On Today's Episode: With both Mat and Melissa injured and sidelined for the rest of the caper, the remaining spies continue to chase after Hayes and Sebastian, appropriately enraged at what the villains have done. But it seems like both baddies have something more sinister in mind than just causing destructive arguments. Can the spies put a stop to whatever Hayes and Sebastian have planned before it leads to possibly destructive consequences?
Act 2: Song of Destruction
7:31 P.M. – Into the Night Hotel
"They can't be this difficult to find, can they?" Alex wondered as the nine remaining spies continued their search for their villains.
"You think they're trying to stay out of Nick's radar range?" Bridget asked.
"That, or maybe it's just harder to lock onto them specifically because of all the people in this hotel," Dawn noted.
"They probably don't want to get me any angrier than I already am," Nick responded. "Because when I find those two, I'm going to tear them apart."
"Count me in, too, Nick," May stated, hefting her anchor. "I swear, I'm going to bean them good when we get our hands on them."
"Hey, what's that?" Eri gasped, pointing towards something on the floor just ahead of their current pathway.
May did the honors of jogging ahead to pick up what Eri had found, which appeared to be a blueprint of some kind depicting something that Hayes and Sebastian were building.
"Ladies, gentlemen, and spies aplenty, I believe we have found the trump card," May quipped.
"What exactly are they planning to do with this?" Clover wondered.
"I just hope it's not another stupid 'giant robot inside the giant robot' thing like the last time we fought Hayes," Alex groaned. "That thing was bad enough."
Footsteps alerted the spies, but they calmed down when they saw that it was just Britney and Nozomi, having returned from taking the injured Mat and Melissa back to W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters.
"How are they, Nozomi?" Nick immediately asked.
"They're doing as well as they probably could be, given the circumstances, but Jerry told us they'll both be out of commission for the rest of this mission," Nozomi explained.
"So I suggest we find those two scoundrels so we can hurt them some more," Britney stated.
"I couldn't agree more," a new voice proclaimed. The spies all turned around to see Sortiliena skidding to a stop in front of them. "I figured I'd tag in to help you guys while Mat and Melissa are recovering. They're as much my friends as they are yours, and I wanna get in on the lump delivering."
"Now you're talking my lingo, Sortiliena," Nick stated. "All right, everyone, let's move."
"I know, there's no LAMOS running amok," Sortiliena replied. "But I'm happy to substitute at any time!"
"Always appreciate the help, Liena," May grinned.
The spies then moved forward.
"And besides, that 'day off' with you seemed to make me feel refreshed after all," Sortiliena added.
"Happy to hear, Sortiliena," Alex quipped.
"Maybe we should have you over more often," Haruka told Sortiliena.
"I think I'd like that," Sortiliena replied. "I do need to do more than just help you on missions, after all."
"No argument there," Sam commented, realizing Sortiliena was usually only seen for subbing, and/or if the LAMOS were running loose.
"Do we need to bring you up to speed, Sortiliena?" Bridget asked.
"Not at all," Sortiliena answered. "Jerry and RiCO already told me everything, as did Mat and Melissa."
"Great to hear," Nick quipped.
"Plus, we'd like to have you over more, Liena," May added.
"No doubt about it," Haruka quipped.
"That was something that Mat did after your pirate dives, I admit," Sortiliena giggled to May.
"Yeah, you're not the one who had her feet tickled while being held by the ankles," May groaned.
"Well, one could also say your pirate dives were 'asking for trouble' in a sense," Bridget commented.
"And she does it, no questions asked, and no warning given," Nick added.
"That's the whole point!" May gasped in mock disbelief. "You're not supposed to know when they're coming!"
"Maybe Mat's lucky May didn't pirate dive on him yet," Clover commented.
"True," Bridget remarked, giving Clover that.
"But don't guarantee that'll stand for long," May stated as a fair warning.
Having released enough tension likely, the spies concentrated back on the mission at hand.
That was when Haruka's boot happened to step on something not normal to her.
