Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the next chapter of the Fusion Arc. I would've released this yesterday, but I was distracted by Duel Links since I wanted to unlock Serena and I finally did! She doesn't have specific dialogue with Yuya when they Duel, but her story and interactions are with him during the event are friendly and sweet.

But enough of that, let's get to it.

Chapter 24: The Final Showdown

Academia – Main Entrance

Yuya, Serena and Atem reached to the main entrance of Academia, all three of them prepared for the battles that would determine the fate of the Four Dimensions and the ultimate victor of the Dimension War.

"This is it…" Yuya said.

"Yeah…" Serena nodded before looking at the four bracelets on her arm. "I'll see you both at the end of this."

"Yeah." Atem agreed. "We're gonna win no matter what."

"Everyone has put in so much effort, we can't let them down. Let's end this, Leo Akaba, Eve." Yuya opened the main entrance.

As they walked in, Serena's bracelets starting blinking and she held up her arm and found it blinking frequently on the path to the right. "That's where I'm supposed to go. You two be careful."

"You too." Atem said.

"Serena—" Yuya was instantly silenced when Serena kissed him for a few seconds.

"I know…" Serena knew what Yuya was gonna say. Yuya nodded in response.

"Lead the way, Atem." Yuya turned to his friend.

"Come on, just up these stairs." Atem started running up the stairs and Yuya ran behind him.

Serena walked down the hallway as her bracelets kept blinking and she held her pendant. "Hang on girls. I'm coming to save you."

Path to the Professor's Chamber

Yuya and Atem continued running through the hallway before both of them sensed people coming from around the corner. The quickly hid and Atem held up three fingers.

Yuya nodded and Atem counted from his fingers. "Hah!" Both Yuya and Atem shouted as they activated their Duel Disks and clashing with them was Reiji and Sawatari.

"Reiji. Sawatari. Reira." Yuya was surprised to see them.

"Geez, I thought you were another runner." Sawatari sighed. The four deactivated their Duel Disks.

"Who's this?" Reiji noticed Atem.

"A new friend." Yuya smiled.

"I've broken ties with Academia. I'm on your side. To prove it, I'll take you the Professor's Chamber." Atem revealed.

"This is it…the final boss fight." Sawatari said.

"We heard about the girls. What's happened to them?" Reiji asked.

"Yuzu has absorbed both Rin and Ruri. Only Serena is left. She's gonna face Yuzu alone." Yuya said. "But Genesis made cards that could stop her."

"Do you trust Genesis?" Reiji asked.

"She didn't really give me much of a choice." Yuya admitted.

"Hey, the sooner we take down your deadbeat of a father, the sooner we can go help or at least check on her." Sawatari said.

"Brother, can you really face your dad?" Reira asked.

"Alone, probably not. But I'm not alone. I have friends." Reiji faced Yuya and Sawatari and the two of them nodded.

"This way." Atem pointed as he led the way.

Pathway to Eve's Laboratory

Serena kept walking when she saw some shadows coming in her direction. "Easy, now, you're dropping him." She saw her father, Johan, being supported by Jonouchi with Asuka, Rua and Rio walking alongside him.

"Daddy!" Serena ran to her father.

"Serena…" Johan smiled.

"What happened to you?" Serena asked.

"He faced Yuzu and he won." Crow said. "But…we don't know if winning did anything to help her."

"Probably not, but I'm gonna take care of it." Serena showed her bracelets.

"Weren't those bracelets destroyed?" Jonouchi remembered Yuzu broke hers.

"Complicated story, but I have a chance to save them from their dragons. So…" Serena was a little hesitant to tell her father what she was gonna do.

"You care a lot about your friends. Nothing I say will stop you from going." Johan reached into his pocket and held out his deck. "I was barely able to win with the Gem Beasts, but if father and daughter unite, you have a better fighting chance."

"I understand." Serena took Johan's deck. "With our powers combined, the Nature Dragons won't stand a chance."

"Why don't you all go with Serena, I'll take Johan back to the ship." Crow said.

"Are you sure?" Jonouchi asked.

"Yeah…" Crow said. "Serena, please save Rin for me. And save Ruri for Shun."

"I will." Serena nodded.

Crow and Johan continued out of Academia while Serena continued her path with the other Guardians beside her.

