Hello folks, Chapter 92 is here! This week, Link's feeling a bit out of it and Nabooru's taken it upon herself to make sure he has a good day. The question is, will she succeed...?
In the vast plains of Hyrule Field, a lone female knight was walking through the grassy plains, gazing down at the map that was leading her to Gerudo Valley. She stopped in her tracks and turned back to look out at Hyrule Castle Town.
"I can't believe it's been ten years already," whispered the woman, "Can I truly do this, even knowing what will happen...?"
Her thoughts drifted to a distant memory of someone kneeling down and smiling at her, before they turned and went off on their way. She reached down and gripped at the handle of one of the two swords she had on her belt.
"Argh! Help, someone!" shouted a voice, getting the knight's attention.
She turned to see a family of travelers under attack by a group of Lizalfos. The creatures were wielding spear and eagerly rushing at the Hylians. The father at the front blocked off the lizard creatures with his sword, but they easily knocked him back. His wife was behind him, holding their children protectively.
Before the Lizalfos could even land a blow on them however, a swift and brutal swing from behind caused the reptilian monsters to screech out in pain before they all fell to the ground lifelessly, and evaporate into purple mist. The family looked up in surprise at the lady knight who delivered the blow. She was holding one of her swords in a upward and the other sword downward.
"Are you citizens unhurt?" spoke the knight.
"Oh yes, thank you so much!" sobbed the father of the family, bowing his head to her.
"It was my pleasure." knight said sheathing her swords. She looked over to see the mother was holding her two kids, who had been cowering in fear of the monsters. They felt a shadow over them, and looked up to see the lady knight bowed down on one knee and looked them over.
"And are the two of you okay?" the knight spoke in a soft tone.
The two children looked up at her, seeing the compassionate look in her eyes, and nodded with small smiles.
"Oh thank you so much," spoke the mother of the family, "Back when I was a young girl they didn't allow women to be knights, but you're so brave, and beautiful too! What's you name, lady knight?"
"My name doesn't matter, just as long as you're all safe." spoke the knight standing up, leaving the family curious as she walked off, "Farewell, and safe travels."
When the lady knight had walked far enough away from the family, she took a deep breath and nodded to herself, "That's right, this is my resolve." she muttered, "I've made my peace, and I will not back down from my mission. The Gerudo King will shall die by my sword-hand."
The knight continued on down the trail as she followed the map, stopping for a brief moment to think about the children she had saved not too long ago,
"This is for Hyrule and it's people, so they can be safe, and keep smiling..."
"Wait, so Sheeva was going at you for the whole two days?"
"Yeah, she was pretty insistent on it..."
The young Gerudo King Link was laying in his sleeping quarters on his bed of pillows while Nabooru was laying back beside him stroking the soft bleached hair on his head. The young king looked completely drained and exhausted.
It had been two days since Sheeva first came over to Gerudo Town to mate with Link and have children with him. No one had seen Link since he went into the bedroom with her, even whenever the servants came with his meals Sheeva would take it for him. The wolfos leader had just left not too long ago with a very satisfied look in her eyes, and when Nabooru came to check in on Link she saw him in the state he was now.
"She may be part human, but I guess she's still quite an animal, huh? You poor thing, can I get you anything?" Nabooru asked with a gentle smile.
"Maybe a Great Fairy's Tears...?" Link groaned out, confusing Nabooru.
"Or maybe what you just need is some rest. You've been pushing yourself pretty hard lately." Nabooru said, "Between rebel attacks, satisfying your fiances, and going on all those missions and adventures, I think you need some time off, at least a day or two."
"N-No, I'm fine... I don't need to..." Link spoke getting himself up, only to fall back down again.
"Nonsense Link, I won't hear any objections. I've been running this place for six years before you showed up. Let me handle things." Nabooru smirked, giving Link a kiss on the cheek and heading out from the room. There were some servants at the door to which she said, "King Link needs his rest today, please see to all his needs, and make sure no one interrupts him, not even his fiances."
"Of course Lady Nabooru." the servants said bowing to her.
The servants went in as Nabooru closed the door behind her. But before she even began to leave down the hall she heard someone speak from the inside,
"Now my king, how about we take off those clothes and have some fun, hu hu hu..."
Suddenly the door was kicked open and Nabooru stood glaring at the servants, who were in the middle of undressing Link, only to all jump back in surprise of her immediate reaction. She stood there with her eyes giving off an eerie gleam as the aura of a giant desert serpent surrounded her.
"I said, let, him, rest. Got it?" Nabooru asked with a very low but angry tone.
"Y-Y-Yes Lady Nabooru..." said one of the servants meekly, as she and the others quickly started redressing Link and setting him up comfortably on his bed. One servant was fluffing up some pillows to make them more cushiony, one girl took to messaging his feet, while two more were frantically fanning him off.
"I think I'll be alright." Link chuckled weakly, "Thanks Nabooru."
"Of course, have a good day Link." Nabooru nodded as she turned to leave.
After the door closed, the servant messaging Link's feet paused for a moment, before she started to try and pull off his pants again...
...but then a spear went flying through the door and impacted into the ground inches away from the servant's hand. She and the other servants all paused, before they went to just devoting themselves to caring for their king's comfort.
"So how are they at the moment?"
"Just fine Nabs, Ragome should be giving birth any day now, though Esolu still seems to have some time to go." Sarami said consulting her medical chart, having just came to check in on Link's childbearers, "And Tulisi is getting along splendidly! Leivuri is doing a wonderful job caring for her!" she added, referring to Link's first Gerudo child.
"Glad to hear that Sarami." Nabooru nodded, "Why don't you go ahead and take the rest of the day off? You deserve it."
"You know what? I think I will, thanks Nabs," Sarami said, she started to walk off, but stopped and looked over her shoulder, "You know, you should give yourself some time off too."
"Eh, maybe... but not right now, I have to make sure things go smoothly today." Nabooru shrugged.
"Well... alright then. Give Link-sweetie my regards, and my love, okay?" she added with a mischievous wink as she turned and went off on her way.
"Heh..." Nabooru chuckled lightly with a slight blush to her face.
She was so happy to see Sarami smiling like that. She could still remember the sorrow on her face years ago when her baby died from childbirth and Ganondorf had exiled her. Seeing Sarami so full of life and energy was a huge contrast from before, and Nabooru couldn't be happier to know Link was going to marry her old friend. She almost considered letting Sarami go to visit Link for a quick session of love-making, but shook her head.
'I can't allow Link to push himself today.' Nabooru thought to herself, 'He's done so much for us and his fiances lately, he needs his rest, and I have to do everything I can to see to it. That includes no distractions and no interruptions.'
She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard some footsteps, and saw Aviel running past her. Nabooru quickly whipped around and grabbed the bird girl by her top.
"Gack, h-hey Lady Nabooru!" Aviel said with a wave as she hung in midair.
"Aviel, I know you want to see Link, but I need you to leave him be for today." Nabooru said.
"Awww, but we were going to go out and do some shopping, and Papa said he wanted to have that duel with Link today!" Aviel said, referring to her father Kozun who was still in town with his wife Amala.
"Well he'll just have to wait until another time." Nabooru said simply, starting to walk off while carrying Aviel, "Link's resting right now and doesn't need to be doing any fighting."
