Judo was awoken by a persistent squeaking.
"What's that sound?" Judo wondered, waking up and looking around her dark room. The squeaking noise came from underneath her bed, making her look under her bed.
There, was a mouse staring back at her. When the mouse realized it was noticed, it hopped from underneath her bed and made its way out of her bedroom door. Judo, who had now became intrigued, got up from her bed and made her way out her bedroom, walking past her button eyed doll.
Exiting her room, she saw the mouse run down the stairs. She silently chased after it, walking into the blackened downstairs. As she got to the bottom, she followed the mouse into the living room. The mouse ran into the slightly opened crawlspace door. Judo ran up to the door, bracing herself to catch the small rodent knowing it was trapped. Swinging open the door, she didn't find a rodent or a brick wall.
Instead, the brick wall had now vanished and was instead a beautiful blue and purple glowing tunnel. Judo looked in awe into the tunnel and could see the mouse hopping through the deep tunnel and enter a door at the other end.
"WHOA!" Judo said. She entered into the hypnotizing tunnel.
It was warm and soft. Each step she took into the tunnel, an overwhelming sense of pleasure overtook her small frame. As she made it through the tunnel, she pushed open the door on the other end. As she finished crawling through, she froze in shock as she enter into her living room.
"What the hell?" Judo asked herself. She was back in her living room. Same furniture, though they look more vibrant than Judo remembered. The wood floor also shined a tad better. "Did I crawl in a circle?" Judo asked herself. She looked back in the tunnel and could see her old living room through the slightly opened door. She hadn't went in a circle. She was in a parallel living room.
As Judo walked around the mirrored room, the smell of savory meat entered her nostrils. "Mhmm!" Judo said. She looked towards the entrance of the living room and could see light coming from the kitchen. Judo curiously walked towards the kitchen.
As she approached the sliding doors to the kitchen, she could see through the wide crack, the back of her mum stirring a pot of baked potatoes. Judo pushed open the door and stared at her mum.
"Mum? What are you doing here?" Judo asked. As she asked that, her mum quickly spun around.
"You're just in time for supper sweetie!" Judo's mum said with an exaggerated jolly expression.
Judo jumped backwards in shock and horror as her eyes met with her mum.
Or, what ever this thing that looked like her mum.
Instead of her mum's comforting yet tired eyes, two cold black buttons were sewn in their place.
Judo was speechless, staring at this… thing.
It looked like her mum, just more refreshed. Her curls were more vibrant, her smile was more fresher, her hips were more wider, her eye bags had vanished, her breasts were more…. actually that part isn't important.
"Y-you're not my mum. My mum doesn't have b-b-b-b-" Judo stuttered.
"B-b-BUTTONS!" Her button eyed mum chuckled. "You like them? I'm your OTHER MOTHER silly!" Her other mother chuckled. "Now! Do me a favor and go tell your other father that supper is ready!"
Judo stared back. "My other father?"
"Yes! He's in his study!" The other mother chuckled before turning back to the oven as she removed what looked like roasted quail from the oven. Judo walked towards the study, not entirely trusting this "place."
Pushing up the doors to the study, she was met with the back of her dad. "D-Dad?"
Her dad spun around. "Hello Judo!" Judo stared back into his black button eyes.
He looked exactly like her dad back in Australia. Just more buff, sharper hair, sharper cheekbones and jawline, less of a potbelly, and generally had more attractive features.
"Wanna hear my new song?" The other father asked her.
"M-my dad can't play the piano."
"No need to!"
Two white gloved mechanical hands shot out the piano top and unrolled themselves towards Judo, making her jump back.
"This piano plays me sweetie!" He spun around and began tapping away at the piano.
🎶Making up a song about Judo! 🎵
🎶She's a peach to her mum but she's a pal of mine!🎵
🎶She's as cute as a button in the eyes of anyone whoever laid their eyes on Judo-ooo!🎵
🎶When she comes around adoring, mum and I will never maker her bored and snoring,🎵
🎶Our eyes will be on Judo-OOO!🎵
Judo, having bounced her head to the catchy tune, tapped her other father on his shoulder.
"She said to tell you that the food's ready."
"Mhmm! Who's starving? Raise your hand!" The mechanical slightly nubbed him on the bottom of his chin as it raised its hand.
Judo giggled as the two went into the dining room.
The table was already set. Fresh peas, corn on the cobs, buttery baked potatoes, glazed rolls, pasta with green pesto and parmesan, crab legs, juicy lobster tails. Judo's mouth water at the sight. The sight of the food was enough to give anyone an orgasm from the sight of them. The other mother entered the dining room, carrying a tray of roasted glazed quails she placed in the center of the table, making in the main dish.
"Lets say grace!" The other mother said as she and the other father bowed their heads. Judo followed suit.
