It's in the Blood
Epilogue
Ginny, Harry, Hermione, and Ron were unaware of the chaos that would occur after the ministry found out about Delphini.
The press descended upon them like a murder of crows pecking at fresh carrion. They had to use all manner of enchantments to guard their homes, especially after a pesky photographer had discovered a way to apparate directly into the Weasley living room.
When they would try to go about their daily lives, the press would hound them on the streets. They would shout questions like: "Why would one of the greatest evil wizards of all have kept her birth a secret?" "And why?" "How did they discover her?" "Was she the cause of Harry's disappearance?" "Were Delphini and Harry lovers?"
Anita Skeeter, Rita's daughter, had shouted the last question to Harry, who looked at her with disgust. The white flash blinded him when a photographer took his photo, while Anita's quill scratched on the pad next to her. Anita's smirk reminded Harry so much of Rita that he felt like she had been raised from the dead.
In all the commotion and interest in Delphini, no one outside of a very few knew that Teddy had found the Resurrection stone. Harry, after a brief consultation with the headmasters (and headmistress), found a way to destroy the Resurrection stone, and thus two of the three Deathly Hallows had finally been eradicated.
Harry was conflicted about destroying the last of the Hallows; his invisibility cloak. In a way, it had protected him from Death as the brother in the story. Many times over. He wanted to pass it down to his children and protect them from Death, but he wasn't sure if it should be owned by anyone. He decided to think about it, and maybe consult with the others that had also been hidden from Death.
Harry had allowed Teddy to speak with his parents once again before destroying the stone. Teddy, in his exuberance, asked them all manner of questions, including their favorite foods and memories of him as a baby.
Teddy sobbed when he handed over the stone to Harry, knowing it was the last time he would ever see his parents. Harry held Teddy in his arms and grieved with him. He had loved the gentle kindness of Remus and the sunny optimism of Tonks.
For years, Harry had carried an immense weight of guilt over their deaths and apologized for his part in their demise. Remus kindly informed him the fight encompassed more than Harry. They had fought to protect Harry, their son, and any future Potters, Lupins, and Weasleys. Fought and won, so they were at peace.
Winky had a brief bit of celebrity when it became known how she had rescued Harry and Hermione from Delphini. The Weird Sisters even came out of retirement to release a new song called I Want Her on My Side. The song became popular and started a new dance craze called the Winky Bop.
The full Council of Magical Law tried Delphini and sentenced her to 20 years in Azkaban or a life sentence, as few prisoners survived that long. When they read the verdict, Delphini lifted her head and smiled for the cameras. In hindsight, they should have realized Delphini had a plan. Just days after she went into Azkaban, she disappeared. No one knew exactly how she had escaped, although many speculated she was an unregistered animagus.
Eventually, the reporters found a juicier story, the Weird Sisters went back into retirement, and the families once again found peace and relative anonymity. All was well until Albus went to Hogwarts and was somehow sorted into Slytherin…
