Saiyans of Eldia
"Mmm, nope. Not these either." Commander Pyxis said. "Being eaten by a Titan wouldn't be so bad, as long as it's a sexy female Titan."
"With all due respect, speak for yourself Commander." Kaen said, standing next to Eren with Armin, and Mikasa, while Eren remained on his knees, as Pyxis looked over the wall to the Titans gathered bellow. "I do not, want to be eaten by a Titan, again."
"Speaking of… Kaen, you told me a bit about your past, were you aware of your ability to turn into a Titan, and left that part out?" Pyxis inquired.
"No. In all honesty, I'm not sure if it's a Quirk I accidentally picked up back on my world, or if it's due to being exposed to this world's atmosphere and the Titan blood." Kaen said. "That being said, I wasn't aware of Eren's Titan-Shifting abilities either."
"Care to elaborate on your theory?"
"Well… Saiyans are creatures of adaptation and war. We thrive on the battlefield, and are able to adapt to almost any environment that doesn't kill us the instant we set foot on it, it's the reason why we're compatible for procreation with other sentient races like humans and the like. For instance, because we're a warrior race, we Saiyans retain our youthful appearances until our eighties, sometimes nineties, and we have a longer life span then humans. Two to three times as long, so long as we don't die from any sort of illness or fatal injury. I was soaked in Titan's blood, with gallons of the stuff soaking into my own injuries before I was devoured. So I'm thinking that my own adaptation genetics absorbed the Titan's blood and the elements of the atmosphere, and my anger is what triggered the transformation." Kaen explained.
"I see." Pyxis stated. "Can't say I understand too much, but I get the gist. So how is it you were devoured by a Titan?"
"That's easy sir." Kaen stated. "I was fed to one, by a cadet who recently graduated."
~Supply Stations~
"Holy shit, Kaen actually is alive." Connie said. "I know that Jean saw him get eaten, and he somehow became a Titan, but damn we have an actual fighting chance against the Titans now. With him and Eren on our side, we're unstoppable."
"Yeah. Hooray." Jean said, sounding very down about the situation.
"Not sounding very enthusiastic there Jean." Reiner said.
"I don't exactly trust Kaen, or Eren at the moment." Jean said, before his face was slammed into the table he was sitting at, with Eri being the cause as she jumped on his head.
"What the hell?" Connie questioned, backing away.
"Let me ask you Jean." Mina said, coming around from behind, Eri jumping off the man's head and onto the table. "Do you not trust Kaen because of his new awoken abilities, or did you distrust him before you fed him to a Titan?"
"Hold on, Mina what's going on?" Bertolt asked.
"What are you talking about?" Jean questioned before Mina slammed his head into the table again, causing more blood to spill from his already broken nose.
"Don't play dumb with me Jean." Mina stated, keeping his head pinned to the table. "Kaen saved you from being devoured by a Titan, he risked his own neck in his weakened state to get you to safety, and what did you do in return? You kicked the back of his legs, and fed him to a Titan. The same Titan that would have devoured you, if it hadn't been for him."
"Jean… tell me it isn't true man." Connie said, wanting to not believe what Mina was saying. "Tell me she's lying, that she's making this all up."
"I swear to you, it isn't true…" Jean said.
"Wanna rethink your response?" Mina asked, holding up her free hand, and letting some acid drip from it to the table.
Jean just stared at the acid as it sizzled and ate through the wooden table, before his eyes were on Mina's approaching hand, fear etched into his face as the lethal substance was inched closer to him by the second.
"FINE. OKAY YES I FED THAT GODDAMN FREAK TO A TITAN." Jean shouted, giving Mina a chance to pull her acidic hand back. "I fed him to a Titan, and I'd do it again. Freaks like you, your daughter, and him, are not even supposed to exist. I was doing the world a favor, and would have finished off the clearing of you three, if he'd just died inside that damned Titans stomach like he was supposed to."
