The strange portal soon opened, and Optimus and Predaking stepped out and were blinded by bright daylight. They tried to shield their optics but it wasn't working as they had hoped. It was then that they looked at each other and realized that this world had indeed changed them. They still had their robotic forms, but it wasn't so robotic anymore. Their "tanks" felt empty and they were unable to transform. "I'm hungry" Predaking growled, as he hadn't finished his energon before crossing over the portal.
"Well, according to Slugbug, here, we will not be able to consume energon, as we aren't fully robotic. Sec we heard more like earth humans, we must find food and drink to fill our tanks" Optimus reminded the dragon bot. Optimus had remembered to finish his energon before he crossed over so he wasn't quite as hungry.
"Well, I guess we look for food, and then Lancex, though I still don't fully trust you, Prime" Predaking retorted. Not wanting to waste precious energy fighting, Optimus agreed. They scanned the horizon and saw a citadel or structure of some kind in the distance. "Look there."
Up ahead, where Predaking was pointing, was a sign that stated "welcome to hammerhead." The two looked a each other, a bit confused, but headed in that direction.
And as they got closer, they found a building that looked like a garage. Inside, there was a 28-year-old woman working on a car and a much older man who was overseeing her work. Seeking answers, Optimus and Predaking headed into the garage, hoping for direction and guidance. Well, at least Optimus was.
Upon entering the two entering the establishment, the woman stopped working and introduced herself as Cindy while the older gentleman introduced himself as Cid. Then the two asked who the pair were. Optimus introduced himself and Predaking. "Nice to meet you, how can we be of assistance?" Cindy asked.
"We are seeking a friend of ours" Optimus answered and described Prince Lance to a T. "Do you know where we may find him?" Cindy was stunned, as they were seeking Prince Lancex, however before she could answer, a cough came from behind Optimus and Predaking. Cindy, Optimus, and Predaking turned around and saw two new humans that previously hadn't been there.
One of these new humans had a katana sword in his hand and was ready to attack and defend the prince's honor. The other human was larger than both Optimus and Predaking and was wielding a great sword while glaring at Optimus and Predaking. "We are Gladiolus and Cor. Who are you and why do you seek Lancex?" Gladiolus demanded to know. Realizing that they were outnumbered by multiple humans who were much the same size they were, Optimus and Predaking gulped, trying to think of an appropriate answer to soothe the anger of these humans. Optimus just hoped that they hadn't made a mistake seeking Lancex in his own dimension.
