Chapter 6: The Alliance

"Will you pick a flavor already?!" Ben shrieked as Gwen flinched as the two cousins were standing infront of an ice cream counter gazing at the flavors.

"Will you be quiet, I need complete concentration." Gwen glared as Ben sighed in annoyance.

"Concentration? On what? Picking what flavor ice cream you want?" Ben mocked as Gwen scoffed and went back to gazing at the various flavors.

"What flavor is this?" She pointed at a light green with brown pieces in it.

"Mint Chocolate." He replied shortly.

"What about that one." She pointed to one that was different colors.

"Sherbet."

Ben was literally slamming his head against the far side of the wall, "Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop!" Gwen grinned at the various choices not knowing what to get.

"Do you guys make sundae's?"

"Yes."

Gwen squealed in excitement, "This is so much fun." Ben groaned in defeat as he knew he was gonna be here all day. He gazed out the window to see his grandpa gassing up the Rust Bucket.

The older Tennyson was refilling the RV when a large bank truck drove by, but that's not what caught his attention. It was the three bikers that blew up the tires to the truck. Max shielded himself behind the RV to avoid being caught in the crossfire.

The three bikers nodded to each other before rushing towards the truck. Ben and Gwen soon rushed out the ice cream palor to see the destruction caused by the trio of bikers, "Ben, Gwen watch out!" Max warned as Ben pushed Gwen out the way.

"Alright, you guys like to play, let's see you play with Humungousaur!" Ben warned as he activated the Omnitrix and slamming down on Humungousaur's hologram.

Ben's body started hardening into magenta colored crystal. The left side of his arm and part of his body turned a red color while his right arm remained magenta while his right hand was red. Two large pink crystals were located on his back, a medium sized crystal layed on his right shoulder, and a smaller crystal below his right shoulder. His left arm was litered in crystals, four around his shoulder and three going down his forearm. Two were located on his chest, while two layed on his feet. Ben's face closed in on itself as it was covered in the crystals, his eyes were emerald. His face was magenta with a mix pink under his chin and above his eyes. A lone crystal took it's place on the top of his head, but it's color was different from the rest on his body, it was red like his body. The Omnitrix badge appeared on his chest with a small red crystal and pink crystal attached to the badge, "HUMUNGO-? Chromastone?" The crystallized alien exclaimed. "Chromastone, seriously? I wanted Humungousaur. Ugh. Stupid watch."

Chromastone raced out from behind the RV, as the trio of bikers were seen filling up duffel bags full of money. Chromastone soon grabbed two of the bikers and flung them backwards, "Its not nice to steal. I'm gonna have to ask you to surrender."

"Make me, freak." The leader grumbled as he held up a large blaster and fired it at him. The laser soon phased through him and collided with one of the gas ports blowing it up. The leader glared at him, "What are you?!"

"I'm a hero who's patience for robbers just reached zero." He soon raced forward as he punched the leader who went flying backwards colliding with the side of the truck.

The other two bikers kept blasting him, but instead of phasing through him like before, he absorbs the radiation allowing the power to flow through him soon blasted them both in their chests. Before Chromastone could react two small brown and orange drones flew down and started blasting him. The two bikers flew and collided with the Rust Bucket. Chromastone walked over and grabbed their helmets, "Now, let's see who's under these masks." He pulled them off and was a bit shocked to see two women underneath the masks, "You're women, uh I don't think i can do this." He stuttered as the leader soon blasted him in the back.

"And they say chivalry is dead." She smirked sinisterly. The other two bikers were too afraid of Chromastone.

"You can keep the money, Rojo, we're out." The women with double buns replied as her and the other biker ran off.

"Hey! Get back here!" Rojo screamed angrily as she watched her gang run off. Chromastone was busy trying to knock the drones out the sky when she blasted him in his back again.

"Ben!" Max called out as grabbed a tire and flung it into the leader who glared at him.

"You'll get yours old man." She yelled as she blasted the roof of the gas station as the debris landed ontop of Max.

Chromastone and Gwen went wide eyed at this sudden action, "GRANDPA!" Chromastone's laid back expression hardened immediately as he blasted both of Vilgax's drones out the sky. The two heaping machines crashed landed on the ground.

Chromastone rushed towards Rojo and punched her square in the face. The biker women was sent flying into the bank truck and was rendered unconscious. Chromastone raced over to his grandpa and immediately started moving the debris off of him.

"Grandpa?" Chromastone asked in concern when Gwen pulled out her phone.

"I'm calling 911." But Ben didn't give her that option. He wrapped his arm around her waist as he did with his grandpa, "Ben?!"

"Too little time, hospital should be right up the street." Chromastone didn't even think about it before he launched into the air, 'Boy, what I wouldn't give to have an alien that could run fast.' Chromastone carried his cousin and unconscious grandpa to the hospital.

Rojo soon regained conscience as she watched Chromastone fly away. She rubbed her head in pain as she felt a little bump forming, "That freak sure can pack a punch." She muttered to herself as she gazed down at the scrape of drone. She picked it up as the drone soon attached itself to her neck. Red circuitry lines spread through her body as she transformed.

Her jacket and pants became ripped, and her skin transmuted to a shade of red. She also developed cybernetic eyes, retractable claws and shoulder-mounted laser blasters. The newly transformed Rojo gazes at her hands and smirks evilly once she hears the sounds of police cars and officers pointing their weapons at her.

"Freeze!"

"Don't move!"

