If y'all thought Fenwick was awful before...buckle up, bitchesssssss.
Remy Buxaplenty showed little emotion in his face as he stood with hands clasped in front, his purple watch on his right wrist clearly visible. Standing in front of Orville Buxaplenty to his right posing as if adjusting his white blazer with pockets stuffed with rolls of Benjamins. Diana Buxaplenty's rested a rigid hand atop Remy's left shoulder, her signature pearly smile sewn into her cheeks.
Next to the Buxaplentys stood Trixie Tang's cocked hip in a cheeky grin with her hand posed against her white skirt. Standing between Jonathan Tang's receding hairline and round specs over monolid eyes, dressed in his Gucci blue sweater vest and crisp khakis. Holding an arm to the lower back of Li Xiu Tang's figure-fitting Qipao of royal blue satin and gold embellishments.
To the left of Tangs was Veronica Star holding her mother Vivian in side-hugs in matching knee-pop poses, Vivian adorned in a gold sequin bodycon complimenting her extravagant gold accessories. Her four-year-old daughter Valerie wearing the biggest smile to her chubby cheeks, dressed in a complimentary gold sleeveless floral lace and propped to her mother's silicone hip.
To the right of the Buxaplentys was Tad posed beside his mother Terresa Griffin, a blue eyed, silky blonde Barbie with one hand hipped to her one-shoulder sequin cloak sleeve, fitted to her hour-glass in mint-blue to compliment her ivory skin. Her other hand locked with the sturdy grip of her second husband Charles, a tall glass of dark-chocolate milk exposing his male model pecs beneath the white button up beneath his Ralph Lauren solid-navy tux. Accompanied with his son Chad to her left who, similar to his step-brother, held hands in his black jean pockets with placid expressions.
Dimmsdale's richest families were all gathered along the bottom landing of the grand central staircase within the extravagant foyer of the Fancy Schmancy Country Club. Posing for a picture to print for the frontpage news of the Dimmsdale Newspaper in which the article would highlight the rare occurrence of these families occupying the same affluent space. Remy had a love-hate relationship with posing for pictures, whether for a news article or a magazine cover. Being as how it was the only time his parents bothered to remember they had a son. Gotta uphold that "perfect family" image…
Remy's purple watch was the only one to notice the middle-aged man standing off to the sidelines, highly aware of the nanny's yearning eyes fixed on his godchild. Juandissimo clenched his jaw at Fenwick with great disdain; despite Fenwick's multiple advances, Remy had listened to Juandissimo and maintained a healthy distance from Fenwick through the remainder of the week. Though he could tell Remy was not entirely complacent with this notion. Refusing his nanny's way with him had never been utilized as an option before, an option that brought about mild unease in the usually insouciant lad. Juandissimo was certain this was the best for Remy. Especially after the sick and twisted shit that puta pulled…
However, Remy was not off the hook.
And Fenwick would seize his chance…tonight.
After the best photo was captured, the photographer dismissed the families and went about snapping pics of the rest of the country club for journalistic purposes. Diana wasted no time shooing Remy off to the side as she joined her husband in his travel down the steps, mingling alongside the Tangs, Vivian Star carrying Valerie, and the Griffins.
Rolling his eyes, Remy redirected his attention to Chad walking over to Veronica for friendly conversation while Trixie fixed her already combed-to-perfection hair in her handheld mirror as Tad approached him with a light elbow nudge. "Yo, who's the creepy old man staring at you the whole time?"
"What?" Remy turned to see Fenwick still by the ground floor. Offering a sensual smile. "Oh, um…" Remy rubbed the back of his neck, turning his frown back to Tad as he awkwardly murmured "…he's my nanny."
"You have a nanny?!" Tad practically gawked, Remy slouching further.
"Who has a nanny?" Chad happened to overhear Tad's exclaim along with Veronica, finding this revelation much more intriguing than their conversation.
"Bux has a nanny!" Tad pointed to the young billionaire moving his rubbing hand from his neck to his right arm. This is exactly why he'd never mentioned Fenwick. Criminy, must this be such a big deal?
"So what, Remy has a nanny?" Trixie put away her mirror in her lilac shoulder bag, inserting herself in a pointless conversation.
"Aren't you a little old for that?" Tad haughtily accused with a playful shove to Remy's chest.
In no playful mood, Remy creased his brow, both arms flat to his sides. "Your point?"
"Uh…none of us have nannies." Chad pointed out.
"You can say that when you all get to see your parents!" Remy pointed a judging finger at the group before pointing a thumb at himself for emphasis. "My parents are hardly ever home!"
