Isolated Chamber

Yuya kept trying to smash the chain on his ankle but it still wouldn't break. "Damn it, why can't it break!" Yuya cursed. He then found it a little harder to breathe. "Oh no, no, no!" The bubble was starting to weaken.

"Forgive me, Master. We can't hold it for much longer." Black Magician Girl struggled to keep the spell up.

"Hey! Hurry up and win!" Serena shouted in desperation.

Asuka vs Satou

Satou LP: 1000, Hand: 2
Field: Scab Scar Knight (ATK: 0, LV: 4), Demand Man (ATK: 800, LV: 3), 1 set card.

Asuka LP: 1500, Hand: 0
Field: Cyber Fallen Angel Baraquiel (ATK: 2400, LV: 6), Continuous Trap: Fallen Armored Wing, 1 set card.

"To think I had hope for you." Satou looked at Asuka. "If someone doesn't realize the true threat in front of them, then they are just as guilty for the world's destruction! My turn! Draw!" Satou drew his card.

"I activate the Magic Card: Fusion!" Satou showed the Fusion card. "I fuse the Scab Scar Knight and Demand Man on my field!"

"Knight that has endured ruthless battles, become one with warrior who commands and become a warrior that can slay a thousand men! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 6! Legendary Warrior – Scar Knight (ATK: 0, LV: 6)!" Appearing was a warrior with a large shield on his left arm and a very sharp sword on the other arm with battle torn armor and cuts all over his body.

"Next, I activate two Equip Magics from my hand! Blade of Truth! Shield of Wisdom!" Scar Knight got two new weapons.

"Battle! Scar Knight, attack Cyber Fallen Angel Baraquiel!" Scar Knight charged with his sword.

"Counter, Baraquiel, Holy Lightning!" Asuka ordered and Baraquiel countered. Scar Knight raised his sword and it absorbed the lightning. "What?!"

"When Scar Knight battles, it's not destroyed in battle and once per turn, battle damage is nullified, next after the battle, Scar Knight gains the Attack Points of the monster it battled!" Satou revealed as Scar Knight gained power.

Scar Knight (ATK: 0→2400)

"Then, the Equip Magic: Blade of Truth's effect activates! By reducing Scar Knight's Attack Points in half, it's allowed to launch a second attack and it can attack the player directly!" Satou revealed.

"What?!" Asuka gasped.

Scar Knight (ATK: 2400→1200)

"To defeat an army of soldiers, the best way is to lower their morale by striking their commander! Go! Scar Knight! Direct Attack Asuka!" Scar Knight charged towards Asuka.

"Continuous Trap: Spirit Barrier! While I control a monster, I take no battle damage!" Asuka revealed her set card and a barrier formed around her.

"Useless! The Equip Magic: Shield of Wisdom's effect activates! When the opponent activates a Magic or Trap Card when Scar Knight attacks, its activation is negated and the card is destroyed!" Scar Knight smashed his shield on the barrier, shattering it before cutting Asuka with his sword, making her scream in pain.

Asuka LP: 1500→300

Isolated Chamber

The water increased as Asuka loss more Life Points, causing Serena and Atem to get closer to the ceiling. "Not good!" Atem grunted.

"Forgive me…" Black Magician and Black Magician Girl ran out of magic and disappeared.

"No!" Serena cried.

The air bubble around Yuya started to disappear. Yuya inhaled deeply and held his breath just as the bubble disappeared. He kept trying to break free, but now that more water filled up the chamber and he was at the bottom, it took more of his strength away.

Yuya felt his strength leaving him and his vision was going dark. He couldn't hold his breath anymore. He let out a gasp and he remained still.

Asuka vs Satou

Satou smiled as Yuya was shown to have drowned. "With this, the mission is completed." Satou declared as he snapped his fingers to shut off the screen.

Asuka stood still looking where the screen was with lifeless eyes. Yuya's words then echoed in her head.

"I look around at us and you know what I see? Potential. We all have the ability to become greater, but we're letting this war get the better of us."

"I know we have all lost something cause of this war. Our schools. Our homes. Our families. Normal lives."

