Last time Serenity shut down at Tristan's loss to Nesbitt. Duke tried to take down the machine-obsessed man, but he could not overcome Perfect Machine King. Just when all seemed lost, Joey showed up, and with her older brother's encouragement, backed with a bit of help from her and Duke's Deck Masters, cards Tristan left behind, and Lucario's ability to sense what Tristan left behind, they were able to win. Nesbitt stole Tristan's body, however. Now they need to find where the Big 5 keeps Tristan's mind.
Gladion's Duel: Final Member of the Big 5 Part 1
Tristan climbed up through a trap door. "Where am I?" He wondered. "It looks like some warehouse. But... wasn't I just in a duel? And why is everything so gigantic? I better find my way back to the others and..." Tristan looked to his right and almost freaked. A robot monkey was staring right at him. "Aww, it's just a little robot monkey... excuse me, a huge robot monkey, it's almost my size." Tristan waved to the robot monkey, and the robot monkey mimicked him. "How cute, it's almost like it's copying me..." Tristan looked down at his hands.
They were small and metal, with three fingers and a thumb.
"OH NO, THEY MADE A MONKEY OUT OF ME!" Tristan screamed, but it only came out as monkey squeaks.
Ash, Pikachu, Lucario, Lillie, Snowy, Gladion, Yugi, Tea, Joey, Serenity, and Duke found themselves in a warehouse district of a town that looked like Domino. Still, they knew it was just part of Noah's virtual world.
"I'm worried about Tristan, guys," Serenity said.
"Don't worry, Serenity. We'll find him," Yugi assured her.
"We have to," Joey added. "Before one of those Big-5 creeps can use his body to escape to the real world."
Ash turned to his Aura Pokémon. "Lucario, any sign of Tristan?"
"Yes, Master, but he is moving fast towards three other signatures."
"3 signatures," Tea asked, confused.
"I am afraid Nesbitt has already taken control of Tristan's body," Ash responded sadly.
Yugi's eyes widened. "Then the other two signatures must be"
"Kaiba and Mokuba," Tea finished, worried for the brothers as they had no clue about Tristan's sacrifice.
"We have to hurry then," said Gladion. The eight humans and three Pokémon rushed ahead, Lucario leading the way.
Kaiba and Mokuba had just arrived in the warehouse area. They were unaware that somebody was following them.
"Hello, Kaiba!" Kaiba looked up and saw Tristan staring down at him, carrying a bokken (wooden sword). But there was something strange about his eyes; they had an almost sinister look.
"Hey Tristan," Mokuba called. "Have you seen Yugi or any of the others?"
'Tristan' chuckled. He leaped down from the building he was standing on and swung at Mokuba with his wooden sword. Kaiba pushed Mokuba out of the way.
"Tristan, what's the matter with you?" Kaiba asked as he avoided 'Tristan's' onslaught.
"I'm not Tristan," came the reply. "And I'm looking for revenge!" He swung his bokken at Kaiba, only for the strike to be interrupted by a shield held by a white duck with a leek that looked like a long sword.
"What the" began a confused Mokuba.
"Kaiba, Mokuba." The Kaiba brothers turned and saw Yugi, along with everyone else, plus the kids from the TV screen of Johnson's duel. The duck jumped backward after 'Tristan' was repelled away from the two brothers landing in front of the boy with a mouse on his shoulder and what Seto thought was a Jackal/Dog hybrid.
"Nice try, creeps," Ash commented to 'Tristan' who scowled. "You may look like Tristan, but your aura proves otherwise. Now do us a favor had over the body, and we can kick your final co-worker's butt, deal with your boss and his two Rocket agents, and then me, my future wife," (Lillie blushed at this.) "and future brother-in-law can go home."
Kaiba raised his eyebrows at this. He looks to be about my age, and he's engaged. Just what are those creatures? They aren't duel monsters. Unless Pegasus has been making new cards? Could this kid be related to him? And what does he mean by Rocket Agents? Could he mean those two girls from the duel that hack Wheeler had with Johnson?
"I've seen enough," grumbled Joey, racing forward.
"Wait! Come back!" Duke called after him.
Nesbitt had managed to get his hands around the monkey. He pulled back and threw it into a wall. Then he turned to retry his attack against Ash.
