Two black eyes stared at the monitor's display. Upon it, the news was displayed. The reporter stood in front of some UA facility, though that wasn't what interested the suited man. He paused the clip, his gaze shifting to one of the many UA students in the background. "Nooru, the green haired one, he possesses a Miraculous."

"Indeed, master. The glasses are the Horse, I suspect the one pinned to his chest to be the Peacock but this video is not clear enough for me to be sure."

"That means at least two Miraculous could be reachable. If that's the case, there could be many more within our grasp. Nooru, dark wings rise!" Purple energy washed over the villain, transforming the black of his pinstriped suit into a deep purple, while the white lines turned golden yellow. A white domino mask appeared, outlined by the altered skin of his quirk. With one hand, the man slammed the staff within his hand to the ground. With the other, he placed his thumb to his forehead, index finger pointing up.

"For meta liberation!"

"It's not fair!" Another bar stool crumbled to dust as Tomura Shigaraki continued his tantrum. With Nomu defeated, Kurogiri was barely able to teleport them away. Because of this, Shigaraki had been randomly lashing out in anger for the last few days.

"Calm yourself young Tomura." A voice spoke from the TV. "This was but a single attempt. Next time you will be prepared. For now, the league has received a contact for an alliance, negotiating with them will be an excellent learning experience for you. Kurogiri, if you would."

The bartender activated his quirk, Shigaraki reluctantly stepped through, into the warehouse beyond. A few crates and shipping containers were scattered throughout the room, the strong smell of fish originating from within. Atop one of the containers stood a figure. They wore a ridiculous costume, one that Shigaraki didn't bother inspecting. What did catch his attention, however, was the three letters engraved on the figure's belt: MLA.

"Good evening." She spoke in a Kansai dialect: "You must be the league of villains."

"And you are?" Shigaraki asked, not caring about being rude.

"Call me Envoy, I speak for Re-Destro and the Meta-Liberation Army. You possess powers we believe could aid in our goals and we believe Meta-Liberation will aid in yours as well."

"Why would you want All Might dead?" Shigaraki ideally scratched at his neck, he wasn't quite sure where this was going.

"You want more than that though, don't you? MLA has encountered groups like you in the past. You want destruction. You want to tear down this society and Re-Destro knows we'll have to do that in order to achieve true Liberation."

"I see." Shigaraki's scratching sped up as he thought. "I can't fully trust you NPCs, though clearly your faction could be useful. Alright, we'll consider your offer."

"Good. You'll be contacted again soon." The figure leapt from the container and swiftly exited the warehouse, leaving only a dark purple butterfly behind.

"You handled the situation well, young Shigaraki." Kurogiri commented from the back of the room. "Though it may be unwise to refer to others as 'NPCs'." A warp gate sprung from the villain's body: "Shall we return to the bar? Sensei has nothing more to ask of you."

The door to 1-A slid open as Izuku entered, he was slightly earlier than usual. They had been given a few days off since the attack on the USJ, Izuku didn't want to risk being late and invoking Aizawa's wrath. Ilda glanced over to Izuku as he entered, gesturing for him to approach.

Uraraka stood next to Ilda, excitedly discussing something with him. "Good morning Midoriya. It is good to see you unharmed, I grew worried when I was informed you had been attacked by that teleporting villain."

"Thanks Ilda. I was just lucky All Might showed up when he did."

"I know right. It was really cool when he punched that villain straight through the roof. Plus that thing he did with his costume was awesome." Uraraka commented while miming All Might's punch.

"Now that you mention it, I've never seen All Might do anything like that before. You are highly knowledgeable about All Might, Midoriya, have you seen such a transformation before?" Izuku panicked slightly as he tried to think of a convincing lie, thankfully he was spared as the door slid open.

The entire class rushed to their seats as Aizawa entered, he looked even more exhausted than usual but was otherwise unharmed. "Welcome back. You all handled the situation in the USJ well but your fight isn't over yet." The class tensed up. "The UA sports festival is in two weeks. UA is going through with it, although with thrice the normal security. It will be a good opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills to pros. As such, your heroics classes this and next week will focus on skills that will help you during the festival."

That caused the class to murmur in excitement, though they quickly went silent as Aizawa's eyes glowed red. "You're dismissed." The class packed their things away and moved to the door but hesitated as Aizawa spoke again: "Midoriya, stay behind for a minute. Don't worry, you aren't in trouble."

The students slowly trickled out, until just Izuku and Eraserhead remained. A few moments of silence passed before... "I wanted to thank you, Midoriya." That was the last thing Izuku expected his teacher to say. "If you didn't stop that punch I could have died. Although that doesn't mean you should put yourself in that level of danger just to save someone. You were forced into that fight by the warp villain, so don't go jumping into them in the future. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir!"

"Good. One last thing, why did you suddenly decide to create that Senti-monster?"

"W-well..." Izuku paused slightly as he thought. "I guess I just thought that letting that Nomu loose would get a lot of people hurt. So I just... acted, I don't think I even really knew what I was doing."

Aizawa hummed a noise of... some confirmation? The man's general nature combined with the Peacock's empathy not working on him made Aizawa impossible to read. "As I thought. Many heroes have experienced some form of that phenomenon, as I'm sure All Might told you. That's not the interesting part. No, it's that while that creature was aiming to kill you, all you were thinking about was stopping others from getting hurt. That's a trait in all excellent heroes, but don't let it get you killed. You're dismissed."

"Thank you, Aizawa-sensei." Izuku bowed slightly before rushing to catch up with his friends. Aizawa was already anticipating the small head that popped out of the classroom's vent.

"What's this? Are you going soft Aizawa?" Nezu questioned smugly, it was the kind of tone the principal used when one of his predictions came true.

"Shut it, rat. We both know that boy is special. Someone needs to tell him about the potential he has, since clearly no one bothered to in the past." He turned to the pile of exam papers from the second year's general education courses. "Go away, I'm barely going to sleep as is."

"Fine, fine. Ruin my fun."