"Then this is what you deserve." Mina said, slamming her acidic hand on his shoulder, before she raised him off the table and threw him to the ground.
Crying out in pain as the acid ate his flesh, Jean picked himself up and looked at Mina with disdain, before Reiner came into view from the right and hit him in the face with a full force punch, right before he grabbed Jean by his jacket.
"What the hell gives you the right to choose who lives and who dies?" Reiner questioned, before he threw Jean to a brown haired girl who hit him with a roundhouse kick to the head, knocking him to the ground.
"Kaen was fighting for us, he was fighting to keep us safe. To save humanity." Ymir said, slamming her foot on his chest.
"That freak has a tail and inhuman powers, and now he can turn into a Titan and turn us into his lunch whenever he feels like it. I was saving what remained of humanity from him." Jean coughed, before he was kicked in the face from the side, by Eri as she had an angered look on her face that scared him as she jumped back onto the table.
"My Papa's a hero." Eri said, looking down at Jean from the table. "He's always been a hero, and has always done what's right. He saved me, my Mama, and a lot of other people on our world. You deserve to be eaten by a Titan."
"We're not here on this world by choice Jean." Mina said, stepping up next to Ymir with Reiner on the other side of the brunet. "But we Saiyans are here to help. However we won't show any mercy the next time, you try to stab us in the back."
"Fuck. You." Jean growled, his glare intense and threatening.
"You brought this upon yourself asshole." Connie said, before stomping on Jeans face.
~Pyxis Group~
"I see." Pyxis said, pulling out a flask. "So a cadet fresh from the academy, fed you to the very Titan you saved him from."
"Yes sir." Kaen said.
"That is troubling indeed." Pyxis stated, tossing the flask to the Saiyan. "Feel free to have a swig, as we'll put that situation on the back burner for now. At this moment, we're needing to deal with a more, pressing matter."
"The hole in the gates." Kaen said, taking a swig of the alcohol in the flask. "An' it doesn't look like the Armored Titan has made an appearance yet."
"If we don't plug up that hole, all your efforts in slaying Titans will have been for nothing." Pyxis stated.
"I think I might be able to do something about it." Kaen said. "If I were able to manage shifting into a Titan again, I could use the power of my Quirk, to block the opening with something large enough to act as a blockade, and make it solid enough to cut off the Titans path into Trost."
"Would you be able to carry something heavy?" Pyxis inquired.
"Ideally yeah. Do you have something in mind?" Kaen asked, tossing the flask back to Pyxis.
"There's a large boulder in the town square. It landed there after the Colossal Titan kicked in the gates of Wall Trost. The plan is to have either you, or Eren lift the boulder and carry it to the opening, before blocking the gaping passage." Pyxis explained stepping up to the duo. "What do you say, Cadet Jeager?"
"S-Sir?" Eren asked.
"That hole in the gates. Do you think that you could plug it up, son?" Pyxis asked, crouching down to look at him.
"Well I… I don't know. I honestly believe Kaen would have a better shot at managing that then I." Eren said. "It's possible, but at the moment, I don't understand my power anymore then you do. It's just, I sorta feel irresponsible giving you an answer, 'cause I don't really know."
"Eren. Let me tell you something." Kaen said. "There's a hero from my world, with a quote I took to heart. With great power, comes great responsibility. You have the power to change the tides of this battle against the Titans. Take a look behind you."
Eren looked up at Kaen, before turning to look behind himself, and saw the vast outstretch of the civilization behind him. Down bellow, he could see all the people, who were anxious, and terrified, with what he assumed was anticipation for the Armored Titan.
"I can help. I can carry the boulder in your stead, but if the Armored Titan makes an appearance, I can't fight it, and seal the opening at the same time on my own." Kaen stated. "I need you out there doing this, in case the Armored Titan does show up."
"Let me rephrase my question." Pyxis said, Eren turning to look right at him. "Are you willing to, Cadet Jeager, or not?"