Joey got to him first. "This is getting too weird!" he yelled as he charged Nesbitt, throwing him through the boarded-up doors of the abandoned garage.
"Joey! It's still Tristan's body!" scolded Téa, giving him the ever-famous what-an-idiot look. Serenity nodded in agreement and gave her brother a stern look before following Téa into the garage. "Hello?" A pair of bright headlights responded to her.
"Pardon me!" snapped Nesbitt, charging out of the garage on a green motorcycle he had found. Téa and Serenity screamed and hurried out of the way to avoid being flattened.
"SETO!" cried Mokuba, noticing his older brother was right in the vehicle's path.
Kaiba dodged the incoming vehicle quickly, but Nesbit was no longer targeting him. The weapons maker charged past Kaiba, turned, and swept Mokuba off the street.
"Help!" cried Mokuba as he struggled against his newest captor. Gladion was not going to let Nesbitt get away so quickly.
"Silvally, come out and use Air Slash on the tires of that motorcycle."
Gladion's ace Pokémon appeared and fired its attack; unfortunately, it missed. Gladion jumped onto Silvally's back. "After him," he ordered. Silvally was off chasing after Nesbitt and his captive.
"Kaiba! I have taken something from you, so we're even now!" Nesbitt called back as he tore down the shipping docks.
"Come back right now!" growled Kaiba furiously.
"Too late! He's gone!" exclaimed Joey.
"That scumbag!" exclaimed Ash angrily. "Mokuba is just a kid!"
"No!" cried Téa.
"Mokuba!" called Yugi.
The group hurried after Nesbitt on foot. But he had broken through a road-out sign, jumped several feet, and was speeding away down a long, underground tunnel.
"We lost him," said Lillie sadly.
The sound of a bike revving behind them caused them to turn around. Then, they all had to jump to the side as Kaiba passed them on a bike he had found in the garage. He made the long jump down the loading dock and disappeared out of sight in the dark tunnel in hot pursuit of his brother's kidnapper. Gladion on top of Silvally following suit.
Lillie was about to run to the garage to look for something to go after Nesbitt, but Ash stopped her. "Lillie, I know you want to help, but Nezbitt's dueling style differs from Crump's. Crump was toying with you. Nesbitt took no prisoners. You would lose your body if you were to duel him. Besides, you know Gladion can take care of himself."
Lillie sighed, knowing Ash was right. Snowy jumped into her mother's arms which helped Lillie calm down.
"What now, guys?" asked Yugi after a few moments of silence after Ash returned Sirfetch'd to its Pokeball.
"Kaiba is after the fake Tristan, so we have to find out where the real one is," said Joe.
"Right," Serenity agreed with determination.
"That's easy. Tristan is right there," said Lucario pointing to the robot monkey.
Everyone else's eyes widened. Tea slowly approached the robot. "Tristan, is that really you?" The monkey nodded and chirped in an affirmative matter.
Joey turned to Ash. "You know, if it weren't for you and Lucario, I would probably have thought Tristan was a robot spy sent by Noah." Duke nodded as if saying he would have thought the same thing. This angered Tristan, who would have attacked Joey and Duke, but Serenity stopped him by hugging him, saying she was glad Tristan was okay. This calmed Tristan down.
Ash then pulled out his Rotom phone. "I think we should warn everyone that one of the Big 5 has a body." Yugi and Tea's eyes widened, which Joey, Serenity, Duke, and Monkey Tristan noticed.
"Hey, Yug, what's wrong," asked Joey confused at his and Tea's reaction.
Yugi explained how Lusamine reacted when she learned about how Lillie almost lost her body to Crump. Joey understood the situation. "Yep, now I can believe why you and Tea are nervous.
"No kidding," commented Duke. "Going on a swearing rant for 20 minutes straight. That's scary." Serenity and Monkey Tristan nodded in agreement.
After five minutes of waiting, Lusamine picked up. "Ash, I assume you're calling with an update on the situation regarding the Big 5." Ash nodded his head. "Good, and where's Lillie?"
Lillie's face came onto the screen. "I'm here, mother."
"LILLIE, SWEETIE, HOW ARE YOU FEELING? YOU AREN'T STILL FEELING THE EFFECTS OF THE FREEZING COLD BECAUSE OF THAT DUEL, ARE YOU," Lusamine asked her daughter.