"What's this?" Haruka wondered.
It turned out to be a CD that likely belonged to Sebastian Saga.
"Something tells me that's Sebastian's property," May commented.
"But only Jerry and RiCO can tell us if this is a remedy or another mind-washer," Sam quipped, taking the CD.
There was another crash later on that everyone heard.
"Great... another brawl," Nick groaned.
"Come on!" Sortiliena exclaimed.
Thankfully, it didn't take long to find the source of the brawl, and Nick could easily tell that the two people fighting had been brainwashed.
But before Nick could slip in and use a psychic pulse to break the brainwashing, the two people suddenly turned around and attacked him instead.
"H-Hey, what gives?!" Nick shouted as he continually dodged their attacks.
"We know what you did!" the guy shouted.
"Yeah, you're the one causing all of this!" the girl exclaimed.
"Um, are you two whacked in the head?!" May shouted.
"Oh, then you're just as bad as the rest!" the girl growled as she leaped to pounce on May.
"Hands off," Nick retorted as he placed himself in front of her and threw his arms out, unleashing a psychic pulse that drove the arguing couple backwards.
The couple got up, shook their heads a couple times, then walked back into their room like nothing had ever happened.
"This is getting weirder and weirder, isn't it?" Dawn quipped.
"Here's hoping that we can fix this before the hotel comes crashing down on our heads," Alex stated. "That wouldn't be fun."
"Any updates on that CD we found, RiCO?" Sam asked, flipping open her X-Powder.
"You were right on the money, Sam," RiCO responded. "The CD is another of Sebastian's hypnotizing tunes."
"And if he keeps using it, we're gonna have a major problem on our hands," Sortiliena stated. "Especially considering our team's down two members right now..."
Haruka suddenly had an idea, though. "Emi, you're a singer, so do you know if this place has a recording studio?" Haruka asked.
"It should, but how's that going to help our predicament?" Emi wondered.
"Wait, I'm getting a sense of déjà vu here," Clover quipped. "What have you got up your sleeves, Haruka?"
"Remember Nick and I's first official mission with all of you?" Haruka explained. "When Phil Jenkins hypnotized Sam with something similar to this? We found one of those hypno-CDs and flipped its frequency to break hypnosis. I figured, why not replicate that here?"
"That's brilliant, Haruka," Nick proclaimed. "I can't believe I didn't think of that before."
"To be fair, it's been a while since that mission," Haruka quipped.
"I'll lead the way, everyone," RiCO stated, the screen of Nick's X-Powder changing to show a map of the hotel and the quickest path to the recording studio.
When they found it, it didn't take long to get everything set up, with most of the spies taking a different instrument, and Haruka, Emi, and even May on vocals.
"All right, let's give these people a real show, shall we?" Nick proclaimed. "Hit it, RiCO!"
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the hotel, Both Sebastian and Captain Hayes were touring the chaos they had wrought, with so many people getting into fights with the local celebrities.
"This is pretty slick, honestly," Hayes admitted. "I gotta hand it to ya, you did a really cool thing by brainwashing all of these people."
"Yes, it is my talent, after all," Sebastian chuckled, strumming his new guitar. "And now that those wretches are down two members, it won't be much longer before we can proceed with the next phase of our plan, and..."
Sebastian's evil gloating was interrupted when a short burst of static came from the loudspeakers dotted around the area.
Then, music began to play, loud and booming so that everyone could hear it.
("Diamond City Lights" by Elira Pendora, Pomu Rainpuff and Finana Ryugu plays)
As the song played, Hayes was easily able to notice that all of the arguing people and celebrities began to stop arguing, some even swaying to the beat of the song that was being sung.
"Um, music dude, what's happening?!" Hayes shouted. "Everyone's snapping out of it, and that psychic brat isn't anywhere close to us!"
Sebastian was equally confused, until he remembered something that his old cohort Phil Jenkins had mentioned to him about a past scheme.
