Last Time, on Cuha ball Z, unbeknownst to Cuha and co, horrible villains plotted and executed a sneak attack against Cuha and the S-ranks, an attack that was only foiled by Cuha's quick thinking but which left him to face off alone against a heinous foe that seeks to threaten everything Cuha loves...

Diverting another punch that would have seen his arm blown off, Yuha's grin continued to dim, eyes narrowing and beads of sweat flying free as the fight continued to demand more and more of his focus.

Seeing the follow-up kick coming, his movements shifted, and he attempted to use the techniques of Bang's martial art again, and yet, warning klaxons blared in his head, courtesy of the implanted instincts of dozens of martial artists and even as the technique sputtered, and pain shot up Yuha's arms he grimaced.

At least he'd diverted the worst of it.

The technique, or rather my knowledge of it, is incomplete!

In fact, the only reason he was doing as well as he was, had to do with the fact that he was actively doing his best to incorporate Goku's, Vegeta's and another odd dozen martial artists techniques into the mix as well as allow his implanted instincts to guide him into guessing what the correct follow-up move in the water fist's sequence was.

With said guesses, sometimes panning out.

And sometimes.

"Gkh!"

Spittle flying from his mouth, Yuha ignored the pain from the punch digging in his gut and brought his head forwards, head-butting the monster and wiping the grin of its face and as Sperm opened his mouth, Yuha's mouth opened as well and a beam of golden energy slammed into the creature, driving it backwards.

But he didn't have time to focus on his laughable skill with Bang's technique, not with Black Sperm bearing down on him.

At first glance their strength, ki wise that is? It felt similar enough, and yet, the curious properties of this world's humanity and monsters, and their unwillingness to play well with Ki classification systems was once again rearing its ugly head.

For the monster's strength, speed, etc?

He ducked underneath another blow, rising into a jumping knee kick, causing Sperm to grunt and its head to list backwards before the follow-up ki-blast to the creature's stomach caused Sperm to lean forward again and slam into Yuha's awaiting knee once more, before Yuha's legs used the monster's chest as a springboard, kicking the creature like a mule and jumping backwards a tad.

With Yuha landing a few meters away, on guard, observing.

Sperm grunted again and righted himself, raising one black arm and wiping off a few droplets of dark liquid from his chin.

"That all?"

The bastard was far more resilient than he had any right to be!

It was unfair!

He loved it!

"Far from it, my friend."

And he'd make him pay for daring to harm his green-haired dommy mommy!

"I'm not your friend, you cretin!"

She groaned, both out-loud and in the confines of her mind.

Her thoughts felt scattered, disjointed, and pain wracked her body.

I fell for it like a dumbass! Tatsumaki growled even as she fought to open her eyes, wincing as she did for the roof above her as well as King's scowling visage was there to greet her, in triplicate.

Ignoring her swimming surroundings, she tried to focus, but the pain coupled with Metal Bat's groaning was making it a mite too difficult.

Sorry, King, I know you are raring to go and have to baby me and the brat, but please bare with us just a bit longerTatsumaki's eyes fluttered close unbidden before a distant echoing explosion caused her to snap awake once more. But, at least it's heartening to know that someone else can understand a bit of what it feels like to be me when I have to take care of everyone else, bratty Fubuki included—

Another distant blow, which caused people to scream and the glass panes above to rattle, made her blink. Wait…we're under attack. Where's the Idiot? My thoughts…scattered thoughts. Crap. Concussion.

Groaning again, she grasped this brief window of lucidity with both hands and directed what bits of her power she could muster to halting her internal bleeding and strengthen her brain.

I fell for the oldest trick in the book! She groaned with renewed clarity and trying to push herself upwards, and failing, she nonetheless gazed outside the broken doors of the building where, in the distance and past a couple reporters, two figures could be seen exchanging monumental blows. After all, the weak point of an esper in their brain, that and being caught unprepared.

Watching the Idiot, who'd saved her life fight a desperate battle, she growled and made to stand once more.

