Chapter 05: The Final Kattobingu
Academia – Cliffside
Atem looked down at the Duel between Jonouchi and Akari. He could clearly tell that something was not right with this Duel. Those two were on the same side, yet they were fighting each other.
"This…this is wrong. Even if they are the enemy. Who is even the enemy anymore?" Atem was confused.
Atem looked at his Duel Disk and he typed something in and a gold box with an eye appeared in front of him. "Father…tell me…is this the right time?" Atem closed his eyes as he recalled the last time he was with his father.
Fusion Dimension – Egypt
Atem had finished packing his belongings before he sat on his bed. "Are you having second thoughts, my son?" Atem looked up to see his father, Akhenamkhanen.
"Father…am I being selfish?" Atem asked. "I want to use Duel Monsters to be hero like the legendary Dragon Soldiers. And this ARC Area Project that was proposed sounds like the perfect way to unite everyone with Dueling. But…they say I'm not allowed to come back until the project is over."
"Achieving a utopia and peace takes time my son. Time that unfortunately, we are all limited too." Akhenamkhanen sat next to his son. "I will admit, the thought of not seeing you every day is inevitable. Every parent has to one day say good bye to their child so they could grow up and see the world. But you my son, you are not selfish."
"You chose to join for a noble cause and for your dream to be realized. A dream that I fully support because if anyone can achieve great things and bring peace to the world beyond, it is you. With that said, I have a gift for you." Akhenamkhanen showed a gold box with an eye in the middle.
"What's this?" Atem asked as he opened the box and inside were a bunch of pieces.
"This is what I found during my excavation of Ancient Egypt. Legend says that this was a Millennium Item, but it was broken into pieces. But just because something is broken doesn't mean it can't be fixed. Look here." Akhenamkhanen pointed to a couple of inscriptions.
"The person who solves this puzzle will have their wish granted. The one who solves me, will receive my dark knowledge and power. It may seem bad but power is not defined by its nature, its by the one who wields it. If it's you, you can use this power for good. Granted though, you have to solve it first, but if you ever find yourself conflicted on what path to take, solve this puzzle and it will give you the answers you seek." Akhenamkhanen advised.
Academia – Cliffside
Atem opened the box to reveal that some of the puzzle was already completed. "Please, Puzzle. Show me the right path." Atem started putting the puzzle pieces together.
"I want to do the right thing. Just like the Dragon Soldiers of legend." Atem thought.
Amazon Colosseum

Field: Scale 2 Coral the Melodious Diva, Scale 8 Drummer the Rock Diva
Tania LP: 2000, Hand: 2
Field: Amazoness Pet King Liger (ATK: 3100, LV: 9), Amazoness Swords Woman (ATK: 1100, LV: 4), Field Magic: Amazoness Village.
Yuzu was really angry as Tania looked smug. "I have the clear advantage in this Duel. Nothing you do can prevent my victory. I set one card and end my turn!"
"It's not over yet. As long as I have my Life Points, as long as I have my cards, I won't give up! My turn! Draw!" Yuzu drew her card.
I won't let you summon anymore Amazoness Monsters easily! From my hand, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Cyclone! This destroys a Magic or Trap Card on the field! I destroy Amazoness Village!" The cyclone destroyed the Field Magic returning the area to normal.
"With Amazoness Village destroyed, your monster's Attack Points go down!" Yuzu reminded Tania, who growled in response.
Amazoness Pet King Liger (ATK: 3100→2900)
Amazoness Swords Woman (ATK: 1100→900)
"And with my set scale, Pendulum Summon! Revive from the Extra Deck! Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)! And from my hand, Soprano the Melodious Songstress (ATK: 1400, LV: 4)! And Serena the Melodious Diva (ATK: 400, LV: 4)!" Yuzu summoned her three monsters.