"No duh!" Chad scoffed. "The Buxaplentys are almost frickin' trillionaires!"
Trixie blew past her lips. "It'd be so cool to always have the house to myself so I don't always have to hear my dad argue with mom about how much money she spends."
Veronica lowered her bitter glare to her boots. "Or hear Valerie cry for dad and mom yell that he's never coming back and never wanted us in the first place…"
The popular kids wore frozen, baffled stares as Remy rose a puzzled brow.
"Helloooo, everyone!"
A friendly voice led the kids to spot the middle-aged man walk up the steps with hands behind his back, wearing an equally as friendly grin as he then stopped behind the young billionaire. Receiving polite greetings in return primarily from Trixie and Tad compared to Veronica's sneer and Chad's arms crossed over his chest.
"Love your tux!" Trixie flattered with a nice compliment. "So Armani!"
"Why thank you!" Fenwick smirked, casually reaching his arm behind Remy's back.
Remy stifled his flinch from the sneaky squeeze to his left butt cheek, promptly pulling Fenwick's hand from behind him with a not-so-subtle step to the side. Creating a far enough distance that made Fenwick shoot a look. A look that, to Trixie's observance, appeared to be that of dissatisfaction.
Sensing he was being watched, Fenwick swiftly switched gears, painting a new smile as Remy's unsettled gaze turned away. "So, how are you all enjoying the club so far?"
After Orville's announcement of this week's theatric showing of another pathetic family invited for comedic purposes, two butlers manually retracted the curtains to reveal the wide screen, overhead lights dimming into darkness before once again brightened by a cinematic countdown.
Along the middle row of the Fancy Schmancy Theatre, Tad shared his buttered popcorn with Chad, Veronica seated to Chad's left beside her best friend. Trixie covered her disinterested yawn beside Remy when a girl who looked as if she avoided the sun like the plague appeared on the screen. Black low pony hatted in a dark-purple wool beanie, heather eyeshadow lidded the yale-blue eye visible through swooped bangs. A dark-blue studded earing dangled from her right ear, black long sleeve beneath a grey short-sleeve sweater centered with a stitched skull. Raisin-denim jeans belted in black leather.
Stumbling over her own Chuck Taylors, she struggled to keep the intoxicated woman on her feet. Jet-black hair uncombed and pale skin aged in wrinkles, her pink bra strap poked from the stretched collar of her loose-fitted purple tee, washed denim tattered in worn holes with white sneakers scuffed in dirt.
"Thanks for goin' overboard again, ma…" the girl huffed sarcastically, barely able to hold her mother's woozy weight. "So not totally humiliating…"
"Ahhhhhh c'monnnnnn, Mollyyyyyyyy!" her mother slurred, a near-empty bottle she'd stolen from the refreshments table still clutched in her drunken grasp. "Issa cluuuuub! Ya s'posed ta let loose!"
The girl now known as Molly scoffed, resentment crinkled in her nose from hearing such excuses before. "Wrong club, ma…"
"Whatever…" her mother slurred in a juvenile tone, bringing another swig of Belvedere to chapped lips "…you no fuuunnn…"
Dimmsdale's 1% erupted in entertained laughter as Remy then scanned the theater, realizing that Fenwick was not among the audience. He'd taken note of how much more Fenwick mingled with the other popular kids. Giving them more attention than the kid he'd practically raised since birth. This was not a crime but…Remy, frankly, felt…ignored. Unloved.
He knew his godfather thought best for him to keep his distance from Fenwick. A part of him even considered that, perhaps, Juandissimo meant well. But the look Fenwick had given him when he stepped away from him, when he'd rejected him in front of the popular kids. The disappointment in his eye, the discontent he felt. Remy nearly broke, right then and there. His heart felt so hollow, shattered with a crack large enough to spill love and affection like milk onto the floor. Draining him dry, leaving him empty.
Another small part of him still cared about Fenwick. Missed him, even.
Something Juandissimo just can't understand…
Against his better judgement, Remy rose from his seat without making his presence known, sneaking out of the theater as the audience burst into more obnoxious laughter. Stepping out of the dim-lit theater onto indigo tiles when a short turn to his left spotted the lone nanny propped with a single leg against the grey wall, brown-eyes staring off. He assumed Fenwick was deep in thought about something, uncertain of what. He wished he knew what Fenwick was thinking. Knowing Juandissimo, he'd shoot his own brains out before ever granting that wish.
Slow in his approach, Remy's soft call to Fenwick seemed to startle the nanny when his shoulders jumped, eyes snapped to Remy in surprise before they slit in scorn.
