And here we are with Chapter 04 of the Fusion Arc. Hope you guys are doing well. I've been sick for a while so I've only been writing bits whenever I felt like it. But I'm feeling better now so I could post this chapter today.
Now let's get to it.
Chapter 04: The Counterattack Stars Now
Yuya vs Oshita

"It seems you understand the effects of your Deck Master, but you can only recover your Life Points once per turn." Oshita pointed out. "My turn! Draw!" Oshita drew his card.
"Hm, first I'll seal your Deck Master's ability. I activate the Continuous Magic: Dimensional Fissure! As long as this card is on the field, any monster sent to the Graveyard will be banished instead!"
"And now, I activate the Magic Card: Lightning Vortex! By discarding one card from my hand to the Graveyard, all monsters on your field are destroyed!" Lightning bolts hit Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon, destroying it and being banished from the Duel.
"Damn it. I can't use Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon's effect to Special Summon an Odd-Eyes monster from my deck or add Spiral Strike Burst to my hand." Yuya thought.
"Next, I summon Yowie (ATK: 500, LV: 3)!" Oshita summoned a reptile monster. "When this monster is summoned, you are forbidden from drawing during your Draw Phase!"
"And now I activate the Equip Magic: Premature Burial! By paying 800 Life Points, I'm able to Special Summon a monster from my Graveyard! I revive Ipiria (ATK: 500, LV: 3)!" Oshita brought back his lizard monster. "And with Ipiria's effect, I draw one card!" Oshita drew another card.

"There are no monsters on your field! Battle! Ipiria and Yowie! Direct Attack!" The two reptiles charged in and struck Yuya.
Yuya LP: 4000→3000
"I end my turn." Oshita finished his turn.

"He has two monsters on the field again." Yuya thought. "If I attack, he'll release them and I'll take damage equal to my monster's Attack Points." Yuya looked at his hand. "I still don't have a decent Pendulum Scale. Furthermore, I can't use Odd-Eyes Kuriboh's Deck Master effect because all of my monsters that go to the Graveyard are banished by Dimensional Fissure."
"My turn." Yuya declared but couldn't draw a card. "Because of Yowie's effect, I can't draw."
"You have a greater chance of winning a war if you have higher numbers. Such advice can be found in countless numbers of strategical books." Oshita lectured. "For example, it was said in Ancient China, "You can't do harm to a battalion." Or in France, "Victory lies in keeping a battalion."
"Another example is from a militarist of Prussia, "The quantity of troops is just one of the factors in winning." Oshita added. "Even with all of your allies from the other dimensions, Academia still have more warriors than the Dimension Guardians."
"What do you mean?" Yuya asked.
"That Duelist that your friend Rua fought, Camula. She was from an era of actual vampires. And Tania which defeated your uncle, Jonouchi, she is from an actual Amazon lineage. Academia has recruited beyond the Four Dimensions; we were able to recruit people from different times and worlds!" Oshita declared.
"So, what you're saying is Accademia found a way to navigate throughout time and space without disrupting the flow of time?" Yuya questioned.
"That's right. The greatest path to a bright future is the wisdom of the dark past." Oshita said. "Now, start your turn. Not that there's anything you can do about it."
Yuya looked at his hand. "I can't Normal Summon with this hand and the Scales won't let me Pendulum Summon." Yuya then noticed something with one of his cards. "Wait, those aren't my only options. Heh, how embarrassing for the Pioneer of Pendulum Summoning to forget a Pendulum Card's key feature."
Yuya grabbed two cards from his hand. "Using the Scale 6 Oafdragon Magician and the Scale 7 Black Hole Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya's two magicians appeared in his Pendulum Scale.
"Scale 6 and Scale 7? You can't even Pendulum Summon with that scale. Have you finally lost your mind?" Oshita questioned.
"I activate Black Hole Magician's Pendulum Effect! By paying half of my Life Points, Black Hole Magician is allowed to destroy all cards on the field!" Yuya revealed.
"What?! All cards?!" Oshita exclaimed.
"Black Hole Magician, please!" Yuya grunted as he paid his Life Points.
Yuya LP: 3000→1500
Black Hole Magician spun his staff in a circle and created a black hole that started sucking all the monsters in, including Oafdragon Magician. "My lineup!" Oshita shouted as his wall was gone.
"And that's not the only thing." Yuya smiled. "If had had another Magician monster in my Pendulum Zone when I used this effect, in exchange for not Pendulum Summoning this turn, I'm able to Special Summon a monster that has been banished!"
"Impossible?!" Oshita gasped.
"Return to me! Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon!" Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon returned to the field and roared. "Go! Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon! Direct Attack! Spiral Magical Burst!" Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon unleashed its attack and it struck Oshita making him scream in agony.