"Serena the Melodious Diva can be counted as two releases for an Advance Summon of a Fairy-type monster! I release Serena the Melodious Diva! Enchanting melody echoing in the heavens. Awaken the sleeping virtuoso! Come forth! Level 8! Melodious Maestra – Prodigy Mozart (ATK: 2600, LV: 8)!" Yuzu summoned her original ace monster.
"You may be able to take down my Swords Woman, but none of your monsters are strong enough to take on Pet King Liger." Tania smiled.
"I activate Soprano the Melodious Songstress's Monster Effect! I can use this monster including another monster in my hand or field to perform a Fusion Summon! I fuse Soprano and Prodigy Mozart!" The two fairies joined together in the spiraling vortex.
"Angel's song! Supreme genius! By the guidance of the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Now debut on stage! Sing the song of victory! Melodious Floral Muse – Bloom Diva (ATK: 1000, LV: 6)!" Yuzu summoned her tiny fairy monster on a flower.
"Battle! Bloom Diva, attack Amazoness Pet King Liger!" Yuzu ordered.
"What?!" Tania was surprised as Bloom Diva unleashed a whirlpool of song while Pet King Liger charged.
"Bloom Diva's effect activates! When Bloom Diva battles a monster that was Special Summoned, she isn't destroyed, but Pet King Liger is destroyed and any damage I take is inflicted on to you! Reflect Shout!" Bloom Diva sung louder and Pet King Liger was destroyed and Tania was blown back.
Tania LP: 2000→100
"Now it's over because with your Amazoness Swords Woman's effect negated, you will take battle damage! Go! Melodious Flower Dragon, attack Amazoness Swords Woman! Harmony Petal Burst!" Flower Dragon unleashed her breath attack and a huge explosion occurred. "Did I do it?!" Yuzu tried to see through the smoke.
However, Tania was on her feet while sending a death glared at Yuzu.
Tania LP: 100
"Why?!" Yuzu was confused.
"My set card. The Trap Card: Amazoness Will!" Tania revealed her Trap Card. "When an Amazoness monster is destroyed in battle, I can activate this card! Any other damage I take this turn is reduced to 0."
"Damn it…" Yuzu cursed.
"But that's not all." Tania said. "By sending an Amazoness monster in my hand to the Graveyard, in exchange for my Draw Phase, I can add any Amazoness Magic or Trap card into my hand. Of course, I choose Amazoness Fusion."
"Next turn…she'll bring out Augusta." Yuzu looked at her remaining hand. "I set two cards and end my turn."
Yuzu LP: 300, Hand: 1
Tania LP: 100, Hand: 1
"My turn!" Tania declared but didn't draw her card. "I activate Amazoness Fusion! I'm sure you're aware of what it does?"
"It allows you to banish Amazoness monsters from your Graveyard to use as Fusion Material." Yuzu narrowed her eyes.
"I banish Amazoness Queen and Amazoness Pet King Liger and fuse them!" Tania's two monsters entered the spiraling vortex.
"King of the jungle, become one with your queen and give birth to the strongest and most powerful warrior of all the earth! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 10! Amazoness Augusta (ATK: 3200, LV: 10)!" Tania summoned her strongest monster.
"When Amazoness August is Fusion Summoned, once per turn, I can Special Summon one Amazoness monster from my deck! Appear! Amazoness Magician (ATK: 0, LV: 10)!" Tania summoned an Amazoness monster dressed in magician robes.
"I activate Amazoness Magician's effect! By releasing this card, I can destroy up to two cards on the field! I choose…Bloom Diva and one of your set cards!" Amazoness Magician disappeared but released a spell that destroyed Bloom Diva and one of Yuzu's set cards that Tania got to see.
"Oho, Karma Cut. By discarding one card from your hand, you're allowed to banish one monster on the opponent's field. You wanted me to attack so you could banish it, clever girl but not clever enough." Tania mocked.
"Battle! Amazoness Augusta, attack Melodious Flower Dragon!" Augusta charged towards Melodious Flower Dragon.