"Serena…" Moonlight Dancer Dragon appeared in spirit form. "Please, let me take care of Flower, Eagle and Cyclone."

"I won't do that." Serena said.

"But why?! I'm your best bet to defeat them!" Dancer argued.

"Dancer…you feel responsible for what happened and you believe that fighting them is the only way to snap them out of their desire to erase humans from the world." Serena thought. "But Dancer, you're my friend and I don't want you to suffer fighting your siblings."

"Serena…" Dancer's expression softened.

"Don't worry, I'll do something about it. I'll show them that humanity and nature can live together." Serena smiled.

"Hey look." Rua pointed forward. It was the door that led to Eve's lab.

Serena looked at her bracelets and they stopped blinking. The light from the gems released a gentle glow. "Just through there." Serena muttered.

Pathway to the Professor's Chamber

As Atem led Yuya, Reiji and Sawatari to the Professor's chamber, the three Pendulum Duelists were all thinking to themselves.

"Man…what a journey it's been." Sawatari thought. "I've started like every LDS Duelist, only caring about winning and obtaining rare and powerful cards. But this man…" Sawatari looked at Yuya. "A man who defeated me without Pendulum Cards by using common cards, change my view of cards."

Sawatari looked at his deck. "My Abyss Actors have helped me overcome many tough opponents." Sawatari thought of his Duels with the Obelisk Force, Dragan, Kiryu, Edo, Captain Solo, Oka, Daimon, and the Masks of Light and Dark. "And I've been chosen by Ra." Sawatari looked at the God card.

"I'll use the power of Ra to protect all the dimensions. We'll become a shining sun that will block out the clouds of darkness." Sawatari put his deck in his Duel Disk.

"All I've cared about was defeating my father no matter the cost." Reiji thought. "I knew I couldn't do it by myself, I knew I needed warriors powerful enough to defeat all our foes. That's why I created the Lance Defense Soldiers Selection Program."

"With the Pendulum Cards and the other summoning methods, I found the perfect group to be part of the Lancers…to defeat my father. But I've learned the hard way that I was doing the same thing my father did when he took over Duel Academia."

"I lost the trust of everyone, and I failed to be a leader." Reiji thought of the aftermath of his Duel with Yuya before leaving Standard, and his humiliating loss against Jack in the Friendship Cup Exhibition Match.

"But thanks to those failures, I was able to grow as a person and instead of fighting to crush my enemies, I fight to protect those that matter to me." Reiji looked down at Reira who walked beside him and patted her head, making her giggle. He then looked at his deck. "I'll use Obelisk to stop my father's ambition."

"Father, Mother, Brothers, Master…" Yuya thought of his family. "All of you gave up your own lives in order to make sure that I had one. I'm really thankful. That's why I'll use everything that you all taught me to end this war. I don't like that I had to make a deal with Genesis, but I made a promise to protect the Four Dimensions."

Yuya looked at his deck. "All of my battles…" Yuya thought of his Duels against Marik and his Ghouls in Standard, Divine, Shinji, Sergey and Roget from Synchro, Kaiser and Eve from Xyz, and Oshita, Daimon and Cobra from Fusion.

"All of the challenges…" Yuya thought of the Maiami Championship, the Friendship Cup, the battles of Heartland and invading Academia.

"All of my friends…" Yuya thought of the many friends he made along the way.

"My monsters…" Yuya looked at his deck, especially Odd-Eyes and Osiris.

"We will win!" Yuya shouted.

"Yeah!" Reiji and Sawatari agreed.

"We're here." Atem said as they stood in front of a giant door.

Yuya opened the door as he, Reiji and Sawatari walked in to face the one who started all this madness with Atem staying behind with Reira.

"If you want something done right…" Leo stood up from his throne. "You have to do it yourself." Leo stared down at the three Pendulum Duelists.

Eve's Laboratory

Serena, Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio entered the laboratory, where there were broken computer pieces, documents shredded everywhere and giant capsules with broken glass.

"Okay, this isn't creepy at all." Rua sarcastically stated.

"Yuzu!" Serena called out. "Flower Dragon! I know you're here! Let's settle this!"

"Flower Dragon is out of commission." Walking out of the shadows was Eve. "Along with your friends, Yuzu, Ruri and Rin." Eve held up the Melodious Flower Dragon, Lyrical Eagle Dragon and Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon cards.