Rojo glared at them, "I already did my time." The lasers on her shoulders blasted at the policemen before destorying their cruiser.

Once the fires died down, the two officers gazed back over to the enhanced Rojo who disappeared. The officer on the left activated his walkie talkie, "Uh dispatch, you'll never believe what we just ran into."

At the hospital, Ben and Gwen sat around the hospital bed of Max Tennyson. His head was wrapped in bandages, a black bruise was forming under his eye, and his leg was broken casted in a sling. The doctor had told them he'd be okay, but Ben couldn't stand seeing his grandpa like that.

Gwen placed a hand on his shoulder, "It's not your fault, Ben."

Ben scowled and shrugged her hand off, "It is. None of this would've happened if I didn't intervene."

"Ben, you did the right thing and grandpa would agree with me."

"Please, stop." Ben responded, he quickly cycled through his playlist, "I gotta find something that could help him." He cycled through all nine holograms coming to the tenth unused alien.

Gwen saw Ben staring at the alien, before raising his hand above his head. Gwen caught his hand before he activated the Omnitrix, "Ben, you can't help him this way. The doctor said he'll be fine. Don't do this to yourself."

Ben's face softened before he felt Gwen's hand loosen on his wrist. He gazed at the unused alien before sighing, 'What am I doing?' Gwen's right.' He spun through the Omnitrix and deactivated it.

On a building, two miles from the hospital stood a grumbling Rojo, who's homing device activated when the teenager in question activated the Omnitrix. Rojo's gaze fell on the boy in question and smirked, "This'll be easier than taking candy from a baby. Once this job is over, I'll never have to see that stupid squid again."

Earlier, Rojo was robbing a jewelry store, gripping the jewels tightly in her cold clawed hands. She was grinning like a mad man, but her face turned into rage when the jewels shattered in her hand, "NO!"

She was fuming with anger, the laser on her shoulder activated destorying the shop in question. When her head started buzzing in pain, "What's happening?"

"You!" Vilgax erupted loudly.

"Who are you?! Where are you?! How'd you get inside my head!" Rojo yelled gripping her head in pain.

"Worry not, you foolish imbecile. You, who has the homing beacon from my mechadroid. You could have power beyond anything you can imagine."

Rojo gazed around till she came face to face with the voice in her head, "What are you getting out of this?"

"What I desire is technology missing from my possession. Once you acquire it from the wretched human wielding it shall I grant you the power you, so willfully deserve." Vilgax inquired in a raspy voice.

"Technology? What is it?"

"The device is called the Omnitrix. Find it, retrieve it, then bring me the wielder alive." Vilgax demanded.

"How am i supposed to find it or whoever's using it?"

"Inside the mechadroid, is a homing beacon. Whenever the Omnitrix is in use you'll be able to find it no matter what!" Vilgax replied, "Fail me, and I shall destroy you myself."

Rojo then fell to her knees, panting heavily. She glared at the squid, "Stupid squid." She muttered before launching out of the jewelry shop and landing on a building. She started gazing around until she heard the sound of something activating. She shook her head from that conversation and glared at the teenager wielding it, "Found you."

Ben stood up and started walking out of the room, Gwen followed quickly behind, "Ben, where are you going?"

"Anywhere is better than here." He replied as he kept walking down the hall, "I can't keep putting you guys in danger. All this, Animo's monsters, Kevin, those bounty hunters, those robots, those old people. All this started when I found this." He flashed the Omnitrix, "I don't deserve it, hell I can't even wield it without someone getting hurt. And now look at what I caused because I wasn't strong enough to protect you or Grandpa. I'm gonna find a way to get this thing off me and go back to being normal." He then started making his way to the stairwell leaving behind a shocked Gwen.

"Ben. Ben, wait-?" Gwen called out chasing after him when the window exploded behind her drawing her and Ben's attention. Standing in the now empty hallway with the two Tennyson cousins was the cybernetic enhanced Rojo who was glaring at them.

Ben and Gwen's eyes widened, for Ben, he was shocked, for Gwen, it was due to fear. Rojo glanced from the girl to the boy, "He wants his Omnitrix, so bad, he can have it." She replied as her shoulder blasters extended and aimed at the red head. Ben was already running towards her. He yanked his cousin down hard as the laser blasted the wall a few feet behind them. Rojo slammed her clawed hand into the ground, but Ben saw it coming rolling them out the way. The floor cracked from the amount of force she applied, "Stop running, kid, make this easier on me, and hand over the tech!" Ben grabbed Gwen and raced towards the stairwell.

"If you want it, you'll have to pry it from my cold dead body." He glared as the laser blasted the door off it's hinges. Ben and Gwen immediately sprinted down the stairs. Before Rojo walked over and shouted.

"THAT CAN BE ARRANGED!" As Ben and Gwen made it to the bottom floor, Rojo launched off the railing into a freefall and landed at the bottom shocking them both.

The two cousins raced out of the hospital, hiding in the parking lot, "Now might be a good idea to turn into an alien, don't cha think?" Gwen asked as they both hid behind an ambulance.

"Gee, I hadn't thought of that." He replied sarcastically.

"No need for the sarcasm, asshole. I was making a suggestion." She huffed as Ben rolled his eyes. He immediately activated the Omnitrix and scrolled through his playlist when a large explosion occurred.

Ben and Gwen glanced from behind the ambulance to see the mechanized Rojo walking out of the black smoke, "So you want to play hide and seek? Fine, when I find you, I'll make sure you watch as I kill the girl and the old man. Then deliver your head to him."