Now knowing that, he cursed his own carelessness as he and Hayes ran around the area, seeing that, as expected, everyone in the hotel that had been under his control was breaking out of it thanks to the spies' singing.
"Don't tell me you didn't plan for this!" Hayes shouted.
"I didn't think they'd try something like this!" Sebastian exclaimed.
When the song ended, Sebastian heard footsteps approaching them.
"Rules for villains, number one hundred and one: try to remember how another villain's scheme failed, because it could still happen to you," Haruka proclaimed as the spies, plus Eri and Emi, approached the two villains.
"You little wretches are going to pay for that!" Sebastian shouted.
"Oh, what, are you just mad that my mom's a better singer than you'll ever be?!" Eri shouted.
"What was that, little girl?!" Sebastian growled, attempting to advance on Eri only to be blasted backwards by a Final Shine Attack courtesy of Nick.
"Looks to me like you're just salty that you got verbally owned by a ten-year-old girl," Nick taunted. "That's kinda a new low for you, Sebastian."
"Make your lame jokes while you can, spies, because we have other plans in the works," Hayes quipped.
"Oh, we'll see about that," Sortiliena retorted, adopting a fighting stance as both villains approached them. "You can't really execute those plans if you're stuck in the containment facility with sore keesters, can you?"
Hayes attempted to lunge forward and attack Sortiliena, but he clearly wasn't a fighter, and for an ultra-experienced combat instructor like Sortiliena, it wasn't even a contest, as she effortlessly leg-sweeped Hayes off of his feet before grabbing him by the shirt collar and kicking him in the chest to send him tumbling back into Sebastian.
"You were saying, buddy?" Sortiliena taunted.
("Dynamite" by Taio Cruz plays)
"You're not too hard of an enemy to read," Nick commented. "Both of ya!"
Hearing that certainly irked Hayes and Sebastian.
"Our 'rules for villains' never fail and are never wrong either!" Haruka exclaimed.
"And believe us when we say you haven't answered to what you did to Melissa and Mat yet, too!" Sam added.
The two villains got up and shook their heads quickly.
"Oh, we do not plan to answer to that," Sebastian sneered.
Hayes sneered and nodded in agreement.
"Call that a prelude to your downfall," Hayes added.
"Yes... we plan to..." Sebastian started until he realized his extra breast pocket on his jacket was empty. "OH NO! MY SPARE CD IS MISSING!"
"Then I guess it's lucky that WE found it!" Bridget emphasized.
Sebastian growled at hearing that his backup plan had immediately failed before it could get off the ground.
"How ya gonna rebound from that?!" Haruka taunted.
"Well, he who runs away, tries again..." Hayes sneered.
He had a hidden remote in his jacket pocket and activated it. Both he and Sebastian fell through another trap door in the hotel. Again, the spies were aggravated to see that.
"Sebastian couldn't have expected anything different than what just happened," Nick stated.
"Hey, what the heck just happened?" one patron asked.
"Weren't we supposed to have some fun here?" Another added.
"Okay, all of you, no need to worry," Clover announced. "We have things under control, and you will enjoy your stays in peace."
"I hope so," a third patron replied. "I remember hearing this music and after that, it's a blur..."
"Well, you'll be safer in your own rooms," May told them.
"Yes, so we just ask you stay there until we give the 'all clear' sign," Sam requested.
The group of people complied.
"Any idea of a plan, Sammy?" Alex wondered.
"Still working on that," Sam answered.
"Hopefully that we're close to diffusing all the brawls going on," Sortiliena commented.
Just as she said that, they all heard a punch in a wall.
"And the madness continues..." Bridget groaned.
"Maybe some of us should try and find Hayes and Sebastian," Clover suggested.
"I was going to say that," Sam laughed.
"Okay, then, let's hit it," Britney emphasized.
"All right-y, then, so how are we gonna split up the team for this one?" Alex wondered.
Sam thought for a few seconds. "Okay, here's my plan," Sam proclaimed. "I'll take Alex, Clover, Britney, Blaine and Haruka to take care of the people who might still be fighting. Sortiliena, you lead the rest of the group and go find our villains before they try something else."