"Right here…right now…we have a chance. A chance to create a better future for all the dimensions!"

"Please lend me your strength!"

"I don't want to lose any more friends."

"Thank you…Big Sister Asuka…"

Asuka let out a cry and dark aura not only covered her entire body, but it went out of control. It started smashing the tubes containing the Parasite Fusioners, breaking machinery, damaging the ceiling, walls, doors and floors and shaking the entire room.

"Wh-What is this?" Satou shielded himself.

Isolated Chamber

A large bubble came up to the service, alarming Serena and Atem. "No…no! No!" Serena took a deep breath and dived down.

"Serena!" Atem called out.

Serena swam down to the bottom as fast as she could to get to Yuya. "I'm not letting you die! I won't let you die!"

Atem banged on the ceiling. "Damn it! Is there nothing I can do!" As soon as he said that, his Millennium Puzzle glowed, which caught his attention.

Serena finally reached Yuya and reached out to him. She held his face in her hands. "Yuya…" Serena leaned in and put her lips on Yuya's, but she wasn't kissing him. She was breathing out the air that she took in before diving in.

Atem held the puzzle close to him. "I know you only grant one wish to whoever solves you, but please accept my prayer! Help me save my precious friends!" Atem's Millennium Puzzle shined brighter with the light enveloping him, along with Yuya and Serena below.

Asuka vs Satou

When the dark aura settled, Satou's eyes widened as he saw Asuka had changed. Asuka now had black combat boots and armor on her legs that went up to her thighs, a short black battle skirt, black armor that exposed her midriff, a black and blue cape flowing behind her and a blue crown on top of her head.

"Her appearance changed…" Satou thought. "I end my turn." Satou finished his turn. "The Equip Magic: Blade of Truth's effect also ends!"

Scar Knight (ATK: 1200→2400)

Satou LP: 1000, Hand: 0
Asuka LP: 300, Hand: 0

"It's over, I take no damage from Scar Knight, and it gets stronger if you summon another monster. Scar Knight has fought countless battles and even faced an army by himself. And even if he gets knocked down, he'll stand up again." Satou said.

"Good…" Asuka said darkly.

"What?" Satou questioned.

"I want him to keep standing…because I want to beat him until he begs for death!" Asuka growled. "My turn! Draw!" Asuka drew her card.

"I activate the other effect of the Continuous Trap: Fallen Armored Wing! By sending this card to the Graveyard, I'm able to add a Cyber Fallen Angel Ritual Magic from my Graveyard to my hand!" Asuka got back Machine Fallen Angel Ritual.

"Next, I Normal Summon Cyber Petit Fallen Angel (ATK: 300, LV: 2)!" A small and black version of Cyber Petit Angel appeared. "When this monster is summoned, I can add a Cyber Fallen Angel monster from my deck to my hand!"

"Another Cyber Fallen Angel?!" Satou exclaimed.

"My cute little brother…my cute Yuya…" Asuka roared in anger. "I activate Machine Fallen Angel Ritual! I release Cyber Fallen Angel Baraquiel and Cyber Petit Fallen Angel!" The two Fallen Angels went on the altar and turned into eight black flames.

"Angel that has fallen with extraordinary power! Bring law and order with your commanding form! Ritual Summon! Descend! Level 8! Leader of the Fallen Angels! Cyber Fallen Angel Azazel (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" Appearing was a muscular male fallen angel.

"Cyber Fallen Angel Azazel's effect activates! When it's Ritual Summoned using a Cyber Fallen Angel Ritual Monster as material, it can destroy all cards on the field!" Asuka shouted.

"What?!" Satou gasped.

Azazel opened his 12 black feathered wings and flapped them, creating a strong gust of wind.

"I activate Shield of Wisdom's other effect! By sending this card to the Graveyard, the equipped monster can't be destroyed by card effects this turn!" Scar Knight was protected but it lost its sword.

"Battle! Azazel, attack Scar Knight!" Azazel summoned lightning arrows and fired them at Scar Knight.