"The counterattack starts now." Yuya smiled.
Academia – Amazon Colosseum
A wedding altar was created in the colosseum where the Amazons watched as Tania was about to marry Jonouchi. Tania was in a wedding dress while Jonouchi was in a suit, with his eyes still lifeless.
"Katsuya Jonouchi, do you take Tania to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The officiant asked.
"Yes…" Jonouchi said emotionless.
"And Tania…" The officiant was grabbed in a chokehold by Tania.
"You already know the answer just skip everything and declare us married!" Tania growled.
"B-But I have to go through the process or the marriage is null." The officiant choked out.
"Fine. I do." Tania let go of the officiant.
"Good luck, pal." The officiant whispered to Jonouchi, who didn't respond at all. "If there's anyone in this room that thinks these two should not be together, speak now or forever hold your peace."
Tania sent a death glared to the audience, which was made up of Academia students and Amazons. They all shook their heads and sweated.
"I object!"
The main door to the colosseum was broken down by Akari driving her motorcycle with Yuzu behind her. "That's my man!" Akari drove between Jonouchi and Tania, separating them. "I'll take one groom to go."
"No! He's mine!" Tania ran towards them.
"Back off!" Yuzu whipped out her fan and whacked Tania across the face. "Go!"
Akari picked up Jonouchi and started to drive away. "Stop them!" Tania ordered. The Duel Academia soldiers were confused as to what was going on so they just stayed in their seats while the other Amazoness charged towards the speeding bike.
"Kattobingu!" Akari ran over most of the Amazoness and escaped the colosseum.
"My groom!" Tania was going to run after them before Yuzu got in her way.
"Time for some payback!" Yuzu growled.
"Don't think you're getting away with this!" Tania pulled out the Millennium Rod and the eye shined.
Academia – Cliffside/Beach
"Don't worry, Jonouchi. I'll get you as far away as—" Akari drove before Jonouchi put her in a chokehold. "J-Jonouchi…stop…we're…"
Akari lost control of the motorcycle and they fell off a cliff and crashed right down to the beach. "O-Ow…" Akari winced. She then picked up by the neck by Jonouchi. "J-Jonouchi…"
"I won't forgive anyone who separates me from my beloved Tania!" Jonouchi's expression which was null and void was now full of anger and hatred at Akari. "I will choke the life out of you!"
"J…Jonouchi…" Akari choked. "Fight it…that woman is messing with your mind. You're stronger than this…" Jonouchi increased his grip on Akari making her cough out.
"Tania is all I need! I don't need anyone else! The world can be destroyed for all I care! As long as Tania is with me, nothing matters to me anymore!" Jonouchi shouted.
"Snap…out…of it!" Akari swung her leg and hit Jonouchi right where the sun doesn't shine, making him let go of her. Akari held her neck and gasped for air. "I'm sorry, but you left me no choice."
"I'm going back to Tania and if that means I have to kill you, then so be it!" Jonouchi activated his Duel Disk.
"Jonouchi…" Akari stood up. "It's not good, nothing I say will get through to him. In that case…"
"I'll get my feelings through to you with my cards!" Akari activated her Duel Disk.
"It doesn't matter what you do, my mind is made up. I'm with Tania, I'm with Academia!" Jonouchi declared.
"I'm not giving up on you! That's my Kattobingu!" Akari shouted.
"Duel!" Akari and Jonouchi declared.

"I'll go first! Draw!" Akari drew her card. "I summon Dodododwarf Gogogoglove (ATK: 0, LV: 4)!" A monster that wore armor of rock. "Next, when a Level 4 monster is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon this monster from my hand! Come! Kagetokage (ATK: 1100, LV: 4)!" Akari summoned a shadowlike lizard.
"I Overlay my Level 4 Dodododwarf Gogogoglove and Kagetokage!" The two monsters turned into brown and purple light and entered the spacelike portal in front of Akari.
"Wandering wielder of dual pistols, appear on this battlefield and liberate our allies from the enemy! Xyz Summon! Appear! Rank 4! Gagaga Gunman (DEF: 2400, RNK: 4, OVU: 2)! A man dressed as a cowboy with two guns appeared on the field.
"I activate Gagaga Gunman's effect! When it's in Defense Position, by using one Overlay Unit, I can inflict 800 points of damage to the opponent!" Akari pointed to Jonouchi. "Go! Gagaga Gunman!"
Gagaga Gunman loaded the Overlay Unit into his gun and fired it at Jonouchi, but Jonouchi didn't flinch at all.

