Chapter 19: Clash of the Earth and Sky

Academia – Hallway (Before the Destruction)

Yuzu was walking the hallways alone. "I can feel it…Moonlight Dancer is close. She must've gone through a lot of tough battles; I hope that now she realizes what we have to do."

"Flower!" Yuzu stopped and turned to see Rin running toward her.

"Cyclone." Yuzu said. "I was getting worried about you. I sensed you vanished for a long time."

"Some bastard from the future took me to his time, after he defeated me with his cheap monsters, I found myself in a prison. Fools thought that they could cage me." Rin answered.

"The future?" Yuzu asked. "What was it like?"

"It was beautiful, Flower. Humanity is gone and even though the ruins of the cities still stand, nature is taking it down! We're doing the right thing!" Rin smiled.

"I see…all the more reason we need to persuade Eagle and Dancer. I'm actually on my way to convince Dancer." Yuzu said.

"I already talked with Eagle." Rin answered. "The human had corrupted her, so I had to take her power by force."

"Wait, what did you say?" Yuzu got surprised.

"It was the only way…her human had corrupted her to protect humanity. I did what had to be done." Rin showed the new card to Yuzu. "Maybe this will be enough to convince Dancer—"

Rin couldn't complete her sentence as Yuzu smacked her with her paper fan hard. "She was our sister! How could you?!"

"She wouldn't listen to reason. I had no choice! In order for our plan to work, we need all four powers together! If that means killing each other off then so be it!" Rin argued.

"You're out of control…though I should've expected since you represent wind. You leave me no choice, Cyclone!" Yuzu activated her Duel Disk.

"Wh-What are you doing?!" Rin was surprised at Yuzu being aggressive.

"I have to reverse the damage you have done! I will revive Eagle and then, I will erase your memories and turn you into my puppet!" Yuzu declared.

"What?! Revive Eagle? You can do that?" Rin asked.

"I represent the flowers, and flowers are always reborn from the seeds of the dead! And I will erase your memories and make you loyal to me!" Yuzu explained.

"You can't take my free will! It's my life!" Rin activated her Duel Disk. "Fine then, I'll do the plan myself, I'll kill you and take your power and then I'll take Dancer's power."

"Your plan has a flaw…me!" Yuzu glared at Rin.

"Duel!" Yuzu and Rin declared.

"I'm going first! Draw!" Rin drew her card. "I activate the Continuous Magic: Witch's Poison! Whenever I Special Summon a Wind Witch monster, this card deals 200 points of damage to the opponent!"

"Next, I activate the Magic Card: chime of the Bell Announcing Wind! This card let me Special Summon a Wind Witch monster from my deck that has the same name as one in my hand! The monster I choose is Wind Witch – Ice Bell (ATK: 1000, LV: 3)!" Ice Bell appeared on the field.

"Because I Special Summoned a Wind Witch monster, you take 200 points of damage, also, with Ice Bell's effect, you take another 500 points of damage!" A sharp gust of wind hit Yuzu.

Yuzu LP: 4000→3300

"Next, I Normal Summon the Wind Witch – Ice Bell (ATK: 1000, LV: 3) that was in my hand!" Rin summoned another Ice Bell. "And now take its effect again!" Yuzu was hit by wind again.

Yuzu LP: 3300→2800

"When I control two or more Wind Witches on my field, I can Special Summon the Tuner Monster, Wind Witch – Snow Bell (ATK: 100, LV: 1)!" Rin summoned the small bell with white wings. "Witch's Poison's effect!" Yuzu was hit again with damage.

Yuzu LP: 2800→2600

"I'm Tuning my two Level 3 Ice Bells with my Level 1 Snow Bell!" Snow Bell turned into a single green ring as the two Ice Bells flew through them and became six stars.

"Dragon that represents the wind and birds! Appear before us now and strike down all of humanity! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 7! Lyrical Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7) Rin summoned her new Cyclone Dragon.

"I set one card and end my turn!" Rin finished her turn. "I'm not going down that easy! I will see our plan through till the end!"

