Chapter Six: Visits, Secrets, and Reveals

The next morning, Frances awoke to Malphas stroking her leg causing her to groan happily as she rubbed her face into his chest. She placed a soft kiss upon it before lifting her head to stare into his red eyes. She tilted her head. They had been red for a while now. Not reddish brown or brownish red like before. She took his head in her hands, gently caressing under his eyes.

*I wonder if his eyes are red because he's hungry.* She thought.

Feeling her confusion and worry as well as hearing her thoughts, he smiled at her. He took her right hand into his left one.

"I promise I'm fine, my darling." He said, kissing her hand as he sent his reassurance.

She smiled and nodded; he clearly heard her thoughts. She leaned down and kissed him lightly. She pulled away, got out of bed, and went to her closet. Sebastian settled back, placing an arm behind his head, watching her as she gathered her outfit for the day. She pulled out a new purple dress and matching heels. She moved to the dresser and pulled out white stockings and chemise. She moved back over to the bed, laying her clothing down. He stood from the bed. He placed a quick kiss upon her forehead.

"I shall be with you at the dining table." He said after he pulled away.

"Thank you, Malphas." She said.

He nodded. He quickly changed then headed towards the door. With one last look at her, he left. Frances smiled. She began getting dressed for her visit with Lizzie. Once finished, she looked herself over in the mirror. She wore a rather frilly yet elegant purple dress with white ruffles on the skirt of the dress, the straps hung off her shoulders. To match with her outfit, she placed on white stockings and purple heels. Her hair was half up, half down which she curled then placed a purple rose attached to the top of the ponytail. With a nod, she was out the door and made her way to the dining room.

After being greeted by the servants and greeting them back, she made her way into the dining room. Once inside, she saw Ciel seated at the head of the table.

"Good morning, Ciel." She greeted.

"Good morning, Frances." He greeted back.

She pulled out her chair and sat down. Sebastian soon came in with a trolley of food and drinks. He placed the two silver covered plates upon the table as he explained what they would be having.

"Today's breakfast is poached salmon with fresh fruit of watermelon, bananas, and strawberries. For drinks we have orange juice or chamomile tea from Dajeering. Which would you like, my Lady?" Sebastian asked.

"Orange juice, please." She said.

"Very well." He said, pouring her a glass of orange juice and setting it in front of her.

"Thank you." She said, smiling at him.

He smiled back.

"You're welcome."

Frances and Ciel ate in silence. The only sounds being their knives and forks scraping against their plates. Once breakfast was finished, Sebastian cleared everything away. Frances and Ciel began making their way to the foyer. Once at the staircase, Ciel began to climb them while Frances stayed at the bottom, watching him. When he got to the first landing, she spoke,

"Have a good day, Ciel. I hope you won't be too bored."

He turned to look at her with an expressionless face.

"Hmph." He said, "You have a good day as well."

She smiled and watched him climb the remaining stairs. He disappeared down the hall. Sebastian walked in soon after. As he passed her, his hand lightly trailed along her lower back. Her body tingled at the touch. He smirked at her before disappearing up the stairs. Her friends showed up soon after and lined up beside her. The second they had, a knock on the door was heard. Frances stepped forward. Once she reached the door, she opened it to find Lady Elizabeth and her maid, Paula, in the doorway.

"Good morning, Lizzie, Paula." Frances greeted.

Lizzie gave a small smile while Paula greeted hello.

"Please, come in." Frances said, moving to the side to allow them in.

They stepped inside. Lizzie smiled even more as she recalled the dance from so long ago. Frances linked her arm through hers, leading her away from the door. Paula closed the door behind them.

"So, what shall we do today, Lizzie? Stroll through the gardens? It is a rather lovely day. Or we can relax in the library or…"

"Can we go to the ballroom, please?" Lizzie interrupted.

Frances smiled, not at all bothered by the interruption. She was used to it.

"Of course." Frances said, leading her towards the stairs.

"Welcome, Lady Elizabeth."

"Ho, ho, ho."

The four servants bowed politely.

Lady Elizabeth spared them a small smile.

Frances continued leading Lady Elizabeth to the ballroom. Once inside, Lady Elizabeth sat by her side on the piano bench. The two of them placed their fingers upon the keys before playing a joyful tune. Halfway through, Lady Elizabeth gave a small giggle. Frances smiled softly. They continued playing a few more pieces before Lizzie declared she wanted to bake cookies. So, the two of them did just that. They went to the kitchen and made cookies. After the cookies were finished and they had a few, the two of them made lunch for everyone. While the two of them knew that nobility shouldn't be in the kitchen, Frances never turned her away as it seemed to make her feel better. They were just about finished making them when Lizzie realized something.

"Oh! It looks like we made too much!"

Frances smiled at her.

"That's quite all right. I'm sure the someone will eat it later." She said, sending a meaningful look to Baldroy who nodded at her silent instruction.

Frances and Lizzie served themselves before heading to the dining room to eat. Out of respect for Lizzie, Frances didn't sit at the head of the table. Instead, she sat next to Lady Elizabeth. They began to eat.

Meanwhile, Baldroy took a plate of the food and a cup of tea on a tray out of the kitchen and into the hall while the others distracted Paula. He made his way to the staircase where he saw Sebastian heading for him. The two exchanged silent looks as Baldroy passed the tray to him. With a curt nod to each other, they turned to do what they had to do.

After lunch, Lady Elizabeth asked to wander the gardens. They made their way through the front gardens. Lady Elizabeth paused and looked up at Ciel's Office window. Frances stopped as she felt Lizzie's longing, Ciel's sharp fear, and Sebastian's amusement. Ciel was clearly watching them… or rather… her. She turned towards Lizzie. After a few seconds, she let out a sigh. She turned towards Frances and walked with her through the gardens.