"Tornado, please don't push yourself." King grunted in his usual gruff tone. And despite how much it chaffed at her pride, Tatsumaki relented. For if the blood-knight could hold back his battle-lust in favor of protecting her and Bat as well as the crowd from another sneak attack… She could at least heed his words, besides, with how weakened she was testing the man now off all times would be a bad idea.

So instead, she fell back down, her heart letting out a sigh of relief as her pulse slowed down and she continued to stare at the ongoing battle while trying to muster enough strength to repair her body.

She chuckled weakly.

Physician…heal thyself…

This was going nowhere.

"Gkh!"

Thrown back from another punch he'd failed to counter, Yuha tumbled across the pavement, cracking it in the process as he came to a rolling stop against the bark of a tree.

"Hiya!"

Before quickly diving to the side as the poor tree that helped halt his momentum exploded, courtesy of Sperm's follow-up diving kick.

The problem, as usual, related to his lack of strength.

Oh, he was hanging just fine in this fight.

He avoided a spin-kick, snorting.

"Dare to use my own spells against me, Sperm?"

The monster blinked.

"The hell are you talking about? Are you taunting me…Are you looking down on me still, you bastard? Raaargh!"

Shaking his head, Yuha nonetheless offered no reply as he struggled to repel yet another series of deadly blows, seeking to slip in his own counter attacks where he could, ineffective as they were proving to be.

well, no. My hits are doing damage. He slammed an elbow into the monster's face and dodged to the side, avoiding the retaliatory tentacle hit. But if I turn this into a battle of attrition, my chances ain't good.

For the monster was stupid resilient.

Maybe if I could land more hits

Taking advantage of a split second opening, Yuha pulled the relevant details for the technique from his internal database and—

"Gkh!"

Spasms of pain wracked his form, immobilizing him for but a second. But a second enough for Sperm to jump after him with a grin.

"This is no time to woolgather, fool! Mwahaha!"

And punch him square in the sides of his head, sending a groaning Yuha flying. The man slamming through a parked car before smashing into another, its ruined frame serving as an impromptu metal bed.

He groaned as he lay there for half a second, the alarms of the ruined vehicle blaring in his ears.

"Ok, multi-limb technique is out, don't have the control for it—Shit!" Ki exploded from his back and he jumped to the air, avoiding Sperm pulling an off brand dymanic entry.

"Gkh!"

And as the monster grumbled at getting momentarily stuck in the ruined remains of the vehicle, Yuha grinned and with another ki-explosion that sent him into a spinning dive, landed his own kick into the creature's head, before dashing away, back towards the clearing by the building's entrance and away from the nearby apartments and their people.

Ok, so that is out. But I really need something as I can't keep doing this all day. Not yet. Oh, if only I hadn't used Instant Transmission and my power was higher…wait.

A stupid idea entered his head, and a quick check with his computer, even if it left the vi dumbfounded and scratching its metaphorical head, confirmed that it could work. And that was all he needed.

As Sperm charged towards him with a roar, Yuha stood his ground and grinned.

"Hey, Sperm!"

The monster continued to roar and cocked back a fist.

"Catch!" he said and rearing back his arm, threw it forward as if pitching a baseball, making the monster momentarily blink in confusion before, from the tips of Yuha's outstretched fingers his hat materialized, and with transferred momentum sailed straight into Sperm's face.

Making the creature wince and stop, bringing up an arm reflexively.

Yuha roared and his aura flared to life before a grunt of pain left his lips.

Sperm, lowered his arm with a snort.

"What was that supposed to accomplish you buffoon—"

Yuha's bloated and severed arm smacked into Sperm's exposed face a millisecond later. Exploding.

Panting and watching the obscuring smoke, Yuha grunted and a new arm burst into existence with a squelch, sending green juices flying.

Cause if I keep losing arms, I might as well put them to use!

After all, there was nothing saying that his progenitor, Cell, if the man had wanted to, could not have used his self destruction technique in only parts of his body.

18

He gritted his teeth at his base level reading.

Still, even if only in part. The technique still took its toll and when coupled with the ongoing fighting…

I need to put an end to this fast, assuming the bastard survived and—The smoke cleared, and even if rather more bloodied than before, one eye shut, the monster still looked more or less fine. Yeah. About what I expected. So, I need to put him down while I still have some gas left in the tank. But how?

