This is the story of the Avatar multiverse. This is based on Dfrab's idea.
REMINDER: I DO NOT OWN AVATAR OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.
Two months ago, Korra helped a group of teenage mutant ninja turtles to a battle against the ruthless Utrom Ch'rell and the Queen and last of the Ancestral Witches Lythra, and merged Raava and Vaatu back into one to their true form, Raavu the Spirit of the Balance. New York City was saved thanks to the Avatar of the Balance and her new allies. With Raavu returned, balance has maintained the way it is. But is there any more threats that concern Korra?
At the Southern Water Tribe, it was a snowy night. It was a great storm. Everyone in the village were inside their houses for shelter. At the palace, where Tonraq and Senna were checking out for the people in each house.
"This is a big storm this night, Tonraq." Senna said.
"Don't worry, honey. It'll be over by tomorrow. Then Korra, Mako and our grandkids will be coming here for a holiday." Tonraq said.
"I can't wait to see little Raava and Vaatu." Senna said excitedly. "They sure missed their Gran-Gran and Gramp-Gramp."
"And so do we." Tonraq said with a smile.
Then suddenly the Avatar's parents sees a purple light heading for the forest where the Spirit Portal was.
"Was that a spirit?" Senna wondered.
"I think so." Tonraq said. "I wonder what kind of spirit it was."
"I don't this is a spirit, Tonraq." Senna said.
"Let's just go inside, Senna. It's getting cold out here. Tomorrow, Korra and her family will arrive." Tonraq said.
"Guess you're right." Senna said.
Tonraq and Senna went inside the palace.
Near the Southern Spirit Portal, in the Spirit World, where the purple light came near the Tree of Time and it wasn't a spirit that Senna and Tonraq thought, it was a portal to another world, then four hooded figures came through it in a rush like something was chasing them.
The leader looked around the Spirit World. "Quick, close the portal!"
The second figure holds an ancient talisman combined with which appeared to be Kraang technology. and used it to close the portal before a monster can go through it.
"That was close." the third figure said in relive. "That dark spirit nearly killed us."
"This war won't be very easy to win." the fourth one said. "Where are we?"
The leader looked around and seemed to recognize it. "The Spirit World."
"Great, we're back at the place where you made all this chaos possible?" the second figure asked bluntly.
"Not the Spirit World in our universe. This is the universe where the darkness had never won." the leader said. "We made it."
"We're in the other universe? Finally I could see what I do in this world." The third figure said.
"What do we do now?" the fourth figure asked.
"We go to this universe's Southern Water Tribe village; we wait for its Avatar and ask for her to help us. We must undo the evil in the United Republic. We have to. For freedom. For our world."
"And do you suppose this Avatar in this universe can listen to you?" the second figure asked in a doubtful tone.
"We must have faith, my boy. You should have thought of that after what you did to her." the fourth figure insult the figure.
"Enough." the third figure said. "Lead the way."
The figures walked through the Spirit Portal to the human world. Unknown to them the purple spark of the portal was about to be open by the monster they ran from.
Later in the figures' universe, inside a dark chamber, seven soldiers were waiting for their master. A purple, glowing, cloaked figure with green eyes appeared out of nowhere and sits on its throne.
"Report." the figure ordered in a female voice.
"The four rebels have escaped." the general said before the figure uses airbending to take the life from him.
"How could you have let them escape?" she asked bitterly. "You were supposed to get them and bring them here! You are so pathetic as Raiko."
"My Avatar, they went through a portal to another world." one of the soldiers said. "The Spirits are hunting them down there."
"Another world, huh?" the figure what was called the Avatar was amused before she spared the general. "And do you have any devices to travel to any universe?"
"The scientists had just finished them since the rebellion had that kind of machine." the lieutenant said.
"Excellent." the Avatar said.
"My Avatar, if this universe the Red Lotus members can be an opposite from ours, them maybe there's a light Avatar…" The general was trying to say.
The cloaked Avatar was angry. "Guan, you fool! How dare you suggest that kind of theory! I am and will always be the one true Avatar! Don't you forget it! Ever!"
Guan bowed the figure in fear. "Please forgive my insolence, Your Highness."
