Saiyans of Eldia

"This can't be possible. Even if he was risking his life to save another, there's no way he'd ever fall to a Titan." Mina said, still in denial as she sat on her knees on the roof. "Oh God what am I going to tell Eri? She's gonna be so upset."

"Just tell her the truth." Jean said. "This sort of thing is an occupational hazard when fighting Titans. Besides, it's not like he was actually her hero or anything."

"Except he was." Mina said.

"What do you mean?" Connie questioned.

"Kaen and I come from a world, where 80% of the population has a power called a Quirk. Eri's current appearance is due to Kaen's sister switching out the Quirk she was born with, for her current one. To make a long story short, her old Quirk was called Rewind, and she was a lab rat for a mad scientist, who wanted nothing more then to rid the world of Quirks. So he made a drug from harvesting her blood and cells, that could erase the genetics that cause Quirks, from someone's body. Kaen and I rescued her from that mad man, and in the same day, Kaen fought him when he tried to take Eri back." Mina explained.

"Damn, guess that really would make him her hero." Connie said, looking at Jean. "Where's the Titan that ate him. If we hurry, I'm sure we could cut it open and free him from its stomach."

"I don't know. It's too late anyways." Jean stated, before the air echoed with another monstrous roar. "The hell is that? It's the second time that's happened. Don't tell me it's gonna be another repeat of five years ago and a new species of Titan appears."

"Would you shut up, and grow a pair already?" Mikasa questioned. "Connie, have you seen Armin or Eren?"

"Yeah, he's over there. Been sitting like that for a while now, like he's just seen something horrifying. Haven't seen Eren though." Connie stated.

"This can't be happening." Mina said, getting to her feet as Mikasa went to Armin's side. "These damn Titans have taken my love away from me. I am gonna tear every last one of them APART." She shouted, before flying off the roof, leaving an indentation from liftoff.

Flying through the air, Mina headed to where a large cluster of Titans were gathered as they were making their way to the HQ.

"YOU'RE ALL GONNA DIE." Mina shouted.

Time seemed to slow down, as lightning and thunder cracked through the sky, with the terrifying sight of a Titan's jaws opened to Mina's right, ready to devour the Saiyan girl. Her eyes widened from anger to fear as she stared at the teeth and down its gullet, as only one thing, made its way through her mind, before passing her lips.

"Kaen, help me." She whispered in fear.

Right as the jaws were about to clamp down on her, Mina was suddenly thrust forward as a giant hand grabbed her, and the jaws snapped on the forearm attached to that hand.

In her daze, Mina turned her head towards the arm attached to the hand that grabbed her, and with widening eyes, saw the scarlet red golden armored platting of a Titan, followed by blood red fur covering the muscularly defined arm leading to the armored shoulder plating with two red streaks on the sides, like glowing eyes. Looking back at the Titan that nearly ate her, she saw four angular armor blades protruding out from its upper jaw and lip, with steam pouring out of the wounds.

"No way." Mina said in shock as she looked at the Titan's face, its eyes glowing a dark neon emerald green, as it let out a puff of steam from its jaws, with an Apex predatory growl.

~Mikasa~

Mikasa flew through the air on her ODM Gear, the canisters pushing all they could as the most that remained in them were fumes. She'd just been told by Armin, that Eren had been devoured by a Titan in a successful attempt to rescue his life. She didn't want to believe him, but she knew that Armin would never joke about anything like that.

Mikasa was on a rage fueled mission to slay all the Titans in the area. She'd just given a speech to the other cadets who'd lost hope, but knowing that Eren was gone, Mikasa wanted nothing more then to destroy all who were responsible to taking away her family. She didn't acknowledge his presence, but she knew Armin was right behind her, and he wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Slicing through the napes of every Titan she encountered, Mikasa was whittling her blades down to nothing, two by two. Eventually, the inevitable happened, and she used the last of her co2 tanks. The lack of propulsion caused her to fall and hit one of the rooftops bellow with a heavy thud, before she rolled down the slanted surface and fell to the ground. Thankfully her fall was cushioned by a tarp over a food stand. But she just laid there, staring into the cloud filled sky as she thought about all the events that brought her to living with Eren and his family.

'It happened. It happened again. I lost my family.' She thought, raising her broken blade to the sky. Getting up and down from the stand, Mikasa took a few steps forward, before falling to her knees. 'Why? Wasn't the first time enough? It's all over, nothing left for them to take from me.' She relented as the ground began to shake, with the footsteps of a rather large Titan around twelve meters tall.