They spent the rest of the afternoon walking through the gardens. Sebastian's cats made an appearance, the male cat deftly jumped into Frances' arms while the female one jumped into Lizzie's causing them to laugh. After playing with the cats and walking through the garden a little while longer, dinner was soon called.

Once dinner was finished, Lady Elizabeth wanted to be read to in the library. So, the two of them made their way there. Frances was about to pick out the book this time, however, Lizzie stopped her by placing a hand on her arm. Frances looked at her with a, "Hm?".

"Can I pick out the book, please?" Lizzie asked, quietly.

"Of course, Lizzie." She said, smiling.

Lizzie smiled back. Frances went to the window seat while Lizzie picked out a book. Frances made herself comfortable as she waited for Lizzie. Soon enough, Lizzie came and handed her a book. It was She: A History of Adventure by H. Rider Haggard. Frances smiled.

"A great choice."

Lizzie sat down beside her. Frances opened the book to the first page and began reading.

Several hours flew by and Frances was nearly finished with the book. Lizzie's head kept dropping before snapping up, trying to stay awake, but was ultimately unsuccessful. Frances quietly closed the now finished book. She turned to the officially sleeping Lady Lizzie. She smiled softly. She gathered Lizzie into her arms and began to carry her out the room. She made her way down the stairs where Paula and the others were. They smiled at the sleeping Lady in Frances' arms, quite used to this. The first few times they tried to argue that it wasn't her place any longer to carry her, but she insisted saying that she did not mind. Finny stepped forward to open the door. Frances nodded her thanks. Finny smiled at her. They followed her outside. Bard helped Paula into the carriage. Once she was situated, Frances placed Lizzie in as well, placing her head in Paula's lap. She grabbed the blanket on the opposite seat and covered Lady Elizabeth. She stepped back from the carriage. She and the servants bowed.

"Have a safe journey home, Paula, Lady Elizabeth."

Paula smiled.

"Thank you." Paula said.

Frances closed the door and signaled the driver. He snapped the reigns and they took off into the night. Frances smiled gently. She turned to her friends.

"Thank you for all you do and assisting with keeping Lady Elizabeth's spirits up."

They smiled with sounds of affirmation. They walked inside. Frances separated from the group and went to the salon to relax for the evening. She sat in the chair with a quiet sigh. It was a little difficult to not burst out the fact that Ciel was, in fact, alive. She didn't though. She would never go against Ciel's wishes. However, it still hurt to see and feel how much pain Lizzie was in. She truly loves him. Though, little by little, her smile was coming back with each visit she made. That was the most she had smiled since coming here. She let out a sigh, rubbing her face, tiredly. She got up and made her way to go to her room. However, she paused at the staircase when she saw Ciel standing on the first landing, watching her.

"Ciel." She greeted with an incline of her head.

"Frances." He greeted back, "Come play chess with me." He said, turning around to head back up the stairs.

"Of course, Young Master." She said, following him up the stairs.

He blinked, but didn't correct her. He led her to the game room. She opened the door for him. He looked at her with a monotonous gaze for a moment before walking in. She followed behind him, closing the door. A chessboard as well as tea was set up by the pool table. Her smile widened.

*Thank you, Malphas.* She sent him.

She could feel his smile.

*You're welcome, Frances.*

She waited until Ciel sat down before sitting down herself. He moved his piece first. She followed suit. The game continued in silence with only the sound of scrapping and the light thuds from setting down the pieces, until about a quarter of the way through their game.

"Thank you for taking such good care of Lizzie." Ciel said, his expression blank, but she could feel his gratitude.

She smiled.

"Of course. I love her as a little sister." She said.

Ciel hmphed, looking away. It was quiet for a second until…

"How do you do it?" He asked her quietly, looking sideways at her.

She tilted her head to the side, eyebrows furrowed.

"What do you mean?"

He looked fully at her.

"You let people in so easily and love so fiercely and with no fear. You even…" He couldn't finish his sentence, but she understood what he was saying. He huffed, "How are you not afraid to let people close and… not… fear them getting hurt with all the… ugliness you have been through?"

She smiled as she moved her bishop taking a pawn.

"I try to keep the two as separate as possible. I love fiercely and live each day as my last because… it is. (Ciel gasped sharply. Malphas growled in her mind.) When I'm going to die, hell, even when I did die, I lived with no regrets. Being given this… chance to live has only made me appreciate everyone and everything even more than I have previously. Yes, we go through things that are painful and disturbing, but when I'm around others, I try to treat them the way I want to be treated. (She took his hand into hers.) You just need to find that balance as well. There is nothing wrong with a few twinges of happiness, Ciel. Even demons know this."

The boy stared at her in stunned silence. She could feel Sebastian's pride and awe.

"And besides… loving someone gives that person strength. Why else would you have gotten your revenge if not for the love of your parents?"

He opened his mouth to protest before closing it right after. He nodded.

"You're right. And I will try." He said, moving his King, "Checkmate."

"And the King of the chessboard wins again!" Frances cried with fake exasperation.

Ciel chuckled with amusement.

There was a knock soon after.

"Pardon me."

Sebastian walked in and bowed. He straightened.

"My Lord, it is time to get ready for bed." He said.

The Young Earl nodded.

"Very well. Good night, Frances."

"Good night, Ciel." She said, watching him walk out of the room.

Frances smiled at Sebastian who gave her a smile back. He left following after his Master. Frances cleaned up the chess pieces before gathering up the tea cups. She took them to the kitchen and washed them, dried them, then put them away. She made her way to her room.