"Disables of this glorious era, we have a new world to conquer. The Empire shall become the first dynasty to cross between universe there ever existed. Have all dark spirits and patrol search for the rebellion scum and bring them to me. Do not fail me."
"We will not, my Avatar." Guan said.
"Good. You have my leave to go." the Avatar said.
The soldiers left the chamber, leaving the figure with the most evilest grin it ever had.
"I guess I could spread this other universe with my darkness. I proclaim it for my own in the name of my Republic Empire. And this light Avatar can't defeat the Dark Avatar of Evil. No one can."
She laughed softly and evilly as her green eyes were glowing.
"Raiko!" she called out and the man who seemed to be Raiko.
"Y-yes, my Avatar?" he asked fearfully.
"Has Meldora invaded the United States of America?" the Avatar asked.
"Yes, great one." Raiko answered.
"Good to hear. Now leave me. Seeing your face makes me sick. And tell General Iroh we have a new world to conquer." she said before Raiko leaves.
In a chamber, the figure walked up the stairs. She entered a lab where scientists were experimenting on humans. the Avatar was pleased with some new armies. They're merging humans and spirits into hybrids. All the good people were in pain and suffering during the experiments.
"Well, how is the process?" the Avatar asked.
"My Avatar, the experiment is a success." one scientist said.
"Good, then they will be stronger soldiers for the Republic Empire. Those Red Lotus fools will suffer in my hands." the Avatar said. "When will they be finished, doctor?"
"They will done by tomorrow, my Avatar. Then they will obey only you." the scientist said.
"Soon, we take over the entire multiverse." she said. "And I shall rule them all as their ruler. Sieg heil."
She laughed loudly in the lab. The scientists smiled in agreement for this Avatar's plot to conquer the entire universes.
"Sieg heil! Sieg heil!"
This Avatar was so evil, even her heart became as dark as any tyrant who had ever lived. One scientist who seemed to be Kaori was worried. She was so scared of the Avatar since what ever happened to her.
"What has she become?" she wondered in fear.
"Have them tested when they're ready. And train them all for our war against the Red Lotus, and to invade every universe that ever existed." the Avatar ordered.
"Yes, Your Majesty." the scientist said.
The Avatar grins for the experiment of humans. "My armies will be ready for this invasion of a new universe."
In a secret room, the Avatar walked to the door and opened it. She entered the room where she kept some items for her memories of her past. She walked to a table and picked up a photo frame. It was a picture of Korra and Mako. This Avatar never shed a tear, only a villainous glare at it.
She places the photo face down with a evil grin.
"Well, Mako. You were right. There's no room for our relationship. I hope you drink your way out to get other it, you traitorous, rat bastard. I tried to save the world, but you were standing in my way and betray me. And now, this is who I am, the new and improved Avatar. And I'll make sure you rot in Hell."
This Avatar walked out from the room and slammed the door.
"And by the way, I am over you already." she said while laughing.
Later that night back in the usual universe, at Republic City, at Air Temple Island, Korra felt a presence she had never felt before.
"Whoa."
Raava walked to her mother while noticing she felt unsure. "Ma, are you all right?"
"Mama's got a shiver." Korra said. "It's like something I've never felt before."
"Hmm." Raava was worried.
"Don't worry, sweetie. I'm fine. Go get some sleep." Korra said before Raava walked inside the cabin.
Korra was not sure what that presence was. She begin to wonder.
"What am I facing now?" she wondered. "Raavu, did you feel that, too."
"I did." Raavu's imprint said.
"Well, what do you think it was?" she asked.
"I'm not sure. It's something I haven't felt before." Raavu said.
"If there's something dangerous is out there, it might attack soon." Korra said.
"Perhaps. We must be careful." Raavu said.
"What if Unalaq escaped the Netherworld?" Korra wondered.
"The Shredder can't leave the Netherworld without Kavaxas being summoned and him opening a portal. We'll figure it out when we get any signs." Raavu said.
"I guess you're right, Raavu." Korra said.
"Now, come on inside and sleep." Raavu said.
"Ok. Give me a moment." Korra said.
She stared at the ocean, wondering what new threats she's facing now.
What was that all about?! Chapter two will come.