As the Titan neared, Mikasa didn't even attempt to flee. She'd given in to her fate and accepted her death, so she could be with Eren.

'This world is cruel. But it's also… it's also beautiful.' Mikasa thought, as the memory of when Eren gave her, her scarf came to the forefront of her mind. 'It was a good life.' She closed her eyes, waiting for her death to come. However, as the Titan reached out to grab her, something in her blood sparked and drove Mikasa to dodge the Titan's grasp as she sliced off several of its fingers, almost like an impulse or an instinct. Mikasa's body continued to dodge the oncoming attacks from the Titan, with a third swing of its arms coming straight for her. Dodging this strike, Mikasa hit the wall to her right and hit her head before she slumped down.

'Why?' She questioned as she jumped out of the way of the Titan's grasp again. Her landing wasn't graceful and she rolled towards the dead end, caused by a collapsed building. 'I'd already given up, so why, why am I struggling? Why do I keep getting up?' She asked herself as she stared at an open pomegranate.

The Titan after her struggled to regain its balance and get back to its feet, all while Mikasa was beating herself up for her attempts at survival, as the sun began to come out.

'Why am I still fighting? I mean, I lost any reason to live. What keeps pushing me?' She questioned, as the Titan stood over her.

With the Titan in front of her, Mikasa turned to run up the stairs to climb over the dead end, but was stopped as another Titan, standing at fifteen meters tall stepped over it, and she found herself pinned.

"Fight… Fight. FIGHT." Eren's voice echoed in her head, as the memory of when he saved her, flashed through her eyes.

"Eren." Mikasa gasped, as the two Titans flanked her on either sides.

"Kill of be killed. That's the only way to live, you have to fight." His words rang in her mind and heart as Mikasa felt the urge to live on.

'I'm so sorry Eren.' Mikasa thought as tears came to her eyes. 'I'm through giving up. I'll never give up again, because if I die, these memories of you die with me. That's why, I'll do whatever it takes to win, whatever it takes to live.'

The second she let out a battle cry, the second Titan that appeared slammed its foot down, and thrusting its body forward, struck the first Titan in the head with a full thrust punch, surprising Mikasa and sending it flying back with Titan blood splattering the walls, before it began to slide along the ground.

"What was that?" Mikasa questioned, before gasping as her eyes widened when she saw the Titan that had inadvertently saved her life.

The Titan was fifteen meters tall, with long brown hair grazing its shoulders, and long pointed ears. Its facial were like nothing Mikasa's seen on a Titan, other then the Colossal; he developed a prominent, its eyes were deeply sunken within their sockets, and its mouth had an unusual, jagged shape. In addition, the Titan also lacked a pair of lips and flesh on its cheeks, so its teeth were exposed. The Titan's form was well-proportioned and physically fit, sporting a well-defined, lean, and muscular appearance in lieu of the more common pot-bellied or emaciated appearances of regular Titans, like the one that had been sent flying.

The Titan let out a roar of rage as it ran towards the other Titan it had knocked down, causing the ground and air to shake, and forcing Mikasa to cover her ears. Looking up at the Titan that saved her, Mikasa was in awe as it began tearing the other Titan apart.

'That Titan.' She thought as the fifteen meter Titan began stomping on the nape of the its shorter kin. 'He's killing… he's killing the other one.' She gasped before the Titan stopped.

Looking at the Titan in awe, as something was familiar about it, Mikasa's ears perked when she heard the sound of ODM Gear and was suddenly removed from the situation and taken onto the roof. Rolling forward with the rough landing, Mikasa picked herself onto her knees, as the one who'd grabbed her, Armin, did the same.

"Mikasa, are you okay?" Armin questioned as Connie came to their side.

"Are you guys all right?" Connie asked.

"Yeah."

"Then we better get out of here." Connie said, before another Titan came out of nowhere, and was facing off with the one that saved Mikasa. "Crap, two fifteen meter titans."

"No, that one's different." Mikasa said, looking directly at the Titan that had saved her.

Armin looked to the area he'd grabbed Mikasa from, and gasped with widened eyes when she saw the smoking form of the Titan's Skeleton evaporating into steam, with its blood pooled around it, and its severed head upside down away from the rest of its body.

"How?" Armin questioned before the two Titans began roaring at one another.