"You're…the one that Yuya fought back at Xyz, the one who controlled Principal Samejima." Serena growled.

"My name is Eve. And you have something that I want." Eve released a mixture of aura.

"What are you talking about?" Serena asked.

"Tell me…what do you know about the United World?" Eve asked.

"The United World. Yuya's home." Rio said.

"Yes, these Four Dimensions were once one. But because of that cursed Ray, they were split into four, ruining mine and Yusho's plans to create our paradise." Eve cursed.

"What paradise comes from destroying a world?!" Jonouchi got angry.

"I did what I did out of love." Eve countered.

"Love?" Serena asked.

"I had a husband. His name was Adam." Eve explained.

"Adam…the Adam Factor." Asuka remembered from her earlier confrontation with Yusho back in the Xyz Dimension.

"Yes, my beloved possessed the Adam Factor. He was pure and noble, always helping others before helping himself. But he perished while he was still so young. It wasn't fair, we still had so much to do. That's why I'm going to bring him back with the Eve Factor."

"The Eve Factor…" Serena repeated.

"Our original plan was to combine the powers of the four dragons created by Genesis as well as the two pieces of the Adam Factor to reset the world in our image and bring my beloved back. But Genesis said we rushed the processed and forced the fusion, the Adam Factor would cease to exist, the key being needed to bring back my beloved." Eve said.

"You'd sacrifice a whole world just to be with your loved one." Serena couldn't believe what she was hearing. She loved Yuya, but she wouldn't sacrifice the whole world for him, because she knew that Yuya wouldn't want that.

"I'll do anything to see him, which is why I decided to use the Eve Factor. Like your bracelets and dragons, its power is based on nature. But its power is a contrast to the Adam Factor." Eve revealed.

"Contrast?" Rua was confused.

"The Adam Factor was a power that could cease all conflicts, bring peace and life to a world of destruction and chaos. The Eve Factor is the opposite. Even though it had nature's purity, it's power can be used to start wars, destroy cities, commit mass murder. I didn't care about Yusho anymore so I decided that even if it kills him, if I can get the Adam Factor back, I could find another way to bring him back. But…that bitch Ray…she ruined my chance to use the Adam Factor on Yusho's demonic form and split the United World to this miserable state."

"The Eve Factor was going to split as well. I didn't want to lose such a power so I transformed the factors into human beings that would bear the face of the woman that ruined everything for me! I turned them into counterparts of the Professor's daughter and Yuya's mother, Ray Akaba." Eve revealed.

"I'm…part of the Eve Factor." Serena said. "And Yuzu, Ruri and Rin as well."

"Yes, I would've gone after you if the split didn't affect my memories. But now, after 14 years…I'm just one piece away from completing the factor. And I have the Nature Dragons to thank for that." Eve smiled.

"The Nature Dragons?" Serena asked.

"You girls have the pieces of the Eve Factor, a power that was meant to be used on Duel Monsters. Since your dragons share the same aspects of nature as that of the Eve Factor, the Eve Factor left your bodies and went into the dragons every time you summoned them to the field." Eve explained.

"Their role was to protect the world, a positive power. But the Eve Factor was a negative power and when you mix a positive and a negative, negative comes out the victor. That negativity warped their minds into believing that protecting the world was to eliminate all of mankind. They would then take over your bodies and try to unite their powers into one. Unite…back to me…" Eve smiled.

Dancer Dragon appeared in spirit. "So, Flower and Cyclone were manipulated by the Eve Factor to destroy humans. They never truly wanted to eradicate humanity at all, the Eve Factor was influencing them!" Dancer Dragon realized.

"You weren't affected much because I hardly used you at all." Serena said.

"Now, the last piece is right in front of me and I will have it. I'll rip the Eve Factor out of your dragon and then, I'll kill you as well." Eve smiled.

"You can't kill me! You'll be going against Leo Akaba's order." Serena argued.

"The Professor doesn't care about you. He just wants his daughter back. All he needs is an empty vessel and Ray's soul. I can give him the vessel after I disintegrate your body and join it with the others and he'll rip Ray's soul from Yuya's corpse." Eve said.