"I activate my Counter Trap: Pendulum Soul Shield! By banishing the Pendulum Cards in my Pendulum Zone, your monster's effects are negated and the Battle Phase ends!" Both of Yuzu's Pendulum Monsters on the scale turned into souls and protected Flower Dragon.
"Tch…so persistent." Tania cursed.
"But…opponent is allowed to discard one card in my hand and if that card's a monster, I take damage equal to its Attack Points." Yuzu reluctantly admitted.
"You only have one card in your hand, show it." Tania ordered. Yuzu showed the card.
"Heh, a Monster Card. Baritone the Country Diva. Tch, weak monster only 200 Attack Points, either way, this way you don't get in my way! Discard it!" Tania shouted.
Yuzu discarded the card and her own card damaged her, making her scream in pain and she fell forward and hit the ground.
Yuzu LP: 300→100
"Heh, the outcome is inevitable. You can't win. And now you'll pay the ultimate price. You sabotaged my wedding, but I'll get it back. Unlike you, who will never get married. I mean, what idiot would get involved with a weakling like you."
"Damn it…" Yuzu cursed as she continued to lay on the ground.
Jonouchi vs Akari
Akari LP: 700, Hand: 1
Field: Shining Number 39: King of Wishes, Hope One (ATK: 5020, RNK: 4, OVU: 3), Equip Magic: Shining Sword, 1 set card.
Jonouchi LP: 1780, Hand: 3
Field: No cards
Note: Jonouchi did not pay the cost of Fairy Box so it was destroyed.
Jonouchi laughed. "There are more ways to defeat an opponent in a Duel! You may have a stronger monster, but it means nothing in the face of my cards that deal direct damage!"
"Jonouchi…" Akari fell to her knee and held her stomach as it was still bleeding. "I know…you can snap out of it…"
"Snap out of it? I'm wide awake!" Jonouchi argued.
"No! The real you is in there! I know you can hear me, Jonouchi! Keep fighting it! You have to—Urgh!" Akari winced as the pain intensified.
"Tch…you're very annoying. It's still my turn. I activate the Magic Card: Treasure Cards of the Ruby! I send one Level 7 Red-Eyes monster from my hand to the Graveyard and draw two cards!" Jonouchi discarded his second copy of Red-Eyes and drew two more cards.
"Also, I can send a Level 7 Red-Eyes monster from my deck to the Graveyard!" Jonouchi sent his last copy to the Graveyard.
"I activate the Magic Card: Resurrection of the Dead! Revive! Red-Eyes Black Dragon (ATK: 2400, LV: 7)!" Jonouchi brought back his ace monster.
"Next, I release Red-Eyes!" Red-Eyes went back to the Graveyard. "Appear! Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (ATK: 2400, LV: 9)!" Jonouchi summoned a darker version of Red-Eyes.
"Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon gains 300 Attack Points for every Dragon-type monster in my Graveyard! I have four, so Darkness Metal Dragon gains 1200 Attack Points!"
Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (ATK: 2400→3600)
"I set one card and end my turn." Jonouchi finished his turn.
Akari LP: 700, Hand: 1
Jonouchi LP: 1780, Hand: 0
"Jonouchi…My turn. Draw." Akari drew her card weakly.
"I activate my Trap Card: Fairy Wind! I destroy all face-up Magic and Trap Cards on the field and for each one destroyed; we both take 400 points of damage!" Jonouchi smirked.
A strong burst of wind hit both Jonouchi and Akari, but Jonouchi brushed it off while Akari was knocked off her feet.

"And with Shining Sword destroyed, your monster's Attack Points return to normal!" Jonouchi smirked as Hope One got weaker.
Hope One (ATK: 5020→2510)
"So, what will you do? You're Hope One doesn't hold a candle to Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!" Jonouchi mocked.
Akari weakly rolled on her side and looked at the card that she drew. "I switch Hope One to Defense Position." Akari turned her card's position. "Then, I set one card and end my turn." She didn't even try to get up, the pain was overbearing for her.
