On a scale from 1-10, I'd say the worst physical pain I've been through was a 6. I had a hernia operation shortly after my twenties and was in a lot of pain post-surgery. I had to take a lot of painkillers and still had to bear the pain for weeks. It was a pretty rough recovery but the surgeon did say it was a pretty successful operation so I had that to be thankful for./p