"I set one card and end my turn." Akari finished her turn.

"My turn! Draw!" Jonouchi drew his card and smiled. "I activate the Magic Card: Thunder Bolt! This card destroys all monsters on the opponent's field!" A thunderbolt destroyed Gagaga Gunman instantly.
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Red-Eyes Fusion! I send Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Saint Knight Ishzark from my deck to the Graveyard and fuse them!" Jonouchi's ace monster as well as a knight in white armor appeared and entered the spiraling vortex.
"Dragon with red eyes, become one with the holy knight and give birth to a dragon with the sharpest of blades! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 7! Red-Eyes Slash Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 7)!" Jonouchi summoned his Red-Eyes Fusion monster with swords.
"Battle! Red-Eyes Slash Dragon! Direct Attack! At this moment, Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's effect activates! When a Red-Eyes monster battles, I can Equip a Warrior monster to Red-Eyes Slash Dragon and have it gain 200 Attack Points! I equip Saint Knight Ishzark!" Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's blades got sharper.
Red-Eyes Slash Dragon (ATK: 2800→3000)
"I target Red-Eyes Slash Dragon to activate the Trap Card: Half Unbreak!" Akari used her Trap Card.
"I see, you plan to only use the effect to cut the damage in half." Jonouchi realized. "But I'm not letting you take it easy! I activate Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's other effect! By sending the Equip Card to the Graveyard, I can negate the activation of a card that targets a card on my field and destroy it!" Akari's Trap Card was destroyed.
Red-Eyes Slash Dragon (ATK: 3000→2800)
"Cut her down! Slice and Dice!" Red-Eyes Slash Dragon slashed right at Akari, making her scream in pain as she fell to her knees.
Akari LP: 4000→1200
"I set one card and end my turn." Jonouchi laughed.
"J-Jonouchi…" Akari held her stomach. She then felt her hand wet and she gasped as she saw that she was bleeding.
"My dear Tania made it so that all the damage I inflict is real. You will suffer a slow a painful death!" Jonouchi laughed without a care.
Academia – Amazon Colosseum
"What did you do?" Yuzu asked.
"This Millennium Rod allows me to control a person's mind. Right now, my darling Jonouchi is taking care of your friend. As for you, I'll take you to the Professor personally.
"I won't lose to you!" Yuzu argued.
Tania smiled and show two decks. "As I told you, I have two decks. So, which one do you want?"
"I'll take on your Knowledge Deck." Yuzu said.
"That's understandable. Since you saw the Courage Deck, you probably thought you couldn't stand a chance." Tania inserted the Knowledge Deck and activated her Duel Disk.
Yuzu activated her Duel Disk and the Duel Academia soldiers and Amazons exited the colosseum and into the seats.
"Duel!" Yuzu and Tania declared.

"I'm going first! Draw!" Yuzu drew her card. "I summon Canon the Melodious Diva (DEF: 2000, LV: 4) in Defense Position!" Yuzu summoned her singer who took a defensive stance. "Next, I set the Scale 2 Coral the Melodious Diva in the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu set the first part of her scale.
"Just one?" Tania questioned.
"I end my turn!" Yuzu finished her turn.

