Hello everyone and welcome to the second chapter of the story
So, I want to expand the crew a little, maybe adding two or three people to the crew extra, one of them is Gin from the Baratie arc
Let me know what you think, and if you would like to see anyone else that isn't on the crew in cannon join the crew let me know
Chapter 2: Orange Town
Logan and Zoro thanks to the help of the pirates from Buggy's crew arrived on the island after a while
"Okay folks, I'm a man of my word, you have 30 seconds to get out of my sight," Logan said as the pirates nodded and ran away
"So, what's the plan?" Zoro asked in curiosity as he put his bandana on his head
"Well, there are two ways to go about this, we search the town, looking for some sort of info," Logan said putting a cigar in his mouth "Or we go to the place that it's the loudest, hopin' to find our cap'n there," Logan said blowing some smoke "Is going to be filled with bag eggs though," Logan said looking at Zoro in the eye
"Why do I have the feeling he's going to be there?" Zoro asked out loud and Logan chuckled and threw the cigar on the ground
"You're probably right partner, let's go, stay close and keep your guard up, we're in dangerous territory," Logan said as they started walking into the city "So, you fight with three swords right?" Logan asked in curiosity as both of them walked at a fast pace into the noisiest part of town
"Yeah, I call it santoryu, three sword style," Zoro said as he looked at Logan with a raised eyebrow "I saw you using your sword back with Morgan, you don't seem like a swordsman to me," Zoro said in curiosity
"I'm not if I have to name myself, I'm a quickdraw artist, or at least that was what the guy that trained me on the sword said," Logan said as they arrived at the main road and they saw a huge crater on the middle of it "I just use it in case someone get's to close," Logan said as he walked to the crater and kneeled down
"What are you looking at?" Zoro asked in curiosity
"The impact of this, it came from above, our cap'n landed here," Logan said looking at the crack in the floor then he heard a projectile being fired to his right and the next thing they saw was the right side of the town being blown up
"What the hell was that!?" Zoro said in shock as Logan looked down and his hat hid his eyes
"Nothin' good, come on, let's go get our cap'n," Logan said as he started running to where he heard the most noise and Zoro followed closely
Then they climbed up a building that had a circus on the roof and Logan put a hand up to tell Zoro to stop as he access the situation
There they found a familiar orange-haired girl trying to turn the match of a cannon that was pointed at their captain, Logan nodded at Zoro as he pointed at the girl who was going to be attacked by the Buggy pirates
Zoro moved forward as he stopped the attacks from the pirates Logan walked slowly whistling a tune "Howdy partners, sorry to crash the party," Logan said with a chuckle as he walked to Nami and grabbed her hands, and removed them from the match "You alright sweetheart?" Logan asked in concern
"Logan? What are you doing here?" Nami asked in confusion as Logan checked her hands
"If I told you I wanted to see you again and that I followed you, would you believe me?" Logan said cheekily and Nami snorted Logan looked to his right and saw Luffy in a cage "Cap'n what are you doing in a cage?" Logan asked with a sweat drop and a sigh
"It's all part of a plan, and I think it's going great! Especially with you and Zoro here," Luffy said excitedly and Logan looked at Nami with a raised eyebrow
"You know somethin' about this?" Logan asked in curiosity and Nami gulped especially when she saw his eyes glowing bright red thanks to the shine of the sun
"I-I'm sorry," Nami said taking a step back in fear
"I'm going to get a headache, Zoro, I'll take care of our cap'n, you deal with the vermin," Logan said with a sigh as he took a clip from his hat and started trying to unlock the lock
"Rorona Zoro? The pirate hunter?" Buggy said and Logan noticed his features, which literally were like he was a psycho clown from a circus
"Not anymore, I'm done being a bounty hunter," Zoro said walking towards Logan Nami's eyes winded as she recognized the name
"This is the crew members he was talking about, they're so scary," Nami thought with a gulp as Logan still tried to unlock the lock
"You sure you can do it?" Luffy asked with genuine curiosity that just irritated Logan
"Give a second, I know I can do this," Logan said and then stopped when he saw a shadow jumping at him
"What do you think you're doing, you're not getting out of here alive!" Buggy said and Zoro jumped to protect Logan and cut down Buggy into pieces
"Thanks, buddy, okay come on piece of shit," Logan said still trying to unlock the lock but with no avail, he got annoyed so he stood up and took out his black revolver and pointer at the lock
"So, the easy way then?" Luffy said with a chuckle and Logan's eyebrow twitched and he was prepared to say something but something felt off to him
"Man, that was easy, is this really the pirate that worries you?" Zoro asked with his back turned to the body of Buggy as the clown pirates started to laugh "What's so funny?" Zoro said as Logan's eyes winded as he saw Buggy standing back up
"Zoro, watch out!" Logan said grabbing the right arm of Zoro and moving him away as a floating hand manage to cut the right side of his stomach making Zoro fall in pain as Logan hold him
"Shit, I wanted to stab him, you outlaw, who the hell are you?" Buggy said