"Scar Knight's effect! It can't be destroyed in battle and once per turn, battle damage is negated! Also, it gains the Attack Points of the monster it battled!" Scar Knight endured the attack and got stronger.

Scar Knight (ATK: 2400→5200)

"A worthless effort." Satou said.

"Azazel's Monster Effect activates!" Asuka shouted, catching Satou off guard. "If there's a monster that has more Attack Points than him on the field, Azazel's Attack Points become the same as that monster plus 100 and is allowed to attack again!"

Azazel (ATK: 2800→5300)

"Azazel, attack Scar Knight!" This time Azazel produced a rod of light in his hand and he attacked Scar Knight in close combat.

"Scar Knight isn't destroyed…" Satou grunted.

"But you can only negate Battle Damage once per turn!" Asuka shouted and Satou grunted as he took damage.

Satou LP: 1000→900

"And then. Scar Knight's Attack Points increase by the Attack Points of the monster it battled!" Asuka continued.

Scar Knight (ATK: 5200→10,500)

"At this moment, Azazel's effect activates again! If there is a monster on the field with more Attack Points than him, his Attack Points become the same as that monster plus 100 and is allowed to attack again!" Asuka shouted.

Azazel (ATK: 5300→10,600)

"Azazel, attack Scar Knight again!" Asuka ordered and Azazel struck Scar Knight again and Satou grunted.

Satou LP: 900→800

"And now you're Scar Knight's effect activates again!" Asuka roared.

Scar Knight (ATK: 10,500→21,100)

"I activate Azazel's effect once more!" Asuka bellowed.

Azazel (ATK: 10,600→21,200)

"Th-This is…an infinite loop!" Satou exclaimed.

"It hurts, doesn't it? It's painful, right? But that's nothing compared to what you bastards keeping doing to my cute Yuya." Asuka said. "After you, I will burn the Doctor and his parasites into ashes! And finally, I'll behead Leo Akaba! But that won't satisfy me! It won't bring back my cute Yuya! Azazel, attack!" Azazel struck Scar Knight again and hurting Satou.

"Attack him again!" Asuka ordered as the loop continued.

Satou LP: 700→600

"Crush him!"

Satou LP: 600→500

"No mercy!" Asuka shouted.

Satou LP: 500→400

"Beat him! Beat him! Beat him!" Asuka repeated.

Satou LP: 400→300→200→100

Satou was on his knees, coughing blood while Scar Knight had more scars, a broken shield, a hilt with no blade.

"So…this is what you fight for?" Satou weakly looked up.

"Now die! Azazel!" Asuka shouted and Azazel unleashed a barrage of light arrows that finally destroyed Scar Knight and sent Satou crashing through the wall and into the ocean below.

Satou LP: 100→0

"I won…Serena and that other person should be okay, but…" Asuka's armor disappeared and she was back in her regular clothes.

A bright light then shined in front of her, making her shield her eyes. Appearing in front of her was a tall and muscular man wearing an Egyptian garment and cloak. He also had a mask concealing his face. In his arms were Atem, Serena and Yuya.

Asuka gasped and ran to them as the man laid them on the floor. Asuka checked Atem and Serena and found that both of them had pulses and were breathing. She then looked at Yuya, she was afraid if what she saw was true.

"Don't worry, all three of them are okay." The man spoke.

"Really?!" Asuka looked at the man and nodded. Asuka then laid her head on top of Yuya's chest and she could feel his heart beat. "He's okay…" Asuka's eyes changed back to normal and she finally calmed down.

Atem opened his eyes weakly. "This is…" Atem sat up and the Egyptian man knelt in front of him. "Who are you?"

"My name is Hasan." Hasan introduced himself. "My prince, the Dark Games are about to be revived."

"The Dark Games?" Atem asked.

"Should these Dark Games revive, the gate which separates this Human World from the world of Duel Monsters will shatter and the monsters. The Monsters will attempt to take this land and only you can stop them and their leader, Zorc." Hasan revealed.

"Zorc?" Atem questioned.