Lillie shook her head. "I am no longer feeling the effects of the duel. No need to worry, mother."
In the background, Dawn commented. "Whenever someone besides me says that is when I worry the most." This drew chuckles from Ash, Brock, and Pikachu. Lillie looked towards Ash, tilting her head in confusion. Ash explained the irony of what Dawn had just said, causing Lillie to giggle, with Tea and Serenity joining in.
Lusamine noticed the new faces: Joey, Serenity, and Duke, and Lusamine blinked. 'Is that a robot monkey?' She thought, confused.
Lusamine shook her head. "Ash Lillie why is there a robot monkey with you?"
Ash explained how the fourth Member of the Big 5 who had challenged Tristan, Serenity, and Duke to a 3-on-1 duel, attacking Serenity constantly and that Tristan (who Lusamine and Ash's companions learned that he had been turned into that following his sacrifice to protect Serenity.) Ash also explained that Nesbitt was a weapons maker.
Hearing this, Lusamine shifted from concerned mother mode into the President of Aether Paradise. "Ultra Guardians." Kiawe, Mallow, Lana, and Sophocles all stood ready in the position of attention. "I want all four of you ready to defend Alola at a moment's notice."
All four teenagers nodded with a "YES, MA'AM." With that, the four left to get their Pokémon healed to be ready at a moment's notice.
Lusamine turned to her subordinates and Professor Kukui. "Burnett, Wicke, Kukui, I want the three of you to inform the Kahunas what is going on. I want defenses of Alola to be at full strength. Burnett, Kukui, and Wicke left to do just that.
Joey whistled, "Dang, she's taking no chances."
Yami appeared next to Yugi. "She may be an overprotective mother, but she knows how dangerous a weapons maker like Nesbitt can be." Yugi nodded in agreement.
Lusamine turned back to Ash. "By the way, where is Gladion?" At this simple question, everyone braced themselves for a potential rant. Ash explained how Nezbitt kidnapped Mokuba and that Kaiba and Gladion went after him.
Lusamine's eyes were burning with anger. "He kidnapped a child because his former employer shut down his weapon-making factory." Ash nodded. Serenity covered Tristan's ears. Snowy, Pikachu, and Lucario did the same thing, bracing themselves for the rant they knew were coming.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT B ***? FIRST, THEY TARGET MY SWEET PRECIOUS BABY GIRL, NEARLY CAUSING HER TO FREEZE TO DEATH. THEN GO AFTER ANOTHER GIRL WHO NEVER PLAYED THIS DUEL MONSTERS GAME BEFORE AS WELL. AND EVEN THOUGH THEY WON A BODY VIA B*** TACTICS, THEY KIDNAPPED A YOUNG BOY. IF THESE CREEPS THINK HE CAN CONQUER THE MULTIVERSE, THEY HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING, AND NOW MY SON WILL HAVE TO FIGHT FOR HIS LIFE ON TOP OF IT. FABA IS SO DEAD WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON HIM." Lusamine took a deep breath. Everyone was relieved she was done. "Ash Lillie, please find a way to help Gladion. I need to oversee Alola's defense. With that, Lusamine hung up.
"Okay, now that Alola is informed, how can we catch up to Gladion and Kaiba, "Ash asked everyone.
Pikapi Pika pika chu (Ash this can help.) Everyone came overseeing a pick-up truck.
Lillie patted Pikachu on the head. "Nice job Pikachu." Now let's go help my brother."
Speaking of Gladion, he and Kaiba were still chasing Nesbitt. Kaiba pushed the motorcycle's accelerator as he emerged from the tunnel onto a very long bridge, Silvally right beside him. Hold on, Mokuba, I'll save you, Kaiba thought.
Halfway across the bridge, Kaiba and Gladion both saw a missing piece. Kaiba revved the motorcycle as fast as it would go and sped up. He leaped across the gap. Silvally was jumping alongside the motorcycle.
A man was in the middle of the road. He wore a trench coat and sunglasses with a cloth wrapped around his mouth. He was also wearing a Duel Disk. "Get out of my way!" Kaiba had to leap off the motorcycle to avoid crashing into him. Instead, the motorcycle spun out of control, crashed, and exploded. Fortunately, Kaiba landed safely. "Out of my way," Kaiba said again. Silvally jumped safely away from the man. Gladion glared at the man as he jumped off his partner.