Sperm kicked towards him, and Yuha cursed. For with his now even further lowered strength, the monster seemed even faster. After all, Kaio-ken and Roshi's technique only amplified what was already there. They didn't conjure strength from straight up nothing.

He winced as a hit grazed his shoulder, a nasty bruise already beginning to form.

With how close our strengths are, if I hit him with something big he's a goner, but, I rather doubt he'd give me the chance to charge a full kamehameha…

He blinked and a smile spread across his lips, and even as Sperm's leg crushed into Yuha's face, sending him sailing backwards, the smile remained undimmed on his bloody lips.

That could work!

Even if her limbs trembled, Regina's voice remained cool as ice.

"—And as you can clearly see my dear viewers, the brave hero is trying his best while behind me sir King is still holding the fort, protecting the rest of the gathered people and the wounded S-ranks, no doubt, the man is itching to join the fight, but until reinforcements arrive, Yuha must continue fighting alone."

A monumental blow caused the earth around the two combatants to crack, spiderwebs forming as the hero, arms over his head and with his already impressive bulk beginning to swell further pushed the monster away and out of the small trench their clash had formed.

Regina felt the urge to pee herself and yet she remained stoic, mic at hand, back straight as she continued to report.

"And yet, even though the battle has been going on for some minutes now, our brave hero is clearly starting to tire, as does the despicable monster, and yet. Of the two, Bang's latest pupil, is clearly at a disadvantage."

Further up ahead, amidst the broken cobblestones, ruined tarmac, and downed trees Yuha roared again, his muscles swelling even further, his height shooting up another couple of inches and yet…for all of his new strength, his blows seemed to come slower and slower.

"Is…is everything lost?" Regina asked, the tiniest of quivers in her voice. "Are we doomed?"

At that moment, ducking under one of Yuha's slow punches, the monster, haughty smirk in place rose in a spinning upper-cut, its punch causing Yuha's head to jerk backwards even as the rest of the hero's body lifted into the air.

Regina blinked.

Cause for but an instant, in the hero's face, she could have sworn that—

Tatsumaki growled as she observed the fight with both her physical senses and not.

For despite her best efforts, she'd failed to recover, only managing to achieve a sort of equilibrium. A delicate balancing act where she couldn't do much but where she could also think somewhat clearly and was in no further danger.

And yet…

Watching the Idiot continue to fight a no doubt desperate battle, a battle where, if any of the three S-ranks were not forced to hang back, each of them could clap the pest with ease. It irritated her seeing such a promising man's life hang in the balance and simply due to her foolishly letting her guard down and having to be saved. Her off all people!

Idiot

Still, even if she couldn't interfere, she had enough strength left to be able to catch enough of the Idiot's stray thoughts as the battle processed and his brain's usual…chatter started to fade.

Tatsumaki's lips twitched into the tiniest of smiles.

It was good to know that what Fubuki had seen was, in fact, the truth.

For the Idiot was indeed a good man…even if he was as much a battle-junkie as King was…and unlike the blond S-rank, Yuha, despite the confident image he liked to portray was apparently more or less constantly fearing for his life.

She snorted.

Idiot! We'll have to fix that…

As the battle progressed, Tatsumaki, watching Yuha's unorthodox techniques, couldn't help but snort, and then she caught wind of bits of his plan and she approved.

For risky gamble or not, it would risk harm to only himself.

And then the moment came, and Tatsumaki's eyes widened.

He won't make it in time!

She wanted to help, but couldn't.

And no one else was there to offer a lending hand.

…That was a lie. She could help but, if she did…

She came to a decision.

Yuha rose to the air, grin in place even if Sperm's punch hurt like hell and he used the momentum of the blow coupled with a few bursts of Ki to spin in place and come to a hovering stop. The excessive bulk of a stage nine kaio-ken and a full Roshi bleeding off now that they'd accomplished their purpose, namely baiting Sperm. Yuha stood tall, gazing downwards, rushing to bring his arms forward.

For I need power, power akin to a Kamehameha but without the charge time—

"Hah! You fool!" Sperm gloated and the monster's legs tensed, preparing to jump up after him just as Yuha's hands formed a triangle.