"Uh, see the thing of that is... Papa's not the type to let a challenge go..." Aviel said trailing off.
Nabooru felt a strange sense of unease at Aviel's words. Her eyes widened as she dropped the bird girl and ran off to Link's bedroom. Upon bursting in she saw the servants were trying to fend off Kozun as he was brandishing his sword, trying to provoke Link into fighting him.
"Alright son-in-law, time to take a break from these sexy ladies and fight me!" Kozun said with a big grin, as he wiped his nose of blood from the sight of all the beautiful Gerudo servants trying to defend Link.
"We already told you, the king needs his rest!" a servant protested.
"Yeah, we're not even going to try and have our way with him until later today!" said another servant.
"Hey, I'm laying right here you know." Link said annoyed.
"A true man can take on any challenge at any time!" Kozun said, grabbing his own shirt and ripping it off to show just how ready he was to fight. "If you want to prove yourself to me son-in-law, draw your blade!"
But then bursting through the door was Nabooru, getting everyone's attention. Nabooru looked with an angry, almost demonic stare at Kozun, who gulped a bit,
"Uh oh."
"Our king... needs... his rest!" shouted Nabooru before she charged forward and bashed Kozun in the jaw with her fist, sending him flying out of his pants and went soaring out of the palace from the balcony window.
Aviel's mother Amala was sitting at a bar, enjoying a few drinks with some old friends of hers from before she left the valley with Kozun, exchanging stories of what they've been doing over the past years.
"So tell us Amala, what's this husband of yours like?!"
"Yeah, is he anything like Aviel the Birdbrain?"
"Not sure where my daughter got that nickname..." Amala said sweatdropping, "But my husband is a brave and strong warrior, very focused, and never one to do anything vulgar."
That was when a large object went flying across the town, through the window of the bar, and crashed right into a wall. It was Kozun, who was in the nude after having been clobbered by Nabooru. He twitched slightly from the impact, before slowly sliding down the wall and hitting the ground in a daze.
"H-Hello Amala dearest..." Kozun muttered with his eyes spiraling.
"Is this your husband...?" one of Amala's friends asked.
"... ...never seen him before in my life." Amala simply said, before going back to her drink.
After making Aviel leave the palace with Nemisa and Saria, Nabooru went to work notifying all the guards to not allow any visitors into the palace for the day so Link could have his private time.
"Okay, now with that done, time to get back to work on more planning for the meeting with our allies next month." Nabooru said, walking off toward her study, "I should probably have some lunch ordered later today... hopefully nothing ridiculous gets in the way of-"
"Lady Nabooru!" a guards shouted running up to her, "A Digdogger is attacking the town from the south!"
"What? Here of all places?!" Nabooru exclaimed, before thinking to herself, 'This is bad, Digdoggers are capable of creating earthquakes. If Link feels the shaking, he might try to come help...'
Without a word, Nabooru turned and ran off to her private room to get her scimitars.
Outside, the guards were fending off the monster Digdogger, it was a large round creature with a single eyeball and six small legs. It scurried around shooting off small beams from it's eye at the Gerudo fighting it. One Gerudo smacked at it with her sword but the attack deflected off it's thick hide.
"This thing's tough!" a guard said, "We need some more strength!"
Nabooru jumped up onto the top of the wall protecting the south side of the town. She looked out at the guards fending off the Digdogger, and leaped down to the ground before sprinting at the monster.
"Lady Nabooru?" exclaimed a guard.
"Our king is trying to REST!" shouted Nabooru to the monster.
She lunged out and struck at the Digdogger with her scimitars. She dealt a powerful blow despite it's thick hide, causing it to screech out and spin around. Nabooru and the guards kept their distance, avoiding the rocks it threw out as it spun. The Digdogger came to a stop, scowled in annoyance of being hurt by this new opponent, and leaped into the air. It didn't land on anyone, but it impacting on the ground released a powerful shockwave. Nabooru held her ground and gritted her teeth as the shockwave surged through her, she just shook it off and went back in on the offense.
The creature tried to smack at Nabooru with it's legs, but the Gerudo leader effortlessly blocked one leg before slicing off the next, making the Digdogger screech out. Nabooru then motioned to the other guards to run in and distract it while she ran forward and went straight at the monster. She jammed her scimitar into the Digdogger's eye, causing it to screech out and back up.
"Lady Nabooru you did it!" said a guard.
"Yes, maybe now we can-"
Nabooru's words were cut off through when the Digdogger pulled a new move. It trashed around a bit before it's body came apart into pieces, and it was now six smaller versions of itself. They all started screeching out in a light pitched tone and sliding around on the sand randomly.
"Oh right, forgot they could do that." Nabooru said sweatdropping, "Guards, strike them down!"
"Aw, but they're kinda cute like this!" said one guard.
"Just do it already, if at least one of those things are still alive the monster can reform itself!" Nabooru shouted in frustration, as she and the guards quickly chased after the miniature Digdoggers.
It wasn't long after that Nabooru brought down her scimitars on the last of them, destroying the monster entirely. Nabooru let out a sigh and sheathed her scimitars as the guards all huddled around her, congratulating and thanking her for her help.
"Alright, time to get back to the palace before-"
"Lady Nabooru! There's another monster in the palace!" called out a guard from the gate wall.
Nabooru faulted over so massively she made a huge impression in the sand.
"How the hell did that happen?!" Nabooru shouted, leaping back over the wall and running off to the palace.
Nabooru ran into the palace and started immediately searching for the monster. She ran into some guards who told her the monster was moving around the palace, seemingly aimlessly.
"We can't allow Link to find out about this." Nabooru said, "Split up and hunt it down!"
The guards nodded and ran off as Nabooru charged through the hallways, keeping her ears open for anything suspicious. She approached the door to Link's bedroom, and looked inside, seeing Link was laying back as one of the servants was feeding him grapes.
"Hey Link, just checking on you!" Nabooru called out with a wave.
"Hi Nabooru, I'm doing fine!" Link waved back, "You okay there? You look flushed."
It was then a loud noise could be heard outside, it sounds like some things breaking and the guards all shouting out war cries. Nabooru sweatdropped as she stared at Link and the servants, all looking somewhat concerned.
"Fine! Everything's fine! The guards are... on their lunch break!" Nabooru said making a large nervous smile, "You just keep relaxing!"
Nabooru shut the door, gripped her scimitars and muttered to herself, "The monster will pay for this."
Nabooru charged through the halls, looking left and right cautiously as she listened for any unusual noise. She then heard a strange clomping sound that echoed through the hall. She cautiously stood, before turning to a storeroom door near her, she could swear she heard a chewing sound from inside. Without hesitation, Nabooru brought up her leg and kicked the door open before jumping in with her blades out.
"Hold it you!" Nabooru shouted to the trespasser.
Inside the room was a large four legged monster, slouched over one of the crates in the room eating at some of the food that was inside of it. The creature belched out and wiped off their mouth, before turning slowly to Nabooru.
"I don't know how you got into the palace, monster..." Nabooru said, "But I hope you enjoyed your last meal!"
Nabooru rushed at the monster with her scimitars, but came to a stop when she realized just what the creature was. It's four legs were horse-like, it had long wild red hair with horns sticking out of it, and a pair of familiar yellow cat-like eyes. It also wore a yellow tunic and a straw hat with a flower sticking out from it.