"Oh, now you want to give a damn?" Fenwick scorned, defensive in his stance as mint green diverted abashedly. "You've been avoiding me and waving me off all week without a care in the world of how much it hurts me!"
Shame hunched in Remy's shoulders, rubbing his arm.
"All I've ever done was love you when your parents didn't, and this is the thanks I get?!"
Guilt saddened his features, guilt that he'd made the only person to ever love him upset. "…I-I'm sorry I hurt you…"
When Remy uttered those very words, Fenwick's entire demeanor changed. No explanation needed to curve his lips in the brightest smile. "Oh, it's alright, Remy…" his coo enticed his own temptations, stepping forward "…I still love you."
Doe eyes looked up as the Fenwick edged closer, his legs frozen solid. Magnetized to Fenwick's alluring smile with traveling hands from Remy's shoulders down the lining of his tux.
"And I know you love me, too…" Tender fingers roaming to cup Remy's lower back to shorten their distance. "…I know you'll make it up to me."
Loving brown eyes peered directly into his soul, nearly stealing Remy's voice to speak above a whisper "…w-what if…someone sees?"
"It's just us." Fenwick crooned, lifting a gentle palm to Remy's cheek. Leaning in as he breathed past puckered lips "Only our love..."
A pinching jolt to his right wrist jerked Remy backwards from Fenwick. Unpleasant enough for Remy to cradle his wrist, glaring down to his purple watch.
"…are you alright?" Fenwick's concern asked.
"Um…" Remy darted eyes between his watch and his nanny, scrambling for an excuse. "…i-it's my watch um…" he licked his lip "…something must be wrong with the wiring."
"Wiring…in an analog watch?" Fenwick made observation, spiking Remy's nerves in his guilty pause.
Crap.
"Um…" he took unsteady steps backwards, still cradling his stinging wrist. "…if anyone asks, I…I needed some fresh air."
The young billionaire sped away in a brisk walk, disappearing down the hall as Fenwick kept watchful eyes on him.
. . . . . .
Silvers of the full moon beamed throughout the vast acres, a blanket of stars glittering along the deep navy of the sky. A gust of wind swayed in Remy's hair upon his burst out the double doors of the club, charging towards the region of fountains where no other members, guests, or staff presided. Too agitated to walk all the way back to the mansion, he sought a private, isolated area for this impending 'talk' with his godfather.
"What were you thinking!?" he yelled to his purple watch. Juandissimo transformed out of his disguise and hovered before the aggravated boy, not shy about his own vexation.
"What were YOU thinking?!" Juandissimo countered. The hell happened to keeping distance from that pedo?! "Have you lost your mind?!"
"Have you?!" Remy shot a glare, casting the accusatory stone back on the fairy. "I mean, Christ, was that really necessary!?"
"Lo siento for the shock." Juandissimo leveled with him. He did not intend to hurt Remy, the only thing he was sorry for. "I did that to get you away from Fenwick!"
"I didn't ask you to do that!"
"You did not have to! I care about you!"
"The heck you do!" Remy stomped a frustrated foot, flattening lush grass beneath his shoe. "If you cared so much, you would have never bullied me into telling you ANYthing about Fenwick in the first place!"
Appalled at such accusation, Juandissimo's glare widened. "Huevadas! I did not bully you-"
"You pressured me into talking about something I didn't want to talk about!" Remy cut him off, a subtle crack in his shouting. "That's not bullying?!"
Juandissimo clenched his eyes closed and pinched his in a deep breath, clasping his wand tighter. "It was becoming clear to me how much Fenwick was poisoning you! He was killing you from the inside!" he let out another sigh "…I could not let that continue."
Remy clenched his fists, shaking his head. Does anyone ever consider how anything affects him?! Of course, not! "…it's never about how I feel…what I want…"
"Remy, it is not like that-"
"Then what is it, then!?"
Mint green scowled in a venomous rage, a rage that could kill and spit on your grave at your funeral. Blue-violets stared wide in freeze response, not frozen in fear. Every sweltering syllable of every scorching word boiled in in the pit of his chest, bubbling in his throat under the sizzling heat trying to escape. He feared his dwindling control over the weapon that was his tongue and the damage it may inflict…
Kid gloves off; it was time Remy faced reality.
"It is that sick piece of shit preying on a little boy under the guise of this egregious notion of love!"
His scowl was stone cold. Unshaken by his godfather eruption.
"Adults should not treat children the way that pedófilo does! He has violated you time and time again, and it is honestly abhorrent! It is disgusting!"
Remy breathed a shudder at the sharp pinch in his gut from the word 'disgusting.' It jutted a dagger to his soul, piercing his self-worth. Confirming what he'd feared was true.
