Chapter 65: Do you accept?
Harry was completely nervous, this was something that he had planned the whole week, the moment he knew things were about to get serious, this will be the moment that will change the relationship he shares with Andromeda, Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Nymphadora forever.
The women are stunned they didn't know how to react to Harry's proposal, of all the things he could say that was the last one they expected to hear, he caught them by surprise and they didn't know how to react.
Andromeda was completely shocked, Bellatrix gasped as she continuing staring at the younger man who was on his knees, Narcissa was on the verge of crying and Nymphadora felt happy but scared at the same time.
- So, what do you say? Would you do me the honor to marry me? – Asked Harry with a smile on his face ready to face whatever consequences might come from this decision, he was sure about what he wanted.
He knew that he was still too young to think about something like this, but he knew that he wanted this, he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his days alongside the Black sisters and Nymphadora.
- Yes… Yes, I want to marry you! – Narcissa surprised everyone as she ran towards Harry to embrace him.
Harry smiled as he caught her while she was running and lifted her on the air as she laughed happily, once he put her back on her feet, they started to kiss in front of the other girls who were surprised by the blonde's actions.
Bellatrix smirked, she walked towards Harry who was placing a ring on Narcissa's right hand, Bellatrix clarified her voice once she was close to the pair and that caught Harry and Cissa's attention.
- Well… If you're sure that you want to be by my side with all my changes of humor and all the annoying things I do then… I accept… I want to marry you too! – Bellatrix said with a soft smile on her face.
Harry moved away from Cissy and walked towards Bellatrix who was biting her lower lip, Harry got as close as he could to Bella, he decided to stare at her for a few moments as he grabbed her chin.
- Of course… That's why I want to marry you… I love all of you and all those things you said aren't an exception – Harry mumbled as he smiled softly at the middle Black sister.
- Well then… If that's what you want then... I'm not going to stop you but remember… There are no refunds! – Bellatrix said with a slight smirk on her face.
Harry laughed at her words before he finally decided to kiss the middle Black sister, Bellatrix's eyes widened once she felt Harry's lips on her own, but she quickly kissed him back, they even played with their tongues, Harry's hands moved towards her waist and he couldn't stop himself from exploring her body, they remained like that until the lack of air was becoming a problem.
Once they stopped kissing, they stared at each other for a few moments until they decided to join their foreheads, they remained like that until they regained their normal breathing pace and once they separated, Harry took Bella's right hand and got another ring, he placed it in her hand.
Andy and Dora were staring at the scene amazed at the other's women actions, but Dora felt strange inside, she knew it wasn't jealousy it was more like admiration, she didn't want to be left behind, so, she decided to walk towards where her aunt and Harry were right now.
- Hey Harry – Dora said with a slight smirk on her face.
- Dora – Harry mumbled as he stared at the metamorph.
Nymphadora got close to him once her aunt moved, she studied him for a while, she was waiting for him to say or do something.
- I must admit… That the idea of becoming your wife doesn't sound that bad Harry but there's one thing I'm curious about – Nymphadora said with interest.
- What is it? – Harry wanted to know.
- Well, many people say that after you get married, sex decreases in a relationship, and to be honest… I love having mindblowing sex with you and the girls, so... I want you to promise me that it will be the same once we get married – Nymphadora said and Harry knew what it was all about.
- Don't worry Dora… Sex will continue just like we've been doing it lately– Harry smiled at the green-haired girl.
Nymphadora remained thoughtful for a while, she was trying to analyze the pros and cons of a decision like this, she was going to spend the rest of her days with Harry, and frankly, that idea was amazing, just the mere thought of them starting a family was more than enough to make the metamorph blush.
She also needed to take into consideration her age, she didn't want to have the same destiny as her aunts, she didn't want to marry when she gets older, Nymphadora got out of her thinking pose and looked at Harry for a few seconds.
- I accept… I will marry you! – She said as she smiled at him.