Ben could feel anger building up inside him, 'It's one thing to threaten me, but once you bring my family into this. You've basically signed your death warrant.' He scrolled through his playlist before landing on a hologram.

Gwen would be lying if she said she wasn't afraid, not only was she after her cousin, but she basically guaranteed that her and her grandpa would die infront of him. She took a glance at her cousin and could see the rage growing inside him. She took another glance at the hologram, he chose and backed up a bit. She watched as he slammed his hand onto the hologram and was blinded by the emerald light.

Rojo was blasting ambulance's left and right searching for the kid, when she caught sight of the emerald light, "There you are." She chuckled evilly. She tossed the ambulance they were hiding behind away pointing her lasers at them.

Ben started shrinking and was soon engulfed in a white containment suit. A pair of headphones rested ontop of his head, with a grey visor with his emerald eyes shining behind them. The headphones were connected to a backpack on his back with the number 10 on it. On his legs resembled cassette tapes. On his forearms were grey bands with green sound holes in them. A large black line took up most of his face went down his face and towards his neck where it stopped. His fingers were black, as a black line encircled his knee and the bottom of his feet. On his shoulders were two black lines as they raced down his back and resumed around his waist and formed a giant black circle in the middle of his chest where his Omnitrix badge resided, "ECHO ECHO!" The sound alien exclaimed before glaring at the women.

Gwen knew how dangerous Echo Echo was and raced away to hide behind another ambulance. Rojo laughed mockingly, "You seriously think that tiny weak thing can beat me?" She laughed again.

"Why don't I show you, why I named him, Echo Echo." The Sonorosian replied in his reverbed voice.

Rojo grinned evilly, "Sure kid, I'll spare a moment, before I kill you."

Gwen knew what was about to happen, she immediately ducked down and covered her ears to try a muffle out the sonic scream that was about to erupt from the tiny alien. Echo Echo sucked in a large breath, then another, and another, until finally he let out the loudest, strongest, ear shattering scream he could muster. The sonic scream hit Rojo hard, not only was her mechanized ears hit in the attack, but she was launched off her feet, colliding with a car over twenty feet away. Even tho her ears were covered she could still hear it, not only was it louder than before, but it was definitely alot stronger than the ones she's heard from him.

"How's that? Stings, doesn't it?" He replied as he walked over to her, "Wait, you won't be able to hear me, can you?" He mocked as she slowly got up from the car she was launched to.

"What'd...you...do...to...me?!" She yelled loudly, her ears felt like they were shattered by that attack.

"I gave you a dose of Echo Echo's Sonic Scream, not like you can hear anything I'm saying." Rojo couldn't make out what he was saying, she gritted her teeth and launched at him. Picking him up by his chest and slamming him into the ground. She raised her clawed hand up ready to tear him limb from limb when his body glowed green.

Her eyes widened when out came three Echo clones, one hit her in the face. Another launched off him, and delivered a roundhouse kick to her jaw, another was on his hands and knees which made her trip over him. The prime Echo launched above her and yelled, "EAT THIS!" Another sonic scream erupted from his mouth making her yell in even more pain than before on account to her ears tryna repair itself.

Rojo's lasers blasted the Sonorosian and his clones away. She glared at them with fury. The clones his behind pillars in the underground parking lot while she fired at them in anger. The Echoes looked to the leader who was giving instructions to them, they each nodded before rushing out. Echo #2 drew her fire while Echoes #3 and 4 put the plan into action.

Echoes #3 and 4 stood behind her while the prime Echo took the left and Echo #2 dodged a laser blast and took the right. She glared as they surrounded her, "What is this?!"

"Give up, I've got you outnumbered." The main Echo replied as she snorted.

"Oh yeah? What can the four of you do against me? That stupid scream again?"

"She's mocking us." Echo #3 replied.

"Let's show her some real numbers." Echo #2 said, the others nodded firmly before their duplication ability roared to life.

Rojo's eyes widened, soon it used to be four now the numbers are ranging close to sixty, so she thinks she lost count around thirty-five, "Now you're outnumbered. What can you do against these numbers?"

She backed up, till a plan sprung into her head. She gazed at the pillars holding up parking lot and smirked, "Here's what I have to say." She soon blasted the pillars causing the roof to rumble, "You can stop me or save the hospital." She chuckled before racing out the parking lot.

The Echo clones gritted their teeth in anger before they hopped into each other's bodys leaving the main Echo gazing at the roof, "Gotta fix the ceiling. Do I use heat or ice?" Echo Echo could see debris falling and had to think fast, "Ice, it is!" He tapped his badge and was soon engulfed in an emerald light.

Echo Echo's skin turned a violet, dark blue, and black color. He grew an additional third emerald eye above his nose. His hands turned into claws and his feet into talons with only three toes; two in the front and one in the back. His entire body was wrapped in an old raggedy dark blue cloak and hood with light blue spot patterns scattered around which then unfurrow and become his wings and antenna. His shoulders, chest, and thighs grew armor plating on them. The Omnitrix badge appeared in the middle of his chest, "BIG CHILL!" His eerily ghostly voice erupted.

"Gotta fix it fast." His ghostly voice replied before he raced forward and his cloak unwrapped itself into a set of moth wings. His launched a sleet of ice from his fanged mouth. The ice took effect immediately, filling in the cracks and keeping it together.