Rin LP: 4000, Hand: 1
Yuzu LP: 2600, Hand: 5

"So, this is the power you were talking about. My turn! Draw!" Yuzu drew her card. "Using the Scale 2 Coral the Melodious Diva and the Scale 8 Melodious Baby Flower Dragon, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu set her scale and her diva and baby version of Flower Dragon appeared.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 3 to 7! Power blessed to me by the Supreme Queen! Respond to my heart to purify this land! Pendulum Summon! Appear! Beautiful creature with the power to bring life to the earth! Level 7! Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Yuzu brought out Flower Dragon.

Both Flower Dragon and Cyclone Dragon roared at each other as Yuzu and Rin glared at each other with hatred.

Serena and Asuka vs Doctor

Serena LP: 2000, Hand: 1
Field: Moonlight Lio Dancer (ATK: 3500, LV: 10), 1 set card.

Doctor LP: 2200, Hand: 0
Field: Parasite Queen (ATK: 1800, LV: 8), Equip Magic: Burst Blood, 1 set card.

Asuka LP: 2400, Hand: 2
Field: 1 set card.

Serena and Asuka were sweating and covered in dirt and scratches while the Doctor remained unaffected even though he was damaged.

"Now, I believe it is my turn. Draw." Doctor drew his card. "I activate the Equip Magic: Burst Blood's other effect! By sending this card to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon a Parasite Fusioner (ATK: 0, LV: 1) from my deck!" Another Parasite Fusioner attached itself to the Queen.

Parasite Queen (ATK: 1800→2100)

"When a Parasite monster is summoned or Special Summoned, I activate my Continuous Trap: Parasite Generator! My Parasite monsters cannot be destroyed by card effect also, my Parasite Fusioners are treated as two! Furthermore, once per turn, I can Special Summon a Parasite Fusioner from my deck as well as many Parasite Fusioners from my Graveyard! Appear! Parasite Fusioners (ATK: 0, LV: 1)!" Doctor brought back the one from his Graveyard and summoned another one from his deck, revealing all three copies of the card.

"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Mega Parasite Fusion! This card allows me to fuse Parasite monsters on my field! I fuse Parasite Queen along with my Parasite Fusioners that are treated as two each! A seven monster Fusion!" Doctor smiled.

"Seven monster Fusion?!" Asuka exclaimed.

"Queen of the Parasites, become one with you children and bring forth a parasite that makes even dragons quell in fear! Fusion Summon! Appear! Ultimate Parasite that can kill instantly! Level 10! Parasite Goddess (ATK: 2800, LV: 10)!" Doctor summoned a much larger and more hideous parasite than Parasite Queen.

"Parasite Goddess's Attack Points increase by 200 times the number of Parasite monsters used to Fusion Summon her. With seven, it gains 1400 Attack Points!" Parasite Goddess gained more power.

Parasite Goddess (ATK: 2800→4200)

"4200 Attack Points?!" Asuka's eyes widened.

"Battle! Parasite Goddess, attack Moonlight Lio Dancer! Parasite Stinger!" Parasite Goddess unleashed a rainfall of stingers.

"I activate my Trap Card: Waxing Moon! My Moonlight monsters cannot be destroyed in battle and battle damage is reduced to 0!" The light of the waxing moon protected Serena's monster.

"Don't think you're safe! Parasite Goddess can inflict battle damage as effect damage and vice versa!" A couple of stingers headed for Serena and they cut her body, making her scream in pain.

Serena LP: 2000→1300

"I end my turn. Now what will you do to defeat my goddess?" Doctor asked.

Serena LP: 1300, Hand: 1
Doctor LP: 2200, Hand: 0
Asuka LP: 2400, Hand: 2

"I'll show you! My turn! Draw!" Asuka drew her card.

"At this moment, Parasite Goddess's other effect activates! During my opponent's Standby Phase, they take 400 points of damage times the number of Parasite Fusioners in my Graveyard! Since I have three you take 1200 points of damage!" Parasite Goddess splashed Asuka with her venom, burning her skin.

Asuka LP: 2400→1200

Asuka got irritated and her eyes changed. "I'm ending this now!" Asuka released dark aura and her armor reappeared and the cards in her hand changed.

"I activate the Ritual Magic: Machine Fallen Angel Ritual! I release Cyber Fallen Angel Abaddon!" A dark altar appeared in the middle of the field and a Cyber Angel stood on the altar before turning into eight flames.

"Angel that has fallen with extraordinary power! Bring law and order with your commanding form! Ritual Summon! Descend! Level 8! Leader of the Fallen Angels! Cyber Fallen Angel Azazel (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" Asuka summoned the Fallen Angel leader.

