Cody was very nervous to come to this interview, he knew about the drama surrounding him but he still made an effort to be polite as he sat in the interview room.
"Ah Cody, glad that we got you today." Josh smirked, "We got a lot to cover today I imagine. But first, let's start off easy, anything to say about Ezekiel?"
Cody took a breath and began speaking, "No not really. I did find him kind of chill and we did speak a few times but then he became feral and… yeah, that ended badly."
"Fair enough." Josh nodded before the picture switched to Noah, "So apparently you vented and even cried to Noah about your time in World Tour. That's interesting."
"Keep in mind, I felt like an absolute outcast in that team. I had every right to cry and I felt like he and Tyler would be the only ones who would listen. I felt it'd be less awkward for Noah since he's used to me being emotional and all that. Basically what Noah told you in his interview, we're still good friends." Cody explained.
"So apparently you and Justin flirted a bit during your boyband days. Care to elaborate if anything more happened?" Josh gave a sleazy smirk to which Cody just rolled his eyes at.
"Oh I hate to break it to you, but Justin was merely a bisexual awakening to me. He has a body to die for, but not my type at all. He's not bad once you get to know him, but he is not someone high on my attractions list." Cody smirked back.
"Fair enough. We're skipping Katie and Sadie since you hardly interacted with them, so let's get to Tyler next." Josh told the geek as Tyler's picture appeared next.
"He's a cool guy and one of the few people I actively talked to in Playa De Losers. He pretty much covered most of our time there together and in Action, I did have to help break up a fight between him and Noah, but I sided with Tyler more than Noah. Then there's World Tour, where me, him, Noah, and Owen all had a pact to eliminate Sierra but that plan never followed through because of Alejandro." Cody smiled fondly but sighed a little when he mentioned how their four person alliance plan fell flat, "We're still good friends today though, even if he is hanging out with Alejandro."
Next up was Beth, and Cody chuckled a bit, "Other than Tyler, I talked to Beth a lot on Playa De Losers. She apologized for letting me almost drown back at the dock and we bonded over our nerdy interests. Though after the other two seasons we didn't get to talk much, still a good person though. I'd like to speak to her again.
Josh silently smirked as he clicked on the remote and Courtney's picture came up and Cody's eyes immediately narrowed, "I don't hate her but I never liked her either. Her whining was obnoxious, her hypocrisy and entitlement was anger inducing, and she was insufferable as a teammate. Say what you will about Heather, but at least she owned her reputation. Courtney never acknowledged when she was wrong and played victim if you dared to criticize her. I didn't feel bad for her when she got cheated on, my complicated crush on Gwen played a part in it, but I couldn't feel bad for her when she acted so pathetic about it. There were apparently rumors that Courtney used her lawyers to get me and Owen cut from All Stars at the casting party due to my affiliations with Gwen, Heather, and to a lesser extent, Sierra since I was originally one of the contenders for that season and I am really hoping that is not the case because that'd just make me lose more respect for her. Maybe she's not as awful as I remember her now, but going by the past, I can't really stand her that much."
"Fair enough." Josh nodded, satisfied where this was going and Harold's picture came up next.
"Fun fact; I was the only one to tried to defend Harold from the slander he was getting at Playa De Losers. I could tell he was really sorry about what he did, but Geoff was really adamant about how nasty Harold was to rig Courtney out of the game and Courtney tried to throttle me if I dared to say anything positive about him. Another reason to be annoyed by her, might I add. I did secretly get him some food when I had the chance and because of that and our shared interests, we became friends quickly." Cody said happily.
Next up was Eva's picture and Cody shrugged his shoulders, "I have nothing to say on her. She's Noah's friend and all but we never really interacted."
"That makes sense." Josh shrugged before Trent's picture came up, "So how come you were so cool with each other despite the whole Gwen thing yet you hated Duncan for it. Kinda hypocritical man."
