Chapter 66: Harry, the Black sisters, and Nymphadora.
Harry was so nervous right now that he felt that he could throw up, he was in a big room, and he was dressed in a black suit with a red tie, the day finally came, the day he had been looking for since the day he proposed marriage to the Black sisters and Nymphadora, and after a month the day finally came, they had to hurry before Narcissa's belly started to show up.
After many disastrous things, the planning was the hardest thing as Nymphadora and the Black sisters decided to take care of everything it was kind of a mess, they had many conflicts, but still, in the end, they managed to pick the right location, it was known location for Harry and even if it brought him a few bad memories back, he knew that it was time to move on, he wanted to create happy memories on this place… Potter's mansion.
But still, that was the easiest part of the whole thing, the hardest part was revealing to the rest of the world what he was about to do, he even had to hold a press conference, explaining why he was marrying four women.
The reason that he gave the rest of the world is that the Potter and Black families had a contract about joining their families every certain generation, this contract specified that they need to strengthen their bonds as the Potters were the first allies of the Black family, and also, the contract specified that they could lose their magic if they don't accept.
The proof for this contract was that Harry's grandmother, his father's mother was from the Black family, his father didn't have to marry a Black but his son needed to do it, so, as the last member of the Potter family, and the sisters and Nymphadora being the last females of the Black family, then there was no other way to do it, they had to marry each other.
Of course, all of this was a lie, but Harry knew that he couldn't tell the truth to the rest of the world, he couldn't tell them that he was marrying them because he loved the Black sisters and Nymphadora, but he knows that if he tells the rest of the world the real reasons, they might even destroy him publically, they could call him names and probably label him as some kind of womanizer with a king's complex that wants to have a harem.
Harry already was seeing the public outrage that would cause if he tells the truth to the rest of the world, so, he decided to lie to them, it was for their best interests, he wasn't happy that he had to do that, but it was necessary for the world's safety, and this lie instead of hate towards him, caused admiration from the population, the women were a little sad that the man they admired and loved was getting married but they also respected him because he was doing it to protect the world, if he loses his magic, the world might face a fatal end.
Men are jealous of Harry, he managed to score four beautiful women just for himself, the Black sisters and Nymphadora are beautiful, they're probably the most beautiful women in the whole wizarding world, but Harry doesn't care about those men, he's confident enough to not care about what the haters might think about him.
The only persons he cared beside his family and close friends, were the death eaters that could harm his family, but he was happy to know that most of them were sentenced to the dementor's kiss and the lesser and weakest ones were locked up in Azkaban.
- Mate… Are you ready? – Harry heard a known voice.
He looked behind to see his best friend Ron Weasley, he was dressed in a blue suit and looked expectantly at his friend who was on the ground contemplating his life.
- Harry… What's going on? – Asked Ron as he walked towards where his friend was to help him to get on his feet.
Harry tried to look as calm as he could, but it was useless, he was too nervous to do or say anything, Ron did the wisest thing he could think of, he took his friend to the bed of the room and searched around the place and then he found the magic potion that he looking for: whisky.
He took a bottle and little by little he made his friend swallow some, this was going to help him, in the muggle world if you get drunk before your wedding it's a sign that things might end up in a mess, but thankfully, alcohol didn't affect wizards in the same as it does to muggle-born people, alcohol was completely healthy in the wizarding world and you really needed great quantities to get wasted.
Once he swallowed some of the whisky, Harry finally calmed down, he was breathing normally once again.
- Oh god… That's was weird – Harry mumbled as he looked at his best friend.
- Come on mate… We're getting close, I know that you may not want to marry the people that you grew up with but… At least you're not going to lose your magic and the best thing of all this is that at least you're going to marry people that you know and not completely strangers – Ron told him with a smile on his face.
Harry remained in silence for a while, he was trying to process his best friend's words before he smiled at him.
- You're right Ron… But that's not why I am so nervous… The reason is that I don't feel enough to fulfill the role of their husband – Harry said calmly – I suddenly feel like they're going to get disappointed about being with me when they could easily have any man better than me – Harry confessed and Ron remained in silence for a while.