"You can only summon me two more times, after that, you are on your own. But never forget, your father, King Akhenamkhanen, is always watching over you." Hasan disappeared.

"Wait, Hasan!" Atem called out. "The Dark Games…"

"U-Urgh…" Yuya opened his eyes.

"Yuya!" Asuka smiled as Yuya woke up.

"I…" Yuya tried to recall what happened. He looked down on his ankle and he noticed he wasn't trapped. "I'm free?"

A soft moan was heard and Pharaoh meowed as Serena woke up. "Hey, Pharaoh." Serena sat up.

"Serena, are you okay?" Yuya asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Yuya." Serena rubbed her eyes before she realized that Yuya was okay. "Yuya! You're okay!" Serena launched herself on Yuya and hugged him tightly. "I was so worried."

"I remember…I drowned, but I'm still here." Yuya said.

"Serena and Atem saved you." Asuka explained. "I'm sorry, it was my Duel that caused the water to flow."

"It wasn't your fault; you don't have to apologize." Yuya answered. "By the way, what's this place?"

"This is the Doctor's laboratory, where he used his Parasite Fusioners to take control of other Duelists." Asuka explained. "As long as he's still here, no one is safe."

"Then we should take him out. With the four of us…" Yuya was interrupted when a screen appeared before the group.

"A Duel." Atem noticed.

"Wait, what?" Yuya couldn't believe who was Dueling. "Ruri…Rin…"

Ruri vs Rin

Rin LP: 2200, Hand: 1
Field: Supreme Queen Dragon – Shinatsuhiko (ATK: 5500, LV: 12), 1 set card.

Ruri LP: 1800, Hand: 0
Field: Supreme Princess Yellow Dragon – Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon (ATK: 4000, RNK: 12, OVU: 4), Lyrical Luscinia – Amethyst Falcon (ATK: 1200, LV: 4), Continuous Magic: Lyrical Luscinia Nest, 2 set cards.

"I activate Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon's effect! Once per turn, I can banish all cards in the opponent's Graveyard!" Ruri revealed.

"What?!" Rin gasped as Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon let out cry and all of Rin's cards in her Graveyard disappeared.

"And with no monsters in your Graveyard, Shinatsuhiko loses its Attack Points!" Ruri revealed as Shinatsuhiko's power went back to normal.

Shinatsuhiko (ATK: 5500→3500)

"Battle! Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon, attack Shinatsuhiko! Pride Roar!" Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon let out a powerful roar that contained the voices of all animals and it destroyed Shinatsuhiko.

Rin LP: 2200→1700

"Damn it…my Shinatsuhiko." Rin cursed.

"At this moment, Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon's other effect activates!" Ruri shouted, alarming Rin. "When she destroys a monster in battle, by using one Overlay Unit, that monster is banished!"

Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon (OVU: 4→3)

Rin's Shinatsuhiko was banished. "Damn it…" Rin cursed.

"I still have one more monster, Rin! Go! Amethyst Falcon! Direct Attack Rin!" Amethyst Falcon charged and she knocked Rin off her feet by scratching her.

Rin LP: 1700→500

"I end my turn!" Ruri finished her turn.

"Alright, now Ruri has control of the Duel!" Shun smiled.

"And she banished Rin's strongest monster. Way to go, Ruri!" Rio cheered.

Rin sat up and glared at Ruri. "You bitch…"

"That's enough, Rin…no Cyclone Dragon!" Ruri shouted. "If Lyrical Eagle Dragon can see the good in humans, then you can too! Now release Rin!"

"Release Rin?" Shun was confused.

"What do you mean?" Rio asked.

"Just like I was controlled by Lyrical Eagle Dragon, Rin's dragon has taken control of her." Ruri explained. "They want to eradicate humanity by uniting their powers."

"So, that's why she attacked me." Shun realized.

"The good in humans…don't make me barf!" Rin growled. "Even if you have defeated Shinatsuhiko, I still have another evolved form!"

