Hadrian thought Krum might have had the right idea trying to avoid the Hogwarts girls. In the last two weeks, he had been cornered several times by females of all ages trying to get him to take them to the Yule ball. Winning this tournament was definitely not worth the sexual harassment, especially since Hadrian didn't even like girls to begin with. His crush on Tom was also definitely not helping, as he felt guilty for even thinking about taking anyone else to the ball. Not that he could take Tom or that Tom even knew about Hadrian's infatuation. The point still stood that the Yule ball was going to be the death of Hadrian and maybe Draco's patience.

Draco had already had to save Hadrian several times from people trying to slip him love potions, trapping him with spells so they could ask him to the dance, or one time a Hufflepuff fifth year that attempted to grope him.

All things that Draco decided to include in his latest letter to their parents and causing them to fuss and worry.

"I am going to change your shampoo out for flobberworm slime if you don't stop telling our parents unnecessary things!" Hadrian hissed at Draco over breakfast.

"You wouldn't dare!" Draco hissed back, aghast.

"Try me." Hadrian dared.

"Boys, no threatening each other at the breakfast table." Blaise Zabini said from across the table, already nursing his third cup of black tea.

"Well, if somebody wasn't such a tattle tale." Hadrian started.

"Oh fuck off, Rian, I was just looking out for you! You keep getting accosted by the female population, and if anyone could put a stop to it, then Dad can since he is on the board of governors." Draco argued.

"I can take care of myself!" Hadrian spat.

"Oh, can you? Is that why I have had to save you no less than five times in the last twenty-four hours?" Draco sneered.

"I didn't need to be saved! I am one of the champions I can manage to handle some overzealous girls." Hadrian asserted, only making Draco angrier thinking Hadrian was rubbing in his face that he was a champion.

"At least I can see when the females start to circle you like vultures!" Draco spat back without thinking. Everyone went quiet as Hadrian went stiff. Draco suddenly realized he had crossed the line. "Wait Rian, I didn't mean-" but before he could finish Hadrian was up and out of the great hall, tears prickling the edges of his eyes.

Oh, their parents were going to kill him for mentioning Hadrian's lack of eyesight during an argument.

Hadrian wouldn't talk to Draco for days following their argument. Everyone could see the tension between the brothers and Hadrian had made it rather obvious when he started to sit at other house tables, avoiding being anywhere near his brother. Draco was miserable and he looked it as well. His hair was unkempt, dark circles under his eyes, his clothes were wrinkled, and his tie was missing. No one had ever seen Draco look this bad. It didn't help Draco's mood that Hadrian had been spending all of his time with Donovan and his friends at the Gryffindor table.

It felt like he was losing his brother and his parent's letters didn't hold any helpful reassurances.

The last letter he had received just that morning was more ominous than anything else. It was Tom's handwriting which already set Draco on edge.

Draconis,

We will be at Hogwarts this afternoon.

Behave until then.

-T

Who was we? Was Tom's public persona even ready? Were they all disappointed in him for upsetting Hadrian?

The rest of the Slytherins could see what a nervous wreck Draco was by lunchtime, the normally stoic boy falling apart set all of their teeth on edge.

The great hall doors swung open quite forcefully causing the normally loud students to quiet down and see what was happening. Standing in the doorway was the board of governors for Hogwarts, and none of them looked too pleased.

"Ladies and gentlemen, what can I do for you all this lovely afternoon?" Albus jovially asked.

"Albus, you have been ignoring our summons for a chat, so we have come to you. Shall we do this in front of the students or would you rather we finally have this meeting you keep avoiding." Madame Helen Abbott said in a tone that made everyone think of Professor McGonagall.

"Ah yes, follow me, we can speak in my office," Albus said, still twinkling but less joyful.

The students immediately burst into gossiping whispers when Dumbledore and the Board exited the room.

"Albus Dumbledore, we are getting reports of sexual harassment happening on school grounds and no one is doing anything to stop it. Would you please explain yourself?" Lady Longbottom got straight to the point as soon as they were all sat down.

"This is the first I am hearing of such a thing, what sexual harassment?" Dumbledore asked a little shocked.

"In this tizzy due to the Yule ball, it seems students have resorted to cornering. chasing, and groping other students. Love potions are being slipped into food. Will it have to escalate to rape for you to step in?" Lord Shafiq asked in a disappointed tone.

