Hey everyone. Here is Chapter 3 of the Fusion Arc. I know some of you were surprised by the last chapter. There are times I wondered, why did I do that? But let's face it, every chapter where the heroes win gets kind of boring. Can't be afraid to do twists and turns every now and again.
But enough of that, here's the next chapter.
Chapter 03: Overwhelming Opponents
Virtual World
Yuya opened his eyes as he saw himself in a clearing in the forest with a lake in front of him. "Am I in the Death Game? I was expecting something not so bright and beautiful."
"Looks can be deceiving."
Yuya prepared himself as a monster rose from the middle of the lake with a Duel Disk on his arm. "A prime example is Yusho Sakaki. He was able to please the crowd with his Dueling while hiding his true self in the shadows."
"Before Seto Kaiba took over Kaiba Corporation. I have taken over, raided and merged countless companies. Using my great skill and abilities while imagining it, I have taken the form of the monster that know as Deepsea Warrior."
"So, you're one of the Big Five. By why take the form of a Duel Monster?" Yuya asked.
"In this Death Game, we are allowed to look anyway that we want. I've chosen this form because it will be my Deck Master in the Duel against you. And just because this world is virtual, it doesn't mean that you won't feel anything." Deepsea Warrior explained.
"What?" Yuya questioned. He then felt wind blow through his hair and his eyes widened. "The wind…I felt it."
"That's right, your senses have now become accustomed to this environment. Meaning if you die in this world, you die in the real world. But that shouldn't be a problem for the Dragon Soldier that struck down his own master." Deepsea Warrior said.
"I hate having to kill and it's something that I don't want to repeat. But…the Seven Stars are hurting my friends and they've captured someone precious to me." Yuya thought of Yuzu. "I'll take you on in this Duel and win against your cowardly tactics."
"It's not cowardly to know your opponent ahead of time. It's called be prepared. There is a saying, 'If you take interest in your enemy, you cross the white line of victory and reign supreme.' Don't underestimate an old man like me." Deepsea Warrior said.
"Now, it's time for you to build your deck." A wall of cards appeared in front of Yuya. "This is the card data that is a combination of Kaiba Corporation and Leo Corporation's database. To select the card you want, just simply touch it."
Yuya looked at the cards and he saw some of his in there so he started building his deck. "Done." Yuya finished.
"Now, select a monster to act as your Deck Master. If you wish to know their abilities simply hover your hand over the card." Deepsea Warrior explained.
Yuya looked at his cards and their Deck Master abilities. "Some of these abilities can help me enhance all my summon methods, but these guys have done their research. No, I can't falter right now. I have to hurry and get out of here. I'll use Odd-Eyes' Deck Master ability to double all battle damage every time I destroy a monster."
"Wait, Yuya." Odd-Eyes spoke.
"Odd-Eyes." Yuya stopped his hand.
"You can't just select me because I'm your ace. Remember, if the Deck Master is destroyed, you lose right then and there. I know you want to get back to the others, but charging in is exactly what they want you to do." Odd-Eyes lectured.
"I know that…I know that but…" Yuya remembered seeing Yuzu chained up.
"You're not alone, I'm not your only partner." Odd-Eyes spoke. The spirits of Yuya's other monsters surrounded him.
"Yuya, we all know what you're feeling." Stargazer said.
"That's why you should trust us. We want the same thing as you." Timegazer said.
"You can beat this guy and get out of here." Clear Wing said.
"But to do that, you need to trust in each of our abilities." Starve Venom said.
"Trust in us and we'll get you out." Dark Rebellion said.
"Everyone…okay…" Yuya looked through each card and nodded. "This is my Deck Master!" Yuya held up a card and it shined.
When the light died down, it revealed Odd-Eyes Kuriboh. Odd-Eyes Kuriboh snuggled next to Yuya and he smiled. "Odd-Eyes Kuriboh, interesting." Deepsea Warrior commented. "Oh, there's one more thing I forgot to mention. You are forbidden from using the Dimension Gates Field Magic. You must fight with your own cards."
"Now then, Yuya Ryuga, let me show the Dueling of an adult. I, Konosuke Oshita, will go down in history as the one who defeated the Dragon Soldier." Oshita activated his Duel Disk.
"Bring it on!" Yuya activated his.
"Duel!" Yuya and Oshita declared.