"My turn! Draw!" Rin drew her card. "I activate Pot of Greed! I draw two cards!" Rin drew two more cards. "Next, I activate my set card! Quick-Play Magic: Pot of Acquisitiveness! This card lets me shuffled 3 banished monsters to my deck, shuffle and draw one card!" Rin returned Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon, Ice Bell and Glass Bell and drew one more card.

"I activate the Magic Card: Fake Synchro! This card lets me Special Summon a Synchro Monster from my Extra Deck, but it is not allowed to attack and it's banished during the End Phase of this turn! Come, my true form!" Rin brought back Cyclone Dragon.

Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7)

"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Synchro Hurricane! When I have Cyclone Dragon on the field, I can destroy all of my opponent's set cards!" Ruri's set cards were destroyed.

"Oh no!" Rio got worried.

"It's okay, knowing Ruri, those cards can still help her even if they were destroyed." Shun said, but deep down, he was getting worried.

"Next, I can use this card as a Level 5 Tuner Monster! Let me show you the monster that will seal your fate!" Rin smirked, making Ruri grit her teeth. "I'm Tuning my Level 7 Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon with my Level 5 Synchro Hurricane!" Synchro Hurricane turned into five green rings and Cyclone flew through them and became seven stars.

"Winds that bring destruction and chaos! Rip apart the homes of disgusting humans and bring death to all! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 12! Supreme Queen Hurricane Dragon – Typhon Death Dragon (ATK: 4000, LV: 12)!" Rin summoned the evil version of her dragon.

"Typhon Death Dragon's Attack Points are multiplied by the number of monsters on my opponent's field! And with two, it's Attack Points are doubled!"

Typhon Death Dragon (ATK: 4000→8000)

"I'm sure that your Supreme Princess has an effect when it is target for an attack, but lucky for me, you have another target on your field. Battle! Typhon Death Dragon, attack Amethyst Falcon! Death Hurricane!" Typhon Death Dragon created a powerful hurricane that threatened to blow everybody off the island.

"Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon's third effect! By using two of its Overlay Units, one Lyrical Luscinia monster on my field gains Rhiannon Dragon's Attack Points!" Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon consumed two Overlay Units and transferred its power to Amethyst Falcon.

Amethyst Falcon (ATK: 1200→5200)

"That won't save you destroy that pathetic Luscinia!" Rin shouted as the hurricane engulfed Amethyst Falcon. "From my Graveyard, I activate the Trap Card: Fallen Feathers! When a Lyrical Luscinia monster on my field is destroyed in battle, by banishing this card from the Graveyard, I can reduce the Battle Damage in half!" Ruri skid backwards but kept her footing.

Ruri LP: 1800→400

"Tch…you're really annoying!" Rin growled. "With only one monster on your field, Typhon Death Dragon's Attack Points return to normal."

Typhon Death Dragon (ATK: 8000→4000)

"I set two cards and end my turn!" Rin finished her turn.

Rin LP: 500, Hand: 0
Ruri LP: 400, Hand: 0

"Rin…I know you're in there." Ruri said.

"You can forget it; I locked that girl away in the very depths of her mind. No way is she getting out." Rin said.

"Even with low Life Points, Cyclone still has a strong hold on her. I guess the only way to get through to Rin is if I win." Ruri looked at her dragon.

"You can do it, Ruri. I know that together we can get through them." Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon declared.

"You're right. We can." Ruri looked at her deck. "Please, my deck. Help me save my friend."

"My turn! Draw!" Ruri drew her card. "Battle! Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon, attack Typhon Death Dragon!"

"What?! You're attacking even though they have the same Attack Points!" Rin exclaimed.

"Pride Roar!" Ruri shouted and Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon unleashed the biggest roar she could.

"I don't know what you're thinking but I won't lose! I activate my Trap Card: Winter Tornado! This card prevents my Wind Attribute Monster from being destroyed in this battle!" A tornado protected Typhon Death Dragon before Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon destroyed herself.

"At this moment, Lyrical Rhiannon Dragon's final effect activates! When she is destroyed while she has at least one Overlay Unit, I can Special Summon Lyrical Eagle Dragon from my Graveyard and attach Rhiannon Dragon as an Overlay Unit! Return! Lyrical Eagle Dragon (ATK: 2500, RNK: 4, OVU: 1)!" Rin summoned back her original dragon.