Jonouchi smirked before he felt a sharp pain in his head. Now seeing Akari in pain didn't satisfy him at all. It was like…he hated doing it. "Wh-What is this pain?" Jonouchi held his head.
Akari LP: 300, Hand: 0
Jonouchi LP: 1380, Hand: 0
"It doesn't matter. I win! I will go back to my Tania!" Jonouchi thought of Tania. "My turn! Draw!" Jonouchi drew his card. "Battle! Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!"
"Jonouchi…" Akari closed her eyes in sadness. "I couldn't save you…" She waited for Jonouchi to call the attack, but it never came. Akari opened her eyes and she saw Jonouchi hesitating and holding his chest.
"Wh-Why? I have to win. For Ta—" Suddenly, Jonouchi's vision of Tania vanished and was instead replaced with Akari. "What?" He then felt a wave of memories flow into him.
Xyz Dimension – Heartland
"I'm gonna fight to save our city! It's the right thing to do! I'm going to join the Resistance!" Jonouchi saw himself watching Akari take a stand for her home against her ex-Charlie.
"Wait, Charlie! He's not a member of Academia, there's no need for this!" Jonouchi remembered seeing Akari placing herself in harms way to protect him.
"Come on, I'll take you to my house. It's Akari. Akari Tsukumo." Akari introduced herself with a cute smile.
"G-Grandma, you're embarrassing me…" Akari pouted which Jonouchi thought was cute.
"STAND UP, JONOUCHI!" Akari encouraged Jonouchi in his Duel with IV. "Jonouchi, you can't lose here! If your power is not enough, then use your friends' power!"
"There was no way I was gonna let you give up. That's why you should Kattobingu." Akari winked before giving Jonouchi a kiss.
Jonouchi vs Akari
"K-Kattobingu…" Jonouchi said, surprising Akari. "Kattobingu…Akari…" Jonouchi held his head in pain.
"Jonouchi…" Akari gritted her teeth and grunted as she got back on her feet. "Don't hesitate Jonouchi! This is a Duel! You can't hold back no matter the opponent! Give it everything you've got! Kattobingu, Jonouchi!"
Jonouchi looked at Akari. "I don't need you to tell me that! Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, attack Hope One! Darkness Giga Flame!" Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon unleashed its breath attack and Hope defended itself.
"Hope is a Number! You can't destroy Numbers in battle!" Akari shouted.
"I know that, that's why I'm activating this card! Quick-Play Magic: Red-Eyes Berserk! When Red-Eyes fails to destroy a monster in battle, my opponent takes 200 points of damage for every card they have on the field! You have three, and you're Life Points are 300! It's over!" Jonouchi shouted.
"Counter Trap: Shining Moon Barrier! This card negates one instance of Effect Damage!" Hope One created a barrier that protected Akari from the damage.
"I end my turn." Jonouchi finished his turn.
Akari LP: 300, Hand: 0
Jonouchi LP: 1380, Hand: 0
"I…I don't think I can go on…" Akari panted. "I've lost too much blood. This is my last turn."
"Kattobingu, Akari! Draw!" Akari drew her card with the last of her strength. "I activate the Rank-Up Magic – Final Kattobingu Force!" Akari played the card she drew. "This card allows me to Rank Up an Xyz Monster that is two Ranks higher! With Hope One, I reconstruct the Overlay Network!"
Hope One retracted itself and flew into the sky. "Warrior of hope, push through the endless challenges that come across you and achieve apex of Kattobingu! Rank-Up Xyz Change! Appear! Shining Chaos Number 39: King of Endless Challenges, Kattobingu Hope (ATK: 3000, RNK: 6, OVU: 4)!" Kattobingu Hope came out with gold and red armor with two long crimson blade swords.
Jonouchi covered his eyes as the light shining from Kattobingu Hope was getting too much for him. "Kattobingu Hope…"
"I activate Kattobingu Hope's effect! By using all of his Overlay Units, it can banish cards from your hand, deck or Graveyard equal to the number of Overlay Units Kattobingu Hope had!"