"What in tarnation...?" groaned a voice with a slight country accent to it, "I was just taking a bit of a nap in the barn and all of a sudden I'm..."
"Wait, it's you Togau?!" exclaimed Nabooru, "What are you doing here?!"
"Oh, howdy Lady Nabooru!" Togau grinned sheepishly, changing herself back from her Lynel form to a Gerudo, "Must have went sleepwalkin' again. Sorry bout that, I'm hopin' ya don't think I was a monster or something!"
Nabooru just stood there blankly as Togau looked at her somewhat nervously. The Gerudo leader then lunged at her with her blades out.
"You idiot!" Nabooru shouted.
"Woah! Hey! Careful with those!" Togau shouted as she quickly ran out of the storeroom with Nabooru in hot pursuit.
"Ugh... what a pain..." Nabooru groaned, rubbing the back of her neck. She had the guards escort Togau back to the livestock ranch, and the Gerudo leader was now back to walking through the palace to ensure everything was in order, "For Togau to be sleepwalking again of all times..."
Nabooru made it into her study and collapsed on her chair, she laid back and put a hand to her head.
'When I first planned to have Link become our new king, I hoped all he would have to do is just be supportive of the Gerudo and help our population growth, and yet between the banishment, the rebels, the parliament, and now this cult they encountered in the Rito's village... it seems instead of bringing Link the happiness I wanted him to have, I keep bringing him more pain and hardship...'
She ran her hand down her face, her fingers tracing around her nose and mouth, as she reflected on something that had been bothering her for some time.
'And those times when he gets so furious...' Nabooru thought, recalling when Aviel first mentioned it way back during the caravan trip. How he went into a blind rage after finding out the bandits interfering with the caravans were Hylian knights, and another time when she saw it for herself in the Spirit Temple when he confronted Twinrova to save Kesuta and Korume,
'He was seventeen back when all that happened too... I'm afraid to wonder, could that possibly be him being called by those... monsters? Could Link possibly be the next one...?'
She brought her hand to her heart and closed her eyes, recalling a emroy from her earlier years...
"No," she spoke out loud, shaking her head, "No it can't be that... I'm just over-worrying, that's it."
There was a knock on the door, jolting Nabooru out of her thoughts, when she answered it she saw the towering muscular woman known as Reirousa there. She leaned over to get her head through the door.
"Reirousa, what are you doing here?" Nabooru asked.
"Sup Lady Nabooru, is Link around right now? He's way too overdue for his weight training today!" Reirousa spoke.
"Link won't be doing any sort of training for the next few days Reirousa, he's resting from his visit with Sheeva."
"Aw, jees. That sucks." Reirousa muttered rubbing the back of her neck, "And I was going to start him on the one hundred pound weights today..."
"What, do you miss him that much already?" Nabooru suggested with a light smirk. She and the others all knew about Reirousa's obvious crush on Link for a while now.
Reirousa's face flushed a bright red at Nabooru question, "Wha- n-NO! The hell with that! I ain't attracted to that guy in any way, GOT IT?!"
"Okay, okay, just lower your voice!" Nabooru said frantically, "I don't want Link to be disturbed!"
"You know what? Forget it, rest is for the weak!" Reirousa said stomping off, "Yo Link, I'm putting ya through yer training now!"
"Oh no you don't!" Nabooru shouted, jumping at Reirousa to stop her, only to bash into her back like it was a brick wall and fall to the floor, the hulking woman didn't even seem to notice as she stomped down the hall, "I command you to leave him alone!"
Nabooru was grabbing Reirousa's arm trying and failing to pull her back, but the large woman was too distracted by her leader's teasing from a second ago to hear her.
"I don't like him like that..." muttered Reirousa to herself, "So what if he's getting tougher and buffer... that just means he's real man... those strong abs of his... the way he sweats when he pumps iron... the feeling of his biceps when I measure them... the way he gets so close to my face when I spot him for sit ups..."
At that point Nabooru realized Reirousa had stopped. The Gerudo leader looked up and saw as sweat was spilling down the training general's body, and steam was rising up from her head.
"Uh, you okay there Reirousa?" Nabooru asked.
Two seconds later Reirousa bashed her own head into the wall on her right, leaving a sizable dent in it. She looked to Nabooru with a flustered expression in her eyes as some blood trickled down from her scalp, though she didn't seem to notice that.
"I said I'm fine damnit! Now I gotta go see Link!" Reirousa said as she stomped off down the hall.
"Hey, that wall is coming out of your salary!" Nabooru protested, pointing to the dent.
Soon Reirousa knocked open the door to Link's bedroom, despite Nabooru's best effort to hold her back, only for the two to see Link wasn't in the room. All who was in there was some of the servants playing cards.
"Huh? Where's Link?" Nabooru asked, peeking out from behind Reirousa.
"Ah Lady Nabooru! Link said he wanted to take bath so we led him to the bathing chambers." said a servant.
"We sent some of the others to help wash him." said another servant, placing down a card, "Read em and weep."
"Damnit!" shouted the other servant throwing down her hand.
"Oh, that's fine I guess." Nabooru sighed, "As long as none of his fiances try to bother him."
"Uh, speaking of which..." Reirousa brought up, "I thought I saw that fish in the palace."
"Fish?" Nabooru asked.
"Yeah the princess girl, she was looking for the bathroom... what was her name again.. Rolo or something...?" Reirousa pondered.
Nabooru just stood there blankly, before she got increasingly frustrated and shouted out various obscenities that would shock the gods of Hyrule, before running off down the hall towards the bathroom.
"AH-HA!" shouted Nabooru bursting into the bathroom, gasping for breath as Reirousa ran up right behind her.
"Oh Lady Nabooru! So nice to see you!" spoke Queen Ruto of the Zoras sitting in the water of the spacious bath fountain. She had been quickly pushing something into the water and sporting a wide innocent smile, "Were you hoping to take a bath right now?"
"Lady Nabooru, help!"
Nabooru looked down to see the servants were on the floor restrained by strange bubbles around their wrists, she looked up at Ruto and narrowed her eyes, "Don't give me that, where the hell is Link, and what are these girls wearing?"
"Oh, these are merely one of my new tricks that I've learned with my powers awakened!" Ruto said with a haughty laugh, "These bubbles work like handcuffs to restrain my target!"
"Ooookaaaay, now I'll ask again, where the hell is Link?" Nabooru said, "He's exhausted and needs to relax!"
Nabooru then noticed some bubbles coming up from the bathwater, and Ruto quickly reacted by pulling Link out from it, making him cough out and gasp for breath.
"Oh Link! There you are!" Ruto said with a wide innocent smile, "Were you practicing holding your breath?"
Link glared in annoyance at Ruto and spayed water out from his mouth into her face.
"I'm fine Nabooru." Link groaned, "I went in for a bath and Ruto came right in afterwards."
"Oh for crying out loud. Link, I'm so sorry about this." Nabooru walked over to Link and helped him out of the water, turning and glaring at Ruto, "You release my servants, now."
"Fine, fine, I'm sorry..." Ruto sighed, snapping her fingers which caused the bubbles to pop which freed the servants. Ruto sported a small grin to Nabooru, "You really look out for my Linky-poo, don't you?"