They will think ill of you…you disgusting little boy.
"I knew it…" shame shook in his dark mutter, trembling in clenched fists turned white knuckles. Glistening his glare when his chest hitched a breath. Released in an angered shout mixed with crestfallen pain "…I KNEW you wouldn't understand!"
The young billionaire turned his back, storming off as Juandissimo yelled out "Where are you going!?"
Whirling around, Remy fired back with as much spite as he could muster "To someone who LOVES me!"
Blue-violet eyes went wide in dismay, prominent lines between his brows that gradually creased in angered hurt as the godchild whipped back towards the club without his fairy.
As heavy as the double-door entrance was, it could not withstand the force of Remy's aggressive palms. Shoving his way into the desolate dining room, using his forearm to furiously wipe his tears in stiff snivels. Juandissimo doesn't know Fenwick like he does. Physical touch is an expression of love, and when his own parents starved him of affection, Fenwick fed him plenty. No matter if he didn't want the extra gropy stuff, no matter if he wasn't sure he liked the extra gropy stuff. Fenwick made a point to give his undivided attention, to love him in abundance.
If Juandissimo thought Fenwick disgusting for that…then he thought the same about him, too.
"What's the matter, Remy?"
Tears of frustration shot to frowning brown eyes from the hallway, stepping into the dining room.
"Why're you crying?" the nanny remained gentle in his approach, his innocent inflection masking devilish intensions "…did something happen?"
Streams of anguish poured as Remy averted his teary grimace, holding himself as if to keep from falling apart "…I-I feel terrible."
"Aww, my baby…" Now close enough to caress Remy's shoulder, Fenwick pressed a delicate palm to dampened cheeks. Pursed lips cooing a soft encouragement for his lover to look at him. Waiting as glossy mint forced themselves to meet loving brown. Curling a grin so sweet and gentle. "…I'll help you feel better."
Another snivel escaped as Remy allowed his nanny's arms to blanket him, tearstained cheek pressed to the torso of Fenwick's black blazer. Tender palm circling the small of his back with the other massaging the back of his hair. He felt gentle lips brush the top of his hairline, furious flames washed away by loving waters.
All tension melted in his muscles the moment arms of affection squeezed a fraction tighter, leftover tears dripping from eyes closed as he let his body sag. It seemed that, for once, his starved spirit would be fed what it needed. What it craved. This was not abhorrent, this was not disgusting.
This was love, and Remy soaked it all in…
"Mmmmm, that's good…" Fenwick crooned, fingers massaging blond strands. Remy's trust was in the palm of his hand. Exactly where he wanted him. "That's so very good."
The fingers near the small of Remy's back trailed ever so delicately. A low moan growled in his throat, keeping himself composed when crawling fingertips reached the fleshy fold of a tiny trunk. Kneading the flesh in circular motions, closing eyes in his tranquil trance. Yearning heat spread through his midsection, throbbing as he brushed his hips against him-
"NO, Fenwick!" Remy shoved himself out of Fenwick's stumped grasp, frown glossed in betrayal. "I just want a hug!"
Fenwick was not stumped for long, a smirk curving in his quiet chuckle. A smirk that was no longer of tender innocence, chilling Remy's spine from its devilish tone as he gazed into those beautiful eyes. Those pure, doe eyes. So captivating, so stimulating…
"Don't look at me like that…" a moan sighed past parted lips, cheeks flushed as the front of his slacks arose in Remy's direction "…it's really turning me on!"
Remy's eyes grew wide in a shaken breath, staring at the stranger in his friend's body. Switching to flight mode in his run for escape before the stranger grabbed at his arm, tugging him backwards. A cry let out as the nanny pinned him by both arms against a nearby table, grinding their fronts together. Attacking Remy's neck with sensual kisses, numb to stiffened muscles. Deaf to whimpering pleas for the ordeal to cease.
The kisses stopped long enough for Fenwick to catch his breath, pants pulsing in immense pleasure. "Do you not feel how much you mean to me?!"
Defenseless prey locked eyes with his predator. For the first time in his life, Remy was scared. "STOP!"
Remy tried with his might to push Fenwick off, but Fenwick was stronger. Suddenly more aggressive with tight grips around Remy's arms as he drew their lips to meet. Swaying his hips against the front of Remy's slacks, igniting that warm sensation of needing to pee. A sensation now mixed with pain as the warmness in Remy's pants began to hurt in a bad way. Once again, Remy willed his might to shove palms to Fenwick's chest, pushing his lips away. Not giving up so easily, Fenwick tugged at Remy to flip him around, pinning him chest first to the table as the legs and surrounding chairs scraped across the tile from the impact.
