Hey everyone. Here is the next chapter of the Fusion Arc. Man, I'm already on 20 chapters and there's still a whole lot more to come, including the final arc. I hope you guys are looking forward to it.

Chapter 20: A Heart of Jealousy

Academia – Professor's Chamber

Leo looked at the screens that showed the girls fighting with their dragons, Serena passed out and Yuya and Atem on Gaia heading back to Academia. "I don't have anymore time to waste." Leo created a keyboard and started typing in commands.

"Begin the fusion of the Four Dimensions and prepare the Isolation Chamber on my call and location!" Leo instructed the scientists.

"Yes sir!" The scientists began their work.

"With this, half of my goal is finished. The United World will return. And for the other half." Leo waved his arm and four screens appeared. "I have a mission for all of you!"

Academia Classroom

"On your knees!"

"Your day of hurting others ends here!"

"You won't need these anymore!"

Reiji and Reira helped the prisoners that were Duelists regain their Duel Disks and some of them were members of Security. Security had raided each Academia classroom and started apprehending the teachers and students as well as destroyed their cards.

"Big Brother, isn't this a bit too extreme?" Reira asked.

"It's for the best, Reira. They need to realize that what they were doing is wrong." Reiji said. "And most of the cards they were using were fakes created by the Ghouls that supplied them."

"Hey, Reiji, Reira!" Sawatari came running towards them. "I managed to get all the civilians evacuated."

"How is everyone else?" Reiji asked.

"They're all injured but nothing too serious." Sawatari said. "But…"

"But?" Reiji questioned.

Academia – Docks (30 minutes ago)

Sawatari came back to the ship the Dimension Guardians took with the last group of prisoners. "Okay, this is the last group, let's get them to the mainland. Wait…we're missing people. What's going on?"

"They went to stop Yuzu, Rin and Serena." O'Brien said.

"Wait, what? Stop them?" Sawatari was confused.

"Long story short, they're being possessed by their dragons who want to eliminate humanity. They already got Ruri." Kaito explained.

"Okay, that's bad. But we can't leave these people here. Take the ship back, I'll stay and let Reiji and Yuya know." Sawatari said.

"Yuya's not there. We saw him leave on a dragon towards the mainland." Manjoume explained.

"Just when we need him the most." Sawatari grumbled. "Fine, I'll tell Reiji and we'll stop those dragons. But get these people out of here." Sawatari ran back towards Academia.

"Sawatari…be careful…" Gongenzaka said.

Academia – Classroom

"And that's the situation." Sawatari explained.

"I see…" Reiji typed in his Duel Disk. "It looks Rin and Yuzu are currently in a Duel, but Serena is nearby. We'll head to her first. Come on, Reira."

"Right." Reira ran with Reiji.

"Hey, wait for me!" Sawatari ran.

Yuzu vs Rin

Rin LP: 2600, Hand: 0
Field: No cards

Yuzu LP: 2600, Hand: 2
Field: Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 3000, LV: 7, PS: 4), Scale 2 Coral the Melodious Diva, Scale 8 Melodious Flower Dragon.

"You're very lucky that you were spared. That being said, you're only hope of defeating me has been destroyed." Yuzu said. "I end my turn."

Yuzu LP: 2600, Hand: 2

"Even if what you say is true, I won't give up!" Rin said. "Yuzu is my friend, who took me into her house! I will save her from your control! My turn! Draw!" Rin drew her card.

"I set one monster in Defense Position and end my turn!" Rin finished her turn.

Yuzu LP; 2600, Hand: 2

"For declaring that you'll save Yuzu, you're doing a very poor job." Yuzu commented. "My turn! Draw!" Yuzu drew her card. "I summon Crystal Rose (ATK: 500, LV: 2)!" Yuzu summoned the crystalized Rose. "Crystal Rose can be treated as a substitute for a Fusion Material! I treat Crystal Rose as Prodigy Mozart the Melodious Maestra!" Crystal Rose transformed into Prodigy Mozart.

"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Fusion! I fuse Melodious Flower Dragon and Crystal Rose treated as Prodigy Mozart!" The two monsters entered the spiraling vortex.

"Dragon with the power of song and earth! Supreme Genius! With the guidance of the light in my heart, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! The dragon with the song of victory! Level 8! Bloom Prodigy Dragon (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Yuzu brought out one of her dragon's evolved forms.