"Linky-poo?" Link muttered sweatdropping.
"...Reirousa, can you help me get Link to his bedroom?" Nabooru asked, ignoring Ruto's remark.
"uh..."
They all turned to Reirousa who was just standing there. Her eyes were widened as she was looking directly at Link, namely the fact that he was completely nude, and saw a certain something between his legs.
They all looked on as blood suddenly blasted out from Reirousa's nostrils like a geyser, propelling her backwards and crashing to the ground.
"..." Link, Nabooru, Ruto and the servants all were motionless as they saw Reirousa laying on the ground in a pool of nose blood, and her eyes were spiraling with dizziness.
"...Ruto, I blame you for this." Nabooru said narrowing her eyes.
"Ah heh heh..." Ruto giggled innocently.
"Nabooru it's really okay," Link said trying to get up, only to be kept down by the servants by the Gerudo leader's command, "I'm used to Ruto smothering me with affection like that."
"Well not right now, not when you're trying to rest. You push yourself way too hard." Nabooru said.
"Heh, I guess a bit of you rubbed off on me than, huh?" Link said with a cheeky grin.
Nabooru realized what he meant, recalling how much she'd push herself before, which made Link decide to appoint Halei as her assistant. She couldn't help but laugh a little at that remark.
"Point taken. Just try and take it easy, okay?" Nabooru ran a hand along his cheek and gave him a friendly kiss on the nose, before turning and leaving the bedroom. Link couldn't help himself but stare at her swaying hips as she left and closed the door behind her.
Link put a hand to his cheek, blushing from the touch Nabooru gave her. The lovely Gerudo leader always had a way of driving him wild even after all this time.
"You really have it bad for her, don't you King Link?" giggled a servant fanning him, "We've all seen it ourselves, and I know some day she's going to make you a lovely Grand Queen."
"Yeah, and maybe even be a great mother of your future children!" giggled another servant rubbing his legs down.
Link focused deeply on that last comment; as he found himself imaging coming into the bedroom to see Nabooru lying back on his bed in a lavish desert queen's skimpy silk outfit that showed off her large breasts and a pair of thick, powerful legs. One hand of hers would be stroking her perfectly round pregnant belly. The servants would be seeing to Grand Queen Nabooru's well-being, pampering her like a queen and mother should, hand-feeding her whatever her heart desired while massaging her all over with oils and lotions. Link would approach her and she'd give a seductive lustful smile, while he would send the servants out so the two could indulge in a little private passion together...
The young king snapped out of his thoughts, and glanced over at the servants sporting mischievous and knowing grins.
"Believe me girls, I'd love that myself." Link chuckled, "But something's holding her back, and I'm still not sure what's keeping her from being able to accept my proposal..."
The reality was he knew somewhat about her problem, she was still too attached to the man she once loved who was killed by Ganondorf. He just respected her privacy and never told it to anyone else. But in addition he also felt there was something else to all this that she hadn't mentioned to him yet...
'I guess we all still have secrets we're too afraid to talk about...' Link thought as he dwelled on the dark spirit he had been seeing in his dreams...
Nabooru walked down the hall and sighed out. She had gotten Reirousa to the medical room to rest from her loss of blood, while she sent Ruto back to Zora's Domain to reflect on her actions at the bathroom.
"I swear, sometimes I feel like I'm everyone's mother around here." groaned Nabooru.
"Whoooo!" she heard a young sounding voice squealing out, "Bring us some more drinks heeeere!"
"Aviel, get a hold of yourself!" she heard an older woman shout.
"Oh no." Nabooru slapped her forehead as she went to see what was going on.
She came into the dining room where Aviel was hanging off Nemisa's shoulder. The dancer and bodyguard was trying to carry Aviel with one arm and Saria in another arm.
"Lady Nabooru, can you help me with these two?" Nemisa asked frantically as Aviel was trying to climb around on her while Saria was huddled close, burying her face into Nemisa's silk waist sash.
"Just what happened to these two...?" Nabooru asked walking up to the three. She noticed something about the two's eyes that were off and noted a certain potent smell in the air, "Wait, they're both drunk?!"
"I don't know how it happened, we stopped at a drink stand to get some juice, and they started acting all strange like this!" Nemisa said.
"Whoooo... the world is spinning..." Saria said, turning to Nabooru with her eyes spiraling and sporting a slap-happy smile on her face.
"Uuuuggh... give me strength Goddess Aifet." Nabooru groaned, taking Aviel and sitting her down on a seat, "Just who the hell gave these two liquor?!"
"I'm not sure, we just went to that little juice bar over near the shopping district, but I don't get how they could have gotten drunk. That place doesn't even serve alcoholic beverages." Nemisa sighed as she fanned off Saria who was now laying in her lap.
"We'll just have to keep an eye on them until the alcohol works it's way out of their system, I can't have them giving Link a hard tim-"
"Link?! Wheeeee! I wanna go play with Link! Hahahaa!" Aviel shouted in a laughing fit, flapping her Roc's Wings and starting to get airborne, as Nabooru panicked and tried to stop her.
"Oh no you don't! Link isn't in the mood to play!" Nabooru snapped at her.
"Then maaaybe we could get something to eat theeen?" Aviel suggested, sporting a lewd grin on her face, "Cause now I got a taste for his cucumber!"
"WHAT?!" Nabooru exclaimed, she never heard Aviel talk like that before, "Just what is this alcohol doing to her?! Where the hell are her parents anyway?!"
"Amala took her husband to the clinic to be treated for a head injury from what I heard!" Nemisa said, trying to help Nabooru keep Aviel under control.
"Oh... I see." Nabooru said sweatdropping, recalling what she did that morning to Kozun.
Nemisa finally forced Aviel down onto her seat, "Well I think we got her calmed down a little, now let's just-"
"Yaaaaay! Fly birdie flyyyy!"
Aviel however started flapping her wings as fast as possible and into the air, taking Nemisa for the ride by grabbing her wrists with her talons.
"Gaaaah! Stop it Aviel!" shouted Nemisa, actually being lifted up by Aviel's flying and making it hard for her to stop the younger girl. The bird girl started flying wildly in circles around the room, taking Nemisa for the side.
"Krrrk! Control tower to Aviel, you got bogies coming at two o'clock, over!" Aviel shouted in a deep voice. She then said in her normal voice, "Krrrk, Aviel to control tower, roger, what should I do until then, over?! Krrrrk!"
"What is she even talking about...?" Nabooru asked sweatdropping as she watched Aviel and Nemisa swiftly flying in circles around the dining room.
"Krrrrk, Aviel to control tower, I have a lock-on the target, I'm heading to launch my assault over!" Aviel said, swooping into the hallway that led straight to Link's bedroom.
"Aviel, stop this!" shouted Nemisa.
Before Aviel could get into the bedroom door though, something sped past her at lightning speed, before jumping off the hallway wall. Aviel didn't even have a chance to react as she was quickly restrained, causing her and Nemisa to come crashing to the ground. It was Nabooru, holding Aviel down by her wings. The bird girl's eyes were spiraling from the impact while Nemisa was sprawled out on the ground with bumps on her head.
"Enough of this! Settle down!" Nabooru scolded her.