"When Azazel is Ritual Summoned using a Cyber Fallen Angel Ritual monsters as material, it can destroy all cards on the field!" Asuka shouted.

"Unfortunately for you, my Parasite Generator protects my parasites from being destroyed by card effects!" Doctor reminded Asuka.

"When Cyber Fallen Angel Abaddon is released for a Ritual Summon, the effects of all cards other than Cyber Fallen Angel's are negated!" Asuka harshly stated.

"Wait, but that means—" Serena's eyes widened. "Lio Dancer cannot be destroyed by card effects and it can't be targeted by card effects, but since it's not being targeted, it's effect is still negated and it will be destroyed."

Azazel opened his 12 wings and flapped them hard creating a strong gust of wind that destroyed all of the Doctor's cards as well as Serena's monster and Asuka's set card.

"Now that that disgusting bug is gone, it's time for you to pay for all the trouble you caused to the students of this school! Battle! Fallen Angel Azazel! Direct Attack! Lightning Arrows!" Azazel launched a barrage of lightning arrows.

"By banishing all Parasite Fusioners from my Graveyard, I can revive Parasite Goddess (ATK: 2800, LV: 10)!" The Doctor quickly brought back his Queen.

"Heh, I'm safe. You're not dumb enough to destroy your own monster…" The Doctor sighed as he felt safe.

"Azazel attack Parasite Goddess!" Azazel attacked and destroyed the parasite again along with himself.

"That was very reckless of her." Doctor thought. "But Parasite Goddess has one more effect, when it's my Standby Phase and it is in the Graveyard, by banishing Parasite Queen from the Graveyard, not only can I Special Summon it, but I can also equip all the Parasite Fusioners that were banished to it and it can attack for each one. They have no monsters on the field and Serena only has one card in her hand, with three attacks, my victory is guaranteed."

"Azazel's Final Effect!" Asuka shouted.

"What?!" Doctor gasped.

"When it's destroyed, I can Special Summon one other Cyber Fallen Angel from my Graveyard! Appear! Angel that represents destruction! Cyber Fallen Angel Abaddon (ATK: 2700, LV: 8)!" Another male fallen angel appeared on the field.

"N-No way, this can't be!" Doctor stepped back in fear.

"Asuka…" Serena was starting to get afraid of Asuka.

"Doctor…your punishment is death! Abaddon! Direct Attack!" Asuka ordered her Fallen Angel. Abaddon created a red orb within his hands and it unleashed a powerful beam heading straight for the Doctor who tried to run away but the blast engulfed him, pushing him so hard that he went through the wall.

"Ahhh!" Doctor screamed as he fell towards the sharp rocks and a loud crack echoed.

Doctor LP: 2200→0

Winners: Serena Andersen and Asuka Tenjoin

Asuka panted as her armor disappeared and her eyes went back to normal. "That man…got what he deserved…" Asuka harshly stated. She then fell to her knees.

"Asuka!" Serena called out, but the pain she got from Parasite Goddess's attack from before made her fall.

"Brother…Junko…Momoe…I did it…" Asuka passed out.

Serena rolled on her back and panted. "I'm too tired…the Duel with Daitokuji-sensei, almost drowning and this Duel drained me out." Serena reached for her pendant. "Yuya…stay safe…and come back soon…" Serena closed her eyes and succumbed to her exhaustion.

Yuzu vs Rin

As Melodious Flower Dragon and Lyrical Cyclone Dragon roared at each other, the hallways started to become overcome by plants and vegetation and strong gust of wind blew a hole in the roof, creating a storm.

"Melodious Baby Flower Dragon's Pendulum Effect! As long as this card is in my Pendulum Zone, my Dragon-type Pendulum Monsters gain 500 Attack Points!" Melodious Flower Dragon gained power.

Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500→3000)

"Battle! Melodious Flower Dragon, attack Lyrical Cyclone Dragon! Harmony Petal Burst!" Melodious Flower Dragon unleashed her breath attack.

"Naïve! I activate my Continuous Trap: Sonic Speed!" Lyrical Cyclone Dragon quickly dodged the attack. "Once per turn, this card negates a monster's attack on a Wind-Attribute monster!" Rin protected her monster. "You can't stop me, I'm stronger than you!"