"I won't let you do that! I will save the Nature Dragons, Yuzu, Ruri and Rin and protect Yuya!" Serena activated her Duel Disk.

"Fine, I could use some entertainment!" Eve activated her Duel Disk. "But I don't want any interferences!" Eve created a barrier that trapped herself and Serena.

"Serena!" Asuka shouted.

"Don't worry, I won't lose!" Serena smiled. "Let's do this, Eve!"

"Duel!" Serena and Eve declared.

Academia – Professor's Chamber

"Leo Akaba, your war ends today!" Reiji shouted.

"We're gonna kick your ass and save the Four Dimensions!" Sawatari declared.

"Too many people have suffered because of your selfish deeds! You're ARC Area Project and Revival Zero won't come to fruition!" Yuya yelled and his eyes started to glow.

"You fools. The Four Dimensions should never have existed in the first place! I've lost my home, my family so I have every right to get it back!" Leo said.

"You think Mom will accept this!" Yuya shouted.

"SILENCE!" Leo roared. "I refuse to accept that my daughter fell in love with the worthless, deadbeat Zarc Ryuga and gave birth to a failure! You three can't defeat me, I possess the Three Phantasms!" Leo held up the three cards.

"You may have the Three Phantasms, but we have the God Cards!" Yuya showed Osiris, Reiji showed Obelisk and Sawatari showed Ra.

"The Three Gods will beat the Three Phantasms!" The trio declared.

"The Three Gods and Three Phantasms fighting head on. Getting to see it up close is an honor." Atem said.

"This will be the toughest fight yet." Reira added.

"A 3 vs. 1 Irregular Duel." Leo activated his Duel Disk. "You three will start with 4000 Life Points and have your own field, while I start with triple that amount, 12,000. No player can attack on the first turn. Is that fine?"

"Bring it on!" Sawatari activated his Duel Disk.

"The war!" Reiji activated his Duel Disk.

"Ends today!" Yuya activated his Duel Disk.

"Duel!" Yuya, Reiji, Sawatari and Leo declared.

Serena vs Eve

"I'm going first! Draw!" Serena drew her card. "My Moonlight monsters…Dad's Gem Beasts…give me strength!"

"Using the Scale 1 Moonlight Wolf and the Scale 5 Gem Vanguard, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Serena set her Pendulum Scale with her and Johan's Pendulum Monsters.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 4! Brilliant moon that illuminates the night sky, turn the darkness of despair in my heart into the light of hope! Pendulum Summon! Come forth! My friends!" Two monsters came out of the portal.

"Moonlight Crimson Fox (DEF: 600, LV: 4)! Gem Beast Emerald Turtle (DEF: 2000, LV: 4)!" Serena summoned her monsters.

"Eve has three of the Nature Dragons in her possession. I can't let my guard down for even a second." Serena thought.

"I set two cards and end my turn!" Serena finished her turn.

"My turn! Draw!" Eve drew her card. "Using the Scale 1 Mystic Hell Gate and the Scale 12 Mystic Heaven Gate, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Two large gates appeared in columns of blue light.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 11! Nothing you do can stop me from reviving my beloved! Pendulum Summon! Appear! Mystic Factors!" The gates created a portal and three monsters appeared.

"Mystic Factor Melchior (ATK: 0, LV: 10)! Mystic Factor Caspar (ATK: 0, LV: 10)! And Mystic Factor Balthazar (ATK: 0, LV: 10)!" Eve summoned three monsters that had grotesque appearances.

"Three Level 10 monsters at once!" Rua panicked.

"Is she going to Xyz Summon?" Rio wondered.

"My Dueling isn't that simple." Eve said. "I activate Mystic Factor Melchior's effect! Once per turn, I can perform a Fusion Summon using this card as material with other monsters on my field without using a Fusion Magic! I fuse Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar!" The three monsters went into the spiraling vortex.

"The three become one, thereby awakening the ultimate spell from the horizons of space-time! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Phantasm Emperor Trilojig (ATK: 4000, LV: 10)!" Appearing was a large purple fiend.

"A 4000 Attack Point Fusion Monster!" Jonouchi exclaimed.