"Next from my hand, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Lyrical Critical Strike! This card allows me to use a Lyrical Xyz Monster's effect during the Battle Phase! I activate Lyrical Eagle Dragon's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, when it battles a Level 5 or higher monster, Lyrical Eagle Dragon gains the total Attack Points of the monster it battles!" Lyrical Eagle Dragon consumed its Overlay Unit and gained Typhon Death Dragon's Attack Points.

Lyrical Eagle Dragon (OVU: 1→0)

"If Lyrical Eagle Dragon attacks, its Attack Points will rise to 6500!" Rio smiled.

"And Rin only has 500 Life Points left. It's Ruri's complete victory!" Shun smiled.

"Go! Lyrical Eagle Dragon, attack Typhon Death Dragon! Let our feelings get through to them! Golden Sky Drill!" Lyrical Eagle Dragon flew into the air and started to spin like a drill releasing a golden light as it gained power.

Lyrical Eagle Dragon (ATK: 2500→6500)

"Grr…" Rin growled. "I activate my Continuous Trap: Life Force! I pay 400 Life Points to negate Battle Damage!" Lyrical Eagle Dragon destroyed Typhon Death Dragon and Rin screamed as she paid the price for Life Force.

Rin LP: 500→100

"When Typhon Death Dragon is destroyed, I can Special Summon one of its Synchro Materials from the Graveyard! Revive! Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7)!" Rin brought back Cyclone. "But at the End Phase of my next turn, all monsters on my field are destroyed and I take their Attack Points as damage."

"I end my turn." Ruri finished her turn. "At this moment, Lyrical Eagle Dragon's effect ends, and her Attack Points return to normal."

Lyrical Eagle Dragon (ATK: 6500→2500)

Ruri LP: 400, Hand: 0

"Damn it, she was so close!" Shun cursed.

"But this is Rin's last turn, even if she does find a way to negate the damage, her monsters will still be destroyed, which means Ruri can win with a direct attack." Rio observed the situation.

"I also have the Trap Card that was destroyed earlier, Blessing Feathers, if I'm inflicted with effect damage, this card can turn that into replenishing my Life Points." Ruri thought.

"My turn! Draw!" Rin drew her card. She then smiled and started laughing. "This Duel is over! I just drew the card that will seal my victory!"

"What are you talking about?" Ruri asked.

"I'll use my effect to defeat your and Lyrical Eagle." Rin revealed.

"That's impossible!" Lyrical Eagle spoke. "Our powers only work on Level 5 or higher monsters, even if you change my Rank into a Level, I will still be a Level 4!"

"You underestimate the power of the Supreme Queen! From my hand, I activate the Magic Card: Cursed Wind! This card allows me to equip a monster on the field with a monster in my Graveyard! I equip Death Typhon Dragon onto Lyrical Eagle Dragon!"

"What?!" Ruri gasped.

"She's equipped her monster onto Ruri's?" Shun was confused.

Typhon Death Dragon appeared on Ruri's field before turning into dark wind and surrounding Lyrical Eagle Dragon. "Cyclone what are you doing?" Lyrical Eagle asked.

"As long as you are equipped with Typhon Death Dragon, you will have all of his characteristics. His Attack Points." Lyrical Eagle felt herself get stronger.

Lyrical Eagle Dragon (ATK: 2500→4000)

"His Defense Points."

Lyrical Eagle Dragon (DEF: 2000→3500)

"And…his Level!" Rin revealed, shocking both Ruri and Lyrical Eagle.

Lyrical Eagle Dragon (RNK: 4→LV: 12)

"Now I activate my effect! Once per turn, I can negate a Level 5 or higher monster's effect on the field! And when I attack, I gain that monster's Attack Points and deal piercing damage! Four Seasons Tornado!" The four tornadoes sprouted around Lyrical Eagle, preventing her from escaping.

"She just repeated almost the same move Ruri did…" Rio couldn't believe it.