"The first turn is mine! My turn! Draw!" Oshita drew his card. "I set a monster in Defense Position!" A card appeared in front of Oshita.
"This may seem like a basic move, but it is the first step to the formation of my strategy. I end my turn." Oshita finished.

"The first step to his formation, what is he planning? A Reverse Effect?" Yuya thought.
"Yuya Ryuga's data provided by Eve. He will try to gather materials in order to summon multiple monsters with his Pendulum Summon. Like a chef, the first step to making the perfect dish, gather all your ingredients." Oshita thought.
"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "Damn it, my Pendulum Scales are too narrow. I can't summon any monster like this. Should I pass? But what if he uses that monster for an Advance Summon? I can't figure out his strategy."
"If that card is important to him, then I should destroy it. This is the only monster I can summon now." Yuya grabbed his card. "I summon Timegazer Magician (ATK: 1200, LV: 3, PS: 8)!" Yuya summoned his magician.
"Timegazer Magician, attack his Defense Monster! Gear Cutter!" Timegazer Magician used his magic and sliced through the defensive monster.
"Ashingray's Reverse Effect activates! The opposing player must discard one card from their hand!" Oshita explained.
"So, that's his strategy, to reduce the number of monsters that I can summon with my Pendulum." Yuya looked at his hand and he discarded one card.
"Furthermore, when Ashingray is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon another Ashingray from my deck in face down Defense Position." Oshita set another monster. "And my deck is shuffled." Oshita's Duel Disk shuffled his deck.
"So, have you begun to read through my strategy?" Oshita asked.
"You're trying to eliminate my hand to prevent me from Pendulum Summoning." Yuya said.
"That's right." Oshita said. "Pendulum Monsters that are on the field are destroyed and get sent to the Extra Deck. But by forcing the player to discard them, not only can they be harder to summon, but it will cause you to not get the desired Pendulum Scale. This is my Pendulum Seal strategy."
"I end my turn." Yuya finished his turn.

"My turn! Draw!" Oshita drew his card. "In the past, during the Renaissance, an Italian political thinker once said this: There are three conditions for victory. The first condition, seize the chance. I summon Ipiria (ATK: 500, LV: 3)!" A small blue and white reptile appeared.
"When Ipiria is successfully summoned, I can draw one card from my deck." Oshita drew his card. "Then, I Flip Summon Ashingray (ATK: 500, LV: 3)!" Oshita flipped summon his monster.
"The second condition, maintain your expenses. Ashingray's Reverse Effect forces you to discard one card from you hand!" Oshita ordered. Yuya discarded another card.
"With this, I end my turn." Oshita finished his turn.

"All he did was force me to discard a card while he drew an additional one. Does he want me to attack?" Yuya wondered.
"Kuri!" Odd-Eyes Kuriboh got Yuya's attention. He placed his hand on Yuya's heart. "Kuri, kuri!"
"Thanks, Kuriboh, no need to overthink this. Just go with my heart. And my deck will respond to it. My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "Thank you, my deck."
"From my hand, I activate Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon's effect! By releasing one Dark monster and sending one Odd-Eyes Dragon from my hand, deck or field to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon this card. I must thank you. Thanks to your database, I was able to get Odd-Eyes original form back." Yuya smiled.
The original Odd-Eyes Dragon appeared on the field. "I release Timegazer Magician." Timegazer Magician disappeared and its darkness shrouded Odd-Eyes Dragon as Yuya discarded the card.
"Appear! Magical darkness of courage that is able to cut through the light of destruction! Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon. A red and silver dragon with green and red gems along with magical circles in its hands appeared.
"Battle! Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon, attack Ipiria! Spiral Magic Burst!" Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon gathered magical power in its mouth and unleashed a breath attack.
"The third step for victory, tempt your enemies to follow the path of self-destruction. I activate my Deck Master's effect! By releasing two monsters on my field, I can change the opponent's monster's attack into a direct attack on its owner! Reflector Hole!" Oshita used his ability to create a hole that made Odd-Eyes breath attack go towards Yuya and Yuya got hit hard that he was knocked off his feet.
"Argh!" Yuya crashed onto the ground.

"Kuri!" Odd-Eyes Kuriboh went to Yuya.