"I'm not done yet! I activate Mystic Factor Balthazar's effect! Once per turn, when this card is used as Fusion Material, by paying half of my Life Points, I can Special Summon all the Fusion Material monsters from my Graveyard! Return! Balthazar (ATK: 0, LV: 10)! Melchior (ATK: 0, LV: 10)! Caspar (ATK: 0, LV: 10)" Eve brought back her monster at the expense of her Life Points.

Eve LP: 4000→2000

"I activate the Tuner Monster, Mystic Factor Caspar's effect! Once per turn, I can lower this card's Level by two and change the Levels of my other monsters to 1!" Caspar changed the Levels of the monsters.

Caspar (LV: 10→8)
Melchior/Balthazar (LV: 10→1)

"That monster was a Tuner too?!" Rua panicked.

"I'm Tuning my Level 1 Melchior and Balthazar with my Level 8 Caspar!" Caspar turned into eight green rings and Melchior and Balthazar flew through them and together formed two stars.

"Wishes assemble to open the door to a new space and time! Synchro Summon! Appear! Time Machine God Progenitor Vulgate (ATK: 0, LV: 10)!" Eve summoned a fairy monster with the face of a man on the front and a mechanical body.

"Time Machine God?! That's like super mega ultra rare!" Rua's eyes widened.

"I activate Balthazar's other effect! Once per turn, when this card is used as Synchro Material, I pay half of my Life Points and Special Summon all Synchro Material monsters from the Graveyard!" Eve brought back the Mystic Factors.

"Then, with the Level 10 Balthazar, Melchior and Caspar, I construct the Overlay Network!" The three monsters entered the spacelike portal in front of Eve.

"Come forth, chaotic messenger of darkness! Xyz Summon! Numbers XX: Infinity Dark Hope (ATK: 4000, RNK: 10, OVU: 3)!" Eve summoned a warrior with a black sword.

"A Numbers I've never seen before!" Rio couldn't believe what she saw.

"She summoned monsters that are all legendary across time…" Asuka sweated.

"I activate Infinity Dark Hope's effect! I select one Special Summoned monster on my field and recover Life Points equal to its Attack Points at the end of my turn! I choose Dark Hope!" Eve revealed.

"So here Life Points will go up by 4000 at the end of her turn…" Serena thought.

"Battle! Time Machine God Progenitor Vulgate, attack Gem Beast Emerald Turtle!" Eve ordered.

"What?! You're attacking with a 0 Attack Point monster?!" Serena was confused.

"Careful, Serena! Those Time Machine Gods have nasty effects!" Rua shouted.

"The boy is right! Progenitor Vulgate cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects, furthermore, I take no damage from attacks involving this card!" Progenitor Vulgate struck Emerald Turtle's shell.

"Now Vulgate's other effect! After this card battles, it banishes all of my opponent's monsters until the end of this turn!" Eve revealed.

"What?!" Serena gasped as both Emerald Turtle and Crimson Fox were banished from her field.

"Now to end this Duel! Battle! Phantasm Emperor Trilojig! Direct Attack!" Trilojig charged in and reared its fist back.

"I activate my Trap Card: Moonlight Signal! I draw a card from my deck and if that monster is a Moonlight monster, the Battle Phase ends!" Serena drew her card. "I drew Moonlight Emerald Bird so the Battle Phase ends!" Trilojig retreated back to Eve's side.

"I end my turn! At the End Phase, your banished monsters return due to Vulgate's effect and my Life Points increase thanks to Dark Hope's effect." Moonlight Crimson Fox and Gem Beast Emerald Turtle returned as Eve's Life Points increased.

Eve LP: 1000→5000

"This is bad, who knows what other effects those monsters have." Jonouchi sweated.

"These are monsters of legend…" Serena looked at the monsters before she smiled and started laughing.

"What's so funny?" Eve questioned.

"Nothing is funny. I'm just excited! I'm taking on Legendary Monsters across space and time! A chance like this only comes once in a lifetime! I'm getting excited!" Serena was in joy.

"H-Hey…" Rio sweat dropped.

"You know this is a battle of life and death, right?" Rua asked.

Asuka let out a snort. "She's been spending too much time with him."

Jonouchi sighed. "Yeah, there's only one other person who can act like that." Jonouchi had seen that behavior many times too with a certain Duelist.

"Those two are definitely a perfect match." Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio thought of Yuya and Serena.

"Alright! Time to get my game on!" Serena smiled as she stared at the legendary monsters.