"Rin!"

Rin turned to see Crow, Johan, Rio, Jonouchi and Rua running towards them. "You all are…" Rin recognized them.

"Rin, this stops now. I heard what you did to Ruri. As your older brother, I have to punish you!" Crow activated his Duel Disk.

"I'm joining this Duel too!" Rio activated her Duel Disk. "You guys should go to Serena."

"Okay, we leave the rest to you." Johan nodded and ran past the Duel.

"Rio, be careful." Jonouchi warned as he followed Johan.

Rua looked at the possessed Rin and he was frozen in fear. "Is that…really the same Rin that I fought alongside with?" Rin recalled his time with Rin. How they tried to stop Zero Reverse and being in the final round of the Friendship Cup.

"Rua, you should go too." Crow said. "Don't worry, I'll get Rin back to normal. It's a big brother's duty to save his sister. You understand what I have to do."

"Okay." Rua nodded before heading after Johan and Jonouchi.

"Intrusion Penalty: 2000 points!"

Rio LP: 4000→2000, Hand: 5
Crow LP: 4000→2000, Hand: 5

"You disgusting humans!" Rin growled.

"Interesting…I set one card and end my turn!" Yuzu set a card and finished her turn.

Crow LP: 2000, Hand: 5

"I can't forgive you for what you did to Ruri. My turn! Draw!" Rio drew her card. "I activate the Continuous Magic: Water Hazard! When I control no monsters on the field, I can Special Summon one Level 4 or lower Water monster from my hand! I Special Summon Blizzard Falcon (ATK: 1500, LV: 4)! Rio summoned her falcon.

"Next, I Normal Summon Aurora Wing (ATK: 1200, LV: 4)!" Rio summoned another water winged beast. "I Overlay my Level 4 Blizzard Falcon and Aurora Wing!" The two monsters turned into blue lights and entered the spacelike portal in front of Rio.

"Beast with wings of ice! Appear before us and freeze the flames of war! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Sub-Zero Bird Beast Sylphine (ATK: 2000, RNK: 4, OVU: 2)!" Rio summoned her ace Winged-Beast monster.

"I activate Sylphine's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, I can negate the effects of all other face-up cards on the field and one monster on the opponent's field loses 300 Attack Points for each card negated! Perfect Freeze!" Sylphine unleashed its icy powers.

Sylphine (OVU: 2→1)

"That's seven cards so one monster will lose 2100 Attack Points." Crow noted.

"Like hell I'll let you! Lyrical Cyclone Dragon's effect activates! Once per turn, when an Xyz Monster activates an effect that uses Overlay Units, that effect is negated and the monster is destroyed! Bird Shriek!" Lyrical Cyclone Dragon shrieked like a bird and the soundwaves eliminated the ice and destroyed Sylphine. "Furthermore, if the Xyz Monster destroyed still had an Overlay Unit, Lyrical Cyclone Dragon will take that Overlay Unit for itself!" Sylphine's Overlay Unit went to Lyrical Cyclone and started revolving around her.

Lyrical Cyclone Dragon (OVU: 0→1)

"What? But Synchro Monsters don't use Overlay Units?" Crow was confused.

"Lyrical Cyclone Dragon is the combination of myself and Lyrical Eagle, a Synchro-Xyz Monster. I can summon this card via Synchro Summon or an Xyz Summon and since it's an Xyz Monster, it's allowed to use effects that consume Overlay Units." Rin explained.

"My turn isn't over yet! Quick-Play Magic: Rank-Up Magic – Numbers Ascension! When an Xyz Monster on my field is destroyed, I can Special Summon that monster from my Graveyard and Xyz Summon a Number monster that is one Rank higher!" Sylphine came back from the Graveyard and soared into the sky.

"Princess of another world, transcend the boundaries of space and time and lead us into battle! Rank Up Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Number 94: The Princess of Polar Ice, Crystal Zero (ATK: 2200, RNK: 5, OVU: 2)!" Rio summoned her Number.

"I activate Crystal Zero's effect! By using one Overlay Unit, I can reduce the Attack Points of one monster on the field in half until the end of the Battle Phase! Crystal Eraser!" Crystal Zero weakened Lyrical Cyclone Dragon.

Lyrical Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500→1250)

"Battle! Crystal Zero, attack Lyrical Cyclone Dragon! Crystal Javelin!" Crystal Zero threw her javelin.