"If there's anything I WILL defend myself about my past actions, it is that I found Trent to be a way better guy for Gwen than Duncan ever was. I still stand by that, even if I was mostly selfish that day. Trent and I got along very well when we first interacted and that carried on through all the challenges until I got booted, even then, we still got on well. Speaking of Island, I did NOT vote for him in Not Quite Famous. That theory seriously needs to die. I was immature back then, not petty. So because of our interest in music, we decided to form the Drama Brothers and once we got Justin and Harold on board, it was on. There seems to be something going on between him and Gwen again but I didn't bother to interfere in Gwen's love life again." Cody told the interview host.
"Fair enough. Did you ever interact with Bridgette?" Josh asked as Bridgette's picture came up.
"Not really but I do not really respect her that much for how she slandered Gwen over her relationship issues when she was out there in World Tour sucking face with Alejandro and practically throwing herself at him. She's not terrible though. Next person." Cody explained in annoyance.
Josh then pressed the remote and Lindsay was next, "So did you two have any intimate moments together? You did save her from that quicksand after all."
Cody laughed out loud once he heard this and wiped a tear from his eye, "Lindsay might be hot, there is no question, but I'm attracted to bold and intelligent girls and Lindsay's not dumb by any means but she's not exactly what I'm into. Still a sweet girl though."
DJ was next on the screen and Cody shrugged, "We're on good terms and all but other than the Island special, we didn't have much interaction."
Josh grunted before Izzy's picture was shown next, "So anything you got to say about Izzy?"
Cody grumbled before saying, "I do actually. I hold a bit of resentment for her constant gay jokes about me and Noah, we both HATED it and she would not stop throwing it around when she was in the resort with us and I did not approve of how she treated Owen in World Tour. Not her number one fan, I'll tell you that."
Josh smirked before getting Geoff's picture out, "So you said you and Geoff interacted a bit. Discuss that please."
"So I already mentioned how he wouldn't stop demonizing Harold for the one mistake he made after being abused by his own teammates, but there's also the fact that he turned out to be a major asshole in the aftermath who treated everyone like shit because he wanted to boost popularity to the show. He was making suggestive comments about being with other girls in front of Bridgette in the second aftermath, and honestly, I think that's why Bridgette cheated on him. Their relationship was seriously unhealthy at the time World Tour was airing and I hope to god that they've improved since then." Cody sighed in annoyance.
Leshawna's picture was next to come up and Josh said, "Harold and Gwen are close with you so you MUST have interacted with Leshawna at some point."
"Yeah, me and Leshawna interacted a bit in season one to finalize a four person alliance between me, her, Gwen, and Trent… until I got voted out for my bear attack. I called her out for flirting with Alejandro and sending mixed signals towards Harold in season three and she straight up snubbed me for it." Cody began explaining, "She did apologize to me once the season ended which did put her back in her good graces… although I do feel she was trying to turn me against Heather after what she did in her season four cameo. She has good intentions, and I do like her but we have had some differences."
Josh smirked once Duncan's picture came up, "So how come you hated Duncan so much anyway? You seemed to despise him once he ended up kissing Gwen."
"Quite simply, I never bought his Tough Guy with a Heart Of Gold act for a SECOND. Oh, he gives DJ a new bunny and suddenly he's peachy keen with the cast?" Cody rolled his eyes with a mocking laugh before turning sour, "He was still an asshole to Harold, he still backstabbed Geoff when he voted a way he didn't like, he still interfered in Gwen and Trent's relationship, he still attacked Tyler because of the kiss being exposed, and he still cheated on his girlfriend. What's sad is that he does have a soft side but refuses to show it and even denies it exists. He's just a degenerate, that's it."
"Whoa, that was shorter than I expected." Josh said before he smirked at the next picture, "So you and Heather had some sort of thing that's been teased for a few interviews now. It's time to share your piece."
Cody gulped, but knew this was coming eventually so he took a deep breath before explaining, "So in season three, we didn't interact much. We started out a bit negatively with her forcing me to help cheer up Sierra and all, but after I was done venting to Noah, she ended up awkwardly admitting that I had a lot of patience to deal with Sierra like that. I think she heard me crying that day, but she never told me if she did or not. In Jamaica, Alejandro was flirting with all the girls on my team and making me insecure about myself since well… I'm scrawny and all so I talked a bit with Heather since she was also annoyed with the flirting and we got along well. We both vented about our shared annoyances and enjoyed the sense of realism we brought each other. We really bonded. I began catching feelings for her but I was afraid to push Heather away from me because of my hormones as I thought it was some silly crush and I was already trying to make progress with Gwen."