"Roger that!" Sortiliena responded, saluting to Sam.
With that in mind, Sam, Alex, Clover, Britney, Blaine and Haruka all headed off down the west hallway to defuse any conflicts they could find, which left Sortiliena to lead Nick, Bridget, May, Nozomi, and Dawn to go the other way and head off Sebastian and Hayes.
Eri and Emi decided to stay with Nick's team, knowing that he had the best chance of keeping them safe thanks to his powers.
The first team found the source of the argument pretty quickly, but this time a couple that hadn't been brainwashed was trying to defend themselves from a couple that clearly was.
"Okay, I just realized a problem," Blaine quipped.
"Don't worry, Blaine, I thought that far ahead," Haruka answered, flipping her X-Powder open. "I had RiCO save a copy of that song we sang to my X-Powder so we could un-hypnotize people if the baddies ever tried that again."
"Way to think on your feet," Clover chuckled.
As the fighting couple got closer to the spies, Haruka aimed her X-Powder for them, turned the volume up, and played the song from earlier. This caused the fighting couple to stop in their tracks, their eyes returning to normal before they looked around in confusion.
"Our work here is done," Alex stated. "Let's keep moving and see if anyone else needs our help."
"I really hope Mat's all right..." Sam sighed.
"Hey, remember, Sammy, he's a tough cookie," Britney responded. "I know that for a fact."
"Doesn't mean I'm not gonna worry, though..." Sam replied.
"Hey, it's a good thing you're worrying," Alex answered. "It's the sign that you're being a good fiancée."
"And besides, every other time he was hurt like this, he was fine by the time our next mission," Haruka noted. "And I don't think that streak's gonna be broken this time around, either."
Sam nodded, her worry dissipating, even if only for the moment.
Meanwhile, with the second team, they kept their eyes open for any possible sign of sneak attacks from Hayes, Sebastian, or their mooks.
"Where, oh where could you two be hiding?" May wondered, keeping a tight grasp on the handle of her anchor just in case she needed to swing for the fences. "Come on out so I can smack you one!"
"Any sign of them, Nick?" Nozomi asked.
"They're close, but I don't know if they know we're approaching them yet," Nick quipped.
Just then, Nick sensed malicious intent approaching them quickly. Acting fast, Nick jumped backwards over the rest of the group, landing near Eri so he could raise his right hand and project a psychic barrier that a trio of Hayes' mooks bounced off as they tried to lunge towards the group.
"Nice try, guys," Nick taunted as he threw out his hands to unleash a psychic pulse that sent the mooks flying backwards.
Another pair of mooks attempted to attack while all of this was happening, but Sortiliena jumped in and kicked both mooks away before jumping to avoid another mook, grabbing him by the wrist and judo-tossing him into the rest of the mooks.
May swung her anchor as an intimidation tactic, and this was enough to get the mooks to retreat.
"Yeah, I thought so," May quipped.
While they had a break in the action, Nick flipped open his X-Powder to call Mat and Melissa, hoping that they were doing okay.
Thankfully, they actually answered after a couple rings.
"I know this is probably an obvious question to be asking, but..." Nick started.
"You don't have to worry, Nick, we're doing fine," Melissa answered. Both Mat and Melissa were sitting in what appeared to be a hot tub, much like the first time Mat had been injured by the spies' rogues' gallery, and though her shoulder was wrapped up, she appeared fine otherwise. Mat was trying not to move his injured arm too much, but it didn't have a cast on it, which was a good sign. "We're just relaxing here until we're ready to come back."
"Jerry and the medical team looked at both of us, and thankfully our injuries weren't anything serious, but we're probably gonna be sidelined for the rest of this mission, just to be safe," Mat responded.
"Yeah, nobody knows what else those losers have up their sleeves," Dawn quipped.
"You lovebirds enjoy the alone time, okay?" May giggled.