"None," Logan said as he moved Zoro back and access the area "Zoro, when you have the chance, flip the cannon," Logan said as Zoro looked at the cannon and nodded
"None? What the hell is that name?" Buggy said in confusion
"None of your damm business red nose vermin," Logan said moving away from Zoro and Making Luffy chuckled as the crew of Buggy gasped
"What did you say!? I don't have a red nose! That's it, you'll die first," Buggy said as he took out his daggers "And don't think of using your swords, I ate the Bara Bara no mi, I cannot be cut by a sword," Buggy said with a big smile and a laugh
"Wasn't planning on using one partner," Logan said as he quickly took out his silver revolver and shoot one of the daggers from Buggy's hands, and drew his other gun to shoot the chest of Buggy to times
The clown pirate managed to move his dagger close to his chest just in the nick of time to avoid being hit and he was just sent back to his crew by the force of the gunshot
"Ey cheater, guns in a sword fight is forbidden!" Buugy said as Logan smirked at him darkly
"I don't care, I'm a pirate," Logan said with a chuckle "Besides you should be more worried about something else partner," Logan said pointing to the left as Buggy looked in the direction Logan was pointing and his eyes winded in shock and fear as he saw the cannon being pointed at him and his crew
"Wait what are you doing!?" Buggy asked as his eyes grew big comically when he saw Nami liting the match of the cannon "Wait you're going to blow us up!" Buggy said as the cannon fired and blew the whole clown crew
Zoro bend down and grabbed the cage wincing in pain as he lift the cage up and prepare to escape "Hey sweetheart, you shouldn't stay here, come along," Logan said as both he and Zoro stepped to the edge of the roof and Logan put a hand forward for Nami to grab
She hesitated for a few seconds and looked back and figure that they were the safest bet and walked forward and grabbed Logan's hand
Both teens saw Zoro landing down with a grunt and taking the cell away "Why is he pushing himself to that length, he's just a pirate?" Nami asked out loud not realizing she was still holding hands with Logan and the outlaw heard her
"You don't like pirates?" Logan asked in curiosity as he walked forward and because they were still holding hands he directed Nami to the ground
She walked close to him not minding holding his hand, but she did have a frown on her face "Pirates only take from the innocent, they're scum, they're nothing but low-life scum," Nami said and Logan chuckled
"You're not wrong darling, there are bad men around the seas, people who are weak and because of that they pray on the weaker individual," Logan said as he walked into an alley intending to take a shortcut to where Zoro had gone but he was stopped as Nami pulled his arm and pushed him into the wall of the alley and placed a finger on his chest
"Then you agree with me, pirates are evil so why the hell did you join a pirate crew!?" Nami asked in confusion
"A hunch," Logan said with a shrug as Nami raised an eyebrow
"A hunch?" Nami asked in confusion as Logan nodded
"My dream is to find the one piece, so I can become the greatest treasure hunter," Logan said with a smirk on his face "Sadly, I needed a crew and a cap'n, but the bunch I met were awful people, and I didn't want them to get the one piece," Logan said looking to his side
"Then I met Luffy, the straw-hat guy, and he picked my interest," Logan said with a smile "He was different, so now I'm following him to see his resolve," Logan said with a smile and Nami looked down with a frown
Logan saw her downcast behavior and squeezed her hand "You have met the awful side of the pirate world haven't you?" Logan said and Nami took her hand from Logan's and crossed them close to her chest
"None of your business," Nami said and Logan put his hands up
"Fair, you're right we've just met," Logan said and Nami sighed and dropped her hands
"Sorry, don't mean to be rude," Nami said with a sigh and Logan put a hand on her shoulder
"Hey, it's fine, I tried to dig too far, it's my fault," Logan said with a smile as he walked to the end of the alley and turn to her "Why don't you join us? Just for a while, maybe you'll find somethin' you didn't know you were looking for," Logan said without looking at her as he scout the area ahead for enemies as Nami walked up to him
"That's so? What do you think I could find?" Nami said putting herself behind him Logan looked at her without turning around and gave her a huge smile
"Friends," Logan said as he started walking through the town in search of his captain
Nami's eyes winded when he said that and she looked at the hand that she used to hold Logan's and closed it tightly and bring it to her chest "I wish I could, but it's not that easy," Nami said to herself as she started walking forward following Logan
Logan meanwhile had founded his captain messing with a dog as Zoro was leaning on the pet store trying to get some sleep "Cap'n what are you doing?" Logan asked in confusion as he saw Luffy in the cage touching a small dog in front of him
Logan walked to where Zoro was as Luffy responded to him "I'm trying to teach this dog some tricks, but he isn't responding, I think he's dead," Luffy said as he kept touching the dog
"Cap'n don't mess with the dog, we don't know if he has rabies or something," Logan said as he kneeled down to see Zoro's wound "Mind lifting your shirt partner," Logan said as Zoro lifted his shirt and Logan saw the cut and took a handkerchief from one of his jacket pockets
"It's nothing, just a little rest will do, you don't have to worry," Zoro said as Logan started to clean the wound