"Whoooo... pilot down..." Aviel muttered.
"Nice one Lady Nabooru." groaned Nemisa, getting up and rubbing her head, not noticing right away that Saria was slowly walking past the three of them towards Link's door in her drunken state.
"Hic, heeeey Link... hic... your cute little wife needs cuddling... hic..." Saria muttered drunkenly as she staggered along.
Just as Saria was passing by though Nabooru grabbed her by her top and lifted her up into the air. Nabooru glared at the drunken Kokiri, whose legs were continuing to move in midair like she was still walking.
"That's quite enough of that. Now the next question is how did these two get so drunk to begin with?" Nabooru asked, lifting up Aviel to her face as well to get a good look at her.
"Maybe someone slipped them some alcohol?" Nemisa suggested.
"But who, and how could they ha-" Nabooru started, before Aviel let out a long but slow belch right in her face, "Oh how lovely, thank you for that." she quipped sarcastically.
"Heeeeee..." Aviel grinned as she hung in the air by Nabooru's strong arm.
"Wait a second..." Nabooru realized, sniffing the air, "I recognize this... it smells like she and Saria drank a particular type of liquor that's hard to come by here in Hyrule... It's a brand that you have to order directly from a winery out in the land of Fargent..."
"I'm surprised you can tell that from the smell of Aviel's breath." Nemisa said sweatdropping, then recalling Nabooru's drinking habits, "Then again maybe I shouldn't be surprised..."
Nabooru pondered to herself, "The only person I know of who has this delivered into town is Mystic Koleima, it's her favorite kind..." she narrowed her eyes as she continued, "And she just so happens to be the mother of a certain two trouble making little..."
The two of them turned to see twin Gerudo girls, one in an orange mystic outfit and the other in a blue outfit, both of them were slowly creeping away down the hallway on their tiptoes.
"GET BACK HERE YOU TWO!" Nabooru and Nemisa both shouted.
"Eek!" Run away sister!" Kesuta shouted as she and Korume tried to escape down the hall and out of the palace.
"Tower to Aviel, you have two hostile targets just ahead, over!" they heard Nabooru shout though, as Aviel quickly bashed right into the twins from behind, knocking them over.
"I think we're in trouble, sister..." Korume muttered as she looked up and saw Nabooru and Nemisa both glaring daggers down at the two of them.
Some time later after everyone calmed down; Aviel, Nemisa and Saria were taken into their bedrooms to rest from all the chaos that had just happened.
Nabooru had Kesuta and Korume both muffled and restrained in the hallway outside of her study. They were on their knees, tied up in strong rope as well as magic-sealing bracelets. They were also both wearing signs around their necks that said, "I Got Aviel and Saria Drunk and Caused Trouble for Everyone".
"Mmph mmph mmph!" Kesuta muffled out in protest, bouncing around a little trying to escape. She tried conjuring fire to burn the ropes but the bracelets held her back.
"Mmph..." Korume muttered sarcastically to her sister, looking to the side.
"MMPH MMPH!" Kesuta interjected.
"Shut up you two or I'll have you kneel in salt water too!" Nabooru shouted from inside her study, making the two girls immediately stop fighting.
Within her room, Nabooru took a small drink of wine and sighed out, "It's a good thing Link didn't have to hear any of that commotion. Last thing I need is him worrying about everyone on his day off."
"Lady Nabooru?" spoke up a small mousy voice. Nabooru turned to see her assistant Halei standing there holding a book, "I got the one you wanted, 'The History of Gerudo Political Affairs Volume Nineteen, exactly two hundred and forty six pages in length."
"Thank you Halei," Nabooru said, taking the book and started to read through it.
"So, is King Link doing okay? I was worried about him over the past few days..." Halei asked, siting down next to her and started working on some unfinished paperwork.
"He's doing just fine." Nabooru said, "As long as I'm watching over things here, he's not going to feel the need to be troubled by anything today, or for the next few days."
Halei glanced to Nabooru and saw the look in her leader's eyes, she smiled lightly, "Heh..."
"What?" Nabooru asked.
"I don't know, I just think its really sweet that you care so much about the king's happiness..." Halei said, rubbing one of the fuzzy ears of the Bunny Hood she wore, "And you always look so happy when you talk about him..."
She glanced over to see Nabooru staring at her.
"Eep!" Halei quickly covered her eyes by pulling down the ears of her Bunny Hood over them, "Sorry! I just kinda blurted that out!"
"No... no you're right." Nabooru said with a bit of a smile, "I guess I do let myself do that..."
"Have you... perhaps thought about accepting his offer of becoming his Grand Queen?" Halei asked curiously. While Halei had no desire to marry Link, and preferred to someday meet a man she could marry for herself, she was actively supportive of the young king and his growing harem of wives. She felt they all seemed so happy together as a family.
"Honestly, I can't really say a definite yes or no..." Nabooru spoke looking up, "He works so hard to please me, he's so great to his fiances, and he's getting stronger and more handsome by the day." she looked to Halei with a smirk, "He's also become an excellent lover, if you're ever interested in a one-night stand."
"Aaaahhh! No, no, no! That's totally a no-no!" exclaimed Halei, pulling her Bunny Hood ears down so much they slipped out of her hands and bonked her in the eyes, making Nabooru laugh out.
"Come on, not just once?" Nabooru offered, "I promise I won't tell anyone."
"It's not like that," Halei groaned, "I mean, I don't want to do something like that just for the sake of pleasure or anything... when I do... um, m-make love for the first time, I want it to be with the man I want to spend my whole life with... I want it to be for true love."
Nabooru paused on Halei's words and thought to herself, recalling a conversation she and Link once had together...
Flashback - Two years ago
Nabooru had just discussed the idea of Link marrying not just Togau, but Aviel and Nemisa as well. She had been massaging his shoulders as she suggested the idea into his pointy ear.
"You didn't think my reward to you was to just saddle you with the responsibility of being a king? A true hero like yourself deserves a king's harem of wives, those that can love you, see to your happiness..." she paused for a second and added, "...bless you with their children..."
"Children...?" Link muttered, before he looked up to her, "So... what about you?"
"Hm?"
"Would you want to be a part of this... um, relationship?" Link asked.
Nabooru paused, she supposed she shouldn't be surprised that Link might have fancied her, and he was certainly a handsome young man that she admired and cared greatly for... but then her thoughts went to the man she loved, the one who was taken from her by the Demon King Ganondorf. She forced herself to smile for Link's sake though and spoke,
"I... still have a number of responsibilities to do as your adviser, so for now... why don't we just stick to being friends... you know, with the benefits?" she suggested with a wink.
"Well... I suppose." Link nodded.
End Flashback
Nabooru stared up at the ceiling as she thought deeply, just what was Link to her now? She was a mentor and friend, she knew that, but they weren't exactly lovers like his fiances were to him. While she did take his virginity that day they reunited after seven years, she had done it simply to help him with his anxiety and pain from finding out about his inadvertent role in the war.
In addition, while the two had been 'friends with benefits' for a while, Link was lately spending so much time with his fiances that he had very little time for her nowadays. Nabooru in that moment found herself wondering if her night sessions with Link were just purely training for him, or if she was doing to help cope with her own sadness from losing the man she loved...
Or maybe it was...