"If you ever want to see your brother again, you'll have to make it past me!"
"Who the heck are you," Gladion demanded, but he was ignored.
Nesbitt thought he was home free with Mokuba still unconscious. Suddenly Noah, Annie, and Oakley appeared, and Nesbitt had to skid to a halt. "Just what do you think you're doing, Nesbitt?" Noah asked.
"Seto Kaiba took everything from me, so this is payback."
"That wasn't part of the deal," Noah said.
"The deal was Noah would deal with Seto while you take care of his friends. Hand him over, Nesbitt," Annie demanded.
"But..."
"Hand. Him. Over," Oakley said, accenting each word.
Nesbitt grumbled and handed Mokuba over to Noah and the Rocket agents.
"I've been waiting to take you down for a long time, Mister Kaiba."
"I'm sorry. Do I know you?" Kaiba asked harshly.
"Don't tell me you've forgotten after all we've been through."
"I don't know what business you have with this guy," Gladion said, pointing to Kaiba, who grunted. "But taking a kid is low."
"I don't care what you think, Mr. Aether. You may have been the runner-up in the Alolan League." Kaiba raised his eyebrows, 'Alolan League,' he thought, somewhat intrigued. "You are a novice when it comes to Duel Monsters. Taking your body and Mr. Kaiba's body will be simple."
Mokuba moaned and opened his eyes. He was in a living room, but no walls could be seen. Just a couch, a lamp, and a big-screen television.
"Finally awake, are we?" Mokuba turned and saw Noah sitting at the other end of the couch. Annie and Oakley were sitting on a second couch with a purple cat with a red jewel on its forehead sitting next to Annie. Sitting next to Oakley was a red arachnid. It had purple eyes, white mandibles, and a white horn on its forehead. Around its abdomen were two black stripes, with two black spots and a yellow spinneret on its rear. The spots and spinneret together form a pattern similar to a face.
"Noah?" Mokuba shoved back until he was almost at the corner of the couch. "Stay away from me!"
"Mokuba, you should be thanking me," Noah pointed out. "You would've been in the Big 5's clutches if we hadn't rescued you."
"Just wait till my Big Brother comes to rescue me."
"Seto won't be rescuing you any time soon," Annie said.
"No, that can't be. He would never let anything bad happen to me."
"Perhaps you're right, but unfortunately..." Oakley clicked a remote, which showed Kaiba and the masked man on the bridge. "As you can see, your brother and his new acquaintance have their hands full right now."
"Do you know who you're dealing with?" The masked man asked.
"Actually, I think I do," Kaiba said. "It took me a little bit, but I thought I recognized your voice, Lector." Kaiba activated his Duel Disk. "Let's get this duel over with."
"Fine," Lector said, waving his hand. A duel disk appeared on Gladion's arm Cards began scrolling up in front of Kaiba and Gladion. "First, choose your deck from Noah's card database." Kaiba and Gladion chose their decks, and soon both were ready to start.
"You're going to regret getting in my way, Lector," said an annoyed Kaiba.
"I don't think so, Mister Kaiba. I will defeat you and Mister Aether, then both KaibaCorp and The Aether Paradise will belong to the Big 5," Lector said. "Now choose your Deck Masters."
Kaiba was unfazed. "My Deck Master will be Lord of Dragons" A human wearing a dragon skeleton for armor appeared.
Gladion was also unfazed. "My deck master will be Buster Blader." A sword-wielding monster with blue, gold and grey armor appeared next to Gladion.
"You want to know what my Deck Master is?"
"No, and frankly, I don't care. I'll crush you anyway."
Gladion nodded, agreeing with Kaiba.
"Time to duel," all three said at the same time.

"Don't expect any courtesy from me," said Lector as he drew a card.
Kaiba replied with a long glare.
"I'll start this duel by playing a monster in defense mode," announced Lector. "Then, I set these two cards facedown. Your move Mr. Aether."
Gladion nodded a drew his first card. I should start defensively to learn this guy's strategy. "I also set a monster in defense mode and end my turn."