"You're my crew partner, it's my job to worry," Logan said with a chuckle "Thank god that vermin didn't stab you, it's just a small cut, keep this handkerchief close to the wound and you'll be fine after a while," Logan said as he took a seat next to Zoro
"Thanks, I owe you one, you saved me back then," Zoro said with a grunt as Luffy kept messing with the dog
"Crew members are supposed to have each other back don't they?" Logan said as he put a fist forward and Zoro snorted and fist-bumped with Logan
Then Luffy irritated the dog enough as the dog went forward and started bitting the face of Luffy hard
"Especially with our cap'n it seems," Logan said with a sigh as Zoro looked at Luffy and sighed as he dropped back
"Man I'm so tired," Zoro said and Logan took out a cigar and started thinking hard as he heard familiar footsteps coming towards them
"Navigator!" Luffy said from the ground after managing to take the dog from his face
"I came to give you this," Nami said throwing the key to the cell that was holding Luffy inside and Luffy smiled
"You came all this way to give me this!?" Luffy said excitedly looking at Nami with a smile "Thank you!" Luffy said and Nami smiled at him
"Don't get things wrong, I just didn't want to owe you something, that's all" Nami said as her eyes traveled to where Logan was who looked at her and smirked she crossed her arms and turned around
"Ah, I'm saved!" Luffy said as he went to grab the key but then the dog quickly went and ate it
Logan, Zoro, and Nami just watch the scene dumbfounded as Luffy's eyes winded and then he became mad "Stupid dog, give it back now!" Luffy said as he grabbed the dog and started shaking him roughly "Give it back, give it back!" Luffy said as Logan pinched his nose in annoyance but then he heard footsteps and his hand quickly went to his gun
"Hey! Stop messing with Shushu you guys!" An old man wearing black heavy armor and some glasses said as Logan took his hand off the gun
"Shushu?" Luffy asked in curiosity while he stop shaking the dog
"Luffy put the dog down," Logan said and Luffy put the dog down and sat on the floor "Old man, who are ya?" Logan asked in curiosity but his guard was still up
"I'm the mayor of this town, who are you?" The mayor asked as he looked down and saw the wound on Zoro "Oh my, that's a nasty wound, you were the ones who Buggy attacked right? You should go see a doctor," The mayor said as he grabbed an unwilling Zoro and dragged him to the doctor's office
"What an overzealous individual," Logan said taking a drag out of his cigar and leaning back to watch the sky as he started forming a plan, knowing full well his captain would want to fight Buggy
A few moments later
The mayor walked out of the doctor's office and headed straight to where Luffy was, Logan was resting on the floor with his hat hiding his face pretending he was asleep
"Old man, how's Zoro?" Luffy asked in concern as the old man looked at Luffy
"I wanted to take him to a doctor, but he told me to just let him sleep it off," The Mayor said and Logan hold back a snort
"So, this dog's name is Shushu, right?" Nami said petting the dog on its head
"He's just sitting there, is there something wrong with him?" Luffy said with a chuckle
"He's protecting the shop," The mayor said as Logan moved himself a little to hear what the mayor had to say, as it had picked his interest
"Protecting the shop?" Nami asked in curiosity
"Yes, this store belonged to a good friend of mine," The mayor said and Logan noticed his sad tone and knew this wasn't going to be a story filled with a happy ending "Here," the mayor said putting a bowl of food in front of Shushu
"I come here to bring food in his place," The mayor said
"In his place?" Nami asked in curiosity
"Yeah, he died from a disease three years ago," The mayor said closing the door of the pet shop
"Is he waiting for his owner perhaps?" Nami asked and the mayor prepared to speak but Logan beat him to it
"It's Shushu's treasure ain't it?" Logan said from the spot he was without looking at the mayor
"Aye, that's what I believe at least," The mayor said blowing a smoke "Shushu's a smart dog, he knows my friend is gone, but he left the store as a memento, a treasure, and ever since Shushu keeps protecting it," The mayor said "And I tried to move him several times away, but he always comes back, he just doesn't want to leave this place," The mayor said as silence followed the area
The dog moved the bowl to the entrance and then the floor started trembling as Logan looked up "Darling, old man, you should get some cover, we've got company," Logan said not standing up as his right hand went to his holster just in case
"What's that sound?" Nami said in wonder as the mayor's eyes popped out
"That's Moji the beast tamer!" The mayor said running away
"Wait, what do you mean by Beast Tamer!?" Nami said running behind the mayor
"Want me to take care of this cap'n?" Logan said and Luffy shook his head
"Nah I want to fight him, but I can't get out of this cage!" Luffy said and Logan sighed "But Logan, if I can't, protect this shop," Luffy said in a serious tone that surprised Logan
"Roger that, then I'll move only if necessary," Logan said putting his right hand behind his head and his left one in the holster
He pretended to fall asleep as a man with weird hair that resembled animal ears and riding a lion walked into the pet store
"Who are you?" Luffy asked in curiosity
"Oh it seems the only crew member you have here is asleep," Moji said with a chuckle in his voice "I'm Moji The Beast Tamer from Buggy's crew," Moji said
"What's up with your clothes, they're so weird," Luffy said and Moji frowned in irritation
