The world above the sea is more incredible than Penny could have ever dreamed. From her vantage point on the shore, she drinks in the sight of the busy road above her, crowded with people walking—actually walking—and carriages pulled by some sort of large creature (she thinks they're called horses). Her toes squish in the sand as she shifts excitedly, filled with anticipation.
Penny can't wait to explore all the opportunities that this exciting new world has to offer: to walk along the streets, to sing, to dance, to see one of those horses up close for herself. So much to do and see and experience.
But first, there's someone she needs to find.
And there she is. As she scans the crowd, Penny spots a girl with short, dark hair streaked with red, and brilliant silver eyes. She recognizes her at once.
It's the girl from before, the one she rescued from the shipwreck! Penny finally has a chance to meet her again.
And this time, she intends to make the most of every moment that they're together.
