me will be seen as treason against the Psycho Organization."
"If I recall 'Traitors are eliminated.' I believe that was the rules set" Brutaka said nodding.
"Because who needs a half-baked good-for-nothing piece of scrap anyway?" Emerald said smiking. Shockwave glares at her with his optic.
"Shockwave, you can't win against Emerl. I also know that project you're working on relates to J, I doubt it stands a chance against her." Marr told him
"Must be a pity to be so ignorant." Shockwave said amused "You all can only see the surface of things, I should not expect you to appreciate my true might of myself or my creations."
"Oh?" Marr said and made his lightsaber scythe disappear. "Then let us watch you prove it to us."
"Pardon?" Shockwave asked confused
Marr turns his back to them as he said "None of us wish to be suspicious of a comrade."
"Your insincerity is comforting" Shockwave said as he along with the pod disappear in a Corridor of Darkiness.
"You give a challenge like that to Shockwave and he'll seriously want to eliminate both Emerl and J." Brutaka said concerned.
"That would be an unfortunate denouement if the former as least were to occur." Marr mentions nodding. He moves over to Windblade who was sitting on a chair and places his hand on her shoulder making her flinch "What to do? Your hero is soon to be wiped from existence. But I believe there is a certain promise that he made you. Isn't that right, Windblade?"
"…Yes." Windblade said nodding.
Marr nods and walks away from her.
We rejoin the group as they made it to the next floor and there was the blank door and nothing else.
"Interesting!" Togami said thinking "I believe this is the Tenth Floor….We're pretty high up in this place now."
"Indeed but that only means we've lost ten whole floors of our memories." RiCO said appearing looking concerned. "Emerl, it still isn't too late. Don't you think we should turn back?"
"I can't do it…because…that would break an old promise that I made." Emerl said looking down.
"An old promise?" RiCO asked surprised "What would that be?"
Emerl looks up and said "On the islands, I promised Windblade that I'd keep her safe, no matter what. But, I forgot it…"
"I see" J said thinking
"Yeah and I didn't remember it until I started forgetting everything else!" Emerl continued "A promise between the two of us…That's why…I can't leave. Now that I remember the promise, I have to keep it."
"Of course." RiCO said nodding "We understand Emerl."
"Let's get moving and go through that door" Lilac said smiling
"This is the last card of the batch" J said handing Emerl the remaining world card.
"Which means it might be the most dangerous memory world" Doom said.
"Well, let's go" Emerl said and after sorting his decks, uses the card on and opens bathing them in a bright light.
When the light dies down the group found themselves walking on the outskirts of a castle that had a dark feeling come about them.
"Hey, anyone else hearing voices?" Hiro said to the group "Who is that?"
RiCO appears from J's broach and said "Shhhhh…I think something's wrong."
The group peer round the corner and see two people, one was a man in a red and blue spider themed superhero costume complete with a late white spider logo on his chest and the other was a female red had in blue jeans and a brown jacket.
"But Mary Jane, I don't understand" The spider hero said to her "I came this way to save you!"
"Peter…." Mary Jane said sighing "I didn't ask you to come." She turns around "Besides you're wasting your time. I am not going back home, so you're wasting your time."
"Mary Jane, don't you know what you are saying?!" Peter said in disbelief. "How can you stay here with that evil overlord and his pet monkey?!"
"I have nothing more to say." Mary Jane said turning away "Now believe before they find you." With that she heads inside the castle.
"Mary Jane….why?" Peter said looking down.
"I'm not entirely sure what we just witnessed…bit are you okay?" Emerl asked
"That almost looked like a breakup?" J said
"Oh no, our actual breakup was a lot more civil." Peter told them
"Don't feel bad…I'm sure she has a reason to say all that" Lilac said in comfort.
"I guess, I know you're heard my name but call me Spider-Man." Peter said to them. "I'm going tro go think" He said and using his webs he swings away from the group.
"Poor guy." Doom said sighing. "Kind of wish we could do something for him."
"Maybe we should go talk with the girl, she may tell us what is going on" Togami said
"Good place as any to start" J said.