Cody then began to look remorseful, "I think that just made her feel neglected, and I could tell I made her feel bad because of it especially because I was trying to get Gwen's attention more and more after the whole Duncan ordeal and to get over the awkwardness Heather was giving me. Once Gwen was gone, I couldn't avoid her anymore. In the flight to Sweden, she actually was trying to get Alejandro and MY attention. It was a bit much, but I could tell she wanted to talk to me again so I did after the whole Courtney vote failed to come through so I did." He then brightened up some more, "Once the teams merged, we were back to normal and I was finally able to see Heather as more of a friend as time went on even after the show ended despite the feelings I felt. We kept in contact after season three ended and when she pulled her stunt in season four, I was the only one who was willing to stand by her after her little zeppelin incident. What she did was too far and I let her know that but I wasn't gonna abandon her over it, especially since she was robbed from her winnings."
"So what happened after all that? Tyler had explained that her and Alejandro's breakup had something to do with you." Josh asked curiously.
"Well, it was clear Heather and Alejandro were having issues so I was a shoulder for Heather to lean onto, and no, I did NOT try to break them up as Tyler cleared up in his interview. They broke up on Heather's own terms. After that, our friendship became more intimate and… I think you can see where it went from there. We had sex, and it was the best experience of my life. In the end, me and Heather decided to be a couple and we're still going strong today." Cody said happily.
Josh smirked at the next photo and Cody rolled his eyes when he saw Gwen's picture.
"We're just friends. Everything you saw on camera was what you got from us, and we became closer after I got over her." Cody spoke angrily, "I prefer not to relive my idiocy back then even if I do enjoy Gwen's company."
"So how about Owen? Did you interact much with him off camera?" Josh asked curiously.
"Same with Gwen, you got what you saw from us in Island, but in World Tour, we were talking more between us, Noah, and Tyler about our dudes alliance to boot off Sierra in the merge and we kinda drifted apart once Duncan came back and Noah and Tyler left but we're still friends." Cody admitted with an awkward smile.
Josh smiled at that before smirking once he saw Sierra's photo, "Oh my. What do you have to say about Sierra?"
Cody's eye twitched when he saw her photo before breathing in and out, "She was just as bad in World Tour as she was on camera. I tried to set a friendship with her but she became more and more clingy and by the time she pulled her stunt in All Stars, I had to cut her off. She ended up going to rehab and I heard she's doing better now, but… I'd still rather not interact with her."
"Finally, we have Alejandro. Being Heather's ex and all, you must have dirt on him, so come on and share it." Josh said excitedly.
"So yeah, I didn't really get a chance to interact with him until Easter Island where he and I were in first class. He seemed nice but then he turned out to be the way he was. Fun fact, Heather was really angry when Alejandro took me up to first class. At first I thought she was jealous since rumor was spreading that Alejandro tried to flirt with Noah, but it turns out she was starting to get protective over me after what Sierra did in Africa and was mad at how I was ignoring her warnings about Alejandro. Maybe that's why she put Sierra and me in loser class that day, but I don't know." Cody admitted, "Anyway, despite my relationship with Heather, he doesn't seem to be mad at me for their breakup, just Heather. I still avoid him though."
"Did you keep contact with any of the newbies?" Josh asked curiously.
"Mike, Zoey, and Cameron. I met them through Gwen and I really got along with them." Cody smiled enthusiastically when he mentioned them, "I also got along with Sam, Sky, and Dave pretty well, but other than that, I didn't keep contact with the newbies. Honestly, Total Drama really changed my life, at first I was pretty pathetic but I definitely grew from my old perverted mindset so I could get a better future."
"I'm glad things worked out for you. Glad you could join us." Josh said happily before Cody sighed happily and walked out of the room.
Author's Note: Yep, Cody's finally done but the dirt on him is NOT over yet. We still have other contestants to interview after all and some of them will have stuff to say about him.
