Prologue
"Wendy, are you ready for this?" Chili asked.
"I'm going to have to at some point." Wendy said. Wendy sighed loudly, bracing herself.
"JUDO! BLUEY! CAN YOU COME DOWN HERE!" Wendy called upstairs. Judo's bedroom door opened, and the two girls trotted downstairs, blissfully talking about what they bought at the mall. "Yeah Mum?"
"Sit down."
The two immediately sensed the serius tone and sat down on the couch next to Chili.
"Judo… you know how I've been trying to find a new job for months now." Wendy began.
"Yes…"
"Well, I found a new job, but it's not as high paying."
Bluey and Judo exchanged glances. "Ok… What does that mean?"
"It means we have to downsize temporarily."
Judo began catching on. "You mean… we're moving?!" Judo said, becoming upset. Bluey wrapped her arms around Judo.
"Yes, but temporarily!" Wendy answered. "We'll downsize for about a year or two, but we will most likely move back here!"
"And Bluey will visit, so you two will see each other!" Chili said cheerfully.
"Where are you guys going to?" Bluey asked.
"I managed to rent a flat in England! It's small, because it's just us two but it's a very nice house!" Wendy remarked.
Judo got up and ran to her room crying with Bluey chasing after her.
"She'll be ok." Wendy said, feeling defeated.
"I hope so." Chili said. "I should get going. I have to pick up Bingo."
"Before you go," Wendy said as she grabbed a pen and paper and scribbled down a address. "Here's where we'll be moving to." Chili took the piece of paper.
"2290 Pink Palace Apartments, Castleton. Thanks Wendy. Hope Judo is alright."
"I'll talk to talk to her." Wendy remarked, hugging Chili farewell.