"What an insolent person, this is my hair!" Moji said pointing at his fake ears
"That just makes you weirder," Luffy said
"You bastard, because you're in that cage that makes you so insolent, don't you know who I am, I'm," Moji said and Logan sighed gaining his attention
"Partner if you introduce yourself again I'm going to get a headache," Logan said and Moji's eyebrow twitched in irritation
"Perhaps I should show you my greatness," Moji said walking to the dog as he tried to shake the hand of the dog, but Shushu just bit the hand hard as Moji tried to shake it off
"Seems you're full of it partner," Logan said as Moji shook Shushu away and glared at Logan
"Fine, seems like this dog is wilder than I thought, but it doesn't matter, you'll be dead soon," Moji said approaching Luffy "Now tell me, where's Roronoa Zoro?" Moji asked and Luffy took his tongue out
"Now way!" Luffy said and Moji grumbled in annoyance
"Richie take him down," Moji said as the lion pressed the cell down and break in the process
"Oh, the cell broke, great!" Luffy said but Richie the lion punched Luffy away sending him away
"Partner," Logan said looking at Moji "You shouldn't have done that, I'm in a good mood, so you have one chance to go your merry way, otherwise the undertaker will come sooner," Logan said with a threatening voice that made Moji gulp
"You're lucky I have no interest in you, now Richie let's search for Zoro, then we will be famous," Moji said and then he noticed the lion eyeing the store in hunger "What's that? A pet store? If you were hungry you should've told me, okay, take anything you want," Moji said as the lion took a step forward and Shushu prepared to fight
"Second warning partner," Logan said his right hand going to his rifle but Moji didn't listen Richie pushed the dog into the store signal breaking it apart and Logan sprung into action firing at one of the sides of the lion
"Now I'm mad, and here I thought I was an animal pacifist," Logan said as the force of the gunshot send Richie tumbling down "Hey buddy, mind if I give you a hand?" Logan said putting himself next to Shushu and the dog barked in agreement
"Richie, you bastard, why did you do that?" Moji said as the lion grunted and stand up as blood pour from its right side
"I have a mission to protect this store, and the dog's treasure," Logan said putting the rifle on his shoulder "You have sealed your fate partner, I did warn you," Logan said glaring at Moji
"You bastard, Richie kill him," Moji said and Logan pointed the rifle at the lion
"Go low, to the legs," Logan said as Shushu ran and bit one of the legs of Richie and Logan meanwhile fired two rifle gunshots and connected to the shoulders of the lion
Richie roared and send Shushu away, and went to strike Logan but the outlaw rolled away and shoot in the stomach while rolling
When he stood up he jumped to the right and connected two more shots to the stomach of Richie as Shushu strike again biting one of the ears of the lion off
The lion got tired and started wobbling down as Logan stared at the lion in sadness "You got a bad owner partner, I'm sorry," Logan said shooting Richie in the head and killing him instantly
"Richie! You bastard! Why!?" Moji said with anger and tears on his face as Logan stepped to the entrance of the shop and from his peripheral he saw Luffy, Nami, and the Mayor arriving at the scene
"I told you, as long as I live no harm will come to this store," Logan said "I do wonder, why didn't you fight with your companion? Does Richie do all the work and you just watch?" Logan asked in curiosity as Moji grew some claws from his gloves and ran to Logan
"I'll kill you and I'll destroy this store in the process," Moji said running at Logan and the outlaw crossed eyes with Luffy telling him that he got this
"I got this warrior," Logan whispered to Shushu as he punched the face of Moji with the back part of his rifle and send Moji back
"Do you feel sad partner? It's normal you just lost your companion," Logan said as Luffy and Nami paid close attention to what was happening
"Shut up. You don't know how I," Moji started saying but Logan punched his throat with his rifle
"I do know, I have traveled from the west blue to the east blue, and it's all the same," Logan said pushing down Moji with his foot "Weak vermin praying on the innocent, tell me partner, how many companions? How many friends? How many Richies have you killed from innocent people?" Logan said putting his rifle away and Moji looked at him in sadness
"I-I'm so," Moji started saying but Logan draw his black revolver quick and shoot the head of Moji killing him instantly
"I don't care, hope your sins aren't too much partner," Logan whispered as he walked back to where Shushu was
"He just killed him, I thought he was different, but," Nami thought bitterly but then her eyes winded as he saw Logan scratching the head of Shushu
"You did good warrior, your partner would've been proud of you, sorry about the sign though," Logan said taking a seat next to Shushu "Sorry you had to see that folks," Logan said as the trio who was watching approach Logan
"Why did you though?" Nami asked in curiosity still wanting to believe he was a good person
"If I let him live, he would've just come back here again and destroyed the shop, I don't like what I do, but it's necessary," Logan said looking at his gun "I carry the darkness so that people can live and laugh, have a problem with that cap'n?" Logan asked in curiosity as Luffy chuckled
"No, you looked really cool," Luffy said as he went to pet the dog and Nami looked at Logan as the outlaw met her eyes