Yuya grunted as he held his side. "This damage…"
"I told you. This is a Death Game. And when your Life Points hit 0, your life will also end." Oshita said. "Oh, it looks like another of the Seven Stars is about to battle." A screen appeared in the middle to show Rua, Aki, and Manjoume confronting Camula as she held Ruka.
"Everyone…" Yuya winced as he sat up while holding his side.
Vampire Castle
"Ruka!" Rua ran from behind Aki to Ruka, any fear he had now was gone as Ruka was more important to him.
"Stop!" Camula forced Rua to stop with a glare. She then lifted Ruka up. "Unless you want something to happen to your little sister. You know what our kind does, right?" Camula licked Ruka's neck, making her quiver.
"Let her go, please." Rua begged.
"That depends on you. You're a threat that must be eliminated in order for the utopia to be created. The Professor has promised a land of my own so that vampires may live in peace. Anything to benefit my kind is a worthy cause to fight. Just as you with your twin." Camula said.
"However, this Duel is not like the others. This is a Dark Duel." Camula explained.
"Dark Duel?" Aki questioned.
"If your party wins, this pillar will be deactivated and when all seven are down, you'll be able to break into the castle. But if we win, we decide the fates of you all. My comrade, Tania has already taken her prize."
"What?" Manjoume asked.
"She defeated Katsuya Jonouchi and is now getting ready for her wedding to him. But the foolish boy kept resisting so using the powers of the Millennium Items she erased all his memories, becoming a mindless puppet." Camula explained.
"No…no way…you're lying! Jonouchi wouldn't lose!" Rua yelled.
"It is true, furthermore, Yuzu Hiiragi is under our custody. Just three more and the utopia will be realized." Camula said.
"Damn it…I'll Duel you, if I win you will release Ruka as well as Jonouchi and Yuzu!" Rua ordered.
"I will release Ruka, but Jonouchi and Yuzu's fates are up to Tania. I can give you her location if you do win." Camula said. "With that said, if I win, I am free to do with you all however I wish. I could turn you into cards or…" Camula chuckled.
"Now then, shall we begin." Camula floated in the air and went to one balcony side. "As long as you're on Academia by the way, you can't use your Dimension Gates Field Magic."
"I don't need it to defeat you!" Rua ran up to the other balcony and activated his Duel Disk and Camula followed.
"Duel!" Rua and Camula declared.

"I will go first! Draw!" Camula drew her card. "I summon Vampire Lady (DEF: 1550, LV: 4) in Defense Position!" Camula summoned a lady dressed as a vampire. "I set one card and end my turn!"

"My turn! Draw!" Rua drew his card. "By banishing one Deformer monster from my hand, I Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Deformer Scannen (ATK: 1500, LV: 6)!" Rua summoned his scanner robot monster.
"Machines…the bane of the Undead." Camula glared at them with hatred.
"These machines are gonna make sure that you stay dead! Deformer Scannen's effect! When it's in Attack Position, I can add one Deformer Magic or Trap Card from my deck to my hand and then place one card from my hand on top of my deck." Rua shuffled his cards.
"Then, I summon Deformer Mobahon (ATK: 100, LV: 1) in Attack Position!" Rua summoned his cellphone robot. "Mobahon's effect! Dial on!" The numbers on Mobahon flashed before the number 1 was glowing. "One, that means if the top card is a Level 4 or lower Deformer monster, I can Special Summon it."
"The card you returned using your Tuner Monster's effect." Camula realized.
"Appear! Deformer Chakkan (ATK: 1200, LV: 3)!" Rua summoned his monster shaped like a lighter. "Chakkan's Attack Position's effect activates! Once per turn, I can release one monster on my field to inflict 600 points of damage to the opponent, I release Deformer Mobahon! Take this!" Chakan fired a stream of fire that burned Camula.

"I'm not done taking care of you! I'm Tuning my Level 3 Deformer Chakkan with my Level 6 Deformer Scannen!" Scannen turned into six green rings while Chakkan flew through them and became three stars.
"Gather your courage and turn it into an unbeatable power that can change the world! Synchro Summon! Appear! The embodiment of courage and justice! Level 9! Power Tool Braver Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 9)!" Rua summoned his Power Tool.
"He instantly summoned one of his strongest monsters already." Aki said.
"So, this is a Synchro Monster…" Camula looked at Power Tool.
"I'm ending this Duel now! When Power Tool Braver Dragon is Special Summoned, I can equip 3 Equip Magics from my deck to this card!" Rua shouted.