Harry smiled too after hearing her answer, he was getting happier as time passed by, he embraced Nymphadora and decided to kiss her, the metamorph tried to climb on his body and he helped her, in just a few seconds, they were already kissing while Nymphadora was being lifted.
They stopped kissing and Harry placed Nymphadora back on the ground, Harry caressed the metamorph's cheeks and kissed them before he grabbed her hands, he made another ring appear and placed it on her right hand.
Nymphadora was amazed, she couldn't help but admire her ring, she quickly moved towards where her aunts were and they decided to compare the rings, Bellatrix ring had a dark diamond, Narcissa's one had a topaz and Nymphadora had a rainbow stone, it changed into many different types of stones depending on the current mood of the person, right now Nymphadora felt happy, so, the ring had a diamond.
While the girls were comparing their rings, Harry was waiting for the last one to answer the question, Andromeda was on her feet completely stunned, she was surprised that her sisters and daughter accepted so easily the proposal, but this was a very important decision for Andromeda.
- So… What will your answer be Andy? – Asked Harry as he walked towards the older woman with a slight smirk on his face.
Harry walked slowly towards where Andy was, she gulped as she saw him getting close to her, and once Harry got where Andy was, he placed his hands on her waist, and kissed her neck, Andy couldn't help but moan softly, but then she remembered the question Harry made and she didn't know what to do.
This shouldn't be a surprise, Andy has been already married, and things didn't end up that well in her first marriage for obvious reasons that she knew she couldn't control, but still, that made her feel insecure about a decision like this one, she was taking her time to make a decision and she knew that it was making Harry feel a little bad even if he was waiting patiently for her to answer.
- I'm sorry Harry… But… Sorry! – Those were the only words Andromeda could say before she ran away from here.
Harry was left completely stunned, he didn't know why she acted like that, he was expecting her to accept, they had shared some amazing moments and she wanted to be with him, she had told him many times before, so, he was confused why she decided to not accept the proposal.
- Harry… Follow her – Nymphadora said from behind catching everyone's attention.
Harry looked at the younger woman for a few moments and then he nodded before he decided to run as fast as he could towards where Andromeda went, as for the older woman, she was hiding behind some rocks, close to the sea, she was sitting on the ground, she was hugging her knees as she sobbed.
- Why? Why didn't I say yes to him!? I want to be with him! – Andy asked herself.
She knew she had done something weird, her actions were unexpected and she knew that, but she couldn't help but remember her late husband, once she saw Harry's face as he proposed, it was as if she got back to the past.
Andy was scared, she was on the lake close to Hogwarts, she was sitting on a rock as she stared at the water and the many creatures that could be seen from the surface, she smiled softly at the creatures, she envied them right now as she had lots of problems she had to deal with, she wasn't even out of school and yet, she was already pregnant.
She felt stupid and useless, she hated herself right now, no one knew about the father of her child because she had been keeping her relationship with him as a secret, it was a forbidden romance that no one should know, but it was already too late, she felt as if her life has been ruined.
But this was the first time she experienced something like this, to be loved and cherished in the way her dear Ted did was something amazing, she felt as if she could overcome every obstacle that could be put in front of her when she's with Ted.
But right now she's worried, she wanted her parents to meet Ted, but not for this reason, she knew that her parents will dislike him as he's a muggle-born wizard, her parents hate anything related to muggles.
Andromeda was too immersed in her thoughts, staring at the horizon on this rainy evening, she was too worried to think about anything else, right no she wished that she was one of those creatures from the water or maybe a bird, this situation was too much for Andy, but suddenly, all her thoughts were interrupted when another person joined her, it was a curly, brown-haired tall young man.
- So you were here, uh? – Said the young man surprising Andy who suddenly stopped thinking about what she was thinking previously, she was staring at the person who decided to be with her right now.
- Ted! – Andy was surprised.
She thought she had been hiding well, but it seems like it took no effort for the young man to find her, which disappointed her a little, but still, she was too worried about other things to care about this.
