(Prologue continued)
"I know you are worried" Bahamut said, and he revealed something that shocked Lancex. "You will not be going without the best assortment of weapons that our world can provide, as Slugbug assures me that these will work in his world." And with that, Bahamut causes a great light to flash in front of them.
"What did that do?" Lancex asked, curious as to just what that flash of light was all about.
"I provided you with all 13 royal arms with the knowledge of how to use them plus the arminger abilty" Bahamut revealed. Lancex checked all the weapons and even found the weapon his brother always used – a new sword called sword of the brothers and containing the balmung, the late princes ultimate weapon. Lancex was completely amazed and realized that in some small way, his brother would still be with him on this new adventure. Bahamut smiled, hopeful.
"Are you ready to join your new mission?" Slugbug asked, his optics burning blue instead of their normal yellow.
Lancex didn't answer right away as he studied the precious weapon as it meant so much to him. But then he realized Slugbug had asked him a question and was waiting for an answer. Bahamut was watching as well. "I am ready. Please, send me to where I can be the most help" Lancex answered.
Slugbug nodded and soon they all vanished. Lancex didn't have any idea what he was truly headed for, he just hoped that when he completed his one mission, he would find what he was looking for and had been promised.