"That's from the Maiami Championship." Rin recognized that dragon.

"Knowing you, that monster has an effect that will probably give me effect damage, but Bloom Prodigy Dragon can turn that damage into replenishing my Life Points on the turn it was summoned." Yuzu said, making Rin grit her teeth.

"Time to get rid of your pathetic defense! Battle Bloom Prodigy Dragon, attack the Defense Monster!" Bloom Prodigy Dragon let out a breath attack and destroyed Rin's monster. Yuzu smiled at this before powerful gust of wind spread out through the entire field. "What?!" Bloom Prodigy Dragon then disappeared.

"The monster your destroyed was Wind Witch – Reset Bell." Rin revealed as a Witch appeared above Rin, who created the storm. "This card returns all monsters on the field to their owners' decks and we are allowed to draw cards until we have five in our hand." Rin drew five cards.

"An annoying effect…" Yuzu drew four cards. "But it's all for naught. Pendulum Summon! Return from the Extra Deck! Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)! And from my hand, Aria the Melodious Diva (ATK: 1600, LV: 4)! And Sonata the Melodious Diva (1600, LV: 4)! And Canon the Melodious Diva (DEF: 2000, LV: 4)!" Yuzu summoned three monsters.

"And thanks to Melodious Baby Flower Dragon's Pendulum Effect, my Dragon-type Pendulum Monsters gain 500 Attack Points!" Yuzu said.

Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500→3000)

"I end my turn." Yuzu finished her turn.

Rin LP: 2600, Hand: 5
Yuzu LP: 2600, Hand: 2

"My turn! Draw!" Rin drew her card. "Rio and Big Brother Crow did everything they could to save me. Now I have to do the same to save Yuzu and maybe help Ruri at the same time." Rin grabbed two cards from her hand. "Yuya…give me power."

"Using the Scale 1 Wind Witch – Church Bell and the Scale 6 Wind Witch – Crotal Bell, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Rin set her Pendulum Scale and two bells appeared in columns of blue light.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Level 2 to 5! Wind that flows in endless directions, heed my call and gather to me! Pendulum Summon! Appear! My monsters!" The portal opened and two monsters appeared.

"Wind Witch – Freeze Bell (ATK: 1200, LV: 3)! And the Tuner Monster, Wind Witch – Blizzard Bell (ATK: 1800, LV: 5)!" Rin summoned a witch and a bell.

"I'm Tuning my Level 3 Freeze Bell with my Level 5 Blizzard Bell!" Blizzard Bell turned into five green rings and Freeze Bell flew through them and became three stars.

"Wind of the Winter Solstice! Crystalize this bell and let its chimes freeze the sound waves themselves! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Wind Witch – Diamond Bell (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" Rin summoned her evolved form of Winter Bell.

"When Diamond Bell is Synchro Summoned, I can inflict damage to the opponent equal to half of the Attack Points of one Wind Witch monster in my Graveyard! Blizzard Bell's Attack Points are 1800, so you take 900 points of damage!" Diamond Bell released a strong gust of wind.

"I activate my Trap Card: Triangle Choir! By releasing three Melodious monsters on my field, I can negate effect damage for the rest of this turn!" Yuzu had her three monsters sing to block the wind before they went to the Graveyard.

"I knew it wasn't gonna be that easy but…I'm not giving up! I activate Church Bell's Pendulum Effect!" Church Bell began to ring loudly. "Church Bell's Pendulum Effect increases the Attack Points of one Wind Witch monster on my field by 1000 points until the end of this turn!" Diamond Bell gained more power.

Diamond Bell (ATK: 2800→3800)

"Battle! Wind Witch – Diamond Bell attack Melodious Flower Dragon!" Diamond Bell formed and icicle spear in her hands.

"From my hand, I activate Score the Melodious Diva's effect! During either player's turn, when a Melodious monster I control battles an opponent's monster, by sending this card to the Graveyard, I can change the opponent's monster's Attack and Defense Points to 0 until the end of the turn! You've just killed yourself!"

"I activate Crotal Bell's Pendulum Effect! When an effect targets a Wind Witch monster on my field, I can negate the effect and lower the Attack Points of one monster on my opponent's field by 1000 until the end of this turn!"

Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 3000→2000)

"No!" Yuzu cried.

"Wake up, Yuzu! Diamond Bell, destroy Melodious Flower Dragon!" Diamond Bell unleashed her attack and it pierced Melodious Flower Dragon through the chest and destroyed her.

Yuzu LP: 2600→800

"I activate Diamond Bell's effect! When the opponent takes battle or effect damage, I can target one card on the field and destroy it! And because I used Wind Witch monsters to summon Diamond Bell, I can use it twice! I destroy your Pendulum Zone!" Diamond Bell released more ice that destroyed Yuzu's Pendulum Zone.

"I set two cards and end my turn!" Rin set her remaining hand.

"Yuzu! I know you're in there! Hurry up and break free from your dragon's control! If I can do it, so can you! Everyone is waiting for us to come home! Your Dad, Ayu, Tatsuya, Futoshi, and Yuya! Let's all go home together!" Rin shouted.

Yuzu didn't say or do anything as her head was lowered that her hair covered her eyes. "Are you done with your turn yet?" Yuzu lifted her head to reveal that Melodious Flower Dragon was still in control.

"What?!" Rin was shocked. "I don't get it, that was a lot of damage, way more than what Big Brother Crow and Rio did for me. Yuzu should be able to take back control. So why?"

"You're wondering why she hasn't been taken back? Well, I'll enlighten you. All of you." Melodious Flower Dragon's card from Yuzu's Extra Deck glowed as well as Rin's Lyrical Cyclone Dragon in her Graveyard, surprising her.

Academia – Parasite Laboratory

Jonouchi and Rua were watching over Asuka and Serena when they heard a small moan and Asuka opened her eyes. "Huh?"

"Asuka!" Jonouchi and Rua went to her.

"Jonouchi…Rua…" Asuka sat up.

"Easy. Take it easy." Jonouchi steadied her before she fell back.

"I…was Dueling the Doctor…and I…" Asuka remembered what she did to him. "He did horrible things with his parasites, even if we did win. I…"

"Hey, it's over. We move on." Jonouchi said.

"Yeah, you don't see me mourning Roget." Rua said.

"Good point." Asuka smiled. "How's Serena?"

"She's still out, seems like she was more exhausted than you." Jonouchi said. They were unaware of the glow that was coming from her Extra Deck.

"What are you guys doing here anyway?" Asuka asked.

"Well long story short—" Rua was gonna explain the situation when a loud clang was heard and something rolled towards them. "Uh oh." It was a smoke bomb that released a gas into the air.

"Shit…" Jonouchi cursed before he fell asleep along with Asuka and Rua.

Yuzu vs Rin

Johan noticed that the girls were in a trance. "What's up with them?" He then saw someone in a dark cloak pick up Rio. "Hey, what are you doing?!"

The person just took Rio away. "Damn it, why are these vines so tough." Johan struggled to get out of them.

Yuzu's Mind

Three flashes of light appeared and revealed Serena, Rin and Ruri. "Huh?" Serena looked around.

"Where is this?" Rin looked around. "Wait, Serena. What are you doing here?"

"I was gonna ask you that same question. Hey, what's up with Ruri?" Serena noticed Ruri had a blank stare.

"Give me a minute." Both Serena and Rin saw Melodious Flower Dragon hover above them and one of her flowers descended to Ruri and it released a scent.

Ruri inhaled the scent and her blank stare disappeared. "Huh? What happened? I was Dueling."

"Ruri!" Rin quickly hugged her Xyz Counterpart. "Ruri, I'm so sorry. Cyclone Dragon took control of me. I don't know how but I get you back your body."

"Rin…" Ruri then remembered everything. How Cyclone had killed Lyrical Eagle and how he erased Ruri's memories. "It's not your fault. You don't have to apologize."

"Good, now I hope you don't ask any stupid questions." Melodious Flower Dragon disappeared.

"Hey!" Serena called out the dragon.

"You wanted to know why Yuzu hasn't taken control again? Just walk forward and you'll see the answer." Flower Dragon's voice echoed.

"Should we go?" Ruri questioned.

"What choice do we have?" Serena walked forward and the other two followed.