A yawn escaped her lips as she entered her room. She took out her hairdo, carefully holding the rubber bands and rose in her hand as she shook out her hair. She went to the bathroom to place her rubber bands in the drawer then went back to her room. She made her way to her dresser, placing the rose into her vase of roses that had survived the fire. She bent down to get a nightgown when she felt his presence. His arms wrapped around her waist, his lips pressed a kiss to her neck causing her to straighten, lean back, and relax in his hold. The demon smirked against her neck. He teethed her flesh for a few minutes, causing her to sigh and moan as her hands found his and intertwined them. He clutched them tighter as he softly bit her. He kissed up to her ear.

"My mate, will you come take a walk with me?"

She nodded.

"Yes, Malphas." She breathed.

He smiled. She turned in his arms, looking up at him beautifully. He caressed her cheek smiling wider when she leaned into his touch. He let go of her cheek. He held out his arm for her. She took it. He led her out of the manor. She smiled even wider when she saw and felt the familiar path to their garden. She hadn't visited it since before they left for Paris.

Soon enough, they were standing in the middle of the clearing with the red roses in full bloom as it was Spring. Malphas released her arm and made his way forward a few feet. He turned to face her, a serious expression upon his face. She looked at him with all her attention. A summer breeze blew gently by, blowing through their hair. It was silent for a few moments until…

"I want to show you my true form." He stated, calmly.

Frances blinked at him in surprise. Her eyes widened and a giant smile appeared upon her lips.

"Really?!" She asked, excitement in her voice.

The demon allowed a small smile to cross his face at her excitement.

"Yes." He replied calmly, demonically.

His eyes started to change to fuchsia with the thinnest of pupils like a cat's. A black smokey mist surrounded him. Ever so quickly it rolled off him and surrounded the two of them making the garden disappear. The black mist surrounding Malphas slowly faded away.

Frances gasped. Her heart and breath quickened. He was… amazing.

His feet were heeled in high black stilettos with a small oval near the top of each heel. She followed the black almost oily, thick, and slick looking skin up his impossibly thin legs. A pair of black shorts made of the same as his skin clung tightly to him and covered his private anatomy. Her eyes trailed up the smooth, yet impossibly defined skin of his abs, a black vest being the only thing from seeing his entire torso. His arms were impossibly skinny just like his legs. She followed them to his hands to his long, sharp claws. A tattered black cloak fell around his shoulders, ending in wisps at the top of his ankles. Also, upon his back were large, beautiful black crow wings that dragged along the floor. His face was sharper than ever, the same black oily, thick, and slick looking skin as the rest of his body. Around his beautiful fuchsia eyes were crow feathers that were a different shade of black. His mouth opened just a bit to show off his pointy teeth and sharp fangs. His hair was longer, his bangs reaching just past his chin while his hair went just past his shoulders. It also looked like his human hair except that it seemed a bit drier and shaggier than his human hair. Upon his head were two long horns that twisted back in black jagged edges into sharp points.

Frances was spellbound. In complete and utter awe. Her heart was beating so hard and fast against her chest, but it wasn't in fear. No. It was in amazement and awe. Malphas could feel it. Taste it on his tongue. A sharp sweetness. He had to fight to keep from drooling and warbling at the heated adoration coming from her, but he didn't fight the shiver that pass through him.

Frances slowly walked towards him. Her heart was pounding loudly in her ears. Her eyes fixated on him. Looking at all of him. When she was close enough, her right hand reached up and gently caressed his cheek. His fuchsia eyes closed and he began to warble/purr, leaning into her gentle touch. His skin felt… smoother and strangely cooler than he was in his human form. That was when she felt the tendrils of darkness gently caress her hand. Her other hand reached out and gently stroked the feathers on his wings. Her eyes nearly closed and a small noise escaped her lips as she choked back a groan at how… incredibly soft yet sharp they were. She didn't want to close her eyes. She wanted to continue to stare at the demon presenting himself to her. A pleased groan escaped the demon at the same time. Her hand moved from his cheek to his hair which was still just as soft as his human hair. Her hands ran through his hair and feathers in gentle caresses causing the demon to warble/purr louder as her nails scraped his scalp. She smiled at him. Her hand running through his hair, trailed down to the feathers that were around his eyes, near his nose, stroking them lightly. The demon's warble/purr hitched before it began again louder than before. Her fingers traced under his left eyelid, caressing down his cheek to his shoulder. At the same time, her hand caressing the feathers of his wings slowly slid to his right arm. Her hand slid down his silk feeling vest, her left hand sliding across his bare chest. The demon tilted his head back, releasing a sinful moan, bringing it back up after. His fuchsia eyes watching as she slid her hand to his incredibly thin yet strong left arm. Frances could feel the strength in them and shuddered slightly. Her left hand lifted his left hand closer to her face so she could see his mark better. It was a dark purple against his black. With her right hand, she lightly traced it. He shivered. She then ran her finger over his fingers starting with his pinky. She had felt his claws and seen them before, but she had never touched them, especially not so… intimately. They were so sharp. His pointer finger twitched, cutting her finger, deeply. She jumped more in surprise than pain. The cut already starting to heal, however, before the drop of blood could land on the floor, Malphas lifted her hand to his lips, opened his mouth, and put her finger into it. Frances closed her eyes as she tilted her head back slightly. A moan escaped her lips as her body trembled. His long demon tongue swirled sensually around her finger. After a few minutes, he pulled it out of his warm mouth. She lifted her head up and opened her eyes, staring in blissful awe at the demon.

"I'm sorry, my darling." He whispered.

She shook her head dazedly.

"Don't be." She breathed. Her eyes met his, "Malphas… your true form is… beautiful…"

The demon startled in surprise before a wide grin spread across his lips.

"You are the only human who thinks as such." He said.