"Lady Nabooru?" Halei spoke up nudging Nabooru and snapping her out of her trance.
"Oh, sorry Halei," Nabooru chuckled, "I'm fine."
"Lady Nabooru!" shouted a voice, as a guard burst into the room, "We have an emergency!"
"Oh swell, now what?" Nabooru asked.
"Over at the front gate, Ebony Sisterhood rebels have arrived!"
"What?!" Nabooru exclaimed.
Nabooru hurried over to the front gate of Gerudo Town, where a group of guards along with Reirousa were standing with their weapons ready for combat.
"I see you made a speedy recovery Reirousa." Nabooru said.
"Yeah, glad I did too." Reirousa said, her voice sounding a little weird with nose-plugs stuffed into her nostrils to hold back the blood, "The lookouts just warned us that the rebels were on their way."
What they weren't ready for though was just what had approached them. It could only be described as a giant wooden stage with rafters hanging curtains down over it. Some pig creatures known as Moblins who were wearing strange helmets were pushing it up to the gate before they all gasped out and collapsed in exhaustion.
The curtains started up move upwards, revealing a dark gray painted background with very odd markings on it. They appeared to be Gerudo language symbols, but done in very exaggerated strokes in bright paint colors like pink and light green. Nabooru read the symbols as words like 'Revolution', 'Death', 'Hip Beats', 'Rising' and something Nabooru could only translate as 'Swood'. On the sides of the stage was two tall black boxes with what appeared to be three giant musical horns built into both of them.
Then a great amount of mist blasted up from behind the curtains, obscuring Nabooru and the other's view of what was on there. When the mist cleared away, standing there was a Gerudo woman standing on the stage.
She wore long baggy pants that were hanging just a little below her waist, a sleeved tunic wrapped around her waist, her chest was covered by bandage wrappings, and her hair was short and covered with a cap worn backwards. She was wearing a gold chain around her neck with a gold plate connected to it with the mark of the Ebony Sisterhood on it. She had multiple earrings on her ears, nose and lip, and her fingers were decorated with flashy rings. She also wore a pair of garish sunglasses that obscured her eyes from them all.
"Yooooooo sisters! Yall ready for my slick moves?" asked the woman hanging her tongue out, "Big G is back in da house, and ready to wreck the false king and his fat, lazy whores!"
The Gerudo soldiers all looked to each other in confusion of the absurd sight before them.
"Oh no..." Reirousa groaned, slapping her forehead, "It's that crazy bitch again."
"Who the hell is this?" Nabooru asked.
"She's that rebel me and Link told ya about before." Reirousa said, "She used to bug me and the Vipers back in Gerudo Wastes about joining with the rebellion, she even sicced that Molderm on us when Link, Aviel and Nemisa met us out there."
"Hm, I don't recognize her from Gerudo Fortress..." Nabooru muttered, before shouting out to the rebel, "Just who are you?"
"You don't know me? Looks like you need to get schooled!" the woman said. She pulled out a short rod that was made of bronze, and had a round top wrapped in a fabric. It had two cords attached to the bottom that a pair of other rebels connected to the two large boxes. The two assistants gave a thumbs up to the sunglasses-wearing woman.
"It's time to show you pansy girls my freestyle, hit it!"
Four more Gerudo rebels, wearing similar clothes to the one in the center stepped out from behind the boxes and started making spitting and screeching sounds, seeming like they were making a rhythm of some kind. The strange woman grinned and started singing into the rod, as the girls to her sides started moving their hands in downward motions. As this went on the singing and sounds the rebels were making seemed to be actually coming out from the large boxes in amplified sound waves.
"We're sisters of the heat, the rebellion elite,
You think yer the boss but ya can't handle this beat!
We've come to this town, to take you all down,
And reclaim our people from this Nabooru clown!
They call me Big G Jousak, you better remember this name,
When we send yall to the World of Spirits in total shame,
Using Engineer Meokuro's tech to make our pledge and claim,
That it'll be King Ganondorf who'll rake in all the glory and fame!"
With that, the woman stuck down her fingers with a big wicked grin on her face as her co-singers huddled by her side.
"...what." Nabooru said sweatdropping.
"Lady Nabooru, what was that awful music just now...?" a guard asked clutching at her head, "It gave me a headache..."
"I don't know, but I'm not going to let her keep playing it..." Nabooru scowled, unsheathing her scimitars, "This is Link's day-off, and I won't allow this obnoxious excuse for music to ruin it!"
"Yo, yo, yo, you dissin' my beats?!" shouted Big G Jousak, "You just haven't heard how fresh it can get! Crank it girls!"
The two rebel assistants moved some dials on the boxes, as Jousak and her team started going right back to making the strange spitting and screeching sounds. Jousak started bouncing her legs to the beat they were making and started singing again, the sound pulsating out from the speakers.
"Now it's time fer a brawl, gonna stomp down yall,
Soon Mother Eclipsis will be the one to stand tall!
We got a little surprise, for your blinded eyes,
Something that's gonna whup you all down to size!
Now get ready for our trap, as I'm singing this rap,
It's gonna play Nabooru and you bitches like a sap!"
Jousak then snapped her fingers, and a few seconds later the ground started to rumble. Nabooru looked around for whatever it could be, then cautiously looked to sure enough see a familiar looking creature barge into the area, mindful not to crash into Jousak's stage. It was large and round with six legs and a giant single eye.
"Wha- another Digdogger?" Nabooru spoke, then quickly coming to a realization, "Now I get it, you sent that other one to attack us back on the other size of town!"
"Just like when she attacked us with the damn Molderm back in the wastes." Reirousa said, "She said that music tames the monsters the rebels use to fight for them."
Jousak grinned, "Heh, you got it sister. That one was just to test yer strength, but now yer dealin' with the real deal. This here's Diggity-Dawg Durango, and it's got a nice little treat for yall! Now let's crank it up further!"
Jousak's gang started making the screeching and spitting sounds as she started singing again. The strange boxes on the stage started vibrating, as Jousak's singing plus the noise by her backup singers was amplified through the horns in them.
"Yo I'm here to shout and tattle, go Diggity-Dawg into battle,
Give these weak punks a rock, shake and rattle!
Crush em all real hard, and take em to the junk yard,
show em what they get for messing with this slick bard!"
Mesmerized by Jousak's singing from the speakers, the Digdogger, now identified as the strangely named 'Diggity-Dawg Durango', screeched out as it wiggled it's legs, ready to fight the Gerudo.
'This is bad... If Link hears this noise, he might come to assist us.' Nabooru thought to herself looking back at the palace, "Sisters, let's end this swiftly!"
"Sounds likes a plan, that damn singing is giving me a headache..." groaned Reirousa.
"Shut yer trap! You just don't understand my freestyle, it's an art!" Jousak shouted in defense.
"Sounds like a dying art." a guard said.
"That's it, kill em all Diggity-Dawg!" Jousak shouted.
The Geurdo all charged in to fight the monster. It tried to smack at them with it's legs but they quickly evaded each swipe. The eye glew as it fired off some beams, but the Gerudo easily evaded the attacks and attacked the monster directly. It slammed the ground to create a shockwave, but Nabooru, along with two other Gerudo guards, jumped over it and plunged their weapons into the eye of the monster. They pulled out their weapons as the monster screeched out in pain, before splitting up into six smaller Digdoggers like the one before, which immediately went scurrying around.