Yuzu's Mind – You Show Duel School

Serena, Rin and Ruri arrived at You Show Duel School. "You Show?" Ruri was confused as to why they were here.

"He won!"

"Nicely done, Yuya!"

The girls saw that Yuya had defeated Ruri in a Duel. "Oh, I remember this. This was my first Duel with Yuya."

Yuya reached his hand out to Ruri and she accepted it. But as she was getting up, she tripped on her own feet and fell forward but Yuya caught her and the position they were in was that of a lovers embrace.

"Are you okay?" Yuya asked.

"I'm fine. Sorry." Ruri apologized.

Yuzu's Mind – Outside Kame Game

The scene changed to them outside Sugoroku Muto's Game shop. "Honestly, I didn't really want the Duel to end. I wanted it to last forever." Rin heard herself.

"Who says the Duel's over? I'll take you on as many times as you want." Yuya stated.

"R-Really? You want to Duel me again? Why?" Rin asked.

"Why? Isn't it obvious? We're friends." Yuya smiled.

Rin broke down in tears and she hugged Yuya, crying into his chest. "Rin…" Yuya hugged her back and gently stroked her hair.

"I remember that day. It was the first time I got a real friend." Rin smiled as she saw the memory.

You Show Duel School – Common Room

"A toast for our victory against LDS!" Shuzo raised his glass.

"Cheers!" Yuya, Yuzu, Ruri, Rin, Futoshi, Ayu, Tatsuya and Gongenzaka raised their glasses.

"Big Sis Ruri was amazing in her Duel. I got the shivers!" Futoshi said.

"And Big Sis Rin was amazing with her consecutive Synchro Summons." Ayu said.

"Yeah, they're both so cool!" Tatsuya smiled.

"Aw, guys. You're making me blush." Rin blushed.

"I'm glad I could help protect the school." Ruri said.

"You did more than that." Yuya said. "You inspired us to train harder and to not give up even when the odds were against you."

"Yuya…" Ruri blushed.

"How are you feeling by the way?" Rin asked.

"I'm good now. Thanks to all of you." Yuya said. "Especially you, Ruri. You're pancakes made me feel so much better.

"I'm glad…" Ruri blushed.

"That was a good party." Ruri smiled.

"Yeah, it was fun for everyone." Rin said.

"Uh…are you sure about that?" Serena asked.

"What do you mean?" Ruri asked.

Serena pointed to the other side of the room where Yuzu watched Yuya with Ruri and Rin having a good time. She crushed the cup in her hands.

You Show – Climbing Wall

"Did you all see that! I…" Rin's rope snapped and she fell from the climbing wall. "Ah!" Rin screamed. She closed her eyes and prepared to hit the ground but Yuya caught her in his arms. "My hero."

"Don't make me drop you." Yuya joked and Rin laughed. Unknown to them, Yuzu glared at them.

You Show Duel School – Common Room

The You Show group was watching TV as Yuya was going to do his first Riding Duel. "Oh, it seems Sakaki has a companion with him." Nico said as the camera zoomed in on Serena.

"What?!" Yuzu, Ruri and Rin shouted. However, unlike Ruri and Rin, Yuzu's tone had a hint of venom in it. She saw how Serena held Yuya tightly.

Synchro Dimension – Security Headquarters

"Are you kidding me? I still owe you for all the times you've saved my butt. I think that's five times or something. I lost count…" Yuya had rescued Rin from her fall from Roget.

Rin then gave Yuya a kiss on the cheek and gave him a hug. "We're even now."

"O-Okay…" Yuya blushed and the two held each other. Yuzu saw this and she clenched her fist so much that her fingernails cut her skin and blood came out.

Xyz Dimension – Outskirts

"Can't be helped." Yuya sighed. He picked up Serena like the way a groom would pick up his bride.

"Geeze, this is embarrassing…" Serena blushed.

"You can carry me when I get hurt." Yuya offered.

"I'll hold you to that." Serena chuckled.

Yuzu watched this interaction and she bit her lip.

Xyz Dimension – Duel Lodge

During the Bachelor Duelist, Yuzu thought she had won Yuya after they both danced together.

However, Yuya's expression was different when he saw Serena show off her strength, Rin show off her cooking skills and Ruri helping him relax.