The group nod and end for the entrance and Emerl earns the Key of Beginnings card.
-Hollow Bastion-
As Emerl and J make there way through the castle they engaged in new Heartless like Mages, Wyverns, Whirlwinds and tough armored ones known as Defenders.
"Man not sure it was past works made us ready or not but this is a breeze" J said as she took out two mages.
"All the practise pays off after all" Emerl said smiling finishing a Defender.
As they progess Emerl also works on his deck with new cards he retrieves. Along the way they find instructions for a Slight called Reflect Raid. To do this they need to use a Tommy Oliver summon card along with two attack cards to make the keyblade ricochet off enemies when used.
"Sounds useful" J said smiling.
"I will keep it in mind" Emerl said nodding.
The two keep moving and fighting as they make their way through the castle to find the right doorway. The fights seemed to take longer as more Heartless attack them but during it Emerl earned the Shadow black card.
"Huh…similar to the boss cards" Emerl said.
"Surprised it only appeared now, but oh well" J said shrugging
As they traveled Emerl finds a Key to Rewards card curious on it he keeps a hold of it as they soon find the door for the Key to Beginnings and He uses it on it
The six heroes enter what appears to be a castle library and there they see Mary Jane. She hears there footsteps and turns to face them.
"Who are you all? Did the villains of this place kidnap you too?" Mary Jane asked.
"Uh….not really." Emerl said "It's a long and complicated story."
"Hold on!" J said stepping forward "You are saying you were kidnapped? You don't actually want to be here?"
"Yes…" Mary Jane said sighing. "I mean no I don't want to be here. That galactic emperor of evil's henchman forced me to come here. I have no one to talk to, this library is he only place I can come to, to help ease the loneliness."
"It is quiet here" Lilac said nodding.
"Then there's him…I know we're not together anymore but that doesn't mean I am not worried about him." Mary Jane said sighing.
"You talking about Spider-Man right?" Doom asked "If you care for him, why were you being mean to him before?"
"Yeah, it looked like it hurt his feelings" Emerl said nodding.
"You don't understand. I can't allow him to see how I really feel." Mary Jane said to them.
"Why not?" J asked
"It's because…" Mary Jane began to explain when the sound of a door begins pushed open is heard "Oh no, someone's coming! Hide quick! There isn't time to explain. Hide! Now!"
The group hide just in time as the see enter from where they enter a blue monkey like creature in gold armor with black wings wielding a sword
"Goldar, what to I owe the visit?" Mary Jane said acting innocently.
Goldar pulls a book and a hidden passageway opens "My lord wishes to talk to you."
From out the passage emerges a red and silver almost demonic looking figure carrying a stff with a Z themed staff walks out
"My lord, the girl as you requested" Goldar said kneeling
"I can see that Goldar." The figure said
"Zedd, what do you want?" Mary Jane asked him.
"He was here, wasn't it?" Zedd asked not looking at her then turns "He risked his very life to come here, like any hero would. Why do you reject him?"
"I've been rescued by him countless times. This time I won't ask for his help." Mary Jane said firmly
"I see, and why is that?" Zedd asked chuckling.
"You know very well why!" Mary Jane yelled at him "I won't fall into your trap!"
"How dare you raise your voice like that to the mighty Lord Zedd!" Goldar said angered but Zedd raises his hand to stop Goldar.
"It's alright Goldar." Zedd said "If she won't call him, we have no choice but to make her BEG for his help!"
"Excellent idea my lord" Goldar said laughing and grabs Mary Jane's arm.
"Hey! Let go you overgrown ape!" Mary Jane said struggling
Lord Zedd then uses his staffs magic to teleport the three of them away. The group run out to stop this but are too late.
"No! They got away!" Emerl said upset
"What should we do?" Hiro asked the group.
"We have to help her of course! What else?" Emerl said
"They must have gone to a higher floor of the castle." J suggests.
"Then let's move people!" Doom said nodding
The six hurry out of the library to try and find where the two villians took Mary Jane. Emerl gaining a Key of Guidance card.