Yuya, Reiji and Sawatari vs Leo

"I'm going all out! My turn! Draw!" Sawatari drew his card and looked at his hand. "Let's show them the power of the sun!"

"Using the Scale 3 Abyss Actor – Extras and the Scale 8 Abyss Actor – Dandy Bi-Player, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Sawatari set his scale and his two actors appeared. "With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 4 to 7!"

"The stage is set! Now let the spotlights of the heavens shine down on the dark underworld! Pendulum Summon! Come forth! My monsters!" The portal opened and two monsters came out.

"Abyss Actor Big Star (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 3)! Abyss Actor – Mellow Madonna (ATK: 1800, LV: 7, PS: 0)!" Sawatari summoned his monsters.

"I activate Big Star's effect! Once per turn, I can add an Abyss Script from my deck to my hand!" Sawatari added a card to his hand. I activate the Magic Card: Abyss Script – Opening Ceremony! I gain 500 Life Points for every Abyss Actor monster I control!" Sawatari opened his arms as light shined down on him.

Sawatari LP: 4000→5000

"At this moment, I activate Mellow Madonna's effect! When an Abyss Script card is activated, I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Abyss Actor Pendulum Monster from my deck, but it returns to my hand during the End Phase! Come! Abyss Actor – Sassy Rookie (ATK: 1700, LV: 4, PS: 2)!" Sawatari summoned his rookie.

"Here I come, baldy! I release Big Star, Mellow Madonna and Sassy Rookie!" All three of Sawatari's monsters jumped into the air.

"Almighty protector of the sun and sky, I beg of thee please heed my cry! Transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight! I beseech thee, bless our humble game but first I shall, call out thy name! Descend The Egyptian God! The Sun Dragon of Ra!"

The entire roof of the chamber was instantly destroyed as a large yellow orb descended from the sky and started to open up to reveal the Egyptian God, Ra. Ra let out a mighty roar that made Leo wince.

"Ra's Attack and Defense Points are determined by the monsters that were used to release them!" Sawatari revealed.

Ra (ATK: 6000, DEF: 5300)

"6000 Attack Points!" Yuya smiled.

"A brilliant opening!" Reiji admitted.

"I set one card and end my turn!" Sawatari finished.

"My turn!" Reiji drew his card. "Using the Scale 1 DD Magical Savant Copernicus and the Scale 10 DD Magical Savant Newton, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Reiji set his scale. "With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 9!"

"Grand power that shakes my very soul, arise within me and become a new light that rends the darkness. Pendulum Summon! Come before me, my monsters!" Three monsters appeared.

"The three transcendental deities who rule over all kings. DDD Great Death Great King Hell Armageddon (ATK: 3000, LV: 8, PS: 4)!" Reiji summoned three copies of his ace monster.

"Next, I release my three Hell Armageddons!" Reiji's three monsters descended down to the ground.

"God of Egypt, resonate with my anger and crush all those that bring distortion to the world! Appear! The Egyptian God! The Giant Divine Solider of Obelisk (ATK: 4000, LV: 10)!" Obelisk emerged from the ground and let out a roar.

"I end my turn!" Reiji finished. "Yuya, finish our lineup!"

"Yeah! My turn!" Yuya drew his card. "Using the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya's two magicians appeared in columns of blue light.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 7! Swing, Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth! My comrades!" The pendulum swung and opened a portal and three monsters came out.

"Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)! Dice Magician (ATK: 1900, LV: 4, PS: 2)! And Volcanic Magician (ATK: 2200, LV: 6, PS: 2)!" Yuya summoned three monsters.

"I activate Dice Magician's effect! Once per turn, I can roll a die!" Dice Magician threw her die in the air and it landed on six.

"Since it landed on six, I can draw five cards!" Yuya drew new cards. "I release Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Dice Magician and Volcanic Magician!" The three monsters soared into the sky.

"Red dragon that soars through the skies of Egypt, appear now and strike down your enemies with your lightning! Descend! The Sky Dragon of Osiris!" Osiris descended from the sky and let out a roar.

"Osiris's Attack Points are determined by the number of cards in my hand! I set one card and end my turn!" Yuya finished his turn. "I have four cards left in my hand so Osiris's Attack Points are 4000!"