"I still have the Continuous Trap: Sonic Speed! Once per turn, I can negate your attack!" Rin activated her card and Lyrical Cyclone dodged the javelin.

"Unfortunately for you, the Numbers summoned via Rank-Up Magic – Numbers Ascension cannot have its attack negated!" Rio revealed as Crystal Zero moved her finger so that the javelin would do a 180 and head towards Lyrical Cyclone's back.

"Then, I use Super Sonic's other effect! By sending this card and all face-up Magic and Trap Cards on my field to the Graveyard, I can negate Lyrical Cyclone Dragon's destruction and reduce all damage to 0!" Rin dodged the damage and protected her dragon.

"To think she had a move like that. Xyz and Synchro together is really powerful." Rio gritted her teeth.

"Then we'll just have to prove that our Xyz and Synchro is stronger." Crow said. "Maybe doing that, we can not only save those two but we can save Ruri as well."

"Crow…but even if we save her, Ruri's memories were erased." Rio had doubts.

"You can't erase precious memories so easily." Crow said. "We just have to remind them both that there are people waiting for them. By showing them the power of our bonds."

"Right…you're right, Crow. We'll save all of them." Rio smiled.

"Hey, hurry it up!" Rin got impatient.

"At the end of the Battle Phase, your monster's Attack Points return to normal!" Rio said as Lyrical Cyclone got its strength back.

Lyrical Cyclone (ATK: 1250→2500)

"I set one card and end my turn!" Rio finished her turn.

"Here I go! My turn! Draw!" Crow drew his card. "Heh…drawing this card means…I have to put everything on the line!"

"I summon the Tuner Monster – Black Feather – Death the Mourning Wind (ATK: 1000, LV: 4)!" Crow summoned his Black Feather. "Since I have a Black Feather on the field, I can Special Summon Black Feather – Blast the Black Spear (ATK: 1700, LV: 4)!" Crow summoned his Black Feather with a spear.

"Listen up Rin, Death the Mourning Wind isn't your average Tuner Monster. When the monster Synchro Summoned using this guy as material is destroyed, it's effect will cause me to lose the game! That means the monster I'm going to call out will help you free yourself from your dragon!" Crow's Signer Mark glowed.

This caused Rin's Signer Mark to glow. "What?" Rin looked at her arm.

Rin's Mind

In a prison cell, Rin was sitting alone hugging her knees with lifeless eyes. The Crimson Dragon appeared in front of her and roared, making her look up and the life in her eyes came back.

"Crimson Dragon?" Rin's eyes widened and she stood up. "This is…" She looked around and she noticed someone familiar on one of the beds.

"Ruri?" Rin walked up to the bed where Ruri was lying down on. "Ruri, what are you doing here?"

"Ruri…who's that?" Ruri muttered.

"What is going on?" Rin was confused. The Crimson Dragon roared and flew away. "Wait!" Rin called out. She grabbed the bars and the cell door opened. "It was open the whole time? Forget it." Rin went to Ruri and helped her on her feet. "I'm not leaving you behind. Come on." Rin took Ruri with her after the Crimson Dragon.

Yuzu vs Rin vs Rio and Crow

"Here I come, Rin! I'm Tuning my Level 4 Blast the Black Lance with my Level 4 Death the Mourning Wind!" Death the Mourning Wind turned into four green rings and Blast the Black Lance flew through them and became eight stars.

"Black and red wings that contain dreams, appear before us with the inherited powers of your comrades! Synchro Summon! Soar! Assault Black Feather – Dark Hurricane Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" Crow summoned his dragon.

"If you want to lose then so be it! I activate Lyrical Eagle Dragon's effect! By using an Overlay Unit, when the opponent Special Summons from the Extra Deck, that monster is destroyed and the opponent takes its Attack Points as damage!" Rin quickly used Lyrical Cyclone's effect.

Lyrical Cyclone (OVU: 1→0)

Lyrical Cyclone crushed the Overlay Unit and released a flock of crows to feast on Dark Hurricane Dragon's flesh.

"Don't think it's gonna be that easy! From my hand, I activate the effect of Assault Black Feather – Shuriken the Mist! When an Assault Black Feather monster is targeted by an effect, by discarding this card to the Graveyard, I can negate its destruction!" Another Black Feather with a large shuriken appeared in spirit form and used its shuriken to protect Dark Hurricane Dragon.