"3 Equip Magics?!" Camula's eyes widened.
"First, the Equip Magic: Double Tool D&C! This increases Power Tool Braver Dragon's Attack Points by 1000!" Power Tool got the two tools and increased in power.
Power Tool (ATK: 2500→3500)
"Equip Magic: Meteor Strike! This allows Power Tool Braver Dragon to deal piercing damage to a monster in Defense Position!" Rua gave another power to Power Tool.
"And lastly, Equip Magic: Mage Power! For every, Magic and Trap Card I have on the field, Power Tool's Attack and Defense increase by 500 points!"
Power Tool (ATK: 3500→5000)
"5000 Attack Points!" Camula was shocked.
"If he attacks Vampire Lady, the damage from Meteor Strike's effect will be 3450." Manjoume observed.
"Her Life Points are down to 3400 thanks to Rua's combo with Chakkan earlier." Aki looked at Rua with concern. "He's definitely strong when his sister is in danger, but…"
"Now you die! Power Tool Braver Dragon, attack Vampire Lady! Brave Drill!" Power Tool Braver Dragon charged and was about to strike Vampire Lady with its drill.
"I activate my Trap Card: Mystical Red Moon! By discarding one Undead-type monster in my hand, this card adds the Attack Points of your attacking monster to my Life Points and the Battle Phase is forced to end!" The drill struck the moon card and Camula was covered in yellow light.
"Now you're 5000 Attack Points will be added to my Life Points." Camula said.
"From my hand, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Power Tool Downgrade! By releasing Power Tool Braver Dragon, I can Special Summon Power Tool Revolution Dragon (ATK: 2300, LV: 7) from my Extra Deck!" Power Tool Braver Dragon disappeared as it downgraded to Power Tool Revolution Dragon.
"With the target gone, she won't gain Life Points from her card's effect." Aki smiled.
"What?!" Camula was shocked that her bonus was gone.
"I set one card and end my turn!" Rua finished his turn.

Rua LP: 4000, Hand: 2
"My turn! Draw!" Camula drew his card. "I activate the Magic Card: Fusion! I fuse the Vampire Lady on my field with Vampire Lord in my hand!" The two vampires entered the spiraling vortex.
"Mistress of vampires, lord of the vampires, now is the time to combine your powers to create the ultimate ruler of the vampires! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 8! Vampire Ruler (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" A large male vampire appeared on the field with a blood red cape and blood red robes.
"But that's not the end, I activate the Magic Card: Resurrection of the Dead! Come back! Vampire Lord (ATK: 2000, LV: 5)!" Vampire Lord appeared again. "Next, I banish Vampire Lord, to Special Summon Vampire Genesis (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Camula summoned a large Vampire monster.
"Two monsters with 3000 Attack Points!" Aki exclaimed.
"That Camula is ruthless." Manjoume commented.
"Now to get rid of that eyesore of a monster. Battle! Vampire Ruler, attack Power Tool Revolution Dragon!" Vampire Ruler gathered power in his hands and fired a blast at the dragon.
"I activate my Trap Card: Deformer Dimension Shield! By banishing all Deformer monsters in my Graveyard, I can end the Battle Phase this turn! Furthermore, one Machine-type monster on my field gains 300 Attack Points for every Deformer monster that is banished!" Rua's four Deformer monsters created a shield and gave Power Tool more strength.
Power Tool Revolution Dragon (ATK: 2300→3500)
"Tch…that's not cute at all. I end my turn!" Camula got irritated.

Rua LP: 4000, Hand: 2
"My turn! Draw!" Rua drew his card. "Battle! Power Tool Revolution Dragon, attack Vampire Genesis! Shovel Claw!" Power Tool Revolution Dragon used its shovel claw and destroyed Vampire Genesis while damaging Camula.
Camula LP: 3400→2900
"Next, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Rising Courage! When Power Tool successfully destroys a monster in battle, it gains half of that destroyed monster's Attack Points and is allowed to attack once more!" Rua made his Power Tool gain power.
Power Tool (ATK: 3500→5000)
"Again?!" Camula exclaimed.
"Power Tool Revolution Dragon, attack Vampire Ruler! Drill Dive!" Power Tool attacked this time using its drill and piercing through the Vampire and Camula screamed as she was blown back.