"Fine then, it's up to me to show you both how this game is played," said Seto in a pompous manner. "I'll summon Spear Dragon in attack mode!" A blue-green dragon formed right in front of him. Spear Dragon (1900/0) "This dragon will be more than capable of wiping out any monster you have played."
"You're so confidant, aren't you, Mr. Kaiba?" asked Lector arrogantly. "Then go ahead and attack me. My monster is in defense mode. My life points are well protected."
"Wrong," said Gladion getting a raised look from Kaiba. "His Spear Dragon can deal piercing damage if it destroys a monster in defense mode." (1900/0)
"WHAT?" shouted a shocked Lector.
"Well, someone has done his homework," thought Kaiba. But knowing the rules and playing the game are two different things. "Spear Dragon, attack his face-down monster now!"
The Spear Dragon leaped into the air and nose-dived the face-down card hologram. A bright flash of light and a monster formed before breaking into data.
"Ha! You just attacked Hiro's Shadow Scout and activated its special ability!" exclaimed Lector.
Hiro's Shadow Scout (650/500)
"Hiro's Shadow Scout," Kaiba asked.
"Yes, you must both draw three cards from your decks and show them to me," explained Lector. Kaiba and Gladion did so without a word. "Now you have to discard the two magic cards you drew, Mr. Kaiba, while Mr. Aether does the same with the magic card he drew. " Kaiba and Gladion slid their respective into the graveyard. Lector laughed.
"True, but you take damage," said Gladion as Lector lost 1400 life points.

"I set this card face down, and that will end my turn," said Seto Kaiba as a card hologram appeared behind his dragon.
"Then I'll activate Solemn Wishes before I start my turn," announced Lector, flipping up one of his cards. "This card will give me 500 life points at the start of my turn. So, I draw a card, and that official starts my turn, increasing my life points." That gave him 3100 life points, recovering some of what he lost.
"Terrific," Gladion thought bitterly. That's an annoyance, but if I draw a particular monster I chose for this duel, his strategy is sunk.
"Enjoy it while you can," thought Seto venomously. Because your next turn will be your last, and then you will all pay for taking my little brother.
"I play one monster face down and end my turn," said Lector, setting one card on top of his duel disk.
Strange, he must see that Kaiba's Spear Dragon was switched to defense mode after it attacked and that it has 0 def points, but why didn't he attack it? Gladion asked himself as he drew his card.
"Is there a problem, Mr. Aether?" asked Lector while Gladion tried to figure out Lector's strategy. "Because I'd appreciate it if you would make your move so I can defeat you and take over one of your bodies."
"In your dreams," retorted Gladion. "I set one card facedown and end my turn."
Kaiba drew his next card. "I summon Giant Germ to the field!" His newest monster looked like a hairball, but not in the cute Kuriboh way. The fuzz was spotty, a beneath it, sick violet skin showed through. The skin was transparent, and a nucleus could be seen inside. Its stats were 1000 and 100. "Then I switch my Spear Dragon back to attack mode."
"I activate my trap card, Mask of Perplexity," declared Lector.
Kaiba gasped as a brownish haze covered his eyes. "What is this?! I can hardly see!" he cried.
Gladion's eyes widened. "What is that thing?"
Lector merely laughed.
"That's not fair!" protested Mokuba from his seat. He leaped to his feet, fist clenched, glaring at the screen that was showing the duel.
"This is finally a duel worth watching," Noah said, smirking. Annie and Oakley chuckled, enjoying the show.
"Time to make your attack, Mr. Kaiba, but I doubt you can see what you're doing," said Lector, thoroughly enjoying his opponent's confusion.
"Spear Dragon," Kaiba started, but there was a slight waver in his voice. He pointed to a distorted shape on the field. "Attack that card!"
The Spear Dragon once again took to the sky and attacked the monster card Kaiba was pointing at. In a flash of light, his own Giant Germ vanished. The haze vanished from Seto's eyes.
"Ha! You destroyed your own monster!"
"That's what I was aiming for, you foolish old man!" replied Kaiba, wiping his eyes to be sure the haze was gone. Gladion raised his eyebrows. He wanted Giant germ to be destroyed. Why? Gladion soon got his answer "Because now I can activate my face-down card! Reveal Crush Card," Kaiba shouted.