Xyz Dimension – Battlefield

Yuya changed out of his dragon/demon after his fight with Rio. He then felt Ruri hugging him from behind. "I'm sorry that I made you worried."

"Ruri…" Yuya hugged her back. His expression changed to relief and happiness, something that Yuzu saw that he never gave her.

Fusion Dimension – Moonflower Garden

"Here, I want to give you this." Yuya gave Serena a long box.

Serena opened the box and her eyes widened. "Yuya…" Serena took out a matching pendant like Yuya's only purple.

"Even if we're on separate battlefields, this pendant will let you know that I'm always fighting alongside you." Yuya put the pendant on Serena and she smiled.

"Thank you, I'll treasure this forever." Serena thanked.

"And I'll treasure you." Yuya smiled. The two joined in a hug where they both sighed in bliss.

Unknown, Yuzu had seen what happened and she walked away with tears in her eyes.

Yuzu's Mind

Serena, Rin and Ruri then returned to the dark abyss. Only this time, they saw Yuzu, but she wasn't tied up, she was just sitting there with her head lowered.

"I'm his childhood friend…we've known each other since we were little…I've had moments with him." Yuzu muttered.

Yuzu's memories of Yuya appeared. The one where he rescued her from Sawatari during their first Duel, when she kissed him on the cheek after learning his past. The two of them making up after their fight regarding Yuya's Dueling towards Kachidoki. Yuya helping her regain her love for Dueling after Zero Reverse. Their hug as they promise to rebuild their new school together.

"But he doesn't…he doesn't look at me the way he looks at them." While with Yuzu, Yuya's expression was just gentle, but with Serena, Ruri and Rin, there was something else, a deeper emotion whenever he was with them. "Why doesn't he look at me like that? What do they have that I don't? I'm a Duelist, I have Pendulum, I've learned all the summon methods, so what am I missing?"

"Those powers belonged to you." A new voice spoke.

Appearing in front of Yuzu was Eve. "The powers that those girls possess are originally yours. You just have to take them back."

"Take them back?" Yuzu asked.

"Yes, they were never meant to exist. Take their power, destroy their bodies and you'll be the only one that Yuya will have eyes for. You will have all of Yuya's love and he will be all yours." Eve said.

"Yuya…all mine…" Yuzu smiled with joy.

"Yuzu, no! Don't listen to her! Yuya wouldn't want you to do this!" Rin shouted.

Yuzu vs Rin

Rin found herself back in the hall with Yuzu still facing against her. "Yuzu…" Rin looked at her.

"It's our fault." Rin appeared next to her in spirit form. "We failed to recognize that we were hurting Yuzu by deepening our bond with him."

"But I got jealous too when he hanged out with one of you but I didn't go crazy. Cyclone just locked me away." Rin thought.

"I got jealous too but Yuzu has known Yuya longer than any of us. It's because of that time length that she's like this. We've only known Yuya for a short time, but our bond with him is stronger than her bond with him." Ruri thought.

"But that doesn't give her the right to take our power. I'll stop her on my next turn." Rin thought.

Academia – Prison Cell

Serena moaned as she opened her eyes. "Yuzu…I have to stop her." Serena got to her feet. "Huh? My Duel Disk is gone." Serena noticed it was off her wrist.

"Wait, where…no, no, no!" Serena was in a prison cell, but not just any prison cell. It was the cell where Leo kept her locked up before Daitokuji got her out. "Let me out!" Serena banged on the door. "You can't keep me in here!"

"Relax, you're not gonna be in here for long." A man approached Serena and her eyes widened.

"You're…" Serena said.

"You'll be the tool for my revenge against Yuya."

Academia – Max Security Cell

Jonouchi opened his grunted as he opened his eyes. "What in the world? Huh?" Jonouchi realized he couldn't move. He looked down and saw that he was tied to a chair. "Oh, come on, you think this can hold me." Jonouchi tried to struggle, but he got tired so easily. "Damn it…I'm still exhausted.

"Urgh…" Asuka woke up. "Where…hey, why am I tied up?"

"Five more minutes." Rua groaned.

"So noisy." Rio woke up.

"Huh? Rio, what are you doing here?" Rua asked.

"Wait, what am I doing here? I was with Rin, Yuzu and Crow." Rio said. "We snapped Rin out of her state but Yuzu was still under."