"I'm not standing by here!" Shun ran forward. "I'm joining this Duel!" Shun didn't care if it was cowardly, his sister was more important than his pride as a Duelist. He was about to activate his Duel Disk.

"You will not interfere!" Rin unleashed a green aura that trapped Shun in place and started choking him.

"Shun!" Rio went to go help but another green aura trapped her and she started to get choked.

"Brother! Rio!" Ruri cried out.

"Don't worry, I'll let them go." Rin said. "After you accept your punishment for defying the Supreme Queen."

"Rin…please…" Ruri begged, hoping that Rin would take back control.

"Cyclone…don't do this…" Lyrical Eagle begged. "It's not too late."

"I'm done listening to you! Battle! Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon, attack Lyrical Eagle Dragon! Typhoon Boom Dive!" Cyclone Dragon charged in and thanks to its effect, he gained Lyrical Eagle Dragon's current Attack Points.

Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500→6500)

Cyclone Dragon struck Lyrical Eagle Dragon hard, his claw piercing right through her chest. Cyclone Dragon then ripped Lyrical Eagle Dragon's heart right out of her chest. "Your power…is mine." Cyclone Dragon ate Lyrical Eagle Dragon's heart. A sight which scared Shun and Rio.

"Brother…" Lyrical Eagle Dragon weakly spoke. She then weakly looked at her owner who had a horrified expression "Ruri…" Lyrical Eagle Dragon fell to the ground and her card on Ruri's Duel Disk was destroyed.

"Lyrical Eagle!" Ruri ran towards her dragon.

"You've lost." Rin appeared in front of Ruri and grabbed her by the neck and slammed her into the ground.

Ruri LP: 400→0

Winner: Rin Hogan

"Ruri!" Shun shouted as his sister was attacked. "Damn it! Let me go!" Shun struggled to free himself.

"The power of the nature dragons…" Rio tried freezing the aura but it wouldn't. "…it's beyond anything I can do."

"R-Rin…please…" Ruri begged. "Crow…Rua…Yuya…"

"Humanity may be able to evolve, but nature is immortal. You never had a chance against me." Rin said as she took of Ruri's bracelet. "We can't let the dimensions separate again." Rin shattered Ruri's bracelet.

"And I can't have you trying to turn against me." Rin put her knee on Ruri's stomach and moved her hand from her neck to her head.

"Wh-What are you going to do?" Ruri asked.

"Even without a body, your spirit can oppose use, that's why I will erase your memories." Rin said.

"Wh-What?!" Ruri was horrified.

"Erase Ruri's memories?" Rio was shocked.

"No! Don't!" Shun begged. "Don't hurt my sister!"

"She was never your sister." Rin said.

"Wh-what?" Shun froze.

"If she really was your sister, tell me when is her birthday?" Rin asked.

"That's obvious her birthday is…" Shun caught his tongue. "Her birthday…" What was going on. He was the older brother; he was supposed to know his little sister's birthday. So why couldn't he remember.

"What hospital was she born in?" Rin asked another questioned.

She was born in…" Shun couldn't answer that either. But that was crazy, he would be there for the birth of his sister, but he has no memory. In fact, his first memory of her was…

"She was never meant to exist, neither of us." Rin said. "We are…monsters. And we will purify the dimensions." Rin unleashed her powers and Ruri felt her memories disappeared.

Her days at the Heartland Spade Branch, her days with her brother, Sayaka, Allen, Kaito, meeting the You Show Duel School, gaining a card from Michio, her Duel against Amelda and Mai, her arguments with Serena but eventually making up with her, the Duel against Team Taiyo to get over her fear of Fusion, teaming up with Shun against the fake Hell Kaiser, saving Heartland from Academia, spending her time at the Heartland Duel Carnival with Yuya.

"Y-Yuya…" Ruri uttered. "I…love…" Ruri's eyes became lifeless and Rin removed her hand. "Now, we become one!" Ruri's body glowed and then shattered into yellow lights.

"Ruri!" Shun and Rio shouted as the yellow light went into Rin's body. Lyrical Eagle Dragon's corpse also glowed a yellow light and went into Cyclone Dragon's card turning it into a Synchro-Xyz Monster.