"Sometimes bad people need to be put down, so they don't make for bad things, and I intend to carry that burden, for my crew and my cap'n," Logan said as he looked at Luffy at that last words
"You're not a bad person, sorry I thought that," Nami said and Logan chuckled
"I'm not good either but is fine, you probably had your reasons," Logan said chuckling as he turn to look at Luffy "Cap'n, we do need to do something about Buggy," Logan said and Luffy nodded
Then the mayor started mumbling to himself "That kid and Shushu fought hard, and I as the mayor did nothing, so embarrassing!" The mayor said as Luffy and Nami ran to face the mayor
"Mayor calm down," Nami said putting a hand forward
"Four years ago this whole city was pure field, we worked hard and built this town together," The mayor said, and Logan whistle
"Four years huh? Impressive," Logan said and the mayor smiled
"Thank you, that's how this town was born," The mayor said "This whole town and its people are my treasure! How can I call myself mayor if I don't protect them!?" The mayor said in anger and frustration
Then an explosion sounded and the hose of the mayor that was on the right side of the group
"Even my house, those bastards," The mayor said and Luffy and Logan's eyes winded in shock
"Zoro!" Both of them shouted in panic as both of them ran forward and started searching through the rubble
"Zoro are you alive!?" Luffy asked in concern as Logan move a spike
"Buddy, show signs of life, please," Logan said with concern in his voice as Zoro lifted himself up from the rubble
"What an awful to woke up," Zoro said with a yawn as Logan and Luffy smiled in relief
"How the hell is he alive?" Nami asked herself in confusion as Logan put a hand forward and helped Zoro stand up
"You alright partner?" Logan asked and Zoro smiled
"Yeah, I'm okay," Zoro said standing up Logan looked at his wound and noticed it was almost closed
"This cannot stand anymore, I have to do something!" The mayor said walking up and Logan walked forward as Nami tried to stop him
"Wait, you're going to get yourself kill," Nami said holding the mayor back
"There you go old man," Luffy said with a chuckle and Logan swatted his head
"Luffy don't motivate the old man," Logan said with a sigh as Luffy rubbed the back of his head "Old man your ambition and motives are good, but I'm sorry, this doesn't concern you anymore," Logan said as the mayor looked at him with a shock look on his face
"Why!? I have to defeat Buggy and save my town!" The mayor said and Logan crossed his arms
"Because this is a fight between pirates now," Logan said with a serious look on his face "He stabbed my crew member and then send a cannon to the same crew member, it's a war between crews now," Logan said with a smile on his face "I'm going to have to ask you to stand down partner," Logan said
"I can't, I won't, Buggy needs to be taken down!" The mayor said as Logan sighed and put a hand on one of the shoulders of the mayor
"You have a good heart," Logan said as he punched lightly the back of the mayor's neck the mayor fell down unconscious and Logan caught him before he fall to the floor
Logan grabbed the mayor and put him next to the pet shop "We need a plan now, you know what battle between pirates entails right?" Logan asked the group and the trio shook their heads "You know about the code at least?" Logan asked in curiosity and hope
"What's that?" Luffy asked tilting his head
"Code?" Zoro asked in confusion
"Pirates have codes?" Nami asked in curiosity
Logan sighed and pinched his nose "Okay, crash course, a good chunk of pirates behave under the same code, Roger did too, and if Buggy learned somethin' from Roger he will accept our terms," Logan said crossing his arms
"And what are our terms?" Zoro asked in curiosity
"A battle, depending on how many they have, us three will have to face one enemy, a combatant for me and Zoro, and Buggy for ya Cap'n," Logan said "They want the head of Zoro, so what do we want?" Logan asked in curiosity
"The map of the grand Line!" Luffy said excitedly and Logan chuckled and turn to Zoro
"I just want to beat one of those guys," Zoro said with a chuckle and Logan turned to Nami
"Why are you looking at me?" Nami asked in curiosity
"You want the treasure, don't ya? Want to join us?" Logan asked in curiosity "Of course if our cap'n is willing," Logan said looking at Luffy
"Of course, she's a good person," Luffy said putting his hand forward
"I won't be a pirate," Nami said looking down but then she clasped Luffy's hand "But I work with you for now for my own goals," Nami said with a smile as Luffy smiled
"Yeah! I have another nakama, now let's go defeat the clown," Luffy said but before he could run off Logan grabbed the back of his vest
"Hold it right there cap'n, let's try not to get separated okay?" Logan said with a smirk on his face, then he walked back and grabbed the corps of Moji "Farewell warrior," Logan said tilting his hat to Shushu as he was protecting the mayor now
He put Moji on his right shoulder "Let's go," Logan said as Luffy smiled and led the charge as they walked to where Buggy was
They arrived after a few moments of walking and Logan nodded to Luffy as the straw-hat teen looked up
"Yo red nose bastard, get out here!" Luffy shouted as Buggy came out angry
"The hell are you calling red nose you!" Buggy started saying but then Logan dropped the corpse of Moji down and looked at Buggy
"We wish to parlay, partner," Logan said as Buggy closed his fist in anger as he saw the corpse of Moji
"Let them through," Buggy said as they open the doors and the crew entered the building and walked to the roof "What are your terms, bastards?" Buggy said in anger
