Backstory:

Misty was born on Christmas Day, a year after her parents were married. She was named after the misty day she was born on. However, her full first name is Michelle, which Rocky thought sounded like a Christmas name. Marley asks Jenni and Mordecai to be Misty's godparents, much to Rocky's worry and dismay due to knowing Heller's nature. However, the tuxedo cat takes a liking to Misty specifically and seems to enjoy educating her and her siblings (Misty was the only one who listened). Misty also took a liking to his daughter, Serenity and his son, Justin.

As Misty matured, she grew close to her father, who played music for her when she was sad or scared. Rocky showed his daughter how to play violin. At the age of 9, Misty accidentally breaks her father's violin. Worried he'll be upset, Misty tries to fix it but she just makes it worse. After some teasing by her siblings, Misty runs to Jenni, who was babysitting her and her siblings, for help. Unable to fix the violin, Misty cries, worried her parents might not love her when they find out she broke her father's violin. Jenni comforts her and explains that her parents will always love her, even though she made a mistake and tells her she needs to tell them the truth. Misty tells her parents what happened and fears that they'll be angry. Instead, they're pleased that Misty was practicing her musical skills and was proud she told the truth.

As a teen, Misty was a beautiful young lady who loved dressing nice and playing music. She always assisted her father on alcohol runs.

As a young adult, Misty became leader of the band and the captain of the rumrunners for Lackadaisy.

Trivia:

Misty's middle name comes from her paternal grandmother.

Misty bears a striking resemblance to her father.

She's also the only non-cheetah child of Rocky and Marley.

Misty's orange bandana around her neck is meant to symbolize the strong bond she has with her father, as he has an orange necktie.