"How dare you! The students are just a little excited, they will calm down. They are just children who are learning how to get the attention of the ones that they like." Albus defended, appalled they would think such things.

"This isn't boys pulling on girls' pigtails Albus. I have been sent memories, I do have proof. The victims and the victim's friends have gone to their heads of house, the foreign students to their headmaster, to complain. We have checked with the heads of house and the other headmasters that they have brought all these complaints of inappropriate behavior from the Hogwarts students and you have dismissed them all. This isn't acceptable." Lucius growled, trying to keep calm but he had memories from Draco showing what had been happening to Hadrian and the other champions.

"They are just pranks and some students getting a little overzealous. There is nothing criminal happening here!" Albus argued.

"Amortentia is illegal to use on others. Those caught have been thrown in Azkaban regardless of how old they were. We have been given samples of sweets being given to unsuspecting students that have been laced with Amortentia. You should be grateful that only the board is here for this meeting and not the Aurors." Lord Shacklebolt informed a slowly paling Albus.

"I suggest you get your students in order or else the next time I will come back with the entire DMLE." Lady Bones threatened as they took their leave.

Albus broke several things within his office before he was calm enough to go out and talk with his staff. The disappointed glares from the previous headmasters didn't even register with him as he too left his office.

Lucius didn't like having to intervene, but both of his sons were stubborn and prideful at the worst of times. So while the rest of the board of governors left Hogwarts, Lucius was waiting in one of the many empty classrooms. He had sent a house elf to fetch both of his sons, he only hoped they didn't fight on the way.

The door opened and there stood Draco looking like he had when he was 7 and fell apart when his mother had gotten sick. Following silently behind him, looking much more put together and blank-faced was Hadrian. A cold indifference that he couldn't tell if it was more Severus or himself influencing that effective cold shoulder he was giving his brother.

Lucius sighed, he should have let Tom handle this like he had wanted to.

"Boys please take a seat," Lucius instructed. Both boys sat as far away from each other as they could.

"I have heard what has happened from the both of you through our letters. I love you both dearly, you are my sons but I am disappointed in you both." Lucius made sure to keep a gentle tone, he knew both of his boys could become skittish with harsh reprimands. "Draco you know your comment was out of line, I know you have tried to apologize, and I know you weren't trying to smoother your brother only protect him." Lucius looked at Draco who already had tears glistening in his eyes. "Hadrian, I understand you were hurt by your brother's words, I know you have been stressed by the students trying to accost you in the halls, I also know you are quite a capable young wizard with the means and determination to defend yourself. But I would hope you could understand that Draco was worried. Severus and Tom are still very worried. It isn't just you being attacked like this, the other champions have been attacked too and it is unacceptable. It is called sexual harassment Hadrian and it is a very serious issue. The board is now handling it but I want you to stay aware and vigilant."

Lucius saw Hadrian's facade beginning to crack, he was still just a naive teenage boy.

"I really didn't mean it 'Rian," Draco whispered with a broken voice. "Please don't leave me."

"Leave you? Why would I leave you?" Hadrian finally questioned.

"You've been spending all of your time with your real brother…"

"You're my real brother you giant prat!"

"But Donovan-"

"But nothing! Yes, I enjoy Donovan as a friend and a chance to get to know my twin, but you are my brother you stupid peacock. I love you as infuriating as you are sometimes." Hadrian finally huffed out and was quickly surprised to have Draco's arms wrapped around him, hugging the life out of him.

"I am really sorry," Draco murmured apologetically, not letting go of Hadrian yet.

"I forgive you this time. Next time I will hex you black and blue." Hadrian threatened lightly but hugged his brother back. Lucius rolled his eyes at how dramatic his boys were but was glad he could report good news to the others when he returned home.

"Glad that you two have solved your differences. Hurry along to eat with the rest of the school and I will be seeing you both over the winter holidays." Lucius smiled, hugging both of his boys before making his way out of the school to apparate home.

It was almost nice to see Draco and Hadrian so childish sometimes. They were growing up so quickly and developing into fine young men. But Lucius already missed his little boys who would crawl into his lap and beg to be read just one more story before bedtime. Maybe this is what Severus was calling 'empty nest syndrome'.

Wonder if he could talk Severus into having a couple more kids with him.