Osiris (ATK: 4000, DEF: 4000)

"The Three God Cards." Leo looked at the beasts. "That's a very impressive lineup. But not impenetrable."

"Then try and break this lineup if you can!" Sawatari growled.

"Oh, I plan to." Leo smiled.

Reiji LP: 4000, Hand: 0
Yuya LP: 4000, Hand: 4
Leo LP: 12,000, Hand: 5

"My turn! Draw!" Leo drew his card. "I activate three Continuous Magics! Spirit Excavation!" Leo played three of the same cards. "When these cards are activated, once per turn, I am able to Special Summon a Spirit Token to my field! That being said, I'm prohibited from Normal Summoning!" Three small spirit orbs appeared on the field.

Spirit Token (DEF: 0, LV: 1)

"Whenever you summon a monster, Osiris's effect activates! Summon Thunder Bullet! This reduces a monster's Attack Points by 2000 and if it reaches 0, they are destroyed!" Osiris opened the top of his mouth and fired three blasts.

"These tokens cannot be destroyed by monster effects!" The Tokens remained on the field even by the god's effect.

"Next, from my hand, I activate the Field Magic: Phantasm Zone!" The area around them changed into a dark and deadly area where the earth shakes, lightning struck and magma rising from the cracks of the ar.

"Here I come! I send my three Continuous Magics to the Graveyard! Divine Beast of lightning, awaken from your slumber and disintegrate all life to ashes! Appear! Lord of Striking Thunder, Hamon (ATK: 4000, LV: 10)!" Leo summoned the first Phantasm.

"Osiris' Effect! Summon Thunder Bullet!" Osiris fired its blast again.

"At this field, the Field Magic: Phantasm Zone's effect activates!" A barrier protected Hamon and the Thunder Bullet reflected towards Ra.

"Ra!" Sawatari shouted.

Ra (ATK: 6000→ 4000)

"What is this?" Reiji questioned.

"Phantasm Zone allows me to redirect an opposing monster's effect to any monster on the field as I choose so long as I have a Phantasm monster on my field. That being said, the monster whose effect that was activated can only use it once per turn! In other words, you can't use Osiris's Summon Thunder Bullet for the rest of this turn!" Leo smiled.

"Damn it…" Yuya cursed.

"I'm not done yet! I release my three Spirit Tokens!" The three tokens turned into shadows and swirled around the field. "Divine Beast that leads the Phantasms, use the darkness of our hearts and appear before us! Appear! Lord of Phantasms, Raviel (ATK: 4000, LV: 10)!" Leo summoned the second Phantasm.

"That's already two of them…" Yuya sweated.

Hamon roared at Ra which made Ra retaliate. Raviel glared down at Obelisk and Obelisk growled.

"Talk about two sides of the same coin." Sawatari noticed the parallels.

"But he has no cards in his hand! We outnumber him 3 to 2." Reiji said.

"Is that so? Reiji?" Leo smirked.

"What?" Reiji questioned.

"From the Graveyard, I activate the other effect of Spirit Excavation! By banishing these cards from the Graveyard, I can activate three Continuous Traps from my deck! Continuous Trap: Spirit Payment! I choose to activate their effects right now. I pay 1000 Life Points to draw one card from my deck!" Leo grunted as he paid his Life Points and he drew three new cards.

Leo LP: 12,000→9000

"The time is here…" Leo smiled as he held up one card.

"Here it comes!" Reiji shouted as Yuya and Sawatari prepared themselves.

"I send three Continuous Traps to the Graveyard! Divine Beast of fiery flames! Rise from the crust of the earth and burn everything in your path! Appear! Lord of Searing Flames, Uria!" Leo summoned the last Phantasm to the field.

"Uria's Attack Points are determined by the number of Trap Cards in my Graveyard! With three, Uria's Attack Points are 3000!" Leo revealed.

Uria (ATK: 3000, LV: 10)

The Three God Cards roared at the Three Phantasms and they roared in return, causing the entire chamber to shake with more ferocity.

"This pressure…" Sawatari winced.

"What power…" Reiji sweated.

"This is…a clash of Divine Beasts…" Yuya said.

"Your God Cards of light will be crushed by the Phantasm Cards of darkness! And you will all be the final sacrifices for the reconstruction of the United World!" Leo laughed maniacally.