His viral trap card flipped over, ready to decimate the bulk of Lector's deck. There was a small explosion. The Crush Card vanished from the field.
"What happened?!" demanded Kaiba.
Lector replied with a chuckle.
Kaiba looked at the field like the expert duelist he was and noticed none of Lector's face-down cards had moved. "How can this be?! Do you have the power to destroy trap cards?" Seto's blue eyes went wide. "Now I know what monster you are, Lector! The only monster I know with the power to destroy trap cards. Jinzo!"
Gladion was annoyed. "Of course, the final member would choose the hardest Deck Master so far."
Lector threw off the trench coat he had been wearing and the hat with it. The silver gas mask was actually part of his face.

"I should've known, " Kaiba grumbled. "I should have recognized that monster's face from the times that hack Wheeler used it.
Gladion eyebrows rose. "Okay, there's a history between this guy and Joey."
"With Jinzo as my Deck Master, you can't use any of your trap cards! I know you, Mr. Kaiba, and I knew you would rely on that Crush Card trap. As Gozaburo's right-hand man, I not only helped run KaibaCorp., but I helped raise you and your worthless brother. But when you disgraced Gozaburo, you took away everything I worked so hard to achieve. I was next in line to run Kaiba Corp., but you weaseled your way up to the top. But part of that blame should rest on Gozaburo because he gave you the opportunity on your fourteenth birthday."
"That's very young," Gladion muttered.
On your birthday, Gozaburo called both of you into the dining room. "Seto," he said. "Today, your formal training ends. It's time for you to start learning lessons in the real world."
"What do you mean?"
"Hobson, bring in the boy's 'gift.'"
Your eyes lit up upon seeing the ten million dollars that were your gift. "Is this for me?"
"Now, you should know that everything comes with a price. In a year's time, you must use that ten million to pay me back ten times that amount. Lector, give the boy the contract."
"Yes, sir."
"This contract states what I just told you. If you can pay me ten times that amount in a year, you earn the right to call yourself a Kaiba. But fail, and it's back to the Orphanage for both of you."
"I accept your terms."
"My assistant Lector will be on hand to help you out. He'll be the only one allowed. Seek help from anywhere else, and you automatically fail."
"As I told you before, I never fail!"
"Mister Kaiba, you surprised me by jumping into the task. I listened in as you set out 100 Duel Monster cards, half face-up and half face-down."
"How are you going to do it, Seto? I mean, turning ten million into a hundred million seems impossible."
"Nothing's impossible, Mokuba. This is just like another game."
"How so?"
"Like a game, it has rules and goals, and you must find the best way to achieve that goal using those rules."
"But how are you going to do it?"
"I'll show you. Now let's say these one hundred Duel Monster cards represent the pieces of a company. The trick is to own more pieces than your opponent, or in this case, have more cards."
"So, how many cards do you need?"
"The magic number is 51," you said, turning over one of the face-down cards. "Nobody can say they have more than you when you own 51 out of 100. Lector, take the ten million and buy 51 of a company."
"Which company?"
"Any company, just so long as they value their workers."
Gladion's eyes widened. "No, you didn't, he thought with horror about how Kaiba got the money."
"Gozaburo ordered me to assist you, and I wasn't about to disobey him. So I found a worthless company and immediately brought 51 of it, just like you said."
"Sir, I found a company that might fit what you're looking for."
"The Faye Company, huh? According to this readout, they don't make a whole lot of money, but they might give me all the money I need."
"How will you convince them to give you the money, Seto?"
"Simple, Mokuba, by making their president run things my way."
"The three of us paid a little visit to The Faye Company. Naturally, the President was slightly upset when you made him an offer."
"I can't believe what I'm hearing! You want me to buy back my own company for ten times the amount you paid for it?"
"I'd say my offer is pretty generous.
"This is blackmail!"
"No, this is business. Now, if you don't care about whether or not your employees work..."
"No, no, wait, I'll do it. I'll pay you what you want."
"You did," Gladion spat bitterly. He had a hunch that Seto and his adoptive father had issues but to blackmail and bully another company like that was just wrong in his mind.
"You got all the credit for that business transaction."
"Well, of course, I did," Kaiba said like it was a stupid comment. "It was my idea. You just followed orders. That's why you could never run KaibaCorp."