"No way." Connie gasped, as the long eared Titan took a fighters stance, with its arms up ready to duke it out, making Armin and Mikasa gasp as well.

The instant the other Titan came charging at its opponent, the combat based Titan struck the other Titan's head with a side swipe strike, sending the Titan head flying into a tower, shattering the stone, wood, and glass on impact like it was nothing.

The headless Titan began to fall forward as steam came pouring out of its neck, before the combat Titan looked to where its hand used to be, and in a near instant, it began regenerating without any hesitation, until its hand was fully restored. Right after its hand was renewed, the headless Titan's body began to move, before the combat Titan slammed its foot down on its nape, killing the human eater instantly.

"It, it just finished it off. It knew exactly where the weak spot was." Armin gasped in shock.

"Come on guys, time to split. Last thing we need is him coming our way." Connie said.

"No. He has no reaction to us, any other Titan would have been on top of us by now." Armin stated as he analyzed the situation.

"It seemed to understand the skill of hand to hand combat." Mikasa added. "What is that thing?"

"Just chalk it up as another Abnormal." Connie said. "Hell, they're always an unpleasant surprise right? Forget about it let's just get out of here."

"Wait a minute, hold on." Armin said. "Mikasa's tanks are empty."

"Huh? What are we gonna do? We can't clear HQ without your help." Connie said.

"There's only one thing to do." Armin said tinkering with his gear.

"What are you doing Armin?" Mikasa asked.

"I know there isn't very much left in them, but it's better then your empty ones." Armin stated, replacing Mikasa's tanks with his.

"Armin." Mikasa gasped as one of the tanks were installed.

"This is our only choice." Armin said as he began repeating the process with the other tank. "They'd be a complete waste if I kept them. But, use this gas more sparingly. Everyone's lives are riding on you."

"Armin…" Mikasa said softly.

"There, your ODM Gear's working and I restocked your blades. Just leave me this one." Armin said, picking up Mikasa's broken blade, his body shaking in fear. "I'd rather this be my end then being eaten alive." He stated, before Mikasa took the blade and tossed it. "What? Why'd you…?"

"Armin." Mikasa said, grabbing his hand. "I will not leave you behind."

Picking themselves up, Mikasa and Armin looked to one another, then set their sights on their goal, of clearing out HQ, but Mikasa's mind was on something else.

'What was he?' She questioned, recalling what she saw when she witnessed the Titan killing another of its own. 'Are there any more like him? I've never heard of a Titan killing another Titan. No one has. But it struck a cord in me, something so familiar, so primal. I bore witness to the manifestation of humanity's rage.'

"We have to get going. An' we're not leaving you behind Armin." Mikasa said.

"I'm with her on this one." Connie stated.

"But, I mean, Titans are everywhere. You can't jump and carry me on you back."

"Come on, let's move." Connie said, grabbing Armin and heading for the ledge.

Everything seemed to slow down for Armin as he saw his friends running with him in tow, worry clear on his face before an idea came to him, when he heard the roar of the Titan that had killed the other Titans.

"No." Armin said, slapping his hand away from Connie's grip. "Hold on, I've got an idea."

"What is it then?" Connie asked.

"Only you two are really capable of pulling this off, so it's really your choice." Armin said. "This may sound crazy, but I think he may be useful."

"Whoa, you mean the Titan?" Connie asked.

"He only attacks his own kind. He seems to have no interest in us. What if, we can somehow steer him to HQ and let him loose on the other Titans? Look we know he's taken at least one out already. We can use him as a weapon."

"You've got to be kidding." Connie said. "How the hell do you think we're supposed to steer that thing?"

"Something tells me, he's fighting on instinct. I'm almost sure that if you take down the pair he's tangling with now, he'll go look for others." Armin stated. "That'd lead him straight to HQ. We're not steering him, so much as luring him. I think it'll work, I really do."

"Think? You're asking us to risk our necks on a stupid gut feeling?" Connie questioned.

"If I'm right about this, we can put out the siege on headquarters in one fell swoop." Armin stated, surprising Connie with how he'd thought this all out in no time.

"It's worth a shot." Mikasa said.

"Huh? Seriously?"

"Better to take a gamble on Armin's gut feeling, then to wait around and be slaughtered." Mikasa stated. "If there's a descent shot, then why not take it?"

"So basically, we're gonna recruit a Titan."

"Yes, exactly." Mikasa said.

Connie was left speechless as he though over Mikasa's agreement to Armin's plan, and the plan itself, before he smiled and looked right at Armin.