"Damn you…this is why I hate humans!" Rin growled.

Crow sighed. "I'm disappointed."

"What?" Rin growled.

"Oh, I'm not disappointed in you, I'm talking about my sister." Crow said.

Rin's Mind

Rin carried Ruri to where the Crimson Dragon was and the dragon changed into a screen showing Crow and Rio. "Big Brother…Rio…"

"R-Rio?" Ruri muttered.

"I wonder what Yuya would say if he saw you like this." Crow said.

"Yuya…Yuya's alive!" Rin's eyes widened. Since she was unconscious, she didn't hear the announcement on how Yuya, Reiji and Sawatari were alive.

"Yu…ya…" Some of the life in Ruri's eyes started to come back.

"Oh, speaking of which, I found the perfect place for your wedding with him by the way." Crow gave a goofy smile. This made Rin turn bright red.

Yuzu vs Rin vs Rio and Crow

"Crow, what are you doing?" Rio was confused.

"Oh, and uh, don't worry about the honeymoon, I got it all taken care of. But uh, make sure you stay safe at night, if you get my drift." Crow teased.

"Will you stop your jabbering and continue the Duel!" Rin growled in anger.

Yuzu watched from the distance and then she noticed something about Rin. "That's…"

"Oh, right we're Dueling. Battle! Dark Hurricane Dragon, attack Lyrical Cyclone Dragon! Noble Hurricane Stream!" Dark Hurricane Dragon unleashed its attack.

"From my hand, I activate the effect of Wind Witch – Shockwave Bell! By sending this card to the Graveyard, I can instantly end the Battle Phase!" Rin quickly ended the battle before Dark Hurricane Dragon's attack could connect.

"I can't believe she's stopping all of our moves…" Rio sweated.

"No, we're on the right track." Crow said.

"Huh?" Rio was confused.

"Look at her face." Crow said. Rio looked at Rin's face and her cheeks were bright red. "A dragon would have nothing to be embarrassed about what I just said. A big brother knows how to embarrass his little sister." Crow gave a goofy grin.

"Geez…" Rio gave a small smile.

"I set three cards and end my turn!" Crow finished his turn.

"I wonder…" Yuzu watched with interest.

"My turn! Draw!" Rin drew her card. "I activate the Equip Magic: Supreme Queen's Claws! This increases Lyrical Cyclone Dragon's Attack Points by 1000!" Lyrical Cyclone Dragon gained sharper claws.

Lyrical Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500→3500)

"Furthermore, when it destroys a monster in battle, the destroyed monster's Attack Points are inflicted as damage to the opposing player! Since Numbers can only be destroyed by Numbers! Battle! I attack Dark Hurricane Dragon with Lyrical Cyclone Dragon!"

"Continuous Trap: Blade Shade! I equip it to Dark Hurricane Dragon and activate the first effect! I negate Lyrical Cyclone Dragon's attack!" Crow used his trap to protect his dragon.

"You jackass! Stop negating my attacks!" Rin growled. "I activate another of Lyrical Cyclone Dragon's effects! By banishing a Tuner Monster in my Graveyard, I'm allowed to attack once more! I am the master of Synchro and Xyz! You can't stop me!"

"Thanks for the reminder! I activate my Quick-Play Magic: Absolute Zero!" Rio played her set card. "I can target one Xyz monster that has no Overlay Units, and its Attack Points become 0!"

"What?!" Rin exclaimed as a harsh blizzard began to make Lyrical Cyclone Dragon.

Lyrical Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 3500→0)

"Since you're an Xyz Monster, this card works on you!" Rio smiled.

"You bitch!" Rin cursed.

"Don't think it's over yet! I activate my other Trap Card: Black Feather Provoke! When a monster's Attack or Defense Points change during the Battle Phase, that monster is forced to battle a Black Feather monster on my field!" Crow revealed.

"Damn it!" Rin cursed as Lyrical Cyclone charged towards Dark Hurricane Dragon.

"It's time for you to wake up and come back to your friends! Dark Hurricane Dragon! Noble Hurricane Stream!" Dark Hurricane Dragon unleashed its breath attack and it consumed Lyrical Cyclone Dragon.