"What?!" Jonouchi gasped.
"You don't have anything in your hand, but I can banish four cards from your deck and Graveyard!" Akari shouted as four cards in Jonouchi's deck disappeared and the Red-Eyes monsters in Jonouchi's Graveyard disappeared too.
"Damn it…" Jonouchi cursed.
"Because you lost your dragons, Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon loses its Attack Points!" Akari pointed out as Red-Eyes got weaker.
Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (ATK: 3600→2400)
"Battle! Kattobingu Hope, attack Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon! Kattobingu Double Sword Slash!" Kattobingu Hope charged towards Red-Eyes and swung both its swords so hard that it cut the dragon into pieces and damaging Jonouchi.
Jonouchi LP: 1380→780
"At this point, I activate my Quick-Play Magic: Dimensional Typhoon! When my monster destroys an opponent's monster in battle, the opponent takes 100 points of damage times the Level of a banished monster! I choose Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" The spirit of Red-Eyes appeared next to Akari.
"Go! Red-Eyes!" Akari shouted as Red-Eyes charged towards Jonouchi and struck him, making him scream in pain.
Jonouchi LP: 780→80
"AKARI!" Jonouchi shouted and the image of Tania shattered and was replaced with Akari.
Amazon Colosseum
The Millennium Rod that Tania had cracked in her hands. "What?!" Tania gasped before the rod shattered into pieces. "Impossible?! How?! How did he break free, I erased his memories?! I stripped his will!"
Tania looked at the still downed Yuzu. "Whatever, I've won this Duel. You! Take this girl—"
Flowers, plants and vines erupted from the ground and through the thick rock of the colosseum and they started to trap the Amazons and Academia soldiers in place. "What?" Two vines then trapped Tania's ankles to the ground.
Yuzu's bracelet then released a bright pink light that blinded Tania everyone in the area. Yuzu then stood up from the ground and opened her eyes, only to reveal her eyes were white out and glowing pink like her bracelet.
Jonouchi vs Akari
Jonouchi was back to his normal self. "Akari, what happened? We were talking and I blacked out."
"It's okay, Jonouchi." Akari smiled. "I'm just glad your back to normal. Now you don't have to be a pawn to that stupid Amazon."
"Akari…I'm sorry. The cards you gave me, she tore them apart." Jonouchi apologized.
"Don't worry about it. I have more. But…I have to end this Duel. You still have a job to do." Akari said.
"What are you saying?" Jonouchi asked.
The card Rank-Up Magic – Final Kattobingu Force appeared on the field again. "At the end of the turn that I use Final Kattobingu Force, if the Xyz Monster that I have doesn't have any Overlay Units, it's destroyed and I take damage equal to its Attack Points."
"But you're Life Points!" Jonouchi saw how low they were.
"You have to move forward. For Yuya and all of your friends. I just want you to know one thing." Akari smiled as tears fell down her face. "I love you, Jonouchi."
"Akari…" Jonouchi started to tear up.
"I end my turn." Akari declared. Final Kattobingu then glowed and Kattobingu Hope was destroyed, creating a huge explosion that sent Akari flying into the ocean.
Akari LP: 300→0
Winner: Katsuya Jonouchi
"AKARI!" Jonouchi ripped off his Duel Disk and dove into the ocean. The tide started to take Akari and she started to sink into the depths.
Jonouchi swam faster before he finally got Akari. He then struggled to head back to the shore. "I won't let you go! I'm not letting you die! You can't die!"
Jonouchi then made it back to the shore and laid Akari on her back. He then noticed her wound in her stomach and she was pale as a ghost. "Akari…please…Akari…" Jonouchi put his ear on her chest, he didn't feel a heartbeat, nor was she even breathing.
"Akari…" Jonouchi shed tears and held Akari in his arms. "Damn it…Damn it all…" His tears hit Akari's lifeless face.
