Faith went with Xander and Cordelia to the school the next day. She probably could've hung out at C's mansion all day. Vegged and watched movies and pigged out on whatever was in the fancy refrigerator, but she wanted to be around people and the school was a good place for that.

Giles gave her some busywork to do and that kept her mind occupied. He told her he'd reported her arrival in Sunnydale to the Watchers Council and everything in regards to Kakistos. They had decided 'in their infinite wisdom' she could practically see Giles making quotation marks, that having the Slayer on the Hellmouth would ensure it remained closed. Like they thought the Pack couldn't handle it. Faith snorted at that. She'd seen the Pack in action and she didn't think there was a lot they couldn't handle. And like, if the Council thought they could give her orders, they really had no idea who she was. She was planning to stay here anyway, regardless of what the Council wanted.

"So does that mean you're my Watcher now? Or are they sending someone else?"

"Oh, they feel it is unnecessary to waste additional resources when I am already here. So, yes, I will be your Watcher. And yes, we will work with the Pack. The Council may not like it or understand them or their ways, but they are good at what they do. And I must admit, their training was more thorough then what is given to Slayers. Not to mention their use of armor and modern communication devices. It all works to make them most efficient and successful at what they do."

"Jenny is planning to take you apartment hunting this weekend. The Council will cover the expenses and provide a small stipend for you. Xander reported your arrival to his Tribes' Chief and his grandmother, the Medicine Woman of the Tribe. They're working on getting armor for you. Don't ask how they know your size, Abigail, Xander's grandmother is a seer, and as he puts it 'that way lies madness.' Once we secure an apartment for you, she will also ward it and bless it for you. Traditional means of protecting and cleansing a space. Around here we need it."

"That's nice of her."

"She's done it for all of us. Part of her way of contributing to the cause, I suppose. Plus, she is a Healer, it's in her nature to care for and help people. Jesse will be assisting her. On the job training is a big part of their training methods and it seems to be the way Jesse learns best. He seems to be quite enjoying his studies."

"Yeah, those fireballs of his were wicked cool."

"Yes, quite."

The Pack and Willow and Jesse again wondered in and out, throughout the day. Faith and Giles informing them of the news.

Toward the end of the day they all came in, boxes in their hands.

"What's that?" She asked, pointing at the boxes.

"Principle Snyder's latest hoop. He's making everyone sell chocolate bars to raise money for the band. So we will all be door to door selling these things." Xander said, sniffing at the box. "I usually like chocolate, but these don't smell like I'm used to chocolate smelling. Are they like gourmet something, is that why they're so expensive?"

"I've had gourmet," Cordelia said, "these don't smell like gourmet, they must be something specialty made or a start up trying to perfect a new recipe. Either way if you eat any you won't be getting any kisses for awhile, because I don't like the smell."

Xander dropped the box on the table, "as my Queen commands, Cordy-kisses much more appealing than chocolate."

The other guys laughed until Heidi said, "that goes for you too, bud, I don't like way the things smell things either." To Tor. Who quickly decided he preferred Heidi-kisses to chocolate. A look from Rhonda had Kyle dropping his box too.

"What about you, Red, you gonna withhold kisses from Jesse over there?"

"Oh, um no that, um Jesse and Xander and I are practically family, plus um, I'm gay. So, um, no kissing Jesse. Well maybe on his cheek or something."

"Besides, Jesse's dating a girl from the Tribe, Sarah Andrews. She kickboxes, Jesse steps outline and ker-plow." Xander joked.

"Ha, ha very funny. On the other hand she does have a high kick that is alot of fun to watch - from a safe distance." Jesse said.

On that note, everyone headed out to get some chocolate sold before going patrolling. Faith stayed in the library with Willow and Giles. Willow having escaped Snyder's hoop by assisting Ms. Calender with teaching her class. Giles gave Willow some research to do and Willow told Faith about how she'd scanned all of Giles' books into the computer and onto backup disks and wrote a program that cross-matched information from the books, making it easier to find information when researching. Faith was impressed and told her so. "I don't know much about computers, never been interested in learning, but that sounds impressive."

"Well computers are my thing. We all have our thing. The Pack does what they do. Jesse's learning traditional Chumash medicine and Magic and I work with the computers. Everyone having something they can do means we can all help. I can't use a sword and don't want to, but I can do this."

"Sounds like you're dragging at least G into the twentieth century, just in time for the twenty first. I hear you're hoping to do the same for the whole Council."

"Well, I want to try. The way they treat Slayers just isn't very nice and living in the past, just leaves them in the dust."