"You're awake…" Walking up to the four was Leo Akaba.

"So, the baldy head honcho makes his grand appearance." Jonouchi glared. "What, too scared to take us on head on that you have to tie us all up?"

"You call it cowardice; I call it being smart." Leo said. "The best way to defeat a strong opponent is to get in their heads. With your all and Serena now prisoners, Yuya will falter, giving me the chance to defeat him."

"Yeah, right. Yuya is gonna win and we can bust ourselves out of here!" Rua struggled really hard.

"Don't bother, those ropes are HMPE Fiber, nearly impossible to break. Anyway, just sit back and enjoy the show. It's a classic." Leo walked away.

"I hate that man." Rio glared.

Academia – Airspace

Yuya and Atem arrived back at Academia while still flying on Gaia. "Hopefully we can get to them before they Duel each other." Atem said.

"I'm not losing them. I'm done losing people." Yuya growled.

A giant screen then appeared in front of Yuya and a figure from his past reappeared laughing maniacally. "It's been a long time, Yuya Ryuga!"

"You…Cobra!" Yuya recognized that man from his mission as a Dragon Soldier. "Why are you here?"

"Isn't it obvious. I'm here for revenge for you. And before you even think of refusing me." Cobra reached down and lifted Serena by her ponytail, making her cry in pain.

"Serena!" Yuya shouted.

"Not just her!" Cobra showed Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio tied up.

"Everyone!" Yuya gritted his teeth.

"You bastard! You won't win!" Serena cursed.

"Silence!" Cobra punched Serena hard in the stomach and dropped her.

"Stop it!" Yuya shouted.

Cobra pulled out a signal gun and fired it in the air. "I'll be waiting, but if you take too long." Cobra stomped on Serena, making her cry in pain and the screen disappeared.

"Serena…everyone…" Yuya trembled.

"Gaia, hurry!" Atem ordered his monster and they flew to where Cobra was.

Academia – Parasite Laboratory

Reiji, Reira and Sawatari entered the destroyed laboratory. "Whoa, what the hell happened in here?" Sawatari looked at the destruction.

"If it was a lab for Academia, then it's best that it was destroyed." Reiji said. "Let's keep moving, Serena's signal is close by. We should—"

"Ha!" A man in a purple cloak jumped in front of Reiji and Sawatari.

"Wait, that robe…" Reiji recognized that robe.

"Ghouls?! But I thought we defeated them all!" Sawatari said.

"You took from us, so it's only fair we take back." The man said.

"Ah!" Both Reiji and Sawatari turned to see another man in a purple cloak holding Reira.

"Reira!" Reiji glared. "You bastard! Let her go!"

"You bastards, what do you want?!" Sawatari growled.

"We just told you; you took from us, we take back. It's time for our revenge for what you did during the Battle Royal. If you want your precious sister and your friends back, meet us on the roof of the Academia!" The two Ghouls disappeared into the shadows with Reira.

"Damn them…" Reiji cursed.

"Geez, we have enough on our plate to worry about." Sawatari growled.

Yuzu vs Rin

Rin LP: 2600, Hand: 0
Yuzu LP: 800, Hand: 1

"My turn. Draw." Yuzu drew her card.

"Double Trap Open! Continuous Trap: Witch's Seal Spell! Witch's Limited Spellcraft!" Rin played her set cards. "These cards can only be activated when I have a Wind Witch monster on my field! Witch's Seal Spell allow me to select two zones on the opponent's field and seal them! I choose your Pendulum Zones!" Yuzu's Pendulum Zones were marked forbidden.

"And Witch's Limited Spellcraft limits us to one Special Summon as well as activating one Magic or Trap Card per turn." Rin said. "I know Yuzu's key card is Ritual Flower. Even if she gets it and adds her Ritual Magic and Ritual Monster, she can't activate it. And, I've sealed any chance of her Pendulum Summoning. Even if she summons a Defense Monster, I can use Diamond Bell's effect to win."

"You can do it, Rin. I know you can." Ruri supported her.

"From my hand, I activate the Ritual Magic: Supreme Queen's Advent! This card allows me to Ritual Summon a Supreme Queen Ritual Monster from my hand!" Yuzu said.

"But there's no monster for you to release. How can you Ritual Summon?" Rin was confused.