"Oh, we've already got that covered," Melissa laughed as she cuddled with Mat. "Just sock those guys in the face a few times for us, got it?"
"That was always in the cards, sis," Nick stated. "We'll see you after this is all over."
The call ended just in time for Nick to pick up more malicious thoughts approaching them.
"Something wicked this way comes?" May asked.
"Something wicked times two," Nick answered just as Sebastian and Hayes made their appearance.
"Oh, I'd like to think we're more wicked than just times two," Sebastian taunted.
"How about we show you?" Hayes laughed.
Not giving the spies a chance to answer, Sebastian launched his metal hand like a grappling hook again, but Sortiliena countered by grabbing onto the hand, forcing Sebastian to pull it back. This brought Sortiliena towards them where she jumped into the air, landed on both villains' shoulders, and used her feet to slam them both into each other by their heads, dazing both of them long enough for Nick to blast them into the opposite wall with a Final Shine Attack.
"We've really had enough of your wickedness today, thank you very much," Dawn shot back.
"I'll call Sam and the others so they can join the party," Bridget stated as she flipped open her X-Powder to make the call.
"You're gonna be sorry for what you did!" Eri exclaimed.
"Then why don't your little friends come and make us?" Sebastian cackled.
Nick let his psychic aura explode to life around him.
"All right, then, we can arrange that," Nick growled.
"Don't say we didn't warn you," Sebastian sneered.
"Besides, your little troublemaking group is next," Hayes added. "And maybe we can turn the tides here..."
"Why?" Sortiliena proclaimed. "Sam already foiled Sebastian's spare CD part already..."
"Yes, but Hayes made me realize I have a backup..." Sebastian sneered again.
Before long, more mooks had surrounded the B team.
Nick was on the offense with his psychic powers, but other music started blaring to trip up this spy team. The mooks managed to trip up the spies rather easily.
"Hurry, guys!" May exclaimed as she equipped her Sensible Soundproof Earplug.
Everybody caught on and followed May's lead.
"I sure hope the others caught on after hearing that music," Bridget commented.
"No worries," Sortiliena quipped. "I already got the word to them."
"Let's just hope it was in time," Nozomi stated.
The spy team B managed to recover and continue the battle.
"Let's see if you can handle both of us!" Hayes shouted.
Bridget just grinned as she brought out her brooch. "Oh, I'd say we can," Bridget chuckled. "Sonic Mode, online!"
Before the light of her transformation had faded completely, Bridget was already on the move, blitzing back and forth to bowl over the mooks before lunging for Captain Hayes and knocking him into the air with an uppercut (resisting the urge to shout "SHORYUKEN" as she did so; there was a time and place for everything), then kicking him in the chest to send him tumbling.
Nozomi jump-kicked a pair of mooks away before ducking and weaving through laser blasts fired from Sebastian's metal hand so she could grab him by the shoulders and spin him around, leaving him wide open for Nick to blast the mad musician away with a Final Shine Attack.
"Gotta love it," Nozomi giggled as she and Nick high-fived each other.
"It's over now..." Hayes sneered at spy team B.
That was when shots were fired very close at the mooks and Sebastian and Captain Hayes, too.
"Oh, no it's not, 'Captain Hobo'!" Haruka shouted, which got everyone's attention.
"It's the others!" Nozomi exclaimed.
They were all equipped with the Sensible Soundproof Earplugs themselves.
"If 'Captain Hobo' is the best you can do, we should have no more problems with you..." Sebastian sneered.
The mooks cornered spy team B before Sam threw the Incendiary Earrings near them. They exploded before anybody could try kick them out of the way.
"Wanna bet on that?" Alex proclaimed.
"Your butts are all ours now!" Britney added.
"Try us," Sebastian cackled.
Haruka responded by leapfrogging off of Nick's shoulders so she could jump towards Sebastian and kick him in the back, allowing Alex to run forward and soccer kick Hayes in the chest, causing both villains to collide with each other
May continued the attack by throwing her anchor like a javelin towards the two villains, and even though they dodged it, Nick used his psychic powers to 'catch' the anchor and guide it right back into both villains, sending them crashing to the ground.