He flew over to one of the pillars that Rojo blasted and froze it up and down to keep it steady. He gazed around and heard more rumbling noises, he flew over to another pillar that looked ready to fall, but immediately froze it solid, "There, that should do it." He landed on the floor and let out a sigh of relief, "Hopefully, Gwen made it out, okay." Big Chill's body started flickering till he was just a ghostly figure as he launched upwards phasing through the roof.

Big Chill flew all the way to the fourth floor where his grandpa's room was. He phased straight through the door to find Gwen, hiding on the other side of his bed. His gaze soon fell on his grandpa, who was still resting. He turned towards the door and closed the window, so no one could disturb them, "Gwen."

Gwen peeked from her hiding spot to see Big Chill standing there. She sprung to her feet immediately and raced over to him, hugging him tightly, "Are you okay? What happened to that robot biker chick?"

"She escaped." His breath was cold against her skin, she shivered slightly, which caught his attention, "Sorry, are you cold?"

"Yeah, a bit. He's not exactly screaming warmth." Gwen chuckled which made the Necrofriggian chuckle lightly until a loud ringing sound caught there attention.

"Guess, my time is up." He replied as a red light engulfed the room, standing in Big Chill's place was Ben, "At least it didn't time out down there, I would have been in big trouble."

"What happened down there, Ben?"

"Well I had hit her with the sonic scream, sorry about that by the way." Ben replied then soon apologized to his cousin.

"No worries, after that scream I raced back to grandpa. What else happened?"

"I'm glad you escaped, anyway, I had her outnumbered, but she blasted the pillars holding up the hospital and gave me a choice. Go after her and let everyone die or stop the hospital from crumbling, so I think you can guess which one I chose."

"Ben, it's okay. You did what you had to do."

"Gwen, I let her escape. Who knows what's gonna happen now, that she's loose. I wish I didn't have to carry this burden." He sighed sadly, Gwen patted his shoulder.

"You don't, we're in this together." Gwen smiled as Ben smiled slightly.

"Thanks dweeb." Gwen chuckled lightly.

"No problem, doofus."

Rojo was breathing heavily as her ears had finally finished repairing themselves, "Stupid kid, damaged my ears. I swear I'll make him pay for that." Rojo grumbled angrily before her head started hurting yet again.

"Do you have the Omnitrix?!" The voice bellowed loudly in her heard making her ears extremely sensitive due to her fixing it.

"Does it look like I have the stupid watch?" She replied sarcastically, "That stupid kid turned into some small alien that delivered an ear shattering scream. I had to distract him and slip away."

"I don't care for your petty excuses! Fail me again, and I will make you SUFFER!" He erupted loudly.

"How am I supposed to trap him? Got any bright ideas squid face?!"

"Mock me again, and I'll make sure to watch as your body is dismembered in the harsh way possible. If you can't go to him, have him come to you." Vilgax replied before Rojo caught onto the plan.

"I see, trap him. Okay, that should be easy enough." Rojo replied before racing off.

As the sun began to set, Ben gazed off at the setting star before a sigh escaped his lips. He looked over to his sleeping cousin and his unconscious grandfather before leaving a note on the desk beside his bed, "It's better this way." He mumbled before walking out the hospital room. After hearing the door close, Gwen soon rubbed the sleep out of her eyes before seeing the empty chair next to her. Her concern immediately skyrocketed when she found him gone.

"Ben?" She gazed around before finding the note Ben had left for them, "Dear Gwen & Grandpa, I can no longer keep putting you guys in danger. I love you guys too much to keep endangering your lives. It's better this way. Love Ben."

Ben was sitting in an empty park, staring at the Omnitrix until he looked up to see a little boy and his grandpa playing catch. Ben glared at the two, he was jealous that he'd never be normal like them. He dropped his hands into his knees and sighed, 'Why? Why did this have to happen to me?' He didn't know what to do, he couldn't talk to anyone about it. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He was contemplating what to do when police sirens roared by gaining his attention.

'What's going on?' He thought before racing off into downtown when he got a look at a nearby electronics store different TV's playing the news on the situation.

"Breaking News: A cybernetic women has been spotted downtown destorying a multiple buildings, multiple people have been injured." The women responded, Ben tightened his fists before racing through the crowd that formed to watch the news. He was already activating the Omnitrix, deciding to go with one of his faster fliers.

"Come on, Jetray." He replied before slamming his hand onto the faceplate. As he entered the alley, a bright emerald light flashed through the entrance.

Ben felt like he was deevolving, he started growing blue fur all over his body. He blinked his eyes as he grew four extra eyes, his ears pointed out, and his teeth grew into fangs with a lone line running directly from his lower lip running downwards unto his chin. The bones in his two arms split into four arms with three fingers one each hand. A tail sprouted out from his butt. Fur covered his forearms, his body, his neck, and face, as two black circular bands were wrapped around all four arms. The Omnitrix badge appeared on his chest, "JETR-?! SpiderMonkey?" He screeched loudly, "Seriously, SpiderMonkey? First I wanted Humungousaur and you give me Chromastone, now when I need Jetray, you give me SpiderMonkey! What is wrong with you?!" He groaned, "Fine, I can work with this." He leaped in between the buildings, before launching into the rooftops and racing across the buildings.

He races towards the edge of the rooftop, soaring across the open air before gravity soon took it's course. In a freefall, SpiderMonkey's head was ringing, and ringing, and ringing before a strand of webbing shot from his tail colliding with a nearby building, sending the Arachnichimp upwards. SpiderMonkey sailed above the streets before he let go of the web.