There was a tense moment of silence as Eren thought over Kaen's words, and Pyxis's question, before Kaen smiled as he saw the fire lit in the young mans eyes.
"I'll do it." Eren said. "I'll do it. I don't know if I can seal that hole. But, I'll do it."
"That's what I like to hear." Pyxis smiled. "You my boy, have the heart of a lion."
~Down Bellow~
"I can't believe he'd do something so horrible." Reiner said, watching as Jean was taken away on a stretcher.
"Given the recent revelation, and Kaen's current position right now, it's safe to assume he won't be held accountable for his actions." Mina stated. "So, the best outcome for a punishment for his actions, has already been dealt, with us being the ones to give it to him."
"I still can't believe he straight up lied to us about what actually happened to Kaen." Connie said.
"He's afraid." Mina said. "He's afraid of what Kaen and I are capable of. He's terrified of our abilities, and he's showing it in his own way."
"Still doesn't give him the right to do what he did." Ymir stated. "Murder is murder, no matter how you look at it."
"You won't hear me complaining." Mina stated.
"Mina, Eri." Kaen called to them, landing on the ground at the table.
"Kaen, what's happening?"
"Armin came up with a plan of attack, and Pyxis is putting said plan into action. He believes it might work, but he and Erin both know, Titans aren't our only enemy at the moment." Kaen said, looking to the other recruits.
"Hey, don't look at us." Reiner said. "I'm opposed to the idea of you dying. Your power is astonishing."
"We just got done beating the snot out of Jean." Mina said.
"I appreciate you all defending my honor." Kaen said.
"Kaen, five years ago the Armored Titan first appeared soon after the Colossal. What's gonna happen if it appears again?" Mina asked.
"I'm not sure." Kaen said. "I barely had the energy to beat Eren in that fight. At best, it was a draw between the two of us."
"Here." Mina said, pulling a bag of Senzu Beans and a Rockstar from her Duplication Void. "You look like you need a pick-me-up."
"What are those?" Ymir asked.
"Senzu Beans, and an energy drink." Kaen said. "The energy drink is something you're all welcome to, but the Senzu Beans only work on Saiyans."
"What do they do?"
"Replenish stamina and heal injuries short of death." Kaen said.
"That's not fair then." Krista said.
"Hey, I didn't grow or test them, I only got them from my sister." Kaen stated. "I wish they worked on humans, but they don't, I'm sorry."
"Papa, can I have a Rockstar?" Eri asked.
"Ask your mother." Kaen said, before looking to the others. "You all should grab your gear. Pyxis will be making his announcement soon."
"Right. We'll be back in a moment." Reiner said, as they left.
With some privacy, Mina turned to Kaen and raised a brow.
"You know you can beat the Armored Titan after eating a Senzu Bean, and you know they work on humans just as well as Saiyans, so why lie about it?" She asked.
"Their Ki." Kaen said. "I don't know how, but after I left my Titan body, I regained a bit of control over my Ki sensing abilities, and I sensed at least three within that group, are hiding something. I can't pinpoint it yet, but I wanna see where it goes." He explained.
"Alright, so what about the Senzu Beans? Why lie about those?"
"I get the feeling, the corruption of this Kingdom, goes farther then the royal family. An' I don't wanna risk anything in case my gut feeling is correct. But I'm only gonna be sharing these with Eren." Kaen stated.
"I guess you make a valid point." Mina stated. "So, answer me this. Eren doesn't seem to recall anything from his time as a Titan, and he was unconscious when he came out of the nape. Why weren't you?"
"Asura and Oozaru." Kaen said. "Not much more I can say about that, since they don't know how I got this power either. I told Pyxis a theory that it might have had something to do with Saiyans being creatures of Adaptation, but that's the best I could do. I don't know for sure how I gained the power of a Titan, or how Eren did either. But I do know, this isn't the last we'll encounter this problem."