Camula LP: 2900→900
"I set two cards and end my turn!" Rua finished his turn.
Camula LP: 900, Hand: 1
Rua LP: 4000, Hand: 0
"Man, this kid is really dominating against Camula." Manjoume said.
"That's how strong his devotion to his sibling is. He will do whatever it takes to make sure that they are all right. And their bond is stronger because they are twins." Aki looked at Rua's determination to save Ruka.
"Not all siblings…" Manjoume muttered.
"You…stupid brat. You and your machines…I will destroy both of you!" Camula's face shifted to a more disgusting and vicious expression. "My turn! Draw!"
"From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Phantom Gate!" A gate appeared behind Camula.
"Phantom Gate?" Rua questioned.
"This card destroys all monsters on my opponent's field!" The gate destroyed Rua's Power Tool Revolution Dragon. "And here comes the best part." A double of Camula was created.
"This card allows me to Special Summon any monster that was used during this Duel, ignoring any requirements." Camula explained.
"Any monster?!" Rua exclaimed.
"Yes, including that annoying Power Tool Braver Dragon! And letting me use its Monster Effect!" Camula said.
"That card is broken! There has to be a cost!" Rua shouted.
"There is. The cost would be my own soul. Should I lose this Duel, my soul will be trapped in limbo, never to move on, lost to oblivion." Camula said. "But I think I'll make a substitution."
The bats swirled in front of the second Camula, bringing Ruka to her. "Ruka!" Rua yelled. The second Camula then bit down on Ruka's neck, making her scream in pain. "Ruka!" Rua yelled louder.
"I sacrifice this brat to summon Power Tool Braver Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 9)!" Power Tool Braver Dragon appeared on Camula's field and Ruka screamed as her soul was being used to summon it.
"No!" Rua cried.
"Ruka…Power Tool." Rua looked where his sister was, in pain and now his most trusted monster was now his enemy.
"Please, defeat this Power Tool Braver Dragon! But the moment you destroy it, your sister's soul that was used to summon it will be lost to oblivion, in other words, should you win this Duel, you will lose your sister, forever." Camula smiled.
"That dirty bitch…" Aki growled. "Rua loves Ruka, there's no way he can go through with this."
"She used their bond against them." Manjoume said.
"Battle! Power Tool Braver Dragon! Direct Attack!" Power Tool Braver Dragon charged and struck at his master and Rua was blown towards a wall.
Rua LP: 4000→1500
"At this moment, I activate Vampire Ruler's effect from the Graveyard! After the Battle Phase, where I successfully inflicted battle damage, this monster is Special Summoned to the field! Revive! Vampire Ruler (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Camula's Fusion Monster returned.
"And the opponent takes 800 points of damage!" Vampire Ruler flew towards Rua and bit him on the neck, making him scream in pain.

"I end my turn! That's what I like, you humans in pain. Now you know what it's like to be treated like garbage and being hunted to the death." Camula said.
"Wh-What?" Rua grunted.
"In Middle-Age Europe, the vampire race was proud of being in the height of their prosperity. As a proud race, we lived in isolation." Camula explained.
"But you humans hated our existence and went to the ends of the earth to eliminate our kind. That's why by working with the Professor, I will bring back my vampire brethren and we will destroy all humans that oppose us! Starting with those that use those disgusting machines like you!" Camula shouted.
"Either way, you cannot win, your sister is my sacrifice and if you destroy Power Tool, her soul will be lost forever! Twins are loyal to one another, so there's no way you will do anything to harm her. There's only one way to save her and you know what it is." Camula smiled.
"She's right. Ruka is everything to me. I can't…I won't hurt her. But if I lose, we will lose more people. We can't afford that right now." Rua thought. "What do I do? What can I do?"
"What's wrong? Hurry up and do your turn! There's nothing more you can do!" Camula got irritated.

Rua LP: 700, Hand: 0
"My…turn…" Rua put his fingers on his deck. "I want to save everyone. So please, my deck! Answer me!"
"Draw!" Rua drew his card. "I activate Angel's Charity! I draw three cards and then discard two!"
Rua drew his cards and he smiled. "Thank you, my deck!" Rua smiled as he discarded two of them. "Reverse Card, open! I activate the Magic Card: Resurrection of the Dead! Return to the field, Power Tool Revolution Dragon!" Rua summoned his monster back.