SpiderMonkey sailed through the air once again, "This is what I call webslinging." Another strand of web exploded from his tail colliding with another building, the Arachnichimp used all four arms and slung himself forward before he caught the sounds of destruction nearby. The monkey spider hybrid landed on the side of a building quickly racing across it before leaping over the barren streets as the sounds of lasers echoed out.

Another strand of webbing erupted from his tail as he swung towards the oncoming fight that was about to take place. He landed on the side of a building before gazing around as the woman seemed to laying waste to everything, "Looks like you've got this party started without me." He screeched as Rojo turned around with a wild smile on her face.

"Of course, it was to draw you out!" She smirked before aiming her shoulder blasters at him. The tingling in the back of his skull started vibrating before he heard a low eerie sound as a laser fired at him. The tingle in his head turned into a loud blaring noise before the Arachnichimp went sailing over the streets to another building watching as the single laser tore through the building reducing it to rubble. His spider sense blared to life again as he soared through the air dodging yet another laser.

He webbed a large piece of rubble as he twisted in the air dodging more laser blasts. He landed on another building gripping the web with all four arms tightly before launching at her. He swung the large piece of rubble around before having it collided with the cybernetic enhanced woman. The rubble shattered into debris as Rojo was launched into the side of a building. She groaned as she dropped onto her hands and knees.

She gritted her teeth in anger, "I'm gonna make you pay for that, you fucking freak!" She yelled as the blasters glowed brightly firing at him. SpiderMonkey launched into a series of flips before laughing loudly before backflipping behind a turned over Honda Civic.

"I'm not a freak. I'm an alien who goes by SpiderMonkey. Or Arachnid. Or Chimp. Or maybe combine them into Arachnichimp." He screeched before gazing around looking for something to use.

She glared heavily as she kept firing at the Honda Civic to keep the alien hybrid pinned down, "Do you ever shut up!" She yelled as the laser fire got heavier.

"You don't like my jokes, I thought it was all in good humor. By the way, what do you call yourself? Is it Robocop? Terminator? Oh, is it the Punisher?" He screeched before webbing a nearby mailbox, he wrapped his arms around the strand tightly before heaving the heavy postal box off the sidewalk.

"God, shut the hell up!" Rojo yelled before the Arachnichimp sailed into the air screeching loudly.

"Hey lady, you've got mail!" He yelled before the large blue mailbox swung around on the web colliding with the robotic woman knocking her off her feet, "HOME RUN! And the crowd goes wild!" He howled loudly before slamming his fists onto his chest like an ape.

Rojo had the shit knocked out of her, it took her a minute to get her bearings before seeing the monkey howling loudly, "Yeah, definitely gonna kill this kid." She grumbled before seeing the mailbox he used as wrecking ball nearby. She gripped the mailbox as her claws scratched through the metal as she found a good grip onto the large box before hurling it towards the gloating hybrid, "Heads up, you little bastard!"

A loud tingling sensation erupted inside his head, he turned around at the last minute before seeing the large mailbox flying at him, "Oh shi-" He couldn't even finish his sentence before the large box collided with him head on. The Arachnichimp sailed backwards, before colliding with the streets and then colliding into the side of a pick up truck, "Yeah, that definitely hurt." He tried to stand up before wobbling a little bit before collapsing, "Ugh, feels like I broke some ribs, and a major concussion setting in. Shake it off. Get up and try to walk it off." He tried to psych himself up before hearing a metallic scraping sound.

Gazing upwards and rapidly blinking his six eyes, Rojo stood ontop of the Honda Civic, scraping her claws together, "It's time to die, you little shit."

"That's not good." He mumbled before trying to pick himself off the ground. He shook his head quickly before his spider sense blared to life, his eyes widened in fear before his instincts took over. He launched into another series of backflips before vaulting over the pickup truck. He looked around before grabbing a sewer lid and smirked.

"Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. You've been a real pain in my ass, you little bastard. After I deliver that little watch device to my employer, I'm gonna ask him a personal favor to let me torture you and your pathetic family." She had hopped of the side of the car before advancing towards him, "First thing I'm gonna do is sew your annoying mouth shut. And I won't make it fast and painless, no I'll make sure it's slow and painful."

"Okay, first my parents were married when they had me so technically not a bastard, but can't really say the same to you because I know my parents. How about you? And second, could you not monologue me to death, it's insulting moreso to you than it is to me." He screeched before launching ontop of the pickup truck where she blasted him, but SpiderMonkey used the sewer lid as a shield and deflected the blasts. Rojo roared in anger from the verbal jousting he gave her.

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

SpiderMonkey flipped off the pickup truck, he shot two strands of webbing towards the sewer lid before rolling into the streets where Rojo started racing towards him. He launched into the air, before seeing the robotic woman launched more laser fire at him. The Arachnichimp swung the metal lid around deflecting the blasts as he twirled it around like a yo-yo. Rojo stopped in her tracks as SpiderMonkey grinned madly before everything started moving in slow motion. Rojo watched as the Arachnichimp brought the sewer lid back around and towards her. Where everything went black for her.

After Gwen had read the note, she scowled at the thought of Ben just abandoning them to keep them safe. She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice her grandpa waking up, "Gwen?" His voice hoarse from lack of water, "Is everything okay?" He gazed around before concern spread through him immediately, "Where's Ben?"