"Now I control both the Wind and the Birds, no the entire animal kingdom." Rin smiled at the new card. Lyrical Cyclone Dragon. "Oh, that's right." Rin snapped her fingers and the green aura let Shun and Rio go. "I'll play with you some other time." Rin walked away.

"Wait!" Rio shouted. "Why?! Aren't you dragon's family?! Why did you kill her?!"

"I told you…we are monsters." Rin looked back before continuing to walk away.

"Ruri…" Rio turned to Shun who knelt at the spot where Ruri was. Tears fell down his face and he screamed in frustration. "RURI!"

Parasite Laboratory

The screen that had shown the Duel had disappeared, leaving a shocked Yuya, Serena, Atem and Asuka.

"I can't believe…" Serena couldn't believe the Nature Dragons would do that to each other.

"Cyclone…how could you?" Moonlight Dancer Dragon appeared in spirit form and mourned the death of her sister.

"This is your fault!" Dark Rebellion appeared in spirit form and grabbed Moonlight Dancer Dragon. Starve Venom, Clear Wing and Odd-Eyes appeared as well.

"It's not her fault, Dark Rebellion!" Starve Venom pulled Dark Rebellion off Dancer Dragon.

"Then it's yours!" Dark Rebellion charged at Clear Wing and knocking her back.

"How is it my fault?!" Clear Wing fought back.

"Stop it!" Odd-Eyes shouted but Dark Rebellion kept lashing out.

"How did everything get so messed up? We were supposed to protect the world! But why, why are they doing this?" Dark Rebellion growled.

"It's our nature, Dark Rebellion. We represent the elements of nature." Moonlight Dancer Dragon explained. "When our element is harmed, we want to protect it. But humanity has continued to destroy nature, the ones most affected are Cyclone and Flower. I tried to talk them out of it."

"You should've tried harder!" Dark Rebellion roared.

"Brother, stop."Odd-Eyes said."Look, your cards were destroyed but you all came back, so that means Lyrical Eagle can also come back. We can't give up hope."

"Odd-Eyes stop it." Starve Venom said.

"What?" Odd-Eyes was confused.

"Stop giving false hope." Clear Wing verified.

"But we have proof, you guys are the proof, Lyrical Eagle can come back." Odd-Eyes kept speaking.

"But what about Ruri?" Yuya thought, joining in on their conversation. "I haven't come across an answer where Yuto, Yugo and Yuri can come back. And even if I did find a way, Ruri's memories are gone. She won't know who we are, or even who she is."

"Yuya…" Serena was concerned for him, but even she doubted whether or not Ruri could come back.

"Yuya…I'm sorry, I should've realized that we're not the only ones affected by what happened." Odd-Eyes apologized as the dragons disappeared.

"I guess…there's no way to really bring them back…" Yuya muttered.

Atem looked at Yuya before looking down at his puzzle. "I'm sorry, Yuya. Nature can't be contained."

"Contained…" Yuya perked. "Atem, say that again?"

"Nature can't be contained." Atem repeated.

"That's it!" Yuya excitingly grabbed Atem's shoulders. "Atem, you've given me hope!"

"Huh?" Atem was confused and so were Serena and Asuka.

"What are you talking about?" Serena asked.

"The Nature Dragons represent nature, but they aren't nature itself! They were created by humans!" Yuya explained. "My mom showed me a memory of Mr. Kaiba containing the elements of nature and creating those Nature Dragon cards."

"And since he created them…" Serena said.

"He would know how to stop them…" Asuka said.

"He said it himself. Technology doesn't have limits unless your Seto Kaiba." Yuya mimicked. "He could probably find a way to bring Ruri back with all her memories too!"

"He sounds kind of egotistical." Atem sweat dropped.

"I got to get to Mr. Kaiba!" Yuya was gonna run until multiple Parasite Fusioners surrounded him, Atem, Serena and Asuka.

"I'm afraid, you all won't be going anywhere." The Doctor reappeared.