Academia – Cliffside
Atem grabbed the last piece from the puzzle and looked at the upside-down pyramid. "Please, let me do the right thing." Atem looked down where Jonouchi cradled Akari. "And give everyone hope, that is my wish."
Atem inserted the last piece of the puzzle and it glowed and Atem grunted as the power flowed within him and it spread throughout all of Academia.
Professor's Chamber
Multiple Error windows appeared all over Leo's throne. "What's going on?! Someone talk to me?"
"Sir, it's the cards that you made? They're all invalidated, our Duel Disks will no longer accept them!" A researcher answered.
"Sir, the ARC Reactor is losing its performance rate? The flow of energy has decreased by 95%." Another researcher responded.
"Run a diagnostic! Find the problem!" Leo ordered.
"Diagnostics running. Everything looks normal, sir!"
"Try again!"
"Still the same, we haven't changed anything."
"Let me get into it." Leo activated his Duel Disk when his Duel Disk gave an error. "You are not authorized to be a part of this system." Leo's Duel Disk spoke.
"What?! I created this whole system, who in the world was able to block me with my administrative rights?" Leo argued.
Eve watched from the side and shook her head in disappointment. "This is what happens when your rush like we did. Hm?" Eve saw the window with Yuzu and Tania.
"It can't be…" Eve's eyes widened.
Yuzu vs Tania

Field: Amazoness Augusta (ATK: 3200, LV: 10)
Note: Augusta's effects are negated.
Tania sweated as she saw Yuzu staring at her with nothing but hate and anger. "My turn!" Yuzu spoke in a terrifying tone and put her fingers on her deck. "Draw!" Yuzu drew her card and her bracelet shined brighter.
"I activate the Ritual Magic: Death Flower Ritual!" A black looking flower appeared on the field and opened up its petals to release a toxic aroma that made the other bystanders gag.
"This card allows me to Special Summon Melodious Flower Dragon from my Extra Deck and one monster from my Graveyard with their effects negated! Return! Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)! Bloom Diva (ATK: 1000, LV: 6)!" Yuzu's two monsters appeared on the petals.
"But you can't Ritual Summon?! You don't have the card in your hand!" Tania argued.
"By paying half of my Life Points, I'm able to Ritual Summon from my deck!" A dark card glowed in Yuzu's deck and she took it. "I release Melodious Flower Dragon and Bloom Diva!"
The petals then danced around Melodious Flower Dragon and Bloom Diva and turned them into flames, specifically ten.
"Dragon of the earth, take in the foul elements of this cursed world and restore it to the paradise of darkness! Ritual Summon! Appear! Dragon with the power to kill all that defies the planet! Level 10! Supreme Queen Berserk Dragon – Slaughter Flower Dragon (ATK: 3500, LV: 10, PS: 13)!" Yuzu summoned a black dragon that was a more sinister version of her first Ritual-Pendulum Monster, Melodious Gaea Dragon.
"What is this?! This wasn't in your data?!" Tania stepped back.
"You will suffer for what you have done! I activate Slaughter Flower Dragon's effect! Once per turn, I can destroy on monster on the opponent's field and they gain Life Points equal to the destroyed monster's Attack Points! Blood Blessing!" Slaughter Flower Dragon unleashed her vines and they trapped Augusta and squeezed her tighter and tighter before she was destroyed.
"Why destroy my monster with an effect when you could've battled it?" Tania questioned.
Tania LP: 100→3300
"That's showing mercy which you deserve none! When using this effect, Slaughter Flower Dragon's Attack Points are reduced in half!" Yuzu revealed.
Slaughter Flower Dragon (ATK: 3500→1750)
"And then, I'm able to draw cards and for every Monster Card that I draw, Slaughter Flower Dragon is able to attack!" Yuzu drew her card. "Opera the Melodious Diva! Slaughter Flower Dragon, attack that disgraceful Amazon! Venom Shot!" Slaughter Flower Dragon unleashed a poisonous breath attack that hit Tania and making her scream in a horrific pain as the attack burned her skin.