"If I have no other cards on the field, I'm allowed to send Pendulum Monsters from my Extra Deck to the Graveyard as the cost! I send Melodious Flower Dragon and Melodious Baby Flower Dragon from my Extra Deck to the Graveyard!" An altar appeared in the middle of the field and both dragons appeared and turned into eight blue flames.

"Using Pendulum Monsters in the Extra Deck as material?!" Ruri was shocked.

"Dragon of the earth, restore piece and balance to the universe and allow us to reach paradise! Ritual Summon! Arise! Dragon with the power to restore what once was! Supreme Queen Life Dragon – Perennial Flower Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 8)!" Yuzu summoned a new Ritual Monster that had a white body and petals that never die.

"A new Supreme Queen monster…" Rin was surprised.

"Battle! Perennial Flower Dragon, attack Wind Witch – Diamond Bell!" Yuzu ordered.

"Because Freeze Bell was used as material to Synchro Summon Diamond Bell, it can't be destroyed in battle!" Rin shouted as both monsters attacked but Diamond Bell remained while Perennial Flower Dragon was destroyed.

"At this moment, Perennial Flower Dragon's Monster Effect activates!" Yuzu shouted as vines shot from the ground and grabbed Diamond Bell.

"Wh-What's going on?!" Rin asked.

"When Perennial Flower Dragon is destroyed in battle, it destroys the monster that it battled." Yuzu revealed as Diamond Bell got destroyed.

"Because a Wind Witch monster no longer exists on my field, my Trap Cards are destroyed." Rin reluctantly said as her cards were destroyed.

"Which means I can continue using Perennial Flower Dragon's effect. Now, both of us have to Special Summon one monster from the Graveyard that is one Level lower than Perennial Flower Dragon." Yuzu revealed. "Revive! Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Yuzu brought back her dragon.

"The only monster that I have Level 7 in my Graveyard is…" Rin looked at her Graveyard.

"That's right. Call him back." Yuzu ordered.

"Revive…Lyrical Cyclone Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7) …" Rin reluctantly brought back the dragon that caused her pain.

At that moment, Crow woke up and saw Lyrical Cyclone Dragon. "No…Rin…" Crow tried to get up but he was too weak.

"Free! You little shit! I'm going to kill—" Cyclone came back and he was livid at what Rin did to him.

"Cyclone…it's time for your punishment." Yuzu said.

"Wh-What?! But our Attack Points are the same!" Lyrical Cyclone pointed out.

"When Melodious Flower Baby Dragon is used as material for a Ritual, Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summon, the monster that was summoned gains 1000 Attack Points." Yuzu revealed.

"Wh-What?!" Lyrical Cyclone gasped as Melodious Flower Dragon gained more power.

Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500→3500)

"Now Cyclone, it's time for you to accept your punishment." Yuzu said.

"No! Wait! Please! I'm sorry! I just wanted to help you! Please, don't do this!" Cyclone begged.

"Battle! Melodious Flower Dragon, attack Lyrical Cyclone Dragon! Harmony Petal Burst!" Flower Dragon unleashed her breath attack and it struck Lyrical Cyclone Dragon.

Rin LP: 2600→1600

"No! Please! I'm sorry!" Lyrical Cyclone's Body was reduced to ash and the card on Rin's Duel Disk was destroyed. The only thing left was two floating orbs making heartbeat sounds.

Melodious Flower Dragon then unleashed a pink light that hit the two orbs creating a flash of light that blinded Rin, Johan and Crow.

When the light died down, both Cyclone Dragon and Lyrical Eagle Dragon were back to their regular forms. "My brother and sister…what are your names?" Flower asked.

"I'm…Lyrical Eagle Dragon…" Lyrical Eagle spoke in monotone.

"Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon…" Cyclone Dragon spoke in the same tone. Any hints of his rage or any other emotion was gone.

"What is our mission?" Melodious Flower Dragon asked.

"Protect nature at all costs." Eagle and Cyclone said.

"How will we do it?" Flower asked.

"By destroying humanity." Eagle and Cyclone said.

"How were you able to do that?" Rin asked.

"Rin…nature always wins…and now you must do your part as well." Yuzu said. "When Melodious Flower Dragon destroys a monster in battle, the opponent takes damage equal to the destroyed monster's Attack Points. Furthermore, if the monster was Level 5 or higher, the damage is doubled."