She opened her mouth to respond when suddenly his lips were on hers. He pushed her shoulder to lay her down. She wrapped her arms around his neck instinctively with a loud gasp. Her back landed on his black wings that wrapped around the two of them. He used the gasp to slip his long demon tongue into her warm mouth. She moaned into the kiss.

Suddenly, she gasped, tilting her head back, breaking the kiss as he slowly filled her. She didn't even see nor feel him get rid of their clothing. The second she broke the kiss, the demon latched his teeth upon her exposed neck, biting and licking down her neck to her chest as he slowly pushed his length inside her. She whimpered and tensed, her arms tightening around his neck, her legs clutched at his hips as it got a little painful. The demon stopped biting and licking her. He moved his lips to her ear.

"You are so strong, Frances."

His nose nudged her ear as he paused a moment to let her body adjust to his new size. His hand ran up and down the side of her body. He nibbled her ear causing her to sigh and relax her hold on his neck.

"You are so beautiful, my mate." He murmured softly as he continued to push himself deeper inside.

She tensed again. He continued to softly caress her body with his hand, often wandering to her breasts or tracing her whipping scars or running up and down her sides. His other hand was by her head. His lips moved from her ear to her neck and back again, helping her accept all of him. He whispered encouraging words and sweet nothings into her ear. Once he was completely buried inside her, he gave a long, sinful moan. Frances paused in getting her breathing under control to look at him. His eyes met hers the second he felt them on him.

"Malphas."

"Frances."

They whispered at the same time.

The demon pulled to her entrance before pushing back in. Frances cried out. Her hands tightened around his neck again. The demon continued to ravish her body with his hand and mouth. Soon the pain dissipated and turned into… pleasure. The two of them made noises of arousal. Frances wrapped her legs around the demon's hips as he slammed into her again and again. They heard a crack underneath her, but didn't pay any attention to it. As the feeling rose, Malphas began to snarl at her.

"You are mine! Mine! My mate! My strong human! My beautiful, accepting, strong human!" He accented each sentence with a thrust and the last sentence, each adjective with a thrust.

Frances was lost in the sensations. Her arms and legs clutched him tightly. Her head was near his neck in between where his head and neck connected. And all she could do was repeat his name over and over again.

"Malphas! Malphas! Malphas! Malphas! Malphas! MALPHAAASSSSS!" She screamed as she fell over the edge of bliss.

"FRANCEEESSSSS!" Malphas roared.

It was too much! Feeling his gentle caressing touches upon her skin, the tendrils of darkness caressing every inch of her, the repeated pounding deep inside her, the feelings of their love combined, their songs (including the new one) melting together in a strange yet beautiful, haunting melody! It was too good! It was blissfully wonderful! It was too much for her to handle!

As Malphas fell back into his body, his arms reached out and gently caught Frances' prone form. He quickly yet gently placed her on his wings. He quickly grabbed her legs that were falling and wrapped them back around his waist. He held onto them as he thrusted in and out of her. Little huffs escaped her lips as he grunted quietly. He gave six successful thrusts before arching his back, releasing a loud, sinful moan as he released his essence into her a second time.

He fell back into his body, his warble/purr loud as his black heart pounded in his ears. He hung his head forward in between her breasts, exhausted. He stilled. A chuckle escaped him. He slowly placed her legs down on his wings. His hand slid up them, running over her beautiful body covered in sweat.

"You are the only human who can make me feel exhausted. You never cease to amaze me, Frances."

He lifted his head to look at her blissful, pleasure-induced face. A smile appeared upon his face. His hands reached up to cup her flushed cheeks, gently caressing her right cheek as he looked over her face. Her forehead with covered with a sheen of sweat, her curved brown eyebrows were relaxed into her forehead in straight lines, eyes closed, her small yet full eyelashes caressed her skin, her cheeks warm and red from pleasure, her full pink lips bruised slightly and were slightly parted, breaths even and relaxed. He looked over the numerous marks on her body from him and smirked as he recalled how they brought her pleasure. His lips turned into a slight frown at the marks from the angel's wings. He would have to do something about them soon. He leaned back to look at her blissful face as he continued stroking her cheek. His thoughts turned to his plan.

He thought a lot about this plan. And with her accepting his true form as she did… His plan would be put into action at the next full moon. He refused to lose her again. This thing with Claude further established his need to move ahead with his plan. He leaned close to her lips, their noses almost touching.

"You will be mine for all eternity, Frances." He whispered, darkly, possessively.

As if agreeing to his plan, she leaned into his hand that gently stroked her face, nuzzling it, and touching his nose slightly. A sigh escaping her. His pupils turned into the thinnest of slits. A wide grin that showed off his sharp teeth spread upon his face. His warble/purr/rumble echoed loudly in the darkness. He gently nuzzled her nose back and placed a kiss upon her lips. He pulled away to see her settle again with another sigh. He continued to caress her cheek.

An hour passed; the demon let out a sigh. He knew she needed to be in a proper bed and to be able to get an adequate amount of rest. With great reluctance, he pulled away from her. He slowly extracted himself from inside her. She didn't even stir. He left a pile of feathers underneath her as he extracted his wings from under her. He quickly cleaned the two of them up. He slowly transformed into his human form. Once he did so, dressed in a black shirt and pants, he held his tailcoat in his gloved hands. He wrapped Frances in it. He picked her up careful not to disrupt her sleep nor add to her pain. He glanced down at the ground under her. A smirk spread upon his lips as he saw his pile of feathers tilting into the cracked foundation. With a wave of his hand, everything was fixed as if nothing disturbed it in the first place. His feathers gone. He walked forward, as he stepped through his darkness, it disappeared behind him, leaving no trace. He quickly made his way to the manor, to her room. He placed her in bed, removing his tailcoat, then covered her. He went to the closet. He placed his tailcoat in it. He removed his gloves and placed it in the pocket of his tailcoat. He quietly closed the door of the closet. He made his way back to her. He climbed in and pulled her to lay on his chest. He smelled her rose and peachy scent, mixed perfectly with his smokey flames scent. His eyes glowed fuchsia.