"My turn! Draw!" Tania drew her card. "I activate the Field Magic: Amazoness Village!" The field transformed into a village for the Amazons. "With this field, all Amazon monsters on my field gain 200 Attack Points!"
"Now, take a look at this card." Tania showed one of her Monster Cards.
"Amazoness Trainee?" Yuzu questioned. "Why are you showing me that card?"
"Simple, by revealing an Amazoness monster in my hand, I can Special Summon this monster! Come! Amazoness Spy (ATK: 800, LV: 3)!" Tania summoned a female warrior with a cape and mask.
"Next, I release Amazoness Spy! Appear! Amazoness Queen (ATK: 2400, LV: 6)!" The Queen of the Amazons appeared.
"And with Amazoness Village, her Attack Points increase." Tania added
Amazoness Queen (ATK: 2400→2600)
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Amazoness Charm! This switches your monster from Defense Position to Attack Position and it gains 200 Attack Points!" Canon was forced to take a fighting stance.
Canon the Melodious Diva (ATK: 1400→1600)
"Battle! Amazoness Queen attack the Canon the Melodious Diva!" Amazoness Queen charged and sliced Canon with her sword, destroying the singer and damaging Yuzu.
Yuzu LP: 4000→3000
"Too easy." Tania smiled. Suddenly, Amazoness Queen suddenly fell to her knee and was shaking. "What? What's wrong?"
"Coral's Pendulum Effect." Yuzu answered. "When a Melodious monster is destroyed, one monster on the opponent's field has their effects negated and their Attack Points go down by 600!"
Amazoness Queen (ATK: 2600→2000)
"I set one card and end my turn!" Tania finished her turn.
Yuzu LP: 3000, Hand: 4

"My turn! Draw!" Yuzu drew her card. "With the already set Scale 2 Coral the Melodious Diva and the Scale 8 Drummer the Rock Diva, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu set her scale.
"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 3 to 7! The song withing my heart! Become the melody that brings harmony to all! Pendulum Summon! Appear!" The portal opened and two monsters came out.
"Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)! And Melodious Flower Wyvern (ATK: 1700, LV: 4, PS: 3)!" Yuzu summoned her dragon as well as a wyvern version of her dragon.
"Next, from my hand, I Normal Summon Crystal Rose (ATK: 500, LV: 2)!" Yuzu summoned her rose. "Crystal Rose is allowed to become a substitute for any Fusion Material for a Fusion Summon! I treat Crystal Rose as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Crystal Rose released a light and a copy of Odd-Eyes appeared on the field.
"Yuya, this is for you." Yuzu thought. "I activate Melodious Flower Wyvern's Monster Effect! Once per turn, I can send one Fusion card from my deck to the Graveyard in order to perform a Fusion Summon with monsters on my field!" The Wyvern let out a roar as Yuzu discarded a Fusion card.
"I fuse Melodious Flower Dragon with Crystal Rose being treated as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" The two dragons entered the spiraling vortex.
"Dragon with dichromatic eyes, become one with the dragon of Mother Earth herself and give birth to a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! The dragon that gives life to this world with her music! Nature-Eyes Harmony Dragon (ATK: 4000, LV: 10)!" Yuzu brought out the dragon that was the combination of her power and Yuya's.
"4000 Attack Points?!" Tania was shocked to see a powerful monster.
"When Nature-Eyes Harmony Dragon uses two Dragon-type Pendulum Monsters as Fusion Material, when it destroys a monster in battle, the opponent takes damage equal to the destroyed monster's Attack Points!" Yuzu revealed.
"So, in addition to the 2000 Points of Battle Damage, I'll get an additional 2000 points of damage! That's 4000!" Tania's eyes widened.
"This is my One Turn Kill! Battle! Nature-Eyes Harmony Dragon, attack Amazoness Queen! Graceful Melody!" Nature-Eyes Harmony Dragon jumped in the air and released a wave of musical notes that headed for Amazoness Queen.
"I activate my Trap Card: Amazoness Camouflage! By sending an Amazoness monster from my hand to the Graveyard, Amazoness Queen will gain that monster's effect! I discard Amazoness Fighting Warrior! With this, attacks involving Amazoness Queen won't inflict me battle damage!" Tania quickly moved into action and protected herself as Amazoness Queen was destroyed.
"But you can't avoid Nature Eyes' Monster Effect!" The musical wave hit Tania hard and she hit the wall of the colosseum leaving a large crack.