"Next, from my Graveyard, I activate Revolution Synchron's Monster Effect!" Rua shouted. "When I have Level 7 or higher Synchro Monster, I can send the top card of my deck to the Graveyard and Special Summon this monster but it will become a Level 1! Come! Tuner Monster, Revolution Synchron (ATK: 900, LV: 1)!" A tiny version of Power Tool appeared.
"What are you doing?! You can't win! As long as I have your sister's soul…" Camula got angry.
"We're taking Ruka back!" Rua shouted.
"We?" Camula questioned.
"Before I Synchro Summon, I activate my other set card! Continuous Trap: Double Synchro! This card allows me to use the monsters on my field to Synchro Summon two monsters at the same time!" Rua smiled.
"What?!" Camula gasped.
"I'm Tuning my Level 7 Power Tool Revolution Dragon with my Level 1 Revolution Synchron!" Revolution Synchron turned into a single large green ring and Power Tool Revolution Dragon flew through it and became seven stars and created a beam of light that was too big for one monster.
"These are the monsters that represent Ruka and I!" Rua said. "The echoing courage and power that resides in your heart! Unleash it to break through your armored prison and protect the planet! Synchro Summon! Appear! Guardian of the Crimson Dragon's servants! Life Resolution Dragon (ATK: 2900, LV: 8)!" Rua's dragon appeared.
"Guardian of the Spirit World, appear before us and bless us with your holy light! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon (ATK: 2600, LV: 8)!" Rua summoned Ruka's dragon. The dragon immediately roared and glared at Camula with hatred.
"Ancient Fairy…" Ruka smiled as she saw her dragon.
"If you destroy Power Tool Braver Dragon, your sister's soul will be lost! Don't you understand that!" Camula was getting fed up.
"When Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon is Synchro Summoned, it negates the effects of all of my opponent's face up cards on the field." Rua said seriously.
"What all face up cards?!" Camula gasped.
"Yes, that includes Phantom Gate! And with its effects negated, Power Tool Braver Dragon and Ruka are returned to me! Blinding Sunshine!" Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon released a blinding light that made Camula scream as it was too much. The Phantom Gate was forced shut and the clone of Camula disappeared, allowing Life Resolution Dragon to save Ruka and return her to Rua.
"Impossible!" Camula couldn't believe it.
"Rua!" Ruka hugged her older brother. "Thank you…"
"So, what?! I still have Vampire Ruler on the field and he's stronger than your pathetic dragons!" Camula shouted.
Rua smiled. "Let's do this." Rua held up his last card. Ruka smiled and held the card too.
"We activate the Magic Card: Bond Between Twins!" Rua and Ruka played their last card. "When Life Resolution Dragon and Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon are both on the field, they are allowed to attack as one with their Attack Points combined!"
"What did you say?!" Camula exclaimed.
Life Resolution/Ancient Fairy (ATK: 5500)
"From the ruins of the machines, comes the majestic creatures of light that can vanquish the vampires of darkness!" Rua shouted. "Battle! Life Resolution Dragon!"
"Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon!" Ruka shouted.
"Attack Vampire Ruler! Sunshine of Resolution!" Both Life Resolution Dragon and Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon unleashed a bright light that shined even brighter than the sun and burned Vampire Ruler to ashes.
"No, this can't be! My utopia!" Camula screamed as the light also burned her to ashes, leaving nothing left of her behind.
Camula LP: 900→0
Winner: Rua Godwin
"We did it, Ruka." Rua smiled.
"Yeah." Ruka smiled back.
Suddenly, the entire castle started to shake. "The place his falling apart, let's get out of here!" Manjoume shouted.
"Rua! Ruka! Hurry!" Aki shouted.
"Come on!" Rua took Ruka's hand and they all ran out just as the entire Vampire Castle started collapsing
Academia - Lake
Rua, Ruka, Aki and Manjoume watched as the entire Vampire Castle was brought down into the water and the dark clouds that surrounded the entire area disappeared to reveal the blue sky.
"I can't believe I fought an actual vampire." Rua admitted. "Academia is definitely full of dangerous Duelists."
"Yeah, we were very lucky to get out of this." Aki said.
"That's one pillar down, only six more to go." Manjoume said.
"Let's go to where Jonouchi is. We have to…to…to…" Rua felt woozy before falling forward into the ground.
"Rua!" Ruka cried out.