"A battle, pirate crew vs pirate crew," Logan said and narrowed his eyes at Buggy "You win we die, we win we get your treasure," Logan said and Buggy crossed his arms
"Fine, just so that I know, who killed Moji?" Buggy asked in anger
"I did, but your battle isn't with me, is with my captain, per the code," Logan said and Luffy smirked and punch his fist together "So it's me, our cap'n, and Zoro the ones who'll you need to fight," Logan said and Buggy nodded "So we're in agreement?" Logan asked crossing his arms
"Yeah, you know what, I prefer to kill you right now," Buggy said signaling the cannon to be lit and Logan chuckled
"What a shame, Roger would've been so ashamed," Logan said as he grabbed Zoro and Nami quickly and put himself behind Luffy
"Do your thing cap'n," Logan said as Luffy inflated himself as a balloon and redirected the cannonball back to Buggy blowing the roof as Logan carried Zoro and Nami down into the ground floor "Well, my plan didn't work, sorry guys," Logan said with a sheepish chuckle as Luffy fell down next to them
"Don't worry Logan, I managed to get them!" Luffy said with a smirk as Nami's eyes winded
"What the hell are you!?" Nami said separating from Logan as she walked toward Luffy "How did you do that!?" She asked in shock as Logan let go of Zoro
"Keep your guard up just in case," Logan said to Zoro as the swordsman nodded and put the bandana on his head
Logan stared straight ahead as he moved his bandana up to cover the lower side of his face
"It's called the Gomu Gomu no Fusen," Luffy said with a smile as Nami got angrier
"That's why I'm asking you what you are!? Are you like a monster or something!?" Nami said and Logan cleared his throat
"He ate a devil fruit, the Gum-Gum fruit to be precise, he's made out of rubber," Logan said scratching the cheek of Luffy and letting go as Luffy rubbed his cheek in pain "Buckle up people, this ain't over," Logan said as he saw Buggy stepping out from the rubble with two unknown pirates ad shields
"Bastards, how could you do that to me?" Buggy said and Nami scoffed
"He uses pirates as a shield, how low," Nami said and Logan crossed his arms
"No morality and no code, figures," Logan said glaring at Buggy who was glaring at them too
"So, another devil fruit user huh?" Another pirate who also used his crew members as shields said, he was wearing a ninja outfit with a green scarf and smooth black hair
"Captain Buggy, please let us handle these bastards!" A tall muscular man said, he had his upper chest uncovered and had several tattoos around him
"Cabaji, Brokk, you guys survived," Buggy said with a smile as he looked at them "Go ahead, show these idiots your moves," Buggy said as Cabaji jumped and landed on an unicycle and started moving towards the pirates
Brokk went down and started running at incredible speeds mimicking an animal running
"Cap'n please don't get excited for our enemies," Logan said as Luffy had stars on his eyes when he saw the enemies coming towards them
"We're the right-hand men of Buggy, let us show you the fury of our captain," Cabaji said taking out a sword and aiming it at Luffy
Brokk jumped high to strike Luffy but then a gunshot was heard as Logan shoot him with his rifle and Zoro stepped in front of Cabaji and Luffy
"I'll face anyone with a sword," Zoro said stopping the attack of Cabaji and Logan looked down at Brokk who had been pushed back with only a small scratch on his right shoulder
"Sorry partner, you'll have to deal with me first," Logan said as Brokk stood up and glared at Logan
"It'll be my honor Roronoa Zoro," Cabaji said as the two faced up and Brook started circling around Logan who still had his rifle pointed at Brokk
"You were the one to kill Moji huh? It will be great to kill you then," Brokk said as Logan spoke out to Zoro without looking
"Zoro, you should rest and let Luffy take care of it, you are still hurt," Logan said and Zoro scoffed
"It's fine, you focus on yours, partner," Zoro said and Logan chuckled
"Fine but don't go stealing my phrases," Logan said as the muscular enemy moved towards him, Logan fired two shots hitting the shoulders of Brokk but he underestimated his resistance as the muscular man punched Logan's stomach and send him flying into a bar saloon
Logan went crashing into a table breaking it apart as he lost his rifle outside and Brokk walked slowly into the Bar
"Are you going to do something!?" Nami asked Luffy as she saw the crew of Luffy fight and lose but Luffy remained quiet "Fine I don't need this, I'm going for the treasure, if we see each other again we'll help each other," Nami said as Luffy smiled at her
"Of course, see you later!" Luffy said as he waved goodbye meanwhile inside the Bar Logan stood up and cracked his back as he put two fists up
"The hell are you made up partner?" Logan asked spitting into the floor as Brokk punched his fist together Logan saw blood dripping from Brokk's shoulders but noticed that it wasn't bothered by them
"Pure hard muscle, no for nothing I'm the strongest man in Buggy's crew," Brokk said as he noticed that Logan wasn't putting his guns out "Shouldn't you be using your guns pretty boy?" Brokk said and Logan chuckled
"I should, but I feel I got something to prove, bad habit ya' know?" Logan said and then frowned "And pretty boy? Really?" Logan asked irritated and Brokk smirked darkly
"This is going to be fun," Brokk said rushing forward with a huge right hook Logan dodge down and punch the stomach of Brokk and kicked one of the legs of the muscular man