Oshita grumbled. "To think a brat like you managed to break through of my formation. I thought as a brat, you would push through with raw power."
"Master once told us, "There are Duelists that are younger than you, but stronger than I." Yuya did a proverb this time. "It's true that tactics and knowledge are important in a Duel, but what really determines the winner is the connection to the cards. No matter what place we're in, my cards haven't let me down, and I'll never stop believing in their potential."
"But that doesn't change the fact that I still have a chance to win! My turn! Draw!" Oshita drew his card. "I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Offerings to the Dead! At the cost of skipping my next Draw Phase, I destroy one monster on the field! I destroy Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon!" A beam of light shot at Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon, destroying it.
"But at this moment, Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon's effect activates! I Special Summon one Odd-Eyes monster from my deck or Graveyard! Appear! With your wondrous and beautiful dichromatic eyes! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Yuya summoned his ace monster.
"Furthermore, I can add the Magic Card: Spiral Strike Burst from my deck to my hand!" Yuya added the card to his hand.
"That card…I won't let you use that card! I—" Oshita looked at his hand before his eyes widened. "This is bad…there's nothing else in my hand that stop him. But that's impossible, I made sure to set my deck to give me the exact cards I needed! My strategy was flawless."
"No matter how strong a formation is, there's a small crack is enough to tear it down. You've been focusing on destroying my hand and preventing me from Pendulum Summon, that you failed to come up with a counter strategy should I overcome it. That's the difference between you and me, unlike you I adapt to the world, while you're stuck on the sayings of people of the past that you failed to noticed the world change!" Yuya declared.
"I…I set a monster in Defense Position and end my turn." Oshita finished his turn

"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "I activate the Magic Card: Spiral Strike Burst! When I have an Odd-Eyes Monster on the field, I destroy one card on the field, I destroy your set monster!" Oshita's card was destroyed.
"Battle! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Direct Attack! Spiral Strike Burst!" Odd-Eyes unleashed his breath attack and it burned Oshita.
"Damn you! Damn you to hell!" Oshita cursed as he was reduced to nothing.
Yuya sighed in relief. "I won…" Yuya then winced as he held his side. "But that damage is really something else. But I'm not worried. Reiji and Sawatari are both strong, they won't fall against those Big 5."
Academia – Professor's Chamber
Leo slammed his fist against the arm rest of his throne. "Damn it! I thought you said he could take care of him!"
"My apologies, I overestimated Oshita's abilities." Noah apologized. "But not to worry, I have Chikuzen Oka take on Shingo Sawatari and Soichiro Ota take on Reiji Akaba. Their Deck Masters, Judge Man and Machine Sergeant have very frightening effects."
"And the remaining two?" Leo looked at the other Big 5 members.
"They'll be on standby." Noah answered.
"Show me your decks." Leo ordered. "You as well, Noah."
"Sir?" Noah questioned.
"Show me." Leo repeated. Noah as well as Shuzo Otaki and Kogoro Daimon.
"Kogoro Daimon, what did you do for Kaiba Corporation?" Leo asked.
"I was the right-hand man of Gozaburo Kaiba and Seto Kaiba. I was originally the next in line for CEO if Gozaburo didn't have an heir." Daimon answered.
"And what about you, Shuzo Otaki?" Leo asked.
"I'm Kaiba Corporation's personnel manager. I'm known to gather information on everyone and everything." Otaki answered.
"I see." Leo pressed a button.
"Huh? Who's there?" Otaki heard a noise from behind him. "Wait, what are you?! No!" Otaki shouted in agony as purple light covered him.
"Useless Penguin Deck. Now do the job you're hired to do, or you can forget having a place in the United World!" Leo shouted. "And you can forget that artificial body, Noah!"
"Yes!" The remaining Big 5 members got scared.
"Yes sir." Noah looked down upset.
Leo looked at the other windows where Yuzu and Tania were Dueling as well as Akari and Jonouchi. "I will not tolerate failure anymore! Soldiers, I don't care who loses! Turn them into a card!"
Yuzu vs Tania
Tania fell to the ground and glared at Yuzu. "You will regret that! Amazoness Village's effect activates! When an Amazoness monster on the field is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon an Amazoness monster from my deck that has a Level less than the Amazoness monster in the Graveyard! Appear! Amazoness Swords Woman (ATK: 1500, LV: 4)!" Tania summoned her swords woman.
"And with Amazoness Village, her Attack Points go up!" Tania shouted.
Amazoness Swords Woman (ATK: 1500→1700)
"I could attack with Wyvern and destroy Amazoness Swords Woman so I won't have to deal with its effect, but if she wipes out Nature-Eyes." Yuzu looked at the last card in her hand.
"I end my turn!" Yuzu finished.