"When the monster equipped with Supreme Queen's Claws is destroyed, battle damage is reduced in half!" Rin grunted before she was hit by the blast and knocked off her feet.

Rin LP: 4000→2600

Rin's Mind

"Damn it!" Lyrical Cyclone Dragon grunted as he felt himself pushed back. "Huh? What in the world? Why am I back here?"

"I trusted you." Lyrical Cyclone Dragon turned to see Rin with her head lowered and still supporting Ruri. "I thought you were my friend. But you never cared." The Crimson Dragon appeared behind Rin.

"W-Wait, Rin. I can help you with Yuya! We can eliminate the competition! And then I'll just leave Yuya and you as the only humans! What do you say?" Lyrical Cyclone bargained.

"You think I would be happy with that? You think Yuya would be happy? You talk about purifying the world, but the only thing wrong with the world is you!" Rin yelled. The Crimson Dragon charged towards Lyrical Cyclone and grabbed him.

"Wh-What?! No, stop!" Lyrical Cyclone screamed in horror.

"I won't let you out ever again!" Rin declared as the Crimson Dragon created a crimson prison that locked Lyrical Cyclone.

"No! Stop, you can't do this! You need me!" Lyrical Cyclone screamed before he disappeared.

"Thank you…" Rin thanked the Crimson Dragon before it disappeared. Rin looked at Ruri who still looked like she didn't know who she was. "Ruri…I'm sorry…I'll fix this."

Yuzu vs Rin vs Rio and Crow

Rin continued to lay on her back and a crimson orb that only Yuzu could see entered Rin's Graveyard. "She…" Yuzu thought.

"Rin! Hey, Rin are you okay?" Rio called out.

"Rin…" Crow looked at her. "I want to be a cool uncle so make sure you and Yuya give me lots of nieces and nephews!"

Rin sat up with her face completely red. "Don't say that so casually! Stupid Brother Crow!"

"Heh…" Crow smirked. His sister was back.

"Rin is back in control..." Rio smiled.

Rin stood up on her feet. "Hey, can one of you catch me up to speed? The last thing I remember, Cyclone locked me in a prison."

"Rin…it wasn't your fault." Rio spoke. "Cyclone took over your body and forced you to Duel Ruri. She tried to save you but she lost and Cyclone made her disappear."

"Disappear?" Rin questioned. "But I was just with Ruri. She was in the same prison as I was in my mind. Wait, how did Ruri get in my mind?"

"It appears you have been freed from Cyclone's control." Yuzu spoke, getting their attention. "Human beings are really powerful. I never thought it would defeat Cyclone's control over you."

"Of course, it did." Crow declared. "Our bonds won't lose to any power that you have."

"Bonds…yes, that is what makes you all strong. But bonds can be a double-edged sword depending on the goal humans are working towards to." Yuzu said. "Another reason why humanity must be eliminated."

"Humanity must be eliminated…don't tell me, Yuzu too…" Rin's eyes widened.

"Yeah, just like you, Yuzu is taken over by her dragon." Rio said.

"But just like you, we'll save her too." Crow declared.

"I highly doubt that." Yuzu shrugged off Crow's declaration. "So, are you done with your turn Rin?"

"Uh…I don't have anymore cards to play. I end my turn." Rin finished her turn.

Yuzu LP: 2600, Hand: 2
Rio LP: 2000, Hand: 1
Crow LP: 2000, Hand: 0

"My turn! Draw!" Yuzu drew her card. "I'll end this right now. I activate the Magic Card: Seed Burst! By skipping my turn's Battle Phase, I can destroy all monsters on the field that have lower Attack Points than my Melodious Flower Dragon and deal their combined Attack Points as damage to all players!" Two seeds fired at Crystal Zero and Dark Hurricane Dragon.

"What?!" Crow exclaimed.

"All Players?!" Rio gasped.

"But that's you too!" Rin pointed out.

"The damage is negated if a player has two cards in their Pendulum Zones." Yuzu smiled.

"No, I won't let it end here!" Crow thought. "I activate my Trap Card: Black Feather – Last Will!" Crow played his last card.

"By destroying one Black Feather monster on the field, I can negate one instance of effect damage!" Crow looked at Rio and she nodded. "I negate effect damage for Rin!" Dark Hurricane Dragon let out a roar, releasing his feathers to protect Rin as the seeds hit him and Crystal Zero, destroying them.