The first attack to the stomach did nothing but the second one send Brokk to his knees and Logana took advantage and started punching the face of Brokk several times
He landed about five to six punches giving Brokk a black eye before the tall man had enough and when the seven punch hit Brokk, he managed to grab one of the arms of Logan and send the cowboy flying into the counter where all the booze was
"Ahg bastard, why the back again?" Logan said putting his hat back on his head and silently grabbing one of the bottles from the counter
"You pack a good punch," Brokk said spitting some blood into the floor "But I have to kill you, for Moji's sake," Brokk said gabbing Logan from the back of his neck and bringing him up
"Sorry partner, but I cannot die here," Logan said turning around and hitting him with the bottle on the head breaking it apart
"Bastard, that's not fair," Brokk said as Logan went down and tackled the enemy and started punching his face
"I'm a pirate, I don't fight fair," Logan said as he kept punching the face of Brokk but the large man screamed in anger and managed to push Logan back with his foot
Brokk then punch Logan's stomach hard Logan's mouth got wide as he felt his breath leave his body, then Brokk punched the right side of Logan's face hard giving him a black eye and the outlaw went tumbling to the wooden floor hard cutting his forehead open on his left side
Brokk grabbed Logan by his jacket and pushed him away Logan crashed into a table and landed in front of the window Brokk ran forward and tackle Logan to the outside while Logan's back broke the window behind him
Logan and Brokk landed outside as they saw Luffy without his hat and Buggy facing each other and Zoro sleeping on the floor with Cabaji defeated
"Brokk you haven't killed him!?" Buggy asked in anger as Brokk held down Logan with a hand on the outlaw's face Logan had lost his hat
"Almost done Buggy, then I'll join you," Brokk said as Logan started twisting trying to break free, and saw Luffy looking at him with concern
"Don't worry about me cap'n, I got this," Logan said with a struggle "You handle the red nose vermin," Logan said and Luffy chuckled
"Roger that," Luffy said with a smile ad Brokk pushed harder
"What is it that you got exactly?" Brokk said with a dark chuckle not realizing that Logan had managed to free one of his legs
"My victory," Logan said kicking the balls of Brokk hard and pushing him away in the process
Logan then threw an elbow to the left side of Brokk's head and kicked him in the stomach, then he grabbed the muscular man by his neck and pushed him down
In his peripheral, he saw Nami entering the area with a bag on her back and Logan figured it was Buggy's treasure, Logan managed to bring Brokk down and in rapid succession started hitting the face of Brokk a lot and Brokk couldn't defend himself
"Are you done?" Logan said after a while of punching with bloodied fists and out of breathe as he saw the bloodied and swallow face of Brokk
"I-I give-e u-up," Brokk said out of breath and Logan looked at him with a frown
"Good," Logan said throwing a hard right punch knocking Brokk out cold, he rolled away out of breath but he managed to stand up and walked to where his hat was
He was so tired, that when he grabbed his hat and put it on he walked to a wall and sat there leaning on the wall while trying to look at the scene in front of him but his left side was filled with blood and he couldn't see good
"Ah well, a little nap won't be so bad," Logan thought as he started to doze off and the last thing he saw was Buggy flying towards Nami
~Line break~
"Oi, Logan wake up, oi," Logan heard as he felt someone slapping him lightly, he blinked into consciousness as he saw Luffy and Nami standing in front of him and Zoro seating next to him
"Is the fight over?" Logan asked a little dizzy
"Yeah, besides we have a map and a navigator now!" Luffy said in excitement as he looked back to Nami
Logan looked at her and couldn't help but to smile at her and he nodded at her "Welcome to the crew then," Logan said and turn to Zoro "You okay partner?" Logan asked Zoro looking at his wound
"I'm fine, what about you? Your face is all red," Zoro said with a snort as Logan touched his face and noticed the drops of dried blood
"Nah it's fine, it will heal," Logan said with a slur in his voice "I feel dizzy though," Logan said with a chuckle
"Yeah me too, I took less time to defeat my opponent though," Zoro said with a chuckle as Logan grumbled
"Shut up at least I didn't get stabbed again," Logan said as both of them glared at each other for a moment and then chuckled together
"Are they even normal?" Nami thought as she noticed Logan's rifle on the floor and walked to it
"Ah, could use a glass of coffin-varnish right about now," Logan said looking up wanting a glass of whiskey as a shadow enter his vision and he saw Nami standing in front of him handing him his rifle
"Ah, thank you kindly," Logan said with a smile on his face that made Nami blush a little
"Don't think nothing about it," Nami said and Logan chuckled then everyone heard several footsteps coming in their direction
They looked to the right and saw several mobs of people coming toward them holding the mayor
"You runts, do you know what happened here, and to the mayor?" One of the citizens said as Nami sighed in relief
"Oh thank god, they're just the citizens," Nami said and Logan leaned toward Zoro
"10 bellies say that our cap'n does something stupid," Logan whispered to Zoro with a chuckle as Zoro smirked
"You're on," Zoro whispered back, and the two watch Luffy with smirks on their faces
"Ah sorry, we punched him and knock him out," Luffy said and Logan's smirk grew wider