"We'll look like morons if we screw this up." Connie said.

"Yeah, but if we don't look how many lives we stand to save." Armin said.

"Where there's a will, there's a way." Mikasa said, as she began running towards the Titan they would be luring to HQ, Armin right behind her.

"It's still nuts, but what the hell?" Connie said, as he followed them.

Flying through the air on their gear, with Armin and Connie sharing a ride, Mikasa killed one of the Titans the combat Titan was dealing with, until the other was taken out by his hands. With that Titan dead and gone, his sights were set on HQ where there were more Titans for him to slaughter.

"It's working." Armin said as they passed the Titan, and he began to follow.

Leading the Titan towards HQ, Armin, Connie, and Mikasa gasped when they reached the building. There were countless Titan corpses on the ground, letting off massive amounts of steam and heat as the sound of feral growling was heard echoing through the air, and glowing green eyes were seen through the steam. As the steam cleared, they all were in shock, as they saw a massive Titan, taller then fifteen meters, standing in front of HQ as it held a squirming six meter Titan in its grasp, before crushing its neck, creating an echoing pop.

The Titan's body was covered with armored platting similar to that of the Armored Titan's, on its forearms with four blades on the outer sides, with thigh and shin guards. The armor covered the thighs, shins, forearms, shoulders, pectorals, and abdomen, with what looked like ribs made of armor protruding from its back at the spine, and coming around the sides of its torso, connecting with the chest plate. The armored platting covering the knees looked as though they had diamonds embedded into them, but they shined differently, and were similar to a pale blue color. The areas on its body not covered by armor, aside from the neckline were covered in red fur. Surprisingly, the Titan had a tail covered in red fur with armor plating and red spines that glistened in the sunlight like rubies, protruding from the vertebra of the appendage. Its hair was long, black, and messy with highlights of red in it, and its jaw was the same as the Titan they lured, devoid of any gums or lips, but some of the inside flesh of the cheeks were visible and puled with each movement. The Titan's hands had armored plating going down the front of each finger and sprouting off into claws at the nails, while it did the same for the feet, looking like armored caps over each toe and finger. In the center of its chest plate, was a crimson red gemstone that seemed to glow with power. To them, it looked like a creature to be feared, far worse then the Armored Titan ever could be, as it let out a breath of steam from its mouth, dropping the now dead Titan in its grasp.

"The hell is that thing?" Connie questioned, as they landed on a rooftop.

"It looks like some sort of, Beast Titan." Mikasa said.

"Whatever it is, it just stopped the Titans attacking HQ." Armin said. "An' it's gotta be at least 20Meters tall."

"That's taller then any of the Titans that can fit in Trost." Connie said. "Another 30Meters and it could go toe to toe with the Colossal Titan."

"Crap guys, it spotted us." Armin said, noticing the Titan's eyes on them.

As the Titan began moving towards them, it began to pick up speed as it ran. Mikasa prepared to fight, before remembering who they lead there, right as that Titan ran past them and threw a punch at the new Titan they saw.

"It wasn't coming for us." Armin said, as the two Titans began trading blows. "It was going for the Titan we lead here."

"Seems like there are more Titans who will attack their own kind." Mikasa said. "Now's our chance. HQ is cleared of Titans, let's move."

(For the sake of avoiding confusion, I'm just gonna call the Titans, Eren and Kaen, you all know who they are anyway.)

With the three of them entering HQ, the two Titans continued to duke it out. Eren threw a punch at Kaen, but the Saiyan Titan moved his head out of the way, and grabbed Eren by the arm, forcing it back, before pushing Eren to the ground.

Kaen pushed himself off Eren before jumping back as Eren pushed himself up, and charged at Kaen.

The two Titans collided, grabbing each other by the torso, with Eren tackling Kaen. Unfortunately, Kaen's Titan Height was greater then Eren's, and wrapping his arms around Eren's chest, he lifted the brunet Titan off the ground, and through the air, before slamming him down with an impact that shattered the ground bellow with an inverted suplex.

Picking himself up, Kaen rotated his neck, before Eren jumped up from behind him, and bit down on the exposed flesh between his neck and shoulder. Crying out in rage and pain, Kaen grabbed Eren by the head, and threw him forward slamming him into the ground once more. Kaen raised his hand, and prepared a Ki blast to hit Eren through the neck, and pierce him in the nape. However, before he could execute the final blow, Eren wrapped his legs around Kaen's arm, and flipped him forward, forcing Kaen's back spines into the ground and pinning him down, as both Titans roared in anger.