"Mine." He growled.

A bright shining full moon stood gleaming at her in a black, starless sky.

"As the full moon rise on each side of the earth, mark the symbol of the Devil into the ground. Have the subject consume tainted blood eleven times and chant the incantation over the course of six months to change the subject into a being of the Devil himself."

The moon disappeared, leaving behind the dark sky. Fuchsia eyes with cat eye slits flashed in the darkness.

Frances' eyes shot open. She felt Sebastian gently running his fingers through her hair while his other hand ran up and down her leg as she laid on his chest. She didn't remember falling asleep on his chest, she was under him when she passed out from the… blissfully wonderful pleasure he gave her last night. The demon began to warble/purr in happiness, desire, and love. She could feel all three causing her to smile. Her hand ran up to his chest, under his shirt as she rubbed her nose into his chest. She gave him a soft kiss upon it. His warble/purr grew louder as his feelings of enjoyment grew. She lifted her head to meet his red gaze. He smiled at her. His hand running through her hair went to her chin, pulling her into a kiss. He pulled away after a few minutes. Chuckling when she gasped for air.

"Good morning, my beautiful, accepting mate. How are you feeling?"

She smiled widely as she stretched her body out.

"Blissfully wonderful!" She exclaimed.

She flinched as she felt the pain in her body, especially in her lower extremities. Malphas chuckled. He leaned forward and placed a kiss upon her forehead.

"That pleases me." He said, pulling away.

She smiled. She reached up and gently cupped his cheeks. One hand gently caressing his left cheek repeatedly. Malphas warbled in content. Her smile widened.

"Your true form is… amazing, Malphas." She breathed in quiet awe.

Malphas smiled. He nuzzled into her hand. He looked back at her.

"Come." He said, gently moving her off his chest before gathering her into his arms in a bridal carry. He stood and walked to the bathroom, "I have prepared a bath to help speed up your healing process."

She snuggled into his chest.

"Thank you."

He gave her a kiss on her head.

"You're welcome, my darling."

She let out a contented sigh, listening to his heart beat through his chest.

Soon enough, they were in the bathroom. The scent of roses filled her nostrils. She inhaled deeply, relaxing instantly. Malphas gently lowered her into the bath. When the warm water hit her sore area, she hissed and tensed in pain. Her hands flew to his shoulders, nails digging into his shoulders. Malphas' mouth instantly went to her neck and began to teeth her flesh. She sighed, relaxing in her hold on him. He smirked against her neck. He continued teething her flesh until she was fully relaxed in the bath. She allowed the warmth of the steaming water to wash over her. She let out a hum of pleasure.

"You… are too tempting, my darling mate." He murmured against her skin.

She smiled brightly at him. He pulled away from her with a grin of his own. He cleared his throat. He began going over her schedule.

"Now then, this morning, you shall stay in this bath for at least forty-five minutes. After you are dressed, the Young Master shall join you for breakfast at the dining table. After which, you have a few business proposals to look over and paperwork to complete. After lunch, you must dress in an appropriate outfit fitting for a meeting with the Queen. Once you are dressed, I shall escort you and the Young Master to the Palace to announce his return. Once we return, you may resume your work. At two you have your French lesson with Madame Flora. After which, you shall finish the day by working on your oils and potions. That is all for today."

She nodded, not surprised that they would be visiting the Queen.

"Thank you, Malphas." She said.

"You're welcome, my Frances. (He bowed.) Please excuse me, I must start on breakfast."

He straightened.

"All right. I'll see you later."

"See you later, my darling."

He left the room.

She relaxed in the bath. After a little while, she blocked Sebastian from hearing her thoughts to think about what her dream meant. It was… oddly cryptic. She had never had one being this way. Did it mean she was going to turn into a demon? She wanted to ask Malphas yet… something told her not to. She shook her head, resigned to the feeling.

The rest of the morning went by quickly and as planned. Right after lunch, she went into her room. She smiled as she saw the dress laid out for her. It was the one she wore for her Damehood ceremony. She closed her eyes when she felt his presence and hands upon her shoulders. His breath caressed her ear as he spoke.

"I have been yearning to tie you in a corset again."

She shivered in pleasure. The demon chuckled darkly. He pressed a kiss to her neck, softly biting it. A whimper escaped her lips. She made to lean into him, however, his hands moved to her waist, stopping her.

"I must get you dressed, my darling. No time for… pleasures." He said, regretfully.

A come-hither whimper escaped her lips at the breath on her neck, but she nodded. She raised her arms. She felt him smirk and felt his pride. In the next few seconds, she was dressed. Corset, dress, stockings, and heels. Her hair was left in its braided bun, however, now accompanying it was a dark blue flower to match the dress. She looked up into his red eyes which burned with lust. A smile graced her lips. She leaned up and kissed him. He kissed her back. After a few minutes, they parted. He relished in her gasp.

"Come." He said, holding out his arm, "Young Master is waiting."

She nodded, taking his offered arm.

"Yes, Malphas." She said.

They made their way down the hall and down the stairs where the Young Master and the servants were waiting. Frances smiled as she saw Ciel was in his black and white outfit he always wore when going to the Queen or events where the Queen might be present. She could feel his as well as the servants' awe as they watched the two of them descend down the stairs. They approached the group. There was silence for a few moments as Ciel continued to stare. Suddenly, a blush appeared upon his cheeks.