"Score," Logan whispered to Zoro as the green-haired guy sighed and gave Logan 10 coins
"What!?" The crowd asked in anger
"Wait!, you didn't have to tell them that!" Nami said in irritation
"But you saw," Luffy said looking at her
"I know, but we had our reasons for it!" She said and she noticed that the crowd had moved forward with weapons in hands
"Oi, why did you punch the mayor, you outsiders!?" One of the citizens asked
"Your actions don't add up, who are you!? I think they must be part of the pirate crew," One of the citizens said and Logan looked around
"Ah, and I wanted an easy way out," Logan said with a sigh as Zoro chuckled
"They came here for vengeance, if they find out we're pirates and bandits, were done," Nami thought in fear
"We're pirates," Luffy said seriously and Nami fell down from the absurdity
Logan and Zoro laughed out loud at the stupidity of the situation "Pirates, why have you come to pillage our town!?" One of the town's folk said
"We won't forgive you just because you're kids!" Another citizen said as Luffy walked to where Logan and Zoro were sitting
"What's wrong? I doubt they can hear reason," Zoro said with a chuckle and Logan laughed
"Yeah cap'n seems we're in a tight spot," Logan said and Luffy smirked at them and grabbed one of the arms of his crew members and started running away with Logan and Zoro leaning on his shoulders
"Let's run!" Luffy said as Nami ran alongside him with her bags of money on her back
"You idiot! Why did you say that? You just made things worse!" Nami said as Logan and Zoro from the abrupt move fell unconscious again
"It's a good city," Luffy said as Nami looked at him in confusion "They all got angry when they heard what we did to the mayor," Luffy said with a smile on his face as Nami looked back
"It wouldn't have mattered what we said, they would have gotten angry either way," Luffy said with a chuckle in his voice "Let's turn around here!" Luffy said abruptly as Nami's eyes winded
"Wait! Want me first before doing it!" Nami said as she almost missed the turn and but of them entered an alley and saw Shushu there, they jumped dodging the dog they both turn around to see Shushu stopping the crowd
Luffy smiled and shouted with happiness "See you later dog!" He said
~Line break~
They arrived at the port where Zoro and Logan had docked their little boat "Few we made it, still I don't know why we had to run," Nami said out of breath as Luffy still had Zoro and Logan on his shoulders
"It's fine, we don't have anything more to do here either way," Luffy said
"I know that but…" She said but Luffy changed the topic when he saw another boat there
"Wait, is this your boat? It's so cool!" Luffy said with stars in his eyes
"I don't know why you get excited," Nami said with a sigh "I just took it from some useless pirates," Nami said and out of the boat two men showed themselves
"How dare you! You insolent girl!" The two pirates that Logan had let go said from the boat as Nami winded in fear "We've been waiting for you, you thief!" One of them said
"You weren't expecting to see us here right?" The other one said as Nami chuckled nervously
"You know them?" Luffy asked in curiosity
"Sort of," Nami said sheepishly
"Fate brought us back together, seems you have partners no, they will be punished too," The leader said approaching Luffy as the straw-hat guy looked at them
"We will show you what happens when you rob us," He said and noticed the sleeping members of Luffy's crew "Oi you bastards, wake up," He said slapping the head of Logan and Zoro respectively
Logan and Zoro looked up with glares on their faces "Partner, can't you see we're sleeping," Logan said tiredly as the Buggy's pirates winded in fear recognized both of them and took a step back
They screamed in fear and ran away leaving the boats alone "Were those the guys from earlier?" Zoro asked confused and Logan shrugged his shoulders
"We're leaving then?" Logan asked Luffy and their captain nodded "Good, maybe I can rest a bit that way," Logan said stepping into the boat and leaning on one of the sides of the boat while his hat hid his face and he stretched his legs forward
The rest entered the boat while Nami entered the other one and tied them together as they started sailing away Luffy unbeknownst to Nami, left a bag on the island for the townsfolks
"Ey you, why does your boat have a Buggy flag?" Zoro asked and Nami sighed
"Well, this is their boat, I'll throw it out later," Nami said
"Hey, you kids!" They heard from the island a familiar voice shout as all of them looked back not moving from their spots "I was ready to give up my life, because of my frustrations of not doing anything! I'm in your debt!" The mayor said with tears in his eyes as the crew smiled at him
"It's nothing, old man, don't worry about it!" Luffy shouted with a smile and sat back down "Good thing I left a bag there," He said out loud and Nami's eyes winded
"You did what!? Why in the hell did you leave a bag there!?" Nami shouted at Luffy not believing what she just heard
"Yeah," Luffy responded
"You know one of those bags is worth at least five million bellies!" Nami said in anger and irritation
"Calm down Nami, you know they need the money to rebuild their city," Luffy said and Logan smiled when he heard those words
"That was my treasure!" Nami said in anger "DO you know what I had to do to take it!" Nami said as she grabbed Luffy's head and pushed him into the water
Logan and Zoro watched how Nami tried to drown their captain and laughed out loud in amusement as Logan looked to the sky wondering what the world would bring them next