Gwen didn't say anything. She just passed him the note Ben left them. Max soon skimmed the note before looking at her, "What happened that led to this?" Max asked before Gwen soon started explaining how Ben thought it was his fault he ended up here, him and Gwen's argument about him doing the right thing, Rojo attacking the hospital, and a few minutes ago of her waking up to find Ben gone, but leaving the note behind.

Max grimaced before trying to get out of bed, "Grandpa, what are you doing?!" Gwen asked concerned.

"He couldn't have gotten far, we need to go after him." Max answered, but Gwen said nothing before grabbing his bed remote and laying him flat on his back, "Gwen? What are you doing?! Let me up!"

"No can do grandpa. I need to find him and talk some sense into him. Maybe smack him a few times till he can get the message and come home. I hate to have to do this to you grandpa, but you're a liability especially with that broken leg." Gwen replied before racing towards the door of his room, "Sorry grandpa, but I'll be back. Hopefully with Ben." She soon raced out the room and into the hospital hallway where Max was calling for his granddaughter or help.

Gwen had raced into the parking lot before sneaking hearing two paramedic officers approaching. She raced and hid behind a pillar and could hear their conversation.

"Did you see the news?" One replied.

"Of course, it's a four armed blue monkey that can shoot webs fighting against a robotic woman. Who couldn't see that?" He joked before they both raced over to one of the not destroyed ambulances.

"We should hurry and get down there, lots of injured people are that gonna need our help." The first man said.

Gwen soon opened the back door to the ambulance and snuck into the back. She quickly closed the door before the large medical truck's siren blared to life and was soon racing out the underground parking lot. Gwen pulled her knees into her chest worried about her cousin.

"Hope that doofus is okay." She mumbled to herself.

Rojo collided with a building, shattering the glass upon her landing. She groaned in pain, after she had been hit with that sewer lid she thought she was hallucinating because it looked like elves and unicorns were galloping around. Must be the concussion that she definitely has. She shook her head before groaning in pain again, but it was soon short lived when a strand of webbing hit her in the chest. She gazed at it confused when she was jerked forward, "What?" She was jerked forward again this time she went flying through her make shift entrance and into the awaiting fist which was SpiderMonkey.

SpiderMonkey's fist clocked her in the face knocking her out of midair, she collided with the ground hard. Rojo with her enhancements couldn't compare to this kid that could change into different monsters and all of them were insanely powerful. Rojo not one to quit, got back to her feet and threw a swipe at him, which he caught and with ease. She threw her other arm out, but he caught it too. The other appendages which were his other two arms hit her in the face repeatedly before he launched up into a front flip kicking her in the face. She wobbled back dazed from the attack.

She didn't know how much more the kid had, because this fight was taking a major toll on her. If it weren't for the machine inside her body, she'd be dead a long time ago. She couldn't even be left into her thoughts when the Arachnichimp came flying at her and punched her straight in the face. She was knocked off her feet for what appeared to be the seventh time, after the sewer lid to the face she stopped keeping count. She knew the small monkey hybrid was pulling his punches, she felt if he wanted to kill her, he would have done it as the small white sound monster.

SpiderMonkey had stopped playing around and decided to get a bit serious. He was of course still pulling his punches, because four reasons. 1. She's a girl. 2. He didn't wanna kill her. 3. She's a girl. And 4. SHE'S A GIRL! He was advancing on the mechanized woman when his spider sense blared to life. He couldn't tell where the danger was coming from, but if it activated his sixth sense it wasn't good. He soon jumped back when a missile was soon launched towards him, missing by a inch of a hair. The missile collided with a nearby building reducing it to crumbling mess. SpiderMonkey turned his gaze to find a military sized tank heading towards them aiming at him and Rojo, 'This can't be good.'

While distracted by the tank, Rojo slipped behind the tank, she lifted it over her head, and then launched it at him. SpiderMonkey's eyes widened before he dodged to the left where the tank sailed behind him. His spider sense flared to life once again, but it was too late, cause Rojo had predicted his movements and was waiting for him. She cocked her arm back as she punched the Arachnichimp square in the face. He went sailing backwards colliding with the street and then an orange Sedan. SpiderMonkey rubbed his head, 'Definitely gonna feel that in the morning.'

"Time for some much needed payback." Rojo countered as she cracked her fists in anger. She raced towards him as he was slowly getting to his feet.

His spider sense was ringing in his head at the incoming danger. He was fast, probably faster than before, as he caught her fist punch. Rojo watched as he caught it without even looking at her, she threw her other fist at him, but he caught it again. A heavy uppercut collided with her chin, followed by another uppercut. Rojo was stunned when he spun her around and punched her again and she collided with the Sedan, she had sent him through.

In the distance, a loud siren was racing through the destroyed streets and stopped a few feet away from them. SpiderMonkey gazed at the two men approaching. They took glances between the alien SpiderMonkey and the cybernetic enhanced Rojo.

"Who do we help first?" He asked the two combatants.

SpiderMonkey was about to answer when he noticed the door to the ambulance open. His gaze hardened immediately when he caught who it was peeking out searching for someone, "Gwen!" He was already on the move. He landed ontop of the ambulance as his tail lowered and wrapped itself around the young red head's body who shrieked in surprise before he placed her onto his back and took off webslinging away.

The two paramedics gazed at each other unsure what to do when they heard a loud groaning noise fill their ears. They looked to see Rojo slowly getting up and narrowing her cybernetic eyes at them.

"Where'd that blue monkey go?" She bellowed the two paramedics froze in fear from her voice when she gripped them by their collars, "ANSWER ME!" They soon pointed West, Rojo narrowed her eyes before racing after the alien monkey.