"Brother! Rio!" Rin called out.

"You can win, Rin! I know you can!" Crow said. Both Crow and Rio were both blown away and they hit the walls hard.

Crow: 2000→0

"Rio! Crow!" Johan came running back to them.

"No more interferences!" Yuzu yelled and the plants trapped Johan, keeping him in place.

"I won't let you harm Serena. I'll defeat—" Johan shouted.

"I'll protect Serena!" Rin shouted. "I will bring Ruri back! And I will rescue you as well, Yuzu! Melodious Flower Dragon, you're fighting me now!"

Fusion Dimension – Main Harbor

Yuya and Atem finally made it to the main harbor on the main land. "Which one is Kaiba's?" Atem asked.

"That one, over there!" Yuya pointed to a ship that had the mast of a Blue-Eyes White Dragon head on it.

"Take us down there, Gaia!" Gaia guided his dragon down to the boat and disappeared with enough space to allow Yuya and Atem to land without injury. Their arrival caused many people to gather around them.

"Yuya, what are you doing back here?" Mokuba asked.

"We need to see your brother." Yuya said. "It's an emergency!" A loud boom was heard and everyone saw Academia being surrounded by storm clouds. "Please, Mokuba! Where is he?!"

Academia – Eve's Chamber

Eve looked at the computer and dropped her books. "I was wrong…the Eve Factor isn't being tainted."

"If this keeps up then…" Eve's expression changed to that of hope. "Adam…I can finally be with you again."

Kaiba's Chamber

Kaiba looked out at the Academia being covered in storm clouds. "This power…"

"Big Brother! Yuya is here!" Mokuba came in with Yuya and Atem.

"Mr. Kaiba, the Nature Dragons, they've gone out of control!" Yuya said. "One of them possessed Rin and killed the other and they erased Ruri's memories and she's gone and…and…"

"Calm down." Kaiba said sternly. "I am aware of the situation. I've been developing ways to stop them."

"As expected of you Mr. Kaiba. So, what can we do? How do we stop the dragons?" Yuya asked.

"It's not the dragons that are causing the problem." Kaiba said.

"What?" Yuya got confused.

"When I created the dragons, they were made with only one purpose to purify the demonic dragon that destroyed the United World, that was their only purpose, after that, they were to be just regular Duel Monsters." Kaiba revealed.

"But…they want to eradicate all humanity for what they…what we did to nature…and those dragons were made to represent nature." Yuya said.

"It's true that those dragons were made to represent the nature of Flowers, Birds, Wind and Moon. But they were meant to coexist with humans, which is why I gave them human feelings." Kaiba revealed. "Had I just done what that fool Leo Akaba did on just focusing raw nature energy, then this world would have already been done in by nature."

"If the Nature Dragons are doing what they are doing, it means that something is influencing them! Something that wants all of them to be together. Broken pieces wanting to come back together." Kaiba revealed.

"Broken pieces wanting to come back together…" Yuya repeated.

"The Eve Factor…" A new voice echoed in the room.

"Who?" Yuya looked around as did the others and Yuya's chest released a light and three orbs came out, revealing Zarc, Ray and Adam. "Mom. Dad." Yuya said.

"So, that's where you were." Kaiba smirked.

"Good to see you too, Seto." Ray smiled.

"Yuya, this is Adam." Zarc introduced Adam.

"Adam…wait the Adam Factor." Yuya recalled from his memories.

"That's right." Adam said. "And those Nature Dragons are being influenced by the Eve Factor to unite back into one. For it is the nature of what is broken to reunite once more. Just like these four dimensions, slowly but surely, they will reunite as one."

"But why does the Eve Factor want to get back together?" Atem asked.

"Most likely it's because of my wife's desire to bring me back from the dead. And when all the pieces necessary arrived at Academia, that's when the Eve Factor decided to influence the dragons to reunite the pieces into one and return to Eve. If Eve were to ever get that power along with the Nature Dragons, she…will become a demon more powerful than the one that the United World." Adam revealed.

"Another demon…" Zarc shivered as he remembered his experience.

"And what about Serena? And Ruri, Rin and Yuzu?!" Yuya asked.

"I honestly don't know…but the worse case is…they will cease to exist and with no chance of returning." Adam sadly stated.