Inside the base, after having met up with the others, they all made their way down to the store room bellow, prepared to destroy any and all Titans that were there, but when they got there, all they saw was Mina sitting on the skull of a dead Titan, that somehow was not disappearing.

"What took you guys so long?" Mina questioned, with a yawn.

"Sorry if we're not all freaks like you." Jean said.

"That's enough." Mikasa said. "We need to refill our tanks. We've still got Titans loose in Trost."

"I've already got your equipment ready to go." Mina said pointing to the stocked Co2 canisters and detachable blades. "Just try not to kill the big guy outside."

"You mean the big monster looking Beast Titan?" Connie asked.

"The what?" Jean questioned.

"You didn't see the big guy on your way in? Well, he's on our side. He doesn't attack humans, he only attacks other Titans." Mina explained.

"Then there might be a problem." Mikasa said. "We brought another Titan who only targets other Titans."

"That is a problem." Mina said getting up from the skull, right before it began to vanish into steam. "Quickly, everyone get your gear restocked and loaded. We gotta make sure those two don't kill one another, they could be valuable weapons against the Titans."

"How did you keep that Titan's skull from dispersing?" Armin asked.

"I was running a small amount of my Ki through the bone while sitting on it." Mina stated. "Now everyone hurry up."

Without wasting time, the recruits all restocked their gear, and returned to the opening in HQ that had been opened by the attacking Titans, and they all gasped at what they saw. Both Titans that had been fighting, were standing as if their hands were pushing against one another, but it was obvious both were on their last legs as they were loosing their footings. Kaen's armor looked badly damaged and chipped.

"They've beaten one another to death." Mikasa gasped.

"Not good." Mina said, before the sound of a Titan's footsteps could be heard, and they turned to see one coming towards their location.

"Not good. That's the abnormal that attacked our group earlier." Armin stated.

Eren's head rose as he spotted the Titan, and with a burst of rage, he threw Kaen's arms to the side, sending his opponent to the ground, as he charged at the abnormal, and with a strong punch to the face, sent its neck flying back, before grabbing its head and tearing it off at the nape.

"No way." Armin said, before gasping as the monster Titan picked himself up, and turned to Eren.

Both Titans eyes met, and Kaen stepped back, showing the fight was over, and there was no need to continue. His act of diplomacy wouldn't have mattered anyway as Eren's body began producing more steam and fell forward, landing on the ground with a heavy thud, his chest pierced by a jagged piece of stone protruding upwards.

With little to no effort in its damaged form, Kaen stepped to Eren, and taking a knee bent down, reaching his hand towards the nape as something came out of it, before grabbing it and turning his attention back to HQ.

"Whoa, easy guys. It's cool. He's a friend." Mina said as Kaen reached his hand out. Opening the hand, everyone there gasped when they saw that what he'd plucked from that Titan's nape, was Eren Jeager.

"Eren." Mikasa cried out, grabbing her crush and hugging him close. She felt an overwhelming sense of relief wash over her as she began crying.

"You did good Kaen." Mina smiled, grabbing one of the tips of his fingers.

"Kaen?" Connie questioned.

"That can't be him." Jean said, breaking out in a cold sweat. "I saw him die with my own eyes."

"It's hard to believe I know, but let me explain." Mina said. "When there's a full moon out, Saiyans are capable of transforming into giant ape creatures called Oozaru. Saiyans also have an artificial means of initiating this transformation. I think Kaen might have accidentally swallowed some Titan Blood before he was eaten, and used the Power Ball in the Titan's stomach. Those conditions, allowed for him to transform into a Titan, one who fights other Titans. At least that's my theory. Kaen has had some experience in changing into a titan of a beast in the past so it's not all too far fetched, but he's never been capable of something like this. So far, he's unable to use a lot of Ki as a Titan, and has to rely on melee combat for the majority of the fighting. But he's on our side, don't worry."

"But then why'd he attack Eren?" Armin asked.

"Well, most likely it's because we had no clue that was Eren. Like us, he just thought it was another fifteen meter Titan." Mina said.

"Uh guys, is it just me or is he giving us the evil eye?" Connie asked.

"Not us." Armin said, noticing where Kaen's gaze was located. "He's looking straight at Jean."

"Why would he be giving the evil eye to me?" Jean questioned, feigning ignorance.