SpiderMonkey landed in an alley about four blocks away, he placed Gwen onto her feet before gazing around to make sure the coast was clear and Rojo was nowhere in sight. He soon turned his attention to his cousin, "What are you doing here?!" He screeched.

She scowled at him before crossing her arms over her ample chest, "'It's better this way.' Sound familiar?"

The Omnitrix immediately started flashing red which made SpiderMonkey widened his eyes, "So does that beeping." In a flash of red SpiderMonkey reverted back to normal. Ben huffed in annoyance, "Atleast it didn't time out while I was fighting that woman." Ben sighed, 'Can't ever catch a break.' He then gazed back to his angry cousin.

"Why?" Was all she asked before Ben's gaze shifted away from her.

"Why what?" He answered hoping to play dumb in this situation.

"Don't play dumb, Benjamin." She hissed. Ben stiffened when she didn't call him Ben, but by his real name, "Did leaving really think you could keep us safe? She got a look at our faces! She knows who we are! What's to stop her from using us as leverage to draw you out like those bounty hunters did?!"

Ben could feel his heartrate increasing as she pointed out facts, "I didn't think it mattered."

"That's exactly your problem, you didn't THINK! YOU HAVEN'T BEEN THINKING!" She screamed, "If I found the watch, I'd rather we worked together than me having to go off on my own."

Ben felt his blood run ice cold when he heard her, 'What if Gwen had found the Omnitrix instead of him? Then everything we went through, Gwen would been in danger and hunted instead of him.' He shook his head of those thoughts quickly.

Gwen glared at him, "Tell me why you're doing this?"

"I just didn't want you guys to get hurt, but look what good that's caused. When I saw grandpa collapse it hurt me, knowing I wasn't strong enough to protect him or you from danger. What if I'm not fast or strong enough and one of you dies because of me? I can't even fathom the lengths I'd go to knowing one of you died because of me. That's why, I tried to keep you out of harms way, I know it's selfish, but it was the best choice I could come up with." Ben answered solemnly.

"Ben, you can't protect us all the time. We're gonna take risks because we care about you. Me and Grandpa care about you we're not gonna let you go. We're a team goddammit, so stop being scared to let us get hurt and start acting like a LEADER!"

Ben's eyes started glistening when he heard his cousin. Tears spilled over his cheeks before realizing how right she was. They were a team, and he was their leader. Now it was time he stepped up to the plate and acted like one. He wiped his tears away before a large grin broke across his face, "You're right. It's time I started acting the part. I'm not some little kid, I can do this. Thanks Gwen." He soon pulled his cousin who he looked to as a sister and pulled her into a tight hug.

"It's what I'm here for, Ben." She grinned before releasing the hug. She soon smacked him on his face and then backhanded him on his other cheek.

Ben was majorly confused as he rubbed his stinging face, "What was that for?"

"I told grandpa after I talked to you, I'd smack you for being an idiot." She replied simply.

"I see. Wait, grandpa's awake?!" Ben shrieked in happiness.

"Yes, and he's worried about you. So let's get going."

"Yeah, let's go-!" Ben soon turned around to guide his cousin back to the hospital when a silhouette was standing on the other side of the alley. Ben immediately stood infront of his cousin.

"Aw, look what we have here." Rojo chuckled, "It's time for round 4, kid. And don't even think about dialing up another monster. I know all your powers. That rock guy, the tiny sound guy, caught a glimpse of the moth you used, and now that blue monkey" She walked towards them.

"What does she mean by that?" Gwen whispered to him.

"No idea. Hopefully, she's bluffing because I still have about six aliens I haven't used." He replied in a whisper before he grabbed his cousins hand and raced out the otherside of the alley.

"Playing cat and mouse? Alright." She had a large Cheshire grin on her face.

Ben and Gwen raced out the alley as Rojo chased after them blasting them. The two Tennyson cousins hid behind a car before she gazed around looking for them when multiple men in army suits and guns came rushing at her and started firing at her.

"I'm not interested in you guys, I'm looking for my target." She replied before grabbing hold of a car and launching it at them. Rojo soon started destroying the soldiers unbeknownst to her Ben and Gwen silently snuck away.

"Ben, what are you gonna do? You can't beat her without killing her. None of your aliens can win without killing her." Gwen asked a bit concerned on how Ben was gonna defeat her.

Ben peeked from the building he was hiding beside. Gwen was right, he couldn't think of victory without killing her. So far the way he saw it he had three aliens that could possibly work. Brainstorm, Goop, and the mysterious tenth alien, he hasn't touched. He racked his brain on countless scenarios where he could win without killing her, 'I remember earlier how I wished for a fast alien now I'm reconsidering on taking an alien that could merge with technology. That would be sick.' He thought as Gwen nudged him gently breaking him from his thoughts.

"Anything?" She asked curiously as Rojo defeated the soldiers in seconds. She held one by the throat asking him where the shape shifting boy disappeared off too.

"I've got three choices honestly. Brainstorm, Goop, and the mysterious tenth alien. But after going through my head it's now two aliens. If I used Brainstorm, he'd fry her circuits and her brain killing her. Now it's just Goop and the tenth alien." Ben then peeked around the corner and saw her scanning the area for the Omnitrix, 'That's how she found us. She was tracking the Omnitrix's activation sequence.'

"How are you gonna defeat her with Goop?" Gwen asked with a raised eye brow.