Fenwick pushed his pulsing front against his lover, bending him over. Remy managed to keep his chest above the table's surface with flat palms, resisting Fenwick's hand restraining his head down, before the rip of an unfastened zipper iced his blood. Followed by a sinister breath into his ear.
"No one loves you like I do!"
Strong resistance soon vanished when a pouncing force rang out a wild scream, releasing Remy from his chains. Causing him to whirl around with the table's support at the sight of Fenwick stumbling backwards, scratching at a purple ferret scraping its claws in every possible surface of the nanny's face. Knocking Fenwick into other tables, scraping tile echoing through thin walls. The purple ferret showed no mercy, tearing large gashes into Fenwick's skin. Slashing trickles of blood splashed onto the floor.
The commotion formed a growing crowd of occupants exiting the theater. Charging down the hall into the dining room where they spotted the wild animal attack the screeching man as the young billionaire stood frozen, unable to move. Unable to think.
Juandissimo jumped down to the ground as Fenwick stumbled about, grunting in pain with shaky palms catching drops of blood that missed the floor. Juandissimo was not done with him, oh no. He was just getting started.
With a gritty growl, Juandissimo pounced. Sharp teeth aimed where the sun don't shine.
Fenwick cried out in a throaty scream from the snagging chomp to his unzipped fly. Knees buckling under sheer agony as stunned gasps rumbled through the crowd. Remy jerked slightly at the sight, eyeing Fenwick tugging at Juandissimo's puffed tail. Trying to pry the ferret's unforgiving grip on him as the club's security finally arrived on scene.
"The hell is going on?!" the lead guard called out as Fenwick managed to yank the ferret off with a tortured grunt. Fueled by sheer adrenaline, he clenched the ferret by the tail. Slamming the side of its head against the edge of the nearest table in thrashing bangs that boomed like throwing multiple stones against a brick wall. Ire in his wild eyes.
"Fenwick, STOP!" another guard ordered as Fenwick whipped the ferret to the floor in a crumpled heap.
"That weasel ATTACKED me!" Fenwick growled, unsteady on his feet.
Coming to his sense, Remy slit his brow in his storm towards the nanny. He couldn't let that monster tell one side of the story. "My ferret was protecting me from you and you banged him against the table!"
Fenwick's eyes flashed angrily towards the boy, inching dangerously close to his face. "Because that little shit BIT ME!"
"Alright, alright! Everyone calm down!" the lead guard approached the two, spreading them apart. "C'mon, Fenwick," he led the nanny by his arm trembling in pure rage, diffusing the ticking bomb of the situation "let's get you to the infirmary…"
Trixie and her friends stood among murmured gossip from other onlookers who'd rather speculate on conspiracy theories. Looking on as security escorted the bleeding man past Remy's fixed glare. Frustration trembling in his fingers, Remy had no sympathy for Fenwick's groans of pain, limping in security's grasp as they led him past the crowd down another hall. He trusted Fenwick. H-He thought he loved Fenwick. After the stunt he pulled, that trust was now broken. That love now lost…
He tore his eyes away, his glare softened upon the crumpled heap in the middle of the floor. Rushing over and dropping to his knees before the lifeless ferret. Remy reached to cup Juandissimo's head, feeling something wet on his fingertips. Mortified by the dark scarlet that'd pooled a small puddle where his godfather's head lay.
"…Juandissimo…" desperation watered in his eyes with each shake, dread pooling in his stomach's pit the more he shook with zero response. "No…"
No, he didn't ask for any of this! He didn't ask Juandissimo to throw away his life on such irrational impulse. The heck was he thinking!?
"You did not have to! I care about you!"
Remy paused, reminded of moments prior. He'd held the assumption that Juandissimo was only here to do a job, believing he meant nothing to him. He was not the kindest to Juandissimo, because he thought he didn't love him.
Silent tears dripped onto purple fur. Without a thought, without hesitation, Juandissimo defended him from the man who had betrayed him. He could have just let Fenwick have his way after yelling and saying all sorts of mean things…yet he risked his life to save him.
Still on his knees, Remy scooped Juandissimo into his arms as carefully as possible, using a palm to support his head as the purple tail dangled limp. Unfazed by red stains spotting the sleeve of his white blazer as he cradled him close, tears stinging his eyes closed in a repentant whimper "…I'm sorry…"
The room full of viewers became invisible as he doubled over in wrecked sobs.
AN: Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter was the inspo for that predator of a character, in case anyone was wondering.
