Chapter 25:
Aiden's head was throbbing, he must've been drugged again, when he opened his eyes, he saw the man who took him captive, "I should've known. I should've known you would've tried to nail my ass.". It was none other than… Colonel Simmons. The guy smirks, "Hello, at last, I have you at my mercy.". He smirks. "Well, I am not begging for it yet. But don't get your hopes up.".
Simmons rolls his eyes, "I made a deal, I get what I want, she gets what she wants, but let's say there were complications.".
Aiden laughs, "Brie is a tough one, she'll get out.". Simmons tightens the restrains, and takes a hammer, "Well, maybe, but let's see how tough you are.". He brings the hammer down, breaking Aiden's left leg. Aiden wants to scream, but he holds it back. "That all you got?".
Simmons places the hammer down, and then takes an industrial drill, "Oh I have a lot of toys to play with.". Aiden looks at the drill, "Me and my big mouth!".
Kai kicks over the tool cart over, rage was an understatement, he was so close to saving his brother, now what the hell? How was he supposed to save his brother now?! "Brie, do you have any idea whose holding him hostage?". Brie holds onto the blanket they gave her, "No, I was being held captive my Aiden's crazy ex. Seriously, she needs help.". Lorne then had a thought, "Maybe she knows where he is?". Brie crosses her arms, "I doubt she'll talk.". But Kai, had a smirk, "Does she know that Aiden has a twin?".
Gabriela is being held in a white padded room, mainly to ensure that she doesn't hurt herself, but to prevent any escape. She was whimpering, begging to see her precious Aiden. The door opens, and there he is, in his Air Force uniform, and boy does he look handsome in it, he approaches her, kneels and places a hand on her cheek, "Gabriela, I missed you. My love.".
Gabriela croons slightly, "And I you, my love.". But he then turned serious, "You have to tell them where I am, you need to save me, SAVE ME!". Gabriela cries, "They'll only take you away from me.". But he smiles softly, "Nothing will tear us apart, I promise.".
"The Trust Hide Out, outside the city limits, now please, stay with me." Gabriela reaches out, but the man gets up and walks out, right to the door, Gabriela cries for him, "COME BACK! YOU PROMISED TO BE MINE! COME BACK!".
Kai exits the padded room, "I can't believe I just did that, to my own brother." he was ashamed for impersonating his brother, but he needed to do it, to save him.
Brie hugs him then, and places a kiss on his cheek, "He'll understand.". Kai looks at the uniform he borrowed, "Think she noticed? The uniform is really tight around the shoulders.". Brie shrugs, "You tell me, he complains and says it's tight at the crotch.".
Kai looks down, "I dunno, it's rather comfy down… oh.". Oh! Huh, guess he and Aiden aren't 100% identical after all.