"Hey, what's wrong?!" Manjoume knelt down to the boy. Rua started sweating and he was starting to lose color.
Aki's eyes widened. "When Vampire Ruler bit him in the neck." Aki knelt down and looked at Rua's neck and the spot where he was bitten was turning black and purple.
"There's a venom spreading throughout his body, it could kill him if nothing is done." Aki put her hands together and her body began to glow. She placed her hands over Rua's wound and started to heal him.
"U-Urgh…" Aki felt weak. "I don't care how much this takes from my life; I won't let this child die." Aki worked harder to heal Rua.
"Rua…" Ruka got worried for her brother.
"Damn it…we won the Duel, but we're still losing the war." Manjoume cursed. "And who knows who they have at the other pillars."
Yuya vs Oshita
"Well, that was an interesting Duel." Oshita commented. "I will admit that your friend is very tenacious and his determination is something to be admired about. However, this is war, to win you must lose some battles."
"Rua is still a child. We're all still kids and you don't care what happens to us?" Yuya questioned.
"They say that the children are the future. However, that doesn't mean the future will be greater than before. Children these days have nothing to drive them towards success. All they do is rely on their parents and adults to take care of the hard work for them while they go through life without a care."
"And whenever something doesn't go their way, they blame it on everyone else without a care in the world. Children who think that way will be on the path to failure and self-destruction which leads to tragedy on innocent victims. Even you cannot deny this truth." Oshita lectured.
"There might be people like that in the world, but right now, I'm doing the right thing by stopping Academia from forcefully fusing the dimension!" Yuya shouted.
"Then try all you want, but you have already used up your monster's attack. You cannot inflict any damage to me this turn." Oshita declared.
"Kuri! Kuri!" Odd-Eyes Kuriboh got in front of Yuya.
"Odd-Eyes Kuriboh?" Yuya questioned.
"Kuri!" Kuriboh released a magical aura and from Yuya's Graveyard Odd-Eyes Dragon appeared and turned into healing light on Yuya.
Yuya LP: 1500→4000
"This is…your Deck Master Effect?" Yuya felt himself get better. Yuya looked at his Duel Disk. "I see, once per turn, I can banish an Odd-Eyes monster from my Graveyard and gain Life Points equal to its Attack Points."
"To think that puffball had an effect like that." Oshita got ticked off.
"Oshita, the Duel is just getting started! Let's do this!" Yuya shouted. "I'll defeat you and my friends will defeat the Seven Stars!"
Academia – Professor's Chamber
"What?!" Leo barked. "What do you mean it won't work?!"
"I'm right in front of you, so don't shout." Eve cleaned out her ears. "Like I said, I cannot take back my power just because you caught one of the girls. To get my power back, I need to defeat them personally."
"I don't care about your power, you said by capturing the girls, Ray would be revived!" Leo shouted.
"Reviving Ray is not as simple as you think it is. It's a very complicated process that if I explained to you, you would ignore me and put all the work we put in this for nothing." Eve scolded. "Look, you just focus on getting ready to take out Yuya while I take care of the girls. By defeating Yuya, you will get the Adam Factor and when I defeat the girls, I will get the Eve Factor, combined with the life energy the Three Phantasms have gathered, the United World will be created, you'll have your daughter back, I get the love of my life and nobody will remember this entire war."
"Okay, okay." Leo took a deep breath. "I already have one, so we don't have to—"
"Uh, Professor." An Amazoness called on the screen. "Yuzu Hiiragi has escaped."
"What?!" Leo screamed.
Colosseum Prison
Yuzu was asleep as she was still chained to the wall. "Hey, you have to eat." An Amazoness came in with food. Yuzu didn't wake up.
"Hey, we can't deliver you to the Professor if you're dead." The Amazoness put a spoon of food to Yuzu's mouth but she didn't open.
"Come on, I'm getting—" The Amazoness was quickly knocked out as Yuzu's right arm broke free from her chain and she whacked her with a paper fan.
"Hey, what's going on?!" Another Amazoness walked it, but she was hit with a tranquilizer dart and was knocked unconscious.
Yuzu effortlessly got out of her chains, revealing that they were unlocked the whole time. "Took you long enough." Yuzu complained.
"I had to paddle all the way from the mainland." Appearing at the main door was Akari with a blow dart gun. "Now, where's the skank that took my man?"