"We can sort that all out later. Kaen, can you get us to the gates?" Mina questioned.

Kaen looked to Mina and nodded, before holding out his hands for them to jump on. Almost instantly, everyone except for Jean jumped onto the Titan Saiyans hands.

"Come on dumbass, don't just stand there." Connie said.

"Like hell I'm getting on the hand of a Titan." Jean said. "For all we know, that Titan could be his true form, and he could just be waiting for us to let our guards down to eat us. You all heard what the pink haired freak said, he's had experience in this sort of thing as well."

"Would you shut it already? I get it, you don't trust Saiyans, but right now we're your only hope, of surviving this onslaught of Titans, flooding into the territory." Mina stated. "An' you're right, I did say Kaen had experience in size changing before, but I also said it was nothing like this transformation into a Titan. So either sit here and allow yourself to become Titan chow, or get the fuck on and trust us long enough for Kaen to get us over the wall."

Jean just looked at Mina, not really believing how she'd just talked to him like that, before he let out a sound of annoyance, and hopped on. With everyone there on the Titan's palm, Kaen removed his hand, and cupped the left hand, over the right, sheltering the passengers from any harm. So far he'd managed to make his way towards the wall, without encountering any other Titans, and that was a relief, but left only one problem remaining as he neared the wall.

"Another Armored Titan." One of the soldiers called.

"Prepare to fire the cannons."

"Wait, hold your fire." Mikasa called out, Kaen opening his hands enough to let her head pop out. "This Titan means us no harm."

"You there, all of you except for the freak and the Titan you're holding. Leave and never speak of this to anyone, do you understand?" The commanding officer said.

Without much else they could do, Jean and the others, aside from Mikasa, Eren, Armin, and Mina, stayed in front of the soldiers, standing next to Kaen, still in his Titan form.

The soldiers didn't know what to make of Mikasa's words, before Kaen reached the wall. Crouching down, Kaen leapt high into the air, and landed on the ledge of the wall, causing the soldiers and civilians bellow to cry out in horror, before he jumped down. To their shock, Kaen's landing was not all that loud, in fact several would go so far as to say he'd done everything in his power, to make sure it was quiet and didn't cause any damage.

Taking a knee, Kaen opened his hands, allowing for the group to get off, and for Mikasa and Armin to take Eren down, just before he began to wake up, and speak.

"You're mine… all of you." Eren said. "You're all gonna die."

His words caused Armin to look at him in horror, while Mina looked to Mikasa.

"I'm gonna take a wild guess and say he's not talking about us." Mina stated, before noticing their situation. "An' it looks like we're surrounded by some, rather closed minded individuals."

"Eren?" Armin asked.

The moment his name was said, Eren began to slowly respond, before he came back to his senses and gasped when he saw all the soldiers surrounding them, as well as when he saw Kaen in his Titan form.

"Armin, what's going on?" Eren questioned. "Why is there a Titan in front of us, and why are the military's weapons pointed in our direction?"

"Eren you alright?" Mikasa asked.

"Look at me, hey Eren can you move?" Armin questioned. "Listen you've got to tell them everything. They're terrified, but they'll understand."

"Hold on." Mina said, crouching down in front of Eren, and opening one of his eyes wider. "Eren, do you know what happened? What you were doing?"

"I… I don't know. I can't remember anything all that well after what happened with the Titan I saved Armin from." Eren said.

"Not good. The transformation might have messed with his memories some." Mina said, looking at Armin.

"Which means he can't explain what happened." Armin stated in realization.

"Hear that? Bastard said we're all gonna die." One of the soldiers said.

"No other way to take it. He wants to eat us. Just you watch."

"There is another way to take that actually." Mina stated looking to the two guards. "You could take it as he's being delirious and thought he was talking to a group of Titans. So stop trying to spread panic and fear through the troops, it's not a sound strategy to turn your blades on him."

"Cadets Eren Jeager! Mikasa Ackerman! Armin Arlelt. The three of you have jointly committed an act of high treason in conspiracy with the Saiyan female and a Titan! An' the proof is standing right next to you. Whether or not you receive a swift execution, depends on you." The CO said.

"What?" Eren questioned.

"It's a long story Eren, but trust me when I say you're a vital key in humanities survival." Mina said.

"Any attempt to move from where you stand now, anything I deem the least bit suspicious, will be met with cannon fire. Do not test me."