Tania LP: 3300→1550
"My second card! Petunia the Melodious Diva! Venom Shot!" Slaughter Flower Dragon attacked again, burning Tania again and sending her flying into the colosseum wall.
Tania LP: 1550→0
Winner: Yuzu Hiiragi
"Third! Lily the Melodious Diva! Venom Shot!" Yuzu attacked once more despite the Duel being over and Tania kept screaming.
"Fourth! Aria the Melodious Diva! Venom Shot!" Slaughter Flower Dragon attacked once more. Tania's skin and muscle started were burned that the bones were starting to show.
"Fifth! Melodious Maestra - Laureate François! Venom Shot!" Slaughter kept unleashing her attack.
"Sixth! Venom Shot! Seventh! Venom Shot!" Tania couldn't scream no more because she literally melted to death but kept drawing.
"Ei—" A hand caught her arm, making her stop drawing. She turned to see Eve looking at her.
"That's not what the power is meant to be used for." Eve scolded.
Yuzu glared at Eve with pure hate. "Do you think that Yuya Ryuga would like what you have become?" Even questioned.
Yuzu's expression instantly softly. "Yu…ya…" The glow in Yuzu's eyes disappeared and her bracelet receded its light. Slaughter Flower Dragon also disappeared.
Yuzu looked around at what she caused. The colosseum was mostly destroyed and all of the remaining ones left were hiding in fear.
Yuzu then felt exhausted and she fell forward passed out. "I can't have her corrupt the Eve Factor. In order for the United World to be perfectly made, both the Adam Factor and Eve Factor must be fused. The logical thing to do would be to take this girl into our custody. But knowing Leo…"
"Miss Eve…" A soldier hesitantly approached her. "Should we take Yuzu Hiiragi in custody?"
"The Professor is unstable, if we bring Yuzu Hiiragi to him, he'll throw all our hard work out the window. Just leave her be. She won't be a threat as long as we don't provoke her. Send a message to the remaining Seven Stars Members, do not invoke the wrath of Ruri Kurosaki, Rin Hogan and Serena Andersen, they could be just as powerful as what we saw with Yuzu Hiiragi, or worse." Eve ordered.
"Yes ma'am." The soldier bowed.
Eve then walked to where Tania once stood. "Foolish woman…hm?" She saw a piece of the destroyed Millennium Rod with the eye glowing. "For a Millennium Item to be destroyed like this, it can only be done by another."
Eve opened a window with her Duel Disk. "Sanders. I need to talk with those Ishtars that we've captured recently?"
"Why do you want to ask?" Sanders asked. "We already know who's in possession of the God Cards. Also, we gave the items that they possessed to the key members of Academia that could utilize their capability."
"That woman lied. She said there were six. But there's seventh one, here on this island." Eve answered.
"A seventh item? What is it? Who has it?" Sanders asked.
"Whoever has it, is our enemy now." Eve said. "What cell?"
"E-54." Sanders answered.
"I hope whoever has that item is prepared for the consequences." Eve walked away and so did the others, leaving Yuzu in the colosseum.
Academia – Beach
Jonouchi continued to cry as he held Akari in his arms. Suddenly, her body began to glow golden. "Huh?" Jonouchi was caught off guard.
The light was then focused on Akari's stomach where her wound was and it started to heal. The cut was gone and color started coming back into her face.
Akari then coughed and opened her eyes. "Ow…what happened?"
"Akari!" Jonouchi hugged Akari tightly.
"J-Jonouchi…you're hugging me too tight." Akari blushed.
"You're alive…you're alive! Thank goodness!" Jonouchi cried.
Akari felt her stomach and noticed it was fine. It was like she never got hit at all. "How did that happen?"
"God, or whoever did this. I'm forever indebted to you." Jonouchi thought as he and Akari continued to hold each other.