"Lyrical Cyclone Dragon's Attack Points was 2500…" Rin said. "Double that and its…"

"5000." Ruri finished.

"R-Rin…" Crow tried to crawl.

"Damn it!" Johan cursed.

"The end. Flower Bombardment!" Melodious Flower Dragon unleashed more of her power and sent Rin flying off her feet and she crashed into the ceiling hard.

Rin LP: 1600→0

Winner: Yuzu Hiiragi

Rin started to fall from the ceiling and her vision started to fade. She could see Crow reaching out for her.

"Big Brother…even though you drove me crazy with your antics…you're the best brother I could ever have." Rin closed her eyes and smiled. Her memories flowed into her mind as she remembered becoming a student of You Show, winning the Friendship Cup with her friends and being with Yuya.

"I just wish…I could've seen you one more time…Yuya. I love you." Rin's body glowed and then shattered into green and yellow lights.

The two lights went into Yuzu's body and she sighed. "Almost there…just one more…" Yuzu said.

"Rin…damn it…" Crow cursed.

The vine holding down Johan released him. "You're not gonna take another step." Johan glared.

"Why is that?" Yuzu asked.

"Because I'm Serena's father and I won't let you hurt her!" Johan glared.

"Oh…you're either very brave or very stupid. I hold three of the four Nature Dragons; can you honestly believe you can defeat us?" Yuzu asked.

"I don't know…but I won't go down without a fight." Johan glared.

"This will be interesting…" Yuzu smirked as she and Johan stared each other down.

Academia – Rooftop

Reiji and Sawatari made it to the rooftop where the Ghouls were waiting for them. "Good, you've made it. Allow us to introduce ourselves. I am the Mask of Light." Light was a short man with a round face.

"Mask of Dark." Dark was a tall man with a black mask.

"We are a Tag Team assembled for the sole purpose of defeating the Dimension Guardians." Light explained. "We know your tactics and now we'll kill you while the Professor's new right-hand man takes care of Yuya Ryuga."

"Professor's New Right-Hand Man?" Reiji asked.

"Yes…just like Yusho Sakaki, this man hates Yuya for taking away his chance to reunite with his son and now he'll pay with the loss of a love one." Light said.

"But let's focus on you two." Dark said. "Your sister is right over there." Dark pointed to the side where Reira was tied up.

"Reira!" Reiji was gonna move.

"Whoa, hold it!" Light shouted. "One more move and the area around her will explode.

"Explode?!" Sawatari questioned.

"That's right, this is a Death Duel. Right underneath us are bombs planted to explode on the Duelist that loses all their Life Points. The fall is exactly 300 meters. And when you hit the ground." Light giggled.

"You bastards! You think human lives are a game! I'm gonna beat the hell out of you!" Sawatari activated his Duel Disk.

"Same for me!" Reiji was really in a rage as he activated his Duel Disk.

Light and Dark activated their Duel Disk as they smiled confidently as they were sure they could win the Duel.

"Duel!" Sawatari, Reiji, Light and Dark declared.

Academia – Lifting Panel

Serena cried as Cobra pressed his foot against her head. "You bastard…you won't get away with this…" Serena grumbled which made Cobra press harder.

"I'm gonna enjoy watching you lose hope in your precious Yuya. But don't worry, I'll be merciful and knock you out before I kill him." Cobra said.

"You're the one who's gonna die!"

Cobra looked up as Yuya and Atem came riding in and Yuya jumped off Gaia's Dragon. "Cobra!" Yuya activated his Duel Disk and swung the blade only for Cobra to block it with his.

Cobra pushed Yuya back hard to the other end. "Yuya!" Atem quickly jumped off Gaia, making him return to his card, and caught Yuya.

"How long I have waited for this day. It's time for my revenge." Cobra glared at Yuya.

If you're wondering why Rin didn't summon a Supreme Princess, it's because the Supreme Princess can only work for a specific Nature Dragon, not a hybrid of the two of them. In other words, Rin can't use Lyrical Cyclone Dragon to call forth a Supreme Princess, she can only use Wind Witch – Cyclone Dragon. Which is now back to its regular form thanks to Melodious Flower Dragon's abilities.