Shit! Just another second or two!

But then, his lucky break came in the form of a massive green aura forming around Sperm's body, freezing him in place.

"Gkh! W-what?"

Yuha's eyes widened and his grin bloomed in full once more.

Tatsumaki! You're the best tinny dommy mommy! He shouted in his head, and focused through his hands triangle. Staring down at the doomed monster.

This would drain his very lifeforce, yes. And yet. What was lifeforce to a nigh immortal. But more importantly, what was lifeforce to a spiral warrior and what was lifeforce in the face of protecting the innocent.

"You're done!" Yuha roared and Sperm's eyes could but bulge as the green aura holding him faded just as an ominous glow radiated in-between Yuha's fingers.

"G##A Shin Kikoho!" he thundered, and a beam of golden death intermixed with green radiated down from above, slamming into the screaming Sperm.

"Ki-Ko-hooo!" Beam after beam launched from in between the triangle formed by Yuha's hands. Digging a deep square trench into the ground. And, after a few more full power blasts, he let go of the technique.

Hovering on the air, gasping for breath, his lungs burning, limbs trembling, and sweat trailing down in rivulets across his body.

He'd pushed it further than needed, yes.

Yuha could no longer feel Sperm after the first blast, but, in such matters its best to be sure.

Still. The technique took its toll.

Gasping, he lowered himself in a controlled fall, and let Kaio-ken slip down all the way to a stage three.

Did he need it? Probably not, and yet it was best to be on guard.

"E-excuse me, Mister Yuha, may I have a word—"

At the sound of the approaching reporter, Yuha internally groaned and yet, he slammed his All Might smile back in place and turned towards the woman before he gazed past her. Into the building where he'd jumped out off and—

Shit! Tinny mommy!

He remembered!

"Bwahaha! But of course," he said with a laugh, even if it hurt to laugh. "But not just yet, if you'll excuse me, I need to see to the safety of my fellow heroes first," he said and with a nod swept past the two women.

"O-oh! Y-yes, of course…"

But he paid them little heed as he rushed into the building, past the gaping and cheering crowd and jumped onto the platform, dashing towards the stoic King and the frowning if still woozy Metal Bat.

And in between the two…

"H-how is she?" he asked, anger slipping past his facade as he stared down at the unconscious Tatsumaki and he clenched his palms hard enough that his nails drew blood.

King stared back at him with sorrow in his eyes.

"Unless help makes it here in time…" he shrugged while Metal Bat, staring at the quickly growing red spot in the front of the unconscious woman's dress, slammed his fist down into the wooden platform, breaking the wood.

"Damn it!"

And Yuha couldn't help but agree.

I should have made Sperm suffer more! He growled. First she saved my bacon against Vaccine and then after the Subterraneans, and now she dies to a fuckin sneak attack?! That's not fair! If only Cell had bothered to learn Dende's or anyone else's healing technique…

Neurons fired. A connection was made and his eyes stretched wide.

Wait, Cell… Tatsumaki. That's it!

He quickly kneeled next to the tiny woman and, shutting his eyes, brow furrowing in concentration, placed an arm above the site of the injury. He was no healer, and he still had no idea how to access spiral power, and yet, if he had but the tiniest bits of luck…

Leaning and pulling from a certain aspect of Cell's genetic makeup, Yuha utilized a technique that till now he had little reason to focus on.

Still, with his heart hammering from the effort and sweat dripping down his brow, he was thankful that the arcosian tyrant was part of his makeup.

"What are you—" Metal Bat asked.

"Shh!" only for King to shush him, the otaku man's gamer instincts no doubt hard at work here. Something for which Yuha was rather thankful for. After all, telekinesis on this scale was hard. And yes, technically any Ki-user could do it, but the Arcosian, and by extension Cell had a special knack for it.

And it was this inherited, if diluted skill that he had to thank for the weak gasp that reached his ear and caused him to smile and crack open an eyelid, about all he could spare due to the focus required.

"Welcome back."

"I…Idiot…" Tatsumaki mumbled, voice weak and Yuha closed his eye.