"That goes double for Aether Paradise. I may be the older sibling, but Lillie would probably be a better fit to run it as she understands and loves Pokémon even more than I do," Gladion said, not afraid to admit that Lillie was better at something.
"Oh, I will be running KaibaCorp., after I acquire your body. As for your sister Mr. Aether she got fortunate with keeping her body. Had it been anyone besides Crump, your sister's mind would have been trapped here," Lector said arrogantly.
Kaiba chuckled, "You're giving the penguin-obsessed freak too much credit, Lector. He couldn't even beat a novice. I'm sure she had a strategy, given how her brother here is doing with little to no experience. But let's get back to the duel by destroying my Giant Germ. You activated its effect, allowing me to summon another one in its place." A second Giant Germ appeared next to his Spear Dragon.
"You're just delaying the inevitable, Mr. Kaiba. With Jinzo as my Deck Master, all your trap cards are useless. One-third of your decks have been neutralized, and nobody can win a duel on monsters alone."
"I won't lose," Kaiba declared stubbornly.
"Neither will I," Gladion said.
"It's now my move, and I gain 500 life points because of Solemn Wishes."

"I place two cards face-down and end my turn."
Gladion drew his card. "My trap is useless, with his Deck Master being Jinzo." He thought he saw he pulled a Block Attack magic card. "I place this card facedown and end my turn.
Kaiba drew a card. "Spear Dragon, attack his face-down card with Cyclone Burst!" This time, Lector's face-down monster was revealed to be Cyber Jar (900/900)
"You flipped over my Cyber Jar, which destroys all monsters on the field." Kaiba's Spear Dragon and Giant Germ were destroyed along with Cyber Jar and Gladion's The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave. (1300/2000) "Next, we must each pick up five cards, and special summon any monsters with four stars or lower."
"Fine, I'll summon Vorse Raider (1900/1200) and Twin-Headed Behemoth (1500/1200)."
Gladion drew his five cards. I set three monsters in defense mode and summoned Luster Dragon in attack mode. (1900/1600)
"And I'll summon my Injection, Fairy Lily, in attack mode," Lector declared. Injection Fairy Lily was a woman with pink hair and wings riding on a giant hypodermic needle. Lector still lost life points from Spear Dragon's effect. IFL (400/1500)

"Now I activate two copies of the magic card Watch Tranquilizer." 2 watches appeared on Lector's wrists. "Watch Tranquilizer drains a monster of attack points equal to one hundred times its level." Lector's Injection Fairy Lily is still weaker, Kaiba thought.

"I set a monster in defense mode and end my turn."Lector finished.
Gladion drew a card and smiled. "Perfect, once I get the monster I need to get to stop his traps, this dragon can help me wipe him out," Gladdion thought. "I play monster reborn to receive my The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave in defense mode and end my turn."
Kaiba drew a card and stared at Injection Fairy Lily. I've conquered every challenge life has ever given me, he thought. And this duel will be no exception. "I set a monster in defense mode and end my turn."
"I activate my trap card," Lector announced. "Life-Absorbing Machine which raises my life points by an amount equal to half of what I paid the last turn."

"Then I'll sacrifice my face-down monster to summon my ultimate weapon: Satellite Cannon." SC (0/0) A giant rocket appeared and shot up to the sky.
Meanwhile, Yugi and the gang drove down the bridge in the three-wheeled pick-up truck Pikachu had found. Joey was driving with Tea in the passenger's seat. The others were packed into the truck bed.
"Good thing this virtual pick-up truck was nearby," Yugi said.
"Yeah, you had a good eye," Lillie said to Pikachu, rubbing the Electric type's head, who cooed at her touch.
Joey suddenly slammed on the brakes causing the passengers in the back to topple over each other. Lillie fell across Ash's lap, and Ash could catch Serenity before she went over the edge. Duke and Yugi grabbed the edge of the trunk to avoid being sent flying.
"Why'd you stop, Joey?" Yugi asked.
"Look up there," Joey said, pointing to a rapidly ascending missile.
"What's that?" Yugi wondered.
"I don't know, but I don't like the looks of it," Joey commented.
"I have a bad feeling that's the boss monster of the final member of the Big 5," Ash said. Lillie was very nervous about her brother's safety. "Gladion, please be okay," she thought.
