"Will his guard be a problem?" Maximus, Sr. asked responded on the other end of the call from the backseat of his car.

"Trent, no," Lorenzo said, "He's on our side."

"We'll have to rough him up just enough to make it believable," Maximus said, "Are you sure about this? I have my doubts about Morgan making a move even with this incentive. It could back fire."

"And yet, you're still willing to do this," Lorenzo said.

"If as you told me, Kellie doesn't want to run the business or head up the family," Maximus said, "She shouldn't have to. Provided Morgan acts as we hope, that should resolve that issue. I can make arrangements for someone to take the fifth spot at the table if an even number of families causes a problem. However, if Morgan doesn't step up, do you have a back-up plan so Kellie doesn't have to take over the business?"

"I'll step in myself to keep that from happening," Lorenzo said, "And hope my wife forgives me."

"Alexis Davis is a Cassadine, is she not?" Maximus asked, "I believe she'd understand one's shadier impulses more than anyone. She's certainly dated and married her share of dark men. Compare to some of her exes, most would consider you, how shall I put it, a safe choice."

Lorenzo didn't reply.

"Anyway, it's been a pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Alcazar," Maximus said, "Let me know if there is anything else I can do for Kellie and her children."

Church Foyer

Monica was standing in the foyer of the church when she looked up to see Sonny coming through the doors.

Monica marched over to Sonny and slapped him, "How dare you show your face here?"

"Monica, I'm just here to pay my respects to Charles and support my daughter," Sonny said, wincing and rubbing his jaw.

"So you can what, absolve yourself of any guilt, because you're telling yourself you did the right thing?" Monica yelled, "You are the reason, Charles was killed. You have audacity to show up here pretending to care."

"We both know that's not true," Sonny said.

"Dad, maybe you should," Dante started to say, coming up along side him.

"Stay out of this, Dante," Sonny said.

"Go home," Kellie's voice boomed from across the church as she quickly walked towards him and Monica, "You were told not to show up here and you did any way."

"Kellie, I just want to be here…."Sonny protested.

"And that's the problem," Kellie replied, "It's about what you want, not what the rest of us want or need."

"Sonny," Jason said, coming alongside him, "Let's go."

"Are you serious?" Sonny replied, "You're not going to try to smooth things over."

"I told you neither Monica or Kellie wanted you here," Jason said, "Today you're going to do what they asked, what they need."

"Jason, come on," Sonny said, "You know I'm here because I care about my daughter."

"Sonny, now is not the time to push," Jason said as Lorenzo joined them

"I'm more than happy to escort you out, Corinthos," Lorenzo said.

"Come on, Sonny," Jason said, attempting to direct Sonny out of the church.

"Is this how it is?" Sonny said, glaring at Jason, "You know me. How am I supposed to make amends with my daughter if she won't even talk to me? When she showed up for Mike's funeral years ago against my wishes, I allowed her to stay."

"That's it," Lorenzo said, grabbing Sonny and starting to drag him towards the door.

Sonny shoved Lorenzo, "Touch me again and I'll…."

"And you'll what, Corinthos?" Lorenzo asked.

"Really, Sonny," Monica exploded, "That's your best argument for staying where you're not wanted is you allowed your daughter stay for her grandfather's funeral. You aren't even related to Charles, the only thing you had in common was Kellie and his nephews who work for you and you can't even give her or any of us who were actually close to him the decency to grieve without making a scene."

"Is there a problem here?" Jordan asked, approaching the group.

"There's no problem here," Kellie said, "He was just leaving."

Sonny considered his options, glared at everyone, and stormed out of the church. Jason went to follow Sonny to ensure he got in his car.

"We will be having a discussion about this," Sonny said, realizing Jason was behind him. Jason didn't respond.

Jason watched the car drive away as Max and Francis came out to check on him.

"Do it," Jason finally said, "What we talked about. I can't afford wait any longer."

Somewhere down the road

Trent was driving down a somewhat secluded stretch of road when the car lurched several times and Trent pulled the car over

"What's going on?" Sonny asked.

"One of the engine lights is also blinking," Trent said, unbuckling his seat belt, "Let me take a look."

"Hurry it up," Sonny said as Trent got out of the car and went to open the hood. Sonny also got out of the car.

"You know what," Sonny said, "I'm gonna take a walk, clear my head. Yell for me when it's fixed."

"Please don't do that, Mr. Corinthos. At least wait for the car with the rest of the security team to catch up," Trent said, "Let me make a call."

"I'll just be right over there," Sonny said, walking off, "It'll be fine. Just get the car fixed."

"Where are the other guys?" Trent muttered, pulling out his phone and making a call.

"Frank, where are you?" Trent asked, following Sonny from a distance, "Something's wrong with the Boss's car….what do you mean your vehicle broke down too? Well walk and get here. The boss decided to go for a walk while I try figure out what's wrong with the car….of course I'm following him. Just get here, you can't miss the car. I'll call Brick and see if he can arrange us a ride."

Trent hung up the call and picked up the pace to catch up to Sonny, "Mr. Corinthos….slow down. Paul says their car broke down too."

Trent was visibly frustrated that Sonny wasn't paying attention while starting to call Brick when he felt a whack and everything went black.