"No clue." He answered.

"And the tenth alien? Ben, you haven't even turned into him, yet. You know nothing about him or his abilities it'll be a bloodbath." Gwen criticized him.

"I know, I know, I'm just running out of options, ideas, and aliens. If I can't find the right way to win, then I'll have to do what needs to be done." Ben croaked out which made Gwen wince.

"Ben, you can't be serious!" Gwen replied as Ben shook his head meaning his mind was already made up.

"Alright, I'm gonna take her down. This'll be our last battle and I'll make sure I win. Go hide and no matter what happens, don't come out." Ben replied sternly which made her nod. Ben raced out from their hiding place and stood in the street thirty feet from Rojo who grinned eagerly.

"No more running. No more hiding. This ends now. Give up the watch like a good little boy, so I can begin torturing you." Rojo remarked.

Ben scoffed at her, "I think you've forgotten something. I've outnumbered you, I've outflanked you, and I've outsmarted you constantly. And funny thing is, I haven't even been trying. Now if you think for a second, I'm just gonna roll over and die. Then you've got another thing coming." He was already activating the Omnitrix, scrolling through his playlist before finding his choice, "You are right about one thing. This ends here and now." He slammed his hand onto the Omnitrix's faceplate and was soon engulfed in an emerald light.

Ben felt his body dissolving, his flesh, bones, everything dissolved into an emerald green puddle of slime. A small grey device with green outlining the sides, resembling a UFO flew downwards picking up the humanoid pile of goo. His eyes were outlined black racing down his neck. On his chest floating around was his chest was his Omnitrix badge, but it had three pegs one of the top and two on the sides located at the bottom, "GOOP!" The slime alien exclaimed.

"You think a pile of snot is gonna beat me?" She grinned before her shoulder blasters aimed at him, "Any last words before I vaporize you into nothing?"

"I don't need any cause you can't beat me." Goop's voice replied as she glared and fired at him. The lasers shot straight through his body and soon the hole in his body regenerated like it was never even there. Rojo went eye wide as Goop smirked which you couldn't see.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" She kept firing at him repeatedly, and watched as the lasers tore through his body, but he regenerated like it never even happened.

"Are you done?" Goop asked before dissolving into a puddle of goo and leaping at her. The mechanized woman threw a punch at the goo, but it passed straight through his body. Goop's body soon engulfed Rojo as she trapped inside his body. Rojo fired repeatedly through his body, but nothing was working the many holes she put in his body were healed in literal seconds.

As Goop did his best to melt the mechanized woman's parts, he failed to notice the lightning sparking from her body at the attempt to melt the materials. The lightning sparks soon zapped his badge and Goop felt extremely weird like something was being beamed into his head and that's when he saw it. It felt like he was floating in an endless void till he saw him.

"Wielder of the Omnitrix, you have been a thorn in my side for the past few weeks. I won't tolerate this anymore because I will be coming for you. And when I do, you'll be on your knees begging for life after I extract the Omnitrix from you. You will cower in fear once you realize, who I am!" The giant squid in armor glared at the Polymorph in rage.

As soon as it began, it was over. Goop was back, he gazed at his prisoner who's armor soon melted leaving her pale skin and shredded biker outfit. Goop soon realized Rojo who collided on the ground hacking up bits of Goop's brain. Goop soon dissolved back into a puddle before he disappeared leaving Rojo for the cops who showed up and arrested her.

Ben, Gwen, and a partially healed Max walked out of the hospital who was feeling better than before, "You alright there Ben? You seem pretty out of it.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine." He lied plastering a fake smile on his face, "Let's get going."

"Sounds good to us." Gwen smiled as they climbed into the Rust Bucket.

Ben took a seat in the booth, before gazing at the window. He could see the large squid glaring at him with its piercing red eyes. He didn't even have to take one guess as to who that was, "Vilgax." He mumbled under his breath. Ben knew he was gonna be seeing him very soon, but that warning he gave him, put him on edge and he hated it.

Max and Gwen were upfront getting the RV moving, he didn't know why he lied about it, but if Vilgax wanted this Omnitrix, he'd come down here and take it from his cold dead body, 'And this time, I'll be ready for him. Or anything else he tries to pull.' He thought his emerald eyes flashed brightly as he smirked widely. He looked off into the distance before seeing a fire in the distance, "A hero never rests." He chuckled gaining Gwen and Max's attention.

He quickly grabbed his hoverboard before tearing the door open and activating it quickly. He hopped onto the board and smirked wildly before he raced off into the air. The dial on the Omnitrix already had a hologram ready, "IT'S HERO TIME!" He yelled before becoming engulfed in an emerald light

A/N: You have no idea how hard this chapter was. Alot of problems arose as I was writing this. First I caught the flu, then had mandatory overtime at work so I didn't have a chance to write it. Then to make matters worse as I was finishing it, I copy or screen shot what I had written and the app closed on me and didn't save anything. You can't imagine how angry I was because it wasn't the first time it's happened. I happened repeatedly when i was writing up my Ben 10 x One Piece book. Tht day was extremely annoying had to rewrite tht chapter six times. Anyway sorry this chapter is extremely late, it was supposed to be out last week, and this week was supposed to be the Lucky Girl chapter. Yeah I'm extremely behind, so after I post this I'll behind working on tht and Side Effects. I was also thinking on Side Effects that'll be a challenge to write because we've never witnessed his reclibrated aliens get sick, but it won't stop me. Stay tuned for me, I'm outtie.