'We give our thanks and ask to blessed, our mother's juicy… chicken breasts!" He joked. The other mother chuckled back. Judo chuckled to, understanding the 'joke.'
The other mother rung a bell, signalling supper beginning.
Judo cautiously loaded her plate with quail, baked butter potatoes, peas, and rolls. She bit into the quail, her mouth flooding with savory sensation.
"Mhmm!" Judo moaned as she began chowing down on the quail.
Her other mother and father watched her silently.
Judo gobbled down most of her plate, refilling her plate with lobster tails and crab legs and even more quail. She was in a bliss. She had never tasted food so savory. Her mum wasn't the best cook and more relied on pre packaged meals.
"Do you have any gravy?" Judo asked, adding more potatoes to her plate.
"Well her comes the gravy train!" Her other mother replied, as a train emerged, riding on a track Judo hadn't noticed before towards her. It stopped in front of her plate and extended a pitcher full of shining hot gravy pouring it all over the potatoes.
Judo gobbled down her potatoes, licking her fork to catch the bits of gravy caught in between the shards.
"Is there anything to drink?" Judo asked, looking up from her plate.
"Of course! Any requests?" The other mother asked, the chandelier lowering from the ceiling.
"Mango milkshake?"
The chandelier rotated and pouring vibrant orange mango milkshake into her empty drinking glass. Judo gulped it down and refilled her drink. As she finished herd drink again, she noticed the other mother removed her plate and place a cake in front of her.
Judo looked down. It was a tres leche cake, her favorite. The top on the cake had 13 candles brightly lit and written in blood red icing, read the words 'Welcome Home!'
"Home?" Judo asked.
"We've been waiting for you Judo!" The other mother stated. Her other father placed his hand on her shoulder.
"For… me?"
"Wasn't the same without you sweetie!"
Judo crossed her arms. "So, there's no button eyed version of me?"
"No!" Her other mother stated.
"Why?"
"There isn't a button eyed other of everyone."
"And you guys were just here waiting the whole time?"
"Yes!
"That makes no sense. I moved here two days ago and i only live with my mum. So, how did you two know I would move here?"
"We just did!" Her other mother replied, a tiny sense of being caught off guard hinted in her voice.
"What is this place? Why button eyes?"
"This is a separate world Judo! Some people can't have button eyed others because thats how things are. But there are doors everywhere in your world that lead to this world! And only those with no buttoned others can discover it and travel worlds!" Her other mother interjected. "You're one of the lucky ones!"
Judo stared silently, not sure what to make of that explanation.
"We knew you'd come to this house at some point! So we moved and waited! Waited so long to meet you! We desperately wanted children but couldn't!"
Judo nodded silently. She understood that aspect of parents wanting children and being unable to. It made sense now that they wanted for so long to meet her. She remembered Bluey telling her that her aunt was constantly trying to start a family. Spending thousands and thousands to try and become pregnant, only to fail and fail again. Judo didn't understand why people wanted kids so badly, she personal found the idea of pregnancy to be rather uncomfortable.
The other mother cut Judo a slice of cake and placed it in front of Judo. Judo bit into it, tasting the sweet vanilla, crunchy juicy fruit. She ate three slices of cake. Best cake she tasted in her short life time.
Finishing the last bite and becoming heavily full, she yawned.
"C'mon Judo! I think we should get you to bed."
"Oh… yeah… it was nice meeting you two. I should get going now…" Judo yawned as she got up.
"You should see your room first! It's all made up!" Her other mother said. Her other father wrapped his arm around her and lead her up to her bedroom being led by the other mother.
As they approached her bedroom, the other father opened the door, revealing a beautifully painted bedroom. The wall was a beautiful dark red purple with bright pink florals. Her bed was big with curtains and velvet blankets. Her toys that hadn't been unpacked yet were placed on a shelf and seemed to be alive.
Judo walked in awe and amazement around her room.
"Judo! How's it going mate!?" A voice came from her picture frame. Judo gasped and rushed to it.
The picture frame was animated, everyone was there eating pizza waving at Judo.
"Long time no see!" Bluey chuckled.
"Oh my god! Bluey! Bingo! Mackenzie!" Judo exclaimed. Her heart skipped a beat as she glanced at Bandit, who was noticeable more dilfy. He had bigger muscles and was wearing a t-shirt that showed off more of his body.
Judo felt a hand place on her shoulder. It was the other mother with a jar of mud.
"Here! This'll help with your poison oak!"
The other mother rubbed some mud over Judo rash.
Judo snuggled in her bed. The other mother touched a button on the bed pillar and Judo felt her mattress and blanket warm up.
Wrapped in a warm heavenly cocoon and full belly, Judo quickly fell drifted to slumber.
The other father turned off the lights. Her other mother placed her hand on Judo's shoulder as Judo softly snored.
Speaking no higher than a cold whisper,
"So you soon."