- You've been acting strange lately… I was worried – Said Ted with a serious expression.
Andy didn't know what to say, she wanted to tell him the truth, but she fears that if she does that, he'll dump her, and she couldn't bear the thought of him leaving her, if he abandons her she doesn't know what she's going to do with their child, she was young and scared after all.
Andy remained in silence, she didn't want to face the curly-haired man, he sighed and decided to put himself in front of her, she was looking everywhere but him, and suddenly, he decided to grab her chin and get her close to him so she could now face him.
Ted's eyes widened once he saw that Andy was crying.
- Andy… What's wrong? Please… I want to help you – Said the younger man as he got on his knees and kissed the young woman's elbows.
Andy just started to sob, Ted quickly got close to her and embraced her to comfort her, he didn't know what else to do, but he tried his best to make her feel better, they remained like that for a while until Andy felt better and stopped sobbing, she decided to wipe her tears, she knew she had to tell Ted about their child, at least he will be aware of its existence.
- Ted… there's something I need to tell you – Andy started and Ted just stared at her.
He knew that something bad might have happened for her to act like this, she's rarely this serious and he was getting worried.
- What is it, Andy? Please tell me that you're okay! – Ted tried to make her feel better.
Andy quickly shook her head and decided to face him.
- Ted… I'm pregnant – She confessed bluntly, there was no point for her to be discreet, she already wanted to tell him and get over with it, she will deal with the consequences later.
Ted's eyes widened, of all the things Andy could tell him, he didn't expect her to say that.
- Ted… I'm scared – She mumbled as she stared at the stunned young man.
He didn't say anything and that worried Andy, that was making her feel worse, she felt the tears threatening to fall, she got on her feet and she was ready to run away from there but Ted stopped her and grabbed her wrist to get her close to him.
- Andromeda… I know this is sudden but… Everything's going to be alright… I'm not going to leave you alone I promise you… - Ted managed to say and the woman's eyes widened – I know this might be sudden but… I was planning to do it anyway after graduation… Andy – Mumbled the young man – Would you marry me? – He asked with a smile on his face, he looked sure of his words, there was no doubt in his decisions.
Andy accepted happily, she furiously nodded and she was hopeful that their marriage was going to be hard, but she was hopeful that things will get better as long as he was with her.
That moment where she discovered that she knew she was carrying Nymphadora, she was scared and worried, and the future seemed dark to her, but then, her late husband told her that everything was going to be okay, but in the end, things didn't end up too well.
Andromeda continued sobbing until she felt someone hugging her from behind.
- Harry… - Mumbled Andy trying to control herself.
- Andy… I don't know what happened back there but… It's okay if you don't want to accept my proposal, I know that it might be too sudden so, we'll wait for you… Don't worry – Harry tried to ease her worries.
- Harry… The reason I felt bad it's because it reminded me of the time when Ted proposed to me… You know well how the story ended – Andy said in a sad tone.
Harry felt bad, he made her remember something painful, he wanted to punch himself.
- Andy… It doesn't have to be like that for us – Harry told her – You know me well, you know that I always fulfill my promises… And I'm going to do my best to be the best husband for you girls… I have no doubts about that – Harry said in a tone that shocked Andromeda.
He looked so secure, so confident about himself, there was nothing that could stop him right now. She tried to deny herself from accepting the proposal, but she knew that she was lying to herself, she wanted this, she wanted to make him happy, she still felt a little insecure but, she wanted to give him an opportunity.
Andy wiped her tears and looked at Harry.
- Harry… I'm not sure about how things will end up between us, as you can see I'm a little delicate in some aspects, but… Please, take care of me – She smiled at him while she had some tears in her eyes – I accept! – She added and Harry's grin widened.
She felt some doubts, but still, she wanted to give it a chance to this, after all, they've been living together for so many years in the same house, and lately, they've been acting like a married couple, but now, everything was going to be official, she was nervous and scared about the future.