"You look lovely." He commented.

Her smile widened.

"Thank you." She said, inclining her head, "You look handsome."

He looked away, his blush darkening.

"You always say that." He muttered.

She laughed.

"'Cause it's true. Though, Sebastian is the most beautiful." She said, looking at the demon.

She heard him warble in pleasure within her mind as a smirk grew on his face. He leaned down and kissed her lips. She kissed him back. Ciel's blush grew deeper. He grumbled and turned away from them. The servants awed at the scene while Little Man Tanaka chuckled.

"I hope you two won't do that while we're in public!" Ciel snapped, walking out to the waiting carriage.

They pulled apart come that statement. As Frances gasped, a smirk spread on both their faces. They both turned forward, following after the embarrassed boy.

"Of course not, we would never besmirch the Phantomhive name after all." Sebastian said, with a hand on his chest.

The boy grunted in annoyance. Frances giggled softly. Sebastian let out a huff of a laugh. He quickly moved in front of them and opened the carriage door. He assisted them in. Frances gave her thanks as usual. Sebastian entered in after them. Once they were all situated, Ciel signaled the driver and they took off down the road.

They arrived at the Palace in no time. Sebastian assisted them out of the carriage to which Frances gave him a nod of thanks. He acknowledged it with a nod of his own. They made their way into the Palace. They could hear whispers as they entered the room where the Queen was. The two butlers standing on either side of her as usual. Sebastian stayed by the door while Frances continued walking down the aisle. Frances caught Claire's gaze, giving her a smile which Claire returned. Frances turned her gaze forward to the Queen. Ciel and Frances stood before the Queen. Frances gave a curtsy as Ciel went to his knee, head bowed deeply.

"You may rise, Lady Frances." The Queen commanded.

Frances rose. She met eyes with the Queen who held a small smile. Frances inclined her head slightly. She took a step back. The Queen stood from her seat.

"You may rise, Earl Phantomhive." She commanded.

Ciel did as he was told. The Queen smiled at him, kindly.

"Welcome home once again, Lord Phantomhive. (She glanced at Frances.) Frances has told me (She looked back at him.) that you were looking for me during the fire to ensure my safety."

Ciel bowed his head once again.

"Yes, Your Majesty, I was heading here. Unfortunately, I did not make it. You see, my butler and I ran into some criminals. We took care of them, however, one of them managed to sneak past us and struck me from behind. My butler took me to a doctor who told him that I had a concussion. I just awoke four days ago. I am at your service, should you require me, Your Majesty."

The Queen approached him, smiling kindly at him. She gently cupped his cheek in a grandmotherly way. Ciel looked up at her.

"My dear boy," She said, softly, "England is still filled with those who wish to harm my people (She removed her hand from his cheek and placed it on her heart.). It would be my honor to accept your servitude as my Guard Dog."

Ciel once again bowed his head.

"As you wish, Your Majesty."

He raised his head. The Queen gave him another smile. She turned her gaze to Frances.

"I shall call upon both of you when the need arises."

Frances gave another curtsy as Ciel bowed.

"Yes, Your Majesty." They said at the same time.

"You may rise."

They did so. The Queen smiled at them warmly. She turned her gaze to the nobles around her.

"My Guard Dog has returned." She announced.

The applause was thunderous.

After mingling with the people for a few minutes and Frances introduced Sebastian and Ciel to Claire and the Queen conversed with her, they made their way back to the manor. Frances looked out the window watching the scenery pass by, her hand holding Sebastian's, leaning her head against his shoulder. Sebastian gently ran his thumb over her fingers repeatedly. Ciel watched the couple. The calm, content look on their faces were even more prominent than before. His butler was even leaning into the seat as Frances leaned against him, his eyes on her. Usually even when she did that before, he would be ramrod straight, but now… Perhaps, if demons found a way to be calm and loving…

"Frances." He called her.

They both looked up at him, sitting up at attention.

"Yes, Young Master?" She asked.

"I… have thought about what you said. We'll host a party this weekend to announce my return to family and friends. Only for family and friends."

Frances smiled and nodded.

"That's wonderful. I'll write up the invitations when we get back."

He nodded.

"Very well."

Frances' smile widened.

"You may want to prepare yourself for Lizzie and Soma. I know for a fact they will cry quite a bit when they see you."

Ciel sighed in annoyance, but Frances could feel the small happiness and regret of having made her worried again.

"She loves you, just as you love her." Frances said, gently.

The boy blushed and looked away. Sebastian raised a fist to his mouth to hold in his laughter while Frances giggled as she snuggled into Sebastian's side. Sebastian's arm went around her waist, his fist came away from his mouth to rest in his lap. The rest of the carriage ride was spent in silence.

Once they returned to the manor, Frances excused herself to get back to her paperwork as well as write the invitations. Sebastian took them and delivered them the second she was finished with them.

As the day continued and it was almost teatime, Frances requested water instead of tea. Sebastian brought the tray of water and announced the plate of the slice of cake as gateau chocolat. She thanked him.

"One more thing." Sebastian said as she used her fork to cut a piece of the cake.

She looked up at him to see he was holding a letter.

"The head of Trancy household has accepted your request to see him tomorrow. I shall accompany you."

"You don't…"

She was cut off by a growl and a flash of fuchsia eyes.

"I'm going."

She gave him a stern look.

"Malphas, they aren't going to try anything. And besides that, wouldn't it be bad for them to know the Young Master has returned? We did just let the Queen know and everyone else will know Saturday…"

"No. It will not be bad for them to know he has returned. Eventually, everyone will know anyway. In any case, I am going. I will not permit that demon to touch what is mine again." He growled, his eyes glowing a swirling fuchsia/orange.