"My turn! Draw!" Tania drew her card. "I activate the Magic Card: Treasure Cards of the Heavens! Both players must draw until they have six cards in their hands!" Both Yuzu and Tania drew five cards.
"I activate the Magic Card: The Warrior Returning Alive! This lets me add a Warrior Monster from my Graveyard to my hand, I add Amazoness Queen to my hand and activate the Magic Card: Fusion!"
"I fuse Amazoness Queen in my hand with Amazoness Pet Tiger!" The two monsters entered the spiraling vortex.
"Queen of the Amazons! Become one with your loyal servant and bring fort a monster that is the king of the Jungle! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 9! Amazoness Pet King Liger (ATK: 2900, LV: 9)!" Tania summoned her first Fusion Monster.
"That monster…" Yuzu remembered seeing it. "But Nature-Eyes is still the stronger monster on the field.
"Is that so?" Tania asked.
"From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Amazoness Channeler! I return one Fusion Monster on the field to the Extra Deck and Special Summon all their Fusion Materials from the Graveyard! But Melodious Flower Dragon was sent to the Extra Deck, so not even Crystal Rose can be revived." Tania pointed out which made Yuzu grit her teeth.
"Furthermore, Amazoness Village is still active on the field so both Pet King Liger gains 200 Attack Points!" Tania shouted.
Amazoness Pet King Liger (ATK: 2900→3100)
"Battle! Amazoness Pet King Liger, attack Melodious Flower Wyvern!" Amazoness Pet King Liger pounced on the poor wyvern, destroying it and damaging Yuzu.

"Coral's Pendulum Effect activates!" Yuzu panted. "When a Melodious monster is destroyed, one monster on the field has their effects negated and their Attack Points reduced by 600! I choose Amazoness Swords Woman!"
Amazoness Swords Woman (ATK: 1700→1100)
"Don't let that stop you! Amazoness Swords Woman! Direct Attack! Head-Chopping Sword!" Amazoness Swords Woman charged in and swung her sword at Yuzu, making her cry in pain.
Yuzu LP: 1400→300
Yuzu felt to her knees as she held her side. "This pain…it's just like that time." Yuzu remembered when she faced Asuka's brother as Darkness, the damage was just as bad. The only difference was that back then, she had Asuka to help her, now she's by herself.
"I don't care if the Professor wants you alive! I will kill you for disturbing my wedding!" Tania growled.
"What wedding?" Yuzu glared at Tania. "You're supposed to be an Amazon. You're supposed have the pride of a woman, so why are you after a husband?"
"I'm the last descendant of the Amazon tribe. Do you realize what that means?" Tania asked. "As the last descendant, the fate of the Amazon culture and lifestyle rests in my hands."
"But if I die, who will carry on our legacy? We may be known throughout history, but eventually people forget about history and our names will be erased like dust in the wind."
"In order to keep the history of the Amazons alive, I must have a descendant, someone to carry on my legacy! I had hoped for Gloria and Grace, but they abandoned me. There's only one option left; I must have a child. But not just any child. I need a child that can survive through the harsh life of the Amazons. That's why I need a strong suitor and that is Jonouchi." Tania said.
"So, you're just using Jonouchi to have a child?" Yuzu asked.
"That's how the Amazons continued to live. We find a strong and noble man, mate with them and once our children are born, we use them as slaves or we kill them. I won't kill him, though. Not yet. Maybe after the 30th child."
"You sick freak!" Yuzu growled. "Jonouchi is not a tool for your selfish gain! He is a good man who deserves to be happy and deserves to be love! You're not meant to be for Jonouchi! It's Akari!"
"I doubt that. Jonouchi is under my control and right now he's tearing that girl to pieces. Tania said. "You can't stop the revival of the Amazon Tribe!"

Akari looked at Jonouchi in pain. "That looked like it hurt. I can't believe I fell for a weak girl like you. Tania is strong and is able to go through even the toughest of pain." Jonouchi praised.
"Jonouchi…" Akari winced as she got back on her feet. "I can't believe how strong the mind control on him is. This isn't…This isn't the Jonouchi that love." Akari started to cry.
"No, stop it!" Akari quickly wiped her tears. "The real Jonouchi is in there. You can't give up! This is just another challenge!"
"I'm going to Kattobingu! My turn! Draw!" Akari drew her card. "I summon Gagaga Sister (ATK: 200, LV: 2)!" Akari summoned a tiny magician.
"Then, since I have a Gagaga monster on my field, I can Special Summon Gagaga Kid (ATK: 800, LV: 2)!" Akari summoned a kid with an ice cream.
"Two Level 2? A Rank 2 monster?" Jonouchi asked.
"I activate Gagaga Sister's effect! Once per turn, I can select one monster on my field and its Level and Gagaga Sister's become the combined Levels of the two monsters! I select Gagaga Kid's Level 2! 2 plus 2 is 4 so both my monsters are Level 4!" Akari declared.