"Argh, no! Diggity-Dawg!" shouted Jousak.
"How odd, this thing was even weaker then the other one..." Nabooru muttered, "Now to take out the smaller ones!"
The guards took to chasing after the smaller Digdoggers in an attempt to kill them, but they proved to be rather quick on their feet and fired off small beams from their eyes to distract their attackers. Just before a guard could stab one of them though, it gave off a strange vibration, and suddenly it grew in size until it was in the form of a full-grown Digdogger.
"What...?" exclaimed the guard in shock just before she was knocked away by a leg swipe.
As the guards tried to take out the other five, they too started to vibrate and shake, before they also grew in size until they looked the same as the original 'Diggity-Dawg'.
"WHAT?" Nabooru exclaimed as the Digdoggers attacked the guards, knocking them away as well, "They all grew into full-sized ones?!"
"First there was one, and now there's... six?" Reirousa asked, counting on her fingers to make sure.
A guard ran at one Digdogger, dodged one of it's attacks and struck it in the eye, causing it to break apart into six more mini ones. They all scurried away, but as the guards tried to give chase and kill them, they started to vibrate and regrow into six more full-grown ones.
"It-it can't be..." Nabooru stammered, "Everyone, stop attacking the monsters, they'll just create more of themselves!"
"Oh, oops." Reirousa muttered, as she had just hit one large Digdogger in the eye with her warhammer, causing it to split into six as well, then all six grew into big ones quickly.
"Lady Nabooru, how do we stop them?!" asked a guard blocking off an attack.
"Hmm..." Nabooru contemplated, "Until we figure out why they're multiplying, we'll focus on one at a time. Five of us and myself will go after one Digdogger. When they split up, we'll attack the mini ones at once! The rest of you fend off the other big ones for the time being!"
"Right!" the Gerudo army nodded as they went about implementing Nabooru's plan.
Nabooru and five guards rushed at one Digdogger, who fired off small beams of energy at them. They darted around before skewering the Digdogger right in the eye, causing it to split into six small Digdoggers. The miniature monsters tried to escape, but Nabooru and the guards now had their speed and patterns figured out, and quickly struck them with single powerful blows.
"Excellent, we did it!" Nabooru nodded, "Now we jus-"
"Uh, Lady Nabooru...?" spoke up a guard, "What will we do about these?!"
"Huh?"
Nabooru and the guards looked down to see about thirty six tiny Digdoggers about the size of their feet crawling around wildly. Nabooru's face paled as she saw them all start to vibrate and shake like the bigger ones before.
"Kill them quickly!" Nabooru said as she and the guards started stomped on them as quickly as they could. Unfortunately a number of them managed to grow into bigger sizes, then again into normal sized Digdoggers.
"You've go to be shittin' me!" said Reirousa, "Every time we kill one they just keep adding more!"
"What do we do Lady Nabooru?!" a guard asked desperately.
"Bwaahahaha!" laughed out Jousak, "Face it, you bitches can't win! Diggity-Dawg is a Multidogger, a special breed of Digdogger that can multiply indefinitely!"
"A Multidogger," muttered Nabooru, "But how are they growing so fast...?"
As she watched her guards trying to fight off the Digdoggers without allowing them to split up again, she watched as another mini Digdogger vibrated and shook before growing again. Nabooru gazed down at the ground, trying to figure out what she could possibly do about this. There was a part of her that thought perhaps she'd need Link's help after all, he did had that Quake Medallion which might prove useful against these creatures, but he had also told her before how much exertion it puts him through to use...
"Am... I really this useless?" Nabooru muttered to herself looking down, "Do I really have to keep putting Link through even more anxiety and pain...?"
Just as she was about to consider sending a guard to go retrieve Link though, she stared down at the ground and something caught her eye: the small pebbles on the canyon ground around her were shifting and rattling a bit. It was strange since the ground here was much harder then on the other side of town, and not even a Digdogger should have been able to cause the ground to shake.
"Wait... that's coming from the the music that Jousak woman is playing, right...?" Nabooru spoke looking up at the stage that Big G Jousak was still playing on. She eyed the speakers themselves as they played the annoyingly loud music and song Jousak and her team were making, then looked back over to the Digdoggers.
"That's it!" Nabooru realized as she sprinted right at the stage. A Digdogger tried to get in her way, but she quickly stabbed it with her scimitar, causing it to split into six more small ones, which soon grew into six more normal ones.
"What's Lady Nabooru doing?" asked a guard, fending off an attack from one of the new Digdoggers.
"You wanna throw down Nabooru?" shouted Jousak as Nabooru jumped onto the stage, "Take her down girls!"
Jousak's team all rushed out right at Nabooru with their weapons, but she wielded her twin scimitars and battled fiercely against the rebels. She was outnumbered, but it was hardly a task for one as strong as her. She slashed one rebel's spear in half and kicked another off the stage with a spinning kick. She then eyed the right speaker and slashed it with her blades, causing it to fall apart.
"Hey! How dare you mess with my posse!" Jousak shouted, "Now I'll show you my new brea-" but Jousak was cut off by Nabooru punching her in the face before kicking her across the stage with her leg, sending Jousak flying into the left speaker, crashing into it and falling off the side of the stage and destroying the speaker in the process.
"Aaahh! Big G Jousak!" shouted the rebels in panic.
"Now's our chance sisters!" Nabooru shouted out, "Strike down the Digdoggers!"
Reirousa and the guards were hesitant knowing what the creatures could do, but went ahead and complied with their leader's command. Reirousa swung her warhammer and bashed a Digdogger in it's eye, causing it to split into small ones. The guards quickly struck a few, but some others managed to get away. However, this time they didn't grow into bigger ones and just ran around helplessly.
"Huh? They're not growing this time?" a guard asked.
"It's because I cut off the sound." Nabooru said jumping down off the stage, "I just remembered Digdoggers are also sensitive to loud noises. It appears these rebels figured out a way to use the obnoxious noise they call music to speed up their growth as well as control them."
"Oh I get it!" Reirousa realized, "Now that the music's stopped they ain't gonna grow as fast anymore! Now we can take em out!"
"Wooow! Lady Nabooru is such a genius!" cheered a guard happily.
"That's great, but we still got a lot of these things to deal with!" a guard said battling against another Digdogger.
"Then we'll need more help." Nabooru said going into a battle pose, "We need..."
"Heeeyah!" shouted a voice as Nemisa leaped high into the air and came down, kicking a Digdogger across the back of it's head, before punching another in the eye. The creature fired off eye beam at her, but she gracefully evaded the shots with her dance moves before bashing it into the eye again.
"Chaaaarrge!" shouted Togau as she ran into the area in her Lynel form, bashing one monster with her horn before slashing it down with her ax. She quickly changed back to a Gerudo and threw her ax which cut through three smaller Digdoggers before it returned to her like a boomerang.
Nabooru looked in astonishment as Aviel and Saria both came into battle as well, the bird girl shooting down Digdoggers with her arrows while Saria bashed and smashed them away with her Deku Staff.
"Lady Nabooru, we've all come to help!" Nemisa stated.
"That's great, but how did Aviel and Saria sober up so fast? I thought they were drunk from the twin's prank!" Nabooru said.