Frances sighed.

"Very well. You will at least be cordial with them, right?"

"But, of course. I am one hell of a butler after all."

She shook her head with a smile of amusement. The demon butler smirked at her. He watched her as she ate her snack and drank her water. Once she was finished, he took the dishes and left the room, allowing her to resume her work.

The following day after breakfast, the two of them sat in the inside of the carriage while Baldroy drove the carriage to the Trancy Manor. Though, he was very displeased with the idea of returning there.

It was nearly ten thirty when they arrived at the Trancy Manor. Sebastian stepped out before assisting Frances. Once safely on the ground, she thanked him. He smiled at her. They turned their attention to Bard who gave them a nod.

"I'll wait 'round back for you two."

The two nodded.

"Thank you, Bard." Frances said.

He gave one last nod before driving the carriage towards the servants' door. Frances and Sebastian exchanged a look and nod before walking forward. They only got about a quarter of the way to the front door when they saw Claude approach them from the right. He stopped right in front of them. They stopped. A glare entered Claude's eyes. Sebastian glared back. Frances glanced between them. There was obvious history between the two. She would ask Sebastian later. He bowed politely. He straightened and paused a moment. She watched as his nose flared and his eyes widened. Frances tilted her head, her eyebrows furrowed. Suddenly, her eyes widened as she realized, he's a demon so he could smell Sebastian inside her! A bright blush appeared upon her cheeks causing her to look away. Sebastian gave a smug look at Claude as he pulled her close, running his nose against her neck. She shivered. She turned and glared at him.

"Sebastian." She hissed.

He chuckled at her red embarrassed face.

*You're so cute, my mate.* He sent her, kissing her forehead.

She mentally growled at him.

Claude cleared his throat.

"Lady Harkness, my Master awaits your arrival in the garden. Tea will be brought out momentarily. (His eyes flickered to Sebastian's with a smug look in his eyes. Sebastian's eyes instantly narrowed. A growl escaped him in his mind. Frances sent him calmness.) Please, this way." Claude said, a small smirk on his face as he gestured them forward.

Frances nodded.

"Thank you, Claude."

Frances walked out of Sebastian's grasp with Sebastian following as a servant should.

Once they entered the garden, Frances' eyes widened. The garden was stunning! There were columns at the edges of the bushes spaced twelve feet from the other with red roses and green vines climbing up them. There were many different flowers throughout the gardens. They came upon some archways that would trade off of bluebells and red roses. The stone walkways were a cool grey with a dark red outlining them. It was rather beautiful. They continued forward. Her breath was taken away at the sight of where they would be having tea. There, in the center of the garden, was a beautiful open gazebo! It had red roses climbing up it with green vines and red roses hanging from the top of it. Alois Trancy sat underneath it in the chair facing them. A table with a white cloth and another chair sat before him. There was a white vase in the center of the table with red roses. Alois stood up when he saw her, waving enthusiastically at her. He was wearing a pair of light brown shorts with his dark brown boots, lime green shirt, and purple coat.

"Frances!" Alois cried, running towards her.

She waved back.

"Hello, Alois." She greeted.

He stopped directly in front of her with a bright smile. A laugh escaped his lips.

"Come sit down. Claude, show Sebastian to the servants' quarters."

"Actually, Alois, if it's all right with you, could Sebastian stay with me, please? Sebastian can assist Claude with the tea."

Alois looked at her with a dark glare.

"Why? You don't want to be alone with me, anymore?" He asked in a dangerous voice.

She could feel the anger and jealousy rolling off him.

"No, that isn't it." She said with a shake of her head, "We have a few other things to get to today so it would be a little silly to send him off when we have to leave soon."

The boy's eyes widened. He gripped her hand tightly.

"But-But you just got here!"

She smiled softly.

"I know. I'm sorry. But, I promise we will see each other again soon and I will make time to spend it with you. How does that sound?"

He gripped her arm with his other hand and tugged on it with excitement, laughter escaped him.

"That sounds great! (His grip suddenly tightened even more as he looked up at her with a glare. Malphas growled in her head. *Easy, Malphas. He won't hurt me.* She sent him calmness. Malphas relaxed slightly, but remained alert.) But, if you are lying, I will make you eat horse shit."

She frowned at his language, but didn't say anything. She nodded.

"All right. Shall we?" She asked, gesturing to the chairs.

"Yes. Let's sit. Claude, tea."

"Yes, Sir." Claude said, bowing.

"Allow me to assist you." Sebastian stated, booking for no refusal.

Claude straightened. His eyes narrowed for a moment before returning to his expressionless gaze.

"Very well."

The two walked away. Frances and Alois sat down.

"So," Frances started, "how have you been since I last saw you?"

"Meh, fine. Things are still boring here. That's why I'm glad you're here! You're interesting and keep the boring away."

Frances smiled and inclined her head.

"Thank you. May I just say, I love your gardens. They are so beautiful!" She said, reaching out to touch one of the red roses in the vase delicately.

"Thanks. But, I think I prefer it (He picked up the rose she was touching and placed it in her mouth.) here!"

She looked at him in surprise before she let out a laugh, allowing the rose to fall into her hand. She reached over and ruffled his hair.

"Silly boy."

He chuckled and clapped his hands together twice. She was about to put it back when he shook his head.

"That's yours now."

She smiled.

"Thank you, Alois."

Frances placed it on the table beside her utensils. Claude and Sebastian returned with a snack and tea. Sebastian raised an eyebrow at the laughter, but didn't comment. Tea was served in a beautiful bluebell floral design teapot and into matching cups served by Claude.

"Today's tea is black tea by Ridgeways."

Claude placed the cup in front of Frances. She looked up and met his golden eyes.

"Thank you, Claude."