- Mate… You're the best person I've ever meet… Even if this marriage is fake, you all can continue with your lives like you always have… It doesn't have to change but at least if you're married you won't have to worry about them being disappointed, they love you Harry – Ron smiled at his best friend, Harry smiled softly – Also, there's something you need to know… It seems that my mom told Ginny that Andromeda was looking forward to this wedding just like her sisters so… Cheer up mate! – Ron confessed and Harry's eyes widened.
He didn't know how to feel about that, but at least that gave him more confidence to finally face what was about to come.
Harry was about to say something when suddenly, another man appeared, he had long curly hair, he was older than them and he was using a brown suit.
- Come on Harry, it's time to do it – The man said with a soft smile.
Harry's eyes widened, he couldn't believe that he was seeing Sirius once again, he told him that he wasn't going to make it to the wedding.
- Sirius, It thought that you weren't coming? - Harry asked amazed.
- And lose the wedding between my cousins and my godson? I couldn't bear the thought! - Sirius said with fake enthusiasm - Thank you for doing this, I'm sure the curse will be broken - Sirius whispered into his ear and Harry nodded at him nervously, the older man still believe in the prophecy.
Still, his presence brought Harry some confidence, and now, he was ready to face what was about to come.
Harry nodded and accompanied his best friend alongside his godfather, a few minutes later and they were already in the backyard of Potter's mansion, it was huge, there was a big land with green grass and also many trees surrounding the area, the place was beautiful, many people were occupying the chairs and also, there it was a known person that he wasn't expecting to see in the front, an older raven-haired man, using a black cloak.
- I'm still shocked that professor Snape would be the one to officiate this wedding – Ron whispered to his friend and they walked close to the man.
- Yea… It's always the one you don't expect – Harry told him and both of them chuckled.
- Potter… Weasley… Stop with that, I'm here for work and nothing else, act like the way you're supposed to act – Snape told them and they got serious suddenly.
- Yes sir – That's the only thing Harry said, he didn't want to get in more trouble with the older man, he didn't him to curse him or something like that.
Ron was trying to calm Harry who was still nervous but less than when he found him in the room where he was changing, but suddenly, the claps and screams of many people startled them and the moment they looked behind, they were surprised to see the Black sisters and Nymphadora walking side by side, they were using long white dresses and their faces were covered in a veil.
Their honor maids were dressed in Black to honor their family name, alongside Andromeda there it was Ron's mother Molly Weasley, beside Bellatrix there it was Amelia Bones as beautiful as always, Narcissa was walking side by side with a light-skinned woman, her best friend Francesca Zabini, and with Nymphadora, using a black suit Hestia was accompanying her.
Harry couldn't stop staring at the women and once they took off their veils, he gulped at the sight, they looked stunning, and for the first time in many years, Nymphadora decided to honor her mother by having long, curly, brown hair.
- Good evening… Today we're reunited to witness the union between the Potters and the Black family, just as their magical contract stated – Snape started.
The older man continued and gave a speech about the importance of marriage for wizards, it wasn't something to be taken lightly, and he looked at Harry with a stern expression as he said this, the younger man felt uncomfortable while the women just laughed at his reaction, the speech continued for almost fifteen minutes and Harry was having a hard time to not fall asleep.
- Well, now that's we're finished talking about the importance of marriage, is time for the protagonists of this ceremony to voice their vows to each other – Snape said calmly – We're going to do it from the eldest woman to the youngest – Snape said calmly but still he managed to offend Andy about her age.
Andromeda decided to forget about this jerk's words and she moved towards where Harry was standing, the younger man was biting his lower lip, the moment Andy took his hands he felt as if he had lost the ability to speak, the older woman was beautiful this evening.
Because they had to make this wedding look as if it was an arranged marriage, they knew that their vows had to be formal, luckily, they said their real vows two days ago on the same beach where Harry proposed at the twilight hour.
- Harry… You're the most amazing person I have ever known, you've always been by my side, and during my darkest days you managed to make me feel better, the fact that you're standing here means a lot to me and I'd be happy to spend the rest of my days with you… To have your children for you and me to raise them together and be with you through the good and bad times… I love you, never forget about that – Andy said with a soft smile on her face.