"This is incredibly satisfying," May chuckled.
"It usually is, beating down on baddies who don't know their place," Nick quipped as he and May both advanced on Sebastian and Hayes.
8:59 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters
Back at W.O.O.H.P., Mat and Melissa were enjoying the heart-shaped hot tub again after W.O.O.H.P. served some hospital-like dinner for them.
"How's your arm coming, Mat?" Melissa wondered as they sat down.
"Still the same," Mat chuckled. "But when it feels weak, it feels weak!"
"I guess I got lucky that I didn't get stabbed in my dominant shoulder," Melissa quipped, glancing at the wrapped part of her shoulder. "Though I'm sure Nick is giving the baddies their just desserts for that."
Before long, Melissa scooted towards Mat.
"I wish we could still help them out," Mat commented.
Upon hearing that, Melissa hummed. "I get you, Mat," Melissa answered. "I wish that we could help, too, but sometimes, maybe all you need is a little time to... let loose."
She then started to get cuddly with Mat; he caved in once Melissa started to kiss him.
"At least we get some alone time," Melissa giggled.
"Can't argue with that," Mat chuckled.
RiCO had originally planned to materialize in the area to give Mat and Melissa an update on what was happening at the hotel, but when she noticed the two of them cuddling, kissing, and generally whispering sweet nothings to each other, she decided instead to go find Jerry and let the couple have their moment.
9:03 P.M. – Into the Night Hotel
"Didn't think they'd chicken out so easily," Clover quipped as the spies continued their search for Captain Hayes and Sebastian, occasionally stopping to un-hypnotize a fighting pair or stomp on some mooks.
"It does kinda feel like we're that much closer to pulling the thread and unraveling this dumb scheme of theirs," Emi proclaimed.
"That's usually how this whole runaround goes," Sam admitted. "Their plan B is usually the last thing we end up fighting before we finally capture them."
"Because you all are unstoppable, right?" Eri laughed.
"Precisely, Eri," May giggled. "And despite what you saw earlier, stuff like that never really keeps us down for long. W.O.O.H.P.'s got some of the best medical technology in the world, so I wouldn't be surprised if Mat and Melissa are pretty much back to full strength by the time our next mission gets underway."
"Speaking of which," Nick responded, flipping open his X-Powder to call Mat and Melissa, only to see RiCO on the screen instead. "Is... everything okay, RiCO?"
"Perfectly," RiCO answered. "Mat and Melissa were just having a moment to themselves, and I didn't wanna be a moment-killer."
"I feel ya on that one," Nozomi chuckled. "I couldn't even begin to count all the times that someone interrupted Nick and I having a moment in middle school..."
"Wasn't one of 'em that kid in our foreign language class who was supremely jealous of us for some reason?" Nick responded. "He always tried to needle in on our moments."
"Yeah, that's the one!" Nozomi laughed. "He actually tried to butt in on us during karate practice that one time, remember? I tried to kiss you and he literally put himself between us?"
"And you judo-flipped him to the mat for that?" Nick quipped. "Ah, that was satisfying to watch, honestly."
"I just figured I'd let you know that their recovery is going swimmingly, so you don't have to worry about them while you're out searching for your resident baddies," RiCO answered. "Just make sure you kick their butts extra hard, 'kay?"
"Trust me, RiCO, that was always the plan," Dawn stated.
Just then, a loud explosion could be heard from somewhere nearby.
"Oh, that doesn't sound too good," Sam noted.
"Well, then, let's go and see what nonsense they're cooking up this time," Clover responded.
The spies all headed in the direction of the explosion, but when they got closer to what they thought was the source, Nick raised his hand to signal everybody to stop.
"Emi, to your right!" Nick shouted. Emi listened and jumped backwards just as a large metal claw rocketed out from behind the opposite wall and attempted to capture Emi. Nick fired a Final Shine Attack to destroy the claw before aiming his right hand towards where he'd sensed the villains. "All right, you two, get out here right now."