"I'm doing what I can here," he said, voice straining. "But I can only deal with the bigger blood vessels. I don't trust myself touching the rest and even if I did, this technique." The technique that Fubuki and then Tatsumaki had saved his life with. "Is…new, to me. Unfamiliar." And wasn't that the truth, back in basic, he'd learned to kill good. Not how to 'Doctor good' and neither Cell or Freeza had any interest in that to begin with.

The tiny beauty did not reply with words, and yet, within his mind's eye, small green tendrils, weak and trembling, threaded with his own mental fingers, further halting the woman's internal bleeding, and making her sigh in relief.

And oh boy, did seeing, feeling the woman in pain spark a rage in his heart akin to no other.

Unbeknownst to him, his hair trembled and swayed the tiniest bit.

An unbidden thought and the ensuing realization made him blink and snort.

Ah…So that's why Snape was warning me against this method.

Eh. There were worse things than brainwashing himself in adoring a girl he already liked.

"-ose, Snape?"

He winced.

"Just an old teacher of mine, not important," he sent back and frowned. For even if between the two of them, they'd succeeded in stabilizing her. Yuha wasn't certain nor could he rely on help arriving before either his strength or Tatsumaki's failed.

That Kikoho drained more out of him than he thought.

"Mommy, I have an idea," he sent and blinked."Err, I mean, Tatsumaki, yes."

"Idiot!" the girl huffed. "What is it?"

He licked his lips.

"Those tricks I've been using, my techniques, my power?" He asked. "I can grant you that same power. Or rather a spark of it, and it will boost your overall strength and resilience, amongst other things."

For a few seconds, the woman was silent, mulling it over as much as she could with her wounds and scattered thoughts.

"And the cost?" she asked. "The drawbacks? For if I have to look like you, then"

He snorted.

"What? What is it?" Metal Bat asked.

"Simply talking with Tornado, discussing our options," he slurred and shut out the outside world again.

"No drawbacks," he said and Tatsumaki snorted.

"No, wait, I'm serious," he added, trying to imbue his mental words with all the sincerity he could. "There is no cost or drawback in the traditional sense, for I'm merely awakening your own body's, your own soul's power. Your Qi if you prefer to think of it in martial arts terms!"

"If that was the case, you wouldn't have bothered asking, so, what's the catch, Idiot?"

He sighed. Truly, dommy mommy had the best instincts.

"Hmf!"

"You're right, of course, there is a 'catch', that is, you risk either causing some damage to yourself or maybe even dying during the awakening process. Beyond that, nothing. I've already kick-started Bang's and his student's Ki. And while the first merely complained that it hurt a bit, his pupil nearly bit it. And with the state you're in, mommy—Tatsumaki…"

He could feel the woman's eyeroll.

"I can taste your sincerity, you fool. Fine, go for it. It's not like we have that many options…"

Yuha nodded.

"If you're sure…" he spoke out-loud.

"I am," the girl replied in kind and he focused.

Reaching deep inside the girl with his Ki, searching, grasping, and at last finding her Ki. The energy chained behind Tatsumaki's limiter, and with a roar and a flash of something staring back, which caused blood to leak from his nose, Yuha's soul punched the limiter, causing a deep crack and making Tatsumaki jerk and scream as the girl's Ki flowed freely for the first time.

Time ceased to hold any meaning for him.

"-uha? -ou goo—?"

He didn't know where he was or what he'd done. All he knew was that it'd been important, as was the fact that his fingers which were not his physical fingers were holding onto…something. Something that was part of something precious. So, he continued to hold as if his life depended on it.

"I-ot!" the friendly voice huffed. "…thank yo-" his ears that were not ears were failing him, it would seem. But no matter, he hodl all the way to the moon!

Light begun to dim around him, wherever he was, and sleep beckoned, but still he didn't let go.

"It's —right, we're —re, let go, Y—a" another familiar voice said, one that was related to the first? But no, he couldn't let go. He wouldn't.

"It's alright, Id—. Sleep." The voice said and he felt a hand that was not a hand touch his soul's hair, ruffling them, the act startling him and causing him to let go. And then the exhaustion hit him.

Unconsciousness claimed him.