"Who said they sobered up?" Nemisa shrugged with a smirk, as she looked over at her two friends.
"Heeheeheehee! Death to all the eyeball thingamjiggers!" Aviel said with spiraling eyes as she bombarded the Digdoggers with her arrows. Despite being as drunk as she was, Aviel was hitting them with near perfect accuracy.
"You aren't touchiiin Link one teeny tiny bit, that's our job, hic!" Saria shouted drunkenly, using her Deku Spiked Boa attack to bash away the Digdoggers approaching her.
As one guard was cornered by three Digdoggers, a blast of powerful ice came down which froze the Digdoggers solid, only to be smashed to pieces by Togau. While another group of smaller monsters were incinerated by a barrage of fireballs.
"Keekuku!" laughed out a large woman with fire and ice spiraling around her body. It was Dualsera, the fusion of both Kesuta and Korume. She flew down at the area blasting any more Digdoggers that threatened the other Gerudo with ease, "Burn and freeze little cretins!"
"Even the late Lady Twinrova's descendants are here?" a rebel exclaimed in shock, "This is bad, we gotta retreat!"
"Gaaaah..." Jousak groaned out laying on the wreckage of the speaker she had been bashed into.
The rebels quickly lifted up Jousak and hurriedly carried her out of the area, while the Moblins frantically followed after them as they were pulling away the large sound stage and whatever equipment they could.
A Digdogger spun like a tornado right at Nabooru with all it's legs out, while the Gerudo leader quickly sprinted forward at it. The monster fired off a barrage of eye beams as it spun, but Nabooru retaliated by spinning her scimitars out in front of her like a windmill. The beams deflected off the steel of her blades, before she delivered a power kick into it's side, sending it spinning to a halt and it's single eye spiraling in dizziness. Swinging both blades at the monster, Nabooru slashed right through it, causing it to squeal out in pain before exploding into six smaller ones who was quickly taken out by Togau, Nemisa, Aviel and Korume.
Some mini Digdoggers tried to escape, but with one last smash of her warhammer, Reirousa struck down the last of Diggity-Dawg Durango's other selves, completely destroying the monster for good.
"Whew, we did it." Togau said grinning widely, "We gave those rascals a thrashin'!"
"We've even captured a few of the rebels as well, hic!" called out the still drunk Saria, having used the vines of her Deku Staff to tie up four Gerudo woman, including a certain sorceress in orange clothes.
"I'm on your side Saria!" Kesuta shouted in frustration at the drunken Kokiri girl.
"Excellent, we slayed a dangerous monster and saved a number of our people, this has been another great victory against the rebellion!" Nabooru said smiling brightly, "You all did extraordinary! I'm sure the great Goddess Aifet is proud of you all!"
"HURRAY!" the Gerudo all held up their weapons and cheered out in victory.
"Shhhh!" Nabooru immediately shushed them, "Keep it down! Link needs his rest!"
"Uh... hurraaay?" Reirousa asked thrusting her fist up just a little in a low voice.
"Yay." Korume spoke softly, waving a little flag.
"So now with that said..." Nabooru spoke as she walked up to a somewhat nervous Kesuta and Korume, "How exactly did you two escape from those magic-proof bracelets? I told the guards not to release you until I said so."
"Oh that? We just broke free cause we're both so strong!" Keusta said with an overanxious laugh.
"Yes, if you thought those were enough to hold us, it seems you were quite wrong." Korume rhymed with a giggle.
"... ..." Nabooru seeed dubious about their ability to escape the bracelets, but took a glance up at the palace for a second, before smirking a little, "Okay, I'll leave it at that. Come everyone, we need to celebrate our victory!"
The girls all cheered out and hurried back into the town. Aviel and Saria were both escorted in by Reirousa so they could go back to resting from their intoxicated state. The rebels they had captured were led in to be healed up and detained as well.
Meanwhile, looking out from a window of the palace was Link, having watched the fight himself, along with the servants that were tending to him.
"Looks like you were right your highness," said a servant, "Lady Nabooru handled it just fine."
"I knew she would. She's been working so hard to help me rest today, if I tried to help it would just defeat the point of her effort." Link grinned, "I hope she won't be too upset I let Kesuta and Korume free to go help her out."
"Well why don't we get you back to your bedroom before she come back then." giggled a servant, giving him an affectionate kiss on the cheek.
"Alright." Link nodded, after a moment of thought he said, "Actually, I was wondering if you girls could help me talk to Nabooru about something..."
The next day...
"Lady Nabooru, are you in there with King Link?" a guard spoke from outside Link's bedroom, "We have a small matter to speak with you about."
"Can it wait?" Link called out from the other side of the door, "She's busy with some important stuff for the remainder of the day."
"Ah, of course. We'll come back some other time then!" the guard said, going off on her way.
Meanwhile inside his bedroom, Nabooru was laying on her stomach on Link's bed of pillows. She was enjoying a fine wine and resting blissfully while Link was giving her a vigorous back massage. There was also some Gerudo musicians from Nemisa's night club there playing pleasant music that added to serenity of the room. Nabooru took a sip of her wine and sighed out.
"Oooh Link, you're gotten so good at massaging..." Nabooru groaned out as Link got at the point between her shoulders, "I'm sorry to put you through this."
Link just gave her a friendly kiss on the cheek, "Hey, don't sweat it. You've been through a lot lately, you deserve this day off."
Nabooru smiled softly herself as she reached up and placed a hand on her cheek. She recalled saying something very similar to Link the previous morning when she saw him exhausted from mating with Sheeva.
"Hey, you getting hungry?" Link asked her. He called out to the servants who came in with some dishes he had prepared for her, including a steak sandwich the way she liked it from their favorite diner.
"Jees Link, not even I spoiled you this rotten yesterday." Nabooru grinned, taking the sandwich.
"Well you like to make sure I'm treated as a true king around here, I think it's only fitting I should treat you like a real queen." Link said, smiling warmly.
Nabooru caught herself blushing slightly red from the warm smile and kind words from her friend, and tried to cover it up by focusing on eating her sandwich.
'By the goddess Aifet,' Nabooru thought to herself, 'If I'm not careful, I might just end up falling for him after all...'
Meanwhile, a certain lady knight had spent the past couple of days traveling, and when she finally arrived at her destination...
"This is strange... everything I've read about Gerudo Valley was that it was a harsh and barren desert scorched by the sun..." the knight said looking around, "But I'm certain this is the right way..."
"Miss, are you sure we can't help you in anyway, piou?" asked a voice.
The Hylian lady knight was sitting down with her legs in a folded position as she was reading over her map. She was shivering slightly from the cold of the snow and wind around her, as she was in the middle of the highland Rito mountain village of Dhaijialoft. Standing near her was the village's mayor Nymnalo and a few of the bird people residents, looking curiously at the new face in their town.
"I should be fine." the knight said with a drop of sweat going down her head, "I'm almost to my destination."
"She sure about that...?" muttered one villager to another, who just shrugged.
And that ends the chapter. Just wanted to give a big shout out to my supporter UltimateCCC for this week's plot!
Next week, just as Link's gotten some time to relax, the mysterious lady knight of Hyrule approaches Gerudo Town, with a dark goal in mind...