Above Atem watched with a smile. "You both deserve it." Atem looked at the completed Millennium Puzzle and wore it around his neck. He looked back at the castle and got determined.
"The best way I can set things right…is to save all the prisoners Academia took." Atem ran into the castle. "Father…I'm going to do the right thing! I'm gonna stop the ARC Area Project!"
Noah's Control Room
"Noah-sama, I will go and make my stand against Shingo Sawatari." Oka said.
"And I will wait for Reiji Akaba. Don't worry, we will get you that body." Ota promised.
"I appreciate your efforts. That being said, if you lose…Leo Akaba cannot be negotiated, so this is your only chance." Noah warned.
"Yes." Oka and Ota disappeared.
"Noah, are you sure about this?" Daimon asked.
"What other choice do we have? We either fight to get a chance to get the world we want, or we become tools for the Professor. At least with this, we have a little freedom." Noah answered.
"Right. I'll go prepare myself for the worst." Daimon left. "I advise you do the same."
"Noted." Noah nodded as he looked through his deck. "I will break free from this world. And I'll destroy Academia and built my own utopia."
Virtual World – Maiami City
"This is the Virtual World? It looks just like back home." Sawatari looked around before he stopped. "That's…"
Sawatari ran into the City Hall Building. "If I'm right about this. Then the mayor's office should be…here." Sawatari read the name on the door. Mayor Sawatari.
Sawatari opened the door, where he would usually see his father working on a lot of paperwork. "Papa…" He closed his eyes as he recalled the last time he spoke with his father.
Sawatari Residence – Before Leaving Standard
"I forbid it!" Mayor Sawatari shouted. "I do not want you to go with these Lancers in another dimension!"
"Papa, you saw the footage! If no one steps up—" Sawatari argued.
"I'll get them to step up! I'll have the grown ups do what they're supposed to do and I'll sue Leo Corporation and Reiji Akaba for putting my child in danger!" Mayor Sawatari threw a tantrum.
"Papa, I'm sorry but nothing you do can change what's happening. Look I'll be with friends and I'll definitely come back, you don't have to worry. I'm Super Hyper Strong Duelist, Shingo Sawatari!" Sawatari posed.
"Shingo…I'm not doubting you…" Mayor Sawatari got serious. "I know you're strong, I've seen it firsthand. It's just…ever since I lost your mother…" Mayor Sawatari choked up.
"Papa…" Sawatari knew that his mother was a sensitive subject around his father.
"I don't want to lose the one joy left in my life." Mayor Sawatari teared up.
"Papa, I will come back. I promise." Sawatari assured his father. "And then, you'll win the re-election and I'll be the best Duelist in Maiami."
Mayor Sawatari hugged his son and Sawatari hugged him back. "I'm proud of you and your mother would be too."
Virtual World – Mayor's Office
"Papa…I'll definitely come back." Sawatari thought.
"Ah, the office that holds the worse scumbags of all."
Sawatari turned around to see Oka grinning at him. "Let me guess, you're Big 5?" Sawatari glared.
"That's right. My name is Oka Chikuzen. Nice to meet you. And I'm a lawyer for Kaiba Corporation." Oka introduced himself.
"Huh? You call the mayor's office scumbags? But lawyers are the worst of the worst! Well, unless you work of the National Tax Agency, but we're not talking about them." Sawatari glared. "If you're my opponent, then let's Duel! I have a world to save!"
"Heh, are you sure you want to face me? I've won numerous cases." Oka questioned.
"I don't care. I'll take you down and then get back to defeating Academia!" Sawatari declared.
"Very well, then let's change the field." Okay said and the office began to change into a courtroom where Sawatari was at the stand and Oka was at the judges table and his appearance changed into a monster.
"Let us begin the Trial of the Judge Man vs Shingo Sawatari!" Oka declared.
"It's not Shingo Sawatari! It's Super Ultra Hyper Strong Duelist, Shingo Sawatari!" Sawatari glared as he prepared to face on Oka.