- Andy… It's hard for me to express the way I feel about you… You've been always by my side… Teaching me things that helped me to survive through life, and giving me the emotional support I couldn't find anywhere, I'm honored to stand by your side this moment and I'm eager to spend the rest of my days with you… I love you – He said with a soft smile on his face that made Andy tear up a little.
Andy moved as it was now time for Bella, she quickly took Harry's hands and she stared directly at the younger man.
- Harry… I always thought that there wasn't going to be a man enough for me, after your mother's death I thought that I wouldn't love anyone once again, but it seems like Lily's destiny wasn't for her to be by my side but to give me the person that I love most… I love everything about you, the way you never give up and you always manage to beat the odds even if they're against you, your amazing personality, your kindness, all those traits had made me fall in love with you and I'm happy to be with you at his moment, to face everything, and to continue supporting you through good and bad times… I love you – Bella said with a slight smirk on her face.
- Bella… My dear Bella, the most awesome fighter I've ever known in my short life… Without you, I don't think if I would have been able to do things that I was scared of doing… I always saw you as a hero, you arrested criminals and that always motivated me to be better… To overcome every obstacle in my life, I hope you never change… Your personality is amazing, that was the thing that made me fall for you… I love you Bella – Harry said calmly as he caressed the middle Black sister's cheeks.
Bella blushed at his words, but she decided to give her younger sister her chance.
- Harry… Anything I could say about you will seem short and pointless compared to what you gave me… You've given me the chance to experience something I've been longing for a long time… You gave me the chance to become a mother and there's no other way for me to pay you by giving you my complete loyalty, my love, and my body… I'm all yours Harry, you did it, you made me fall for you and I don't regret it at all… I love you – Cissa said as she caressed one of his cheeks and her belly as she told him that.
- Cissa, the sun of my darkest days, the sweetest person I've ever meet… The funny aunt, you say that I gave you the chance to become a mother and you're giving me the honor of bearing my child, you're giving me the chance to become a father… I know that you will be an amazing mother and I swear that I will always be on your side with our children… I love you Cissa – Harry said with a soft smile before he went on his knees to kiss her belly.
Cissa blushed after he did that, she decided to move to give Nymphadora her chance.
- Harry… - Dora started seriously – You know me well, you know about my constant changes and still… You wanted to be by my side… That completely melted my heart, I've felt like such a fool for what I did… I've wasted time that I could've used to be with you… But I'm looking towards the future, I want to see what it has in store for us… You're my best friend Harry and the man I love most I promise you to be by your side forever – Nymphadora said trying her best to not cry.
- Dora… My strange and weird Dora, the pandora's box of my life… You're always full of surprises, I don't know how you manage to do it, but you always manage to surprise me, you're the first girl I've ever seen as a woman… Being with you will be an honor, and it's a dream that's becoming true… I love you Dora – Harry said as the sun finally set.
Harry, the Black sisters, and Nymphadora shared a hug as they stared at the horizon, they were nervous but hopeful about their future.
After they said their normal vows about respecting each other and their marriage, Harry placed a better version of the rings he gave them the other day, their rings still contained their favorite stones, but this time, they had Harry's initials added with a magical ink made of emeralds, it always glowed, the women, on the other hand, gave their rings to Severus who conjured a spell that turned their four rings into just one that had their initials and also it had an emerald stone, Harry placed it calmly on his finger.
- Well, now that everything is set… If there's anyone who's opposed to this wedding it's time to speak... Or be silent forever – Snape said in a cold tone.
Anyone who wanted to speak was now silenced due to the tone Snape used, and no one dared to raise their voice or their hands, Harry's friends felt as If they've thrown back in time to Snape's class.
- Well then… I officially declare you husband and wives… You can now kiss them! – Snape said and Harry nodded.
Even if the public thought that this was an arranged marriage, they still celebrated, as Harry shared a kiss separately with each woman, magical birds started to fly through the place, just as petals of flowers with the colors of the rainbow fell through the place, everyone cheered at them, yes, this was the start of a new life for Harry, the Black sisters, and Nymphadora, Sirius was looking proudly at his godson from one of the chairs, he was sacrificing for the family, he truly earned his respect.