"And now when I have two Level 4 monsters on my field, I can Special Summon this monster! Appear Hope King, Kattobingu (ATK: 1700, LV: 4)!" Akari summoned a small warrior in white and yellow armor.
"Hope King, Kattobingu's Monster Effect! For every Gagaga, Gogogo or Dododo monster on my field, I can draw one card!" Akari drew two cards.
"I Overlay my Level 4 Gagaga Kid, Gagaga Sister and Hope King, Kattobingu!" The three monsters turned into two purple lights and one yellow light and entered the spacelike portal in front of Akari.
"Warrior of light and the beacon of hope! Appear before us now and shine your light on this warzone! Xyz Summon! Appear! Rank 4! Shining Number 39: King of Wishes, Hope One (ATK: 2510, RNK: 4, OVU: 3)!" Appearing was a warrior of light and large sword.
"Wh-What?!" Jonouchi covered his eyes.
"Next, I activate the Equip Magic: Shining Sword! If my Life Points are lower than my opponent's, this card doubles Hope One's Attack Points and is able to attack twice per battle!" Akari shouted.
"What?!" Jonouchi exclaimed.
Hope One grabbed its new sword and was prepared to fight.
Hope One (ATK: 2510→5020)
"Battle! Hope One, attack Red-Eyes Slash Dragon!" Hope One charged towards the dark dragon.
"You fool! I activate my Trap Card: Fairy Box! I toss a coin and if I call it right your monster's Attack Points are reduced to 0!" A coin appeared in Jonouchi's hand. Jonouchi flipped the coin in his hand. "Heads!" Jonouchi lifted his hand but it was Tails. "What?!"
"Go! Hope One! Hope One Shining Slash!" Hope One swung his sword and struck down Red-Eyes Slash Dragon and making Jonouchi scream in pain.
Jonouchi LP: 4000→1780
"Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's effect activates! When it's destroyed, I can Special Summon monsters from my Graveyard that were equipped to it! Come! Saint Knight Ishzark (DEF: 1800, LV: 6)!" The white knight took a defensive stance.
"Hope One! Use your second attack on Saint Knight Ishzark!" Akari ordered.
"Tch! You still attack even though you know you might lose? Fairy Box's effect!" Jonouchi flipped the coin again. "Tails!" The coin landed on Heads. "Again?!" Hope One destroyed Ishzark, and Jonouchi felt a sharp pain in his head.
"Your luck has abandoned you." Akari said. "I set one card and end my turn!" Akari finished her turn.

Jonouchi LP: 1780, Hand: 3
Akari winced as she held her bleeding side. "Just hang in there, my body." Akari then noticed Jonouchi holding his head in pain. "J-Jonouchi?"
Jonouchi removed his hand from his head and his expression of hate was gone. "H-Huh? Where am I?" Jonouchi looked around before noticing Akari. "Akari?"
"Jonouchi…Jonouchi, is it you?! Are you back to normal?" Akari smiled.
"Back to normal?" Jonouchi questioned. "Oh, that's right. I lost to Tania and she tried to erase my memories." Jonouchi then noticed Akari's wound. "You're hurt!" He then noticed his Duel Disk activated. "I hurt you."
"It's okay." Akari shook her head. "You're back to normal. We don't have to fight anymore."
"Akari…I'll end this." Jonouchi reached to put his hand on his deck.
"NO!" Jonouchi felt a sharp pain in his head again.
"Jonouchi?!" Akari got worried.
"You are the one I have chosen to resurrect my people! You will do as I say!" Tania's voice echoed in Jonouchi's head and he screamed louder.
"Jonouchi!" Akari cried.
"My turn! Draw!" Jonouchi drew his card. "I activate the Magic Card: Fireball! Yo take 500 points of damage!" A large fireball shot down from the sky and hit Akari that she screamed in pain.

Jonouchi laughed maniacally and so did Tania as they enjoyed hurting Akari and Yuzu. From the cliff above, Atem watched with a concerned and conflicted expression.