"Kaen, stand down." Mina said. "We don't wanna give them a reason to fire."

"Kaen?" Eren questioned.

"Answer carefully, Eren Jeager. What exactly are you?" The CO questioned. "Human, or Titan?"

"Wh-what is that supposed to mean?" Eren questioned.

"Eren, sometime after you were eaten by a Titan, you had transformed into one." Mina explained. "Given how the same thing happened to Kaen my theory about how it was possible, has been thrown out the window. But what you need to know is, you turned into a Titan and killed other Titans. This means, there's a possible link between humans, and the origins of Titans."

"I'm sorry sir, I don't understand." Eren called back to his CO.

"Son of a bitch is playing innocent." The CO said. "Answer me, damn you. Evasion will get you nowhere. Don't try to stall and pretend ignorance. You won't stand a chance. You'll be blown to hell, before you can assume your true form."

"He's telling the truth sir." Mina said. "His memories have been blurred out from the transformation. It is possible, that this is the first time he's ever transformed into a Titan."

"Don't you try and help him. It was a mistake to allow two more Titan monsters into the ranks of the Garrison." The CO stated.

"I've never even taken on the Great Ape form, and the Great Ape is only 30 Meters tall." Mina said. "But what Kaen's gone through, is like nothing he's ever accomplished in his life, yet he's only fought to kill the Titans since this transformation happened." She continued gesturing to Kaen. "This terrifies me just as much as it terrifies you, but I know Kaen. He'd never lose control of himself to the Titan, and he'd never willingly harm another innocent person."

"Your lies continue to anger me." The CO said. "Speak the truth now Eren Jeager, or we will open fire. You are a risk to the people of the walls, and I will not let this situation stand. I am well within my rights to eliminate you all, should you provoke me accordingly. Every moment I squander over your supposed innocence, puts us all in further jeopardy from another attack by the Armored Titan. Hell, for all I'm aware you're attack's a diversion for exactly that purpose. I'm sorry, humanities fate hangs in the balance, I cannot waste anymore time or manpower on you."

"Kaen, go." Mina stated, earning a look of concern from Kaen. "We'll be fine here, just go clear out the rest of the Titans in the city, then take out any coming through the destroyed gates."

Kaen just looked to Mina, before crouching down further, preparing to jump.

"Open fire." The CO commanded.

The echoing thunder of a cannon shot filled the air, and right before Kaen jumped, Mina twisted her body, a fist covered in acidic Ki, and punched the cannon ball. The resulting impact created an explosion that covered them in smoke and dust, but the smokescreen was dispersed when Mina let her power flow, and she was enveloped in a milky white aura, her right arm covered in minor burns from the explosion.

"It's gonna take a lot more then a cannon ball to take down a Saiyan." Mina stated.

"Stand down everyone."

Mina and Kaen looked to who spoke, and saw Commander Pyxis with Eri at his side, before the young child ran to them.

"Mama, Papa." Eri called out.

"Eri, you okay baby girl?" Mina asked, taking a knee and taking Eri's tackle into a hug.

"I'm fine Mama." Eri said, the hug ending. Eri looked from Mina, to Kaen, her eyes wide with curiosity, and a bit of fear. "Papa?"

Kaen just looked down at Eri, before he crouched his body down to look right at her. After a moment of looking at one another, Kaen lowered his head, and the nape of the neck began to bulge with the armor parting, before Kaen tore his way out of the nape, the tissue connecting his body to the Titans tearing off, with the markings from the connection visible around his eyes.

"Papa." Eri gasped happily.

Running up the steaming Titan corpse, Eri climbed her way up, before running into Kaen's arms, hugging him tight while he hugged her back.

"Papa, I don't care if you're a Titan. I know you'd never hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it." Eri said.

"Thanks for believing in me Kitten." Kaen said, pulling himself out the rest of the way, and landing on the ground, his boots and part of his pants missing from his suit.

"Okay, somebody talk to me now. What the hell is all this?" Eren questioned.

"All will be answered in due time cadet." Pyxis said. "For now, we need to clear the air a bit. You two, follow me. We need to chat."

Eren just looked at Armin and Mikasa, before following Pyxis, but before Kaen followed, he put Eri in Mina's arms, and whispered something to her, making her eyes widen with shock.

"What's wrong Mama?" Eri asked.

"Commander Pyxis?" Mina called, stopping the commander.

"Yes?"

"Where's Jean Kirstein?" She questioned with an angered look on her face.