He gave her a nod. Sebastian stepped up next announcing the snack.

"To accompany the tea is chocolate macaroons with chocolate filling, raspberry filling, and caramel filling." He announced, setting a matching bluebell floral plate in front of her with the three macaroons arranged on it.

She looked up into his red eyes and smiled.

"Thank you, Sebastian."

He gave her a nod. He moved to place the other plate in front of Alois. He stepped back, standing next to Claude. Alois lifted a macaroon up and held it out in front of himself.

"Bon appetite!" He cheered.

Frances smiled and did the same with her raspberry one.

"Bon appetite!" She cheered back.

The two ate the macaroons and drank the tea in a comfortable silence with only the birds chirping. After tea was finished, Alois dabbed his mouth with his napkin.

"So," He said, placing his napkin down, "what is your decision about my proposal?"

Frances wiped her mouth with her own napkin. She placed it on the empty plate.

"I am afraid my answer is still the same. I decline your proposal."

He sighed.

"Very well then. (He held out his hand which she took.) It was a pleasure doing business with you." He said as they shook hands.

"You as well." She said, releasing his hand.

Sebastian clicked open his pocket watch. He closed it after referring the time.

"My Lady." He prompted.

She turned to him.

"Yes, of course, Sebastian. (She turned back to Alois.) I will keep my promise to see you later. Try to keep the boring away, all right?" She asked, standing up.

Alois nodded as he stood up as well.

"I'll try." He said.

Frances turned and walked away. Sebastian followed behind her. Alois waved goodbye to her.

"Byeeee!" He shouted, waving enthusiastically at her.

She turned her head back, a smile upon her lips, and gave a small wave.

"Goodbye, Alois."

She turned forward, continuing on her way with Sebastian. When they got to the front entrance, their carriage was already waiting for them. Baldroy smiled at them, feelings of relief flowed from him. She smiled back before turning her attention upon entering the carriage with Sebastian's assistance. He climbed in afterward. Once they were situated, Sebastian hit the roof to signal Bard. They rolled forward.

Once they were out of the Trancy property and out on the road, both of them relaxed. Frances leaned into Sebastian's body. His arms instantly wrapped around her. She looked up into his red eyes.

*You know him. The spider demon.*

He let out a quiet sigh and glared to the side.

*Yes. I know him.*

She tilted her head, leaning her chin against his chest.

*Will you tell me?* She asked, blinking beautifully and curiously at him, *Please?*

He looked back over at her, eyes softening a bit. He gently caressed her cheek before intertwining his hand with hers and setting them in her lap.

*As you are well aware, demons are extremely competitive. We make it our mission to get what we want. It's an obsession that completely takes us over, no matter the cost. (He caressed her cheek with his free hand, looking meaningfully into her eyes. She smiled and nodded.) When I was younger, Claude and I would run into each other from time to time and compete against each other. (A dark smile that look more like a prideful smirk spread across his lips.) Of course, I always won, despite him being a King as well.*

Her eyes widened. She leaned back from him quickly.

*You're a King of Hell?!*

The demon laughed loudly out loud. So loud, it shook the carriage.

"Oi! You all right in there?" Baldroy asked.

"Just fine, Baldroy." Sebastian said as he gathered her into his lap and buried his face into her hair, still laughing. Though, now at a slightly quieter volume.

*You are adorable, my darling.* He sent her, kissing her temple.

She blushed, averting her eyes for a moment. She looked back up at him, inquiringly.

*Yes, I am a King. Do you recall when we discussed the layout of Hell?*

She nodded.

*You said it was a vast wasteland with flames, rocks, and valleys of jagged rocks everywhere. That the punishment areas for humans are separated by nine layers.*

*That is correct. I rule over the violence circle.*

She gave a quiet laugh.

*That does not surprise me in the least.*

He joined her with a chuckle. He ran his hand over her leg. They were quiet for a moment, until…

*So, if you're in charge of violence, what is Claude King of?*

*Gluttony.* He answered.

She nodded.

*I see… You think he stole Ciel's soul.*

Sebastian's eyes glowed fuchsia/orange with the thinnest of slits.

*I know he has. And that brat wants him too. For what reason, I'm unsure.*

She placed her hand upon his heart, sending him calmness.

*We'll find it, Malphas, together.* She said, determinedly.

The demon looked at her. He began to purr as he nuzzled her nose. She leaned into his touch; a sigh escaped her lips.

*My precious mate.* He murmured, kissing her nose.

*My demon.* She sighed.

He moved his head so it laid on top of hers. A few moments of comfortable silence filled the carriage. It broke when Malphas spoke.

*You seem to enjoy Alois' company.*

She shrugged.

*He's different from Ciel, more… emotional, I guess.*

*Hm… Yes, very eccentric.* Malphas agreed.

*And… his story is intriguing.*

*How's that?*

*Well, Alois told me he was kidnapped and made to work at some village where he met his "would be brother". There was a fire and he found him dead. As he told me his story, the song attached to Alois only played when he talked about his "would be" brother and the fire and when he found him dead. Which makes me think there is more to his story.*

Malphas raised an eyebrow.

*More like what?*

*I'm not sure. I think the village he was at is real and the would be brother is actually his brother. I mean, why else would the song play only for those parts?*

*Hm, true. Perhaps you can attain more information about why he wants MY Young Master.*

She smirked. Her hand running up his chest.

*I will try.*

He ran his hand through her hair. She let out a sigh, snuggling deeper into his chest. They remained in a comfortable silence until they got home.

A/N: Hello again! My first end of the story Author's Note! LOL! I just wanted to say that I based Sebastian's demonic look on the various scenes from Black Butler Season One, Book of Circus, and Book of Atlantic.