("I Believe" by Lyn Inaizumi plays)
"Well, if you insist," Sebastian laughed as he and Hayes made their presence known. Hayes was equipped with a strange pair of metal claws, and Sebastian was strumming a custom guitar that looked like it was loaded with weapons.
"Well, well, spies, it looks like it's time for the beginning of our final performance," Sebastian chuckled.
"Hope you enjoy it while it lasts!" Hayes proclaimed.
Sebastian played a power chord on his guitar, and it unleashed a booming sound wave that pushed the spies backwards. Sebastian continued to play more chords to keep the spies from getting any closer.
"Um, yeah, how about no?!" Alex shouted, whipping out a Sonic Disintegrator Boombox and playing it, the sound waves pushing back against Sebastian's and canceling both out.
This gave Nick the perfect vantage point to blast Sebastian with a Final Shine Attack while he was trying to re-calibrate the guitar. As Sebastian went reeling back, Hayes stepped up, slashing his claws forward and firing what appeared to be large, spherical gumballs.
Having seen this trick many times before, Haruka stepped up and started firing her Electromagnetic Curling Iron to vaporize the gumbombs before they could explode and trap anybody. Sam followed up by hitting Hayes with a shot from her Cyclone Blast Hairdryer.
"Now you're gonna get it for hurting my fiancée, buddy," Sam growled.
"Oh, why the uncharacteristic anger, my dear?" Hayes quipped. "It's not like I killed him, you know. I could have done far worse to him..."
"And that's why we're just giving you a normal beating instead of sending you back to the containment facility in a body cast," Sam retorted. "Unless you'd rather deal with Nick, and I don't think he'll be that merciful with you, considering what you did to his sister..."
"I-I'm not the one who stabbed him!" Hayes sputtered, trying to find some way out of this. "Blame my partner for that one!"
"Does it really look like I care, Captain Cluck?!" Nick shouted. "You're both a part of this, so you both share the blame."
Nick snapped his right hand out to catch Hayes in his psychic grip, then swung him around the area, making him 'dance' for a short time, before spinning around and tossing Hayes right into Sebastian.
"Get off, you goofball, and focus your attention on them!" Sebastian shouted.
"Hey, what do you expect me to do against a psychic?!" Hayes retorted.
"That's what we have our secret weapon for," Sebastian quipped as both villains picked themselves up. "Sorry, everyone, but we must make preparations for the final act."
"Trust us, it'll be worth the wait," Hayes chuckled as he and Sebastian made a retreat.
"That's... expected," May sighed.
"That can only mean it's time to end this waffling," Nick responded. "RiCO, any idea where they're heading?"
"It appears they're heading for the roof of the hotel," RiCO answered. "If I remember the last time you all had to deal with Hayes in a hotel, I'd probably hurry up there."
"Yeah, good idea," Alex replied as the spies all ran down the hallway, following RiCO's signal so they could find the quickest way to the hotel rooftop and stop whatever nightmare that Hayes and Sebastian had lying in wait for them.

Next time...
Sam: All right, you jerks, there's nowhere left for you to run!
Dawn: Why don't you just give it up now and we'll spare you some face punches?
Sebastian: Oh, but my dear, you should know by now that we will accept no such surrender.
Nozomi: Eh, it was worth a shot.
Hayes: And besides, it's time for the final performance! We can't keep our lovely fans waiting!
Bridget: What fans?! And waiting for what?!
Sebastian: Why, you, of course, and you're waiting for death!
May: ...oh, why did I freakin' call it?!
Nick: Well, readers, you'll see what exactly our baddies brought to attack us with next time on the final act of Totally Spies: Melee on Vacay, "The Captain's Final Waltz"!
Melissa: Hey, have you seen this behind-the-scenes footage yet? It cracks me up.
Mat: Hayes may be a villain, but at least he can dance. That's a first.