"Freaky." Mina said.
"ATTENTION!" Pyxis's voice echoed like thunder.
"Damn he's loud." Kaen groaned.
"No kidding." Mina said, giving Eri a Rockstar.
"That's my cue, I gotta return to his side." Kaen said.
Quickly giving Mina a kiss on the cheek, and Eri a hug, Kaen jumped into the air, and flew to the commander's side, landing next to Eren and standing at the ready, before handing him a Senzu Bean.
"Here, eat this. It'll replenish your strength, and heal your wounds if you have any." Kaen said.
"Thanks?" Eren said, eating the bean. "Not bad. What is it?"
"It's a Senzu Bean, I told the others it only works on Saiyans, so keep its true affects being indiscriminate between us, okay?" Kaen asked. "If they find out about them working on you, we'll say that it's a new discovery, but they work on Titan Shifters like us."
"But why something as miraculous as this to begin with?" Eren asked.
"Let's just say, something about the chain of command above Commander Pyxis, rubs me the wrong way." Kaen stated, before shutting up to let Commander Pyxis continue.
"Take note. The blueprint of the Trost Recovery Operation is this." Pyxis began. "Our primary objective is to reseal the hole. Yes you heard right, what's more it'll be done manually. As for how the task will be done, that's where these two come in. Allow me to introduce, Cadet Eren Jeager, and Commander Kaen Yagi."
"Commander?" Kaen questioned as he stepped up.
"Don't let appearances deceive you. These two young men, are in fact the successful product of cutting edge science." Pyxis said. "Fantastic as this may sound, Cadet Jeager and Commander Yagi, both possess the ability to fabricate and control a Titan Body, at will."
'I have zero clue, how I'm supposed to transform damn it.' Kaen thought.
"Recall the massive boulder, roughly a league from the gate. Having assumed their Titan forms, Cadet Jeager will hoist said boulder onto his back, and schlep it to the hole, and voila, all while Commander Yagi watches his six, and disposes of any Titans, and disposes of the Armored Titan, should the lummox make an appearance." Pyxis continued. "An' this is where you all come in. Your job, will be to defend and watch their backs, should the Armored Titan make an appearance. Yes, defend a couple of Titans, against their own kind."
"This plan sounds like it could work." Kaen said, loud enough for Pyxis to hear. "But there's more then one problem with it, and one of those problems is, even the strongest, and most veteran of soldiers, can only take so much, before something gives, and they snap."
"You're right. Which is why, what I say next, may be the linchpin to this plans success or failure." Pyxis said, before taking in a deepened breath, raising his voice loudly again to speak with the troops bellow. "Anyone wishing to leave, will be by my personal order, not be charged with treason!"
Kaen could see, that the crowd bellow had already started to panic, and even several high ranking commanders, had drawn their blades on those of lower ranks who were leaving, before they stopped at hearing Pyxis's words.
"Those who have seen a Titan first hand, will not be expected to revisit such horrors again." Pyxis continued. "Whomever this applies to, you may leave with my blessing. Additionally, anyone with family or loved ones, they would spare from the same trauma may also leave. The crown will continue to recognize your service. Thank you, and good luck." With his piece said, Pyxis stepped back, and left the crowd to decide on what they'd do next.
Down bellow, Kaen could see that nearly, if not all the soldiers who had begun to leave, turned back and regrouped with the rest of the main forces of the Kingdom's southern military.
"Can you even make that promise?" Kaen asked. "You're not the King, and you're not the highest ranking officer in the military either."
"True, but I do have the authority for at least this." Pyxis said. "To be honest, word of your demise had reached my office, long before I came to intervene in your impromptu execution. It would appear Kirstein had reported your death sometime before you reappeared as a Titan. An' when I saw your daughter, crying over your death, I knew I had to do something, to keep others from feeling that same pain, anymore then there already is, this day."
"I see." Kaen said with a small smile. "An' here I thought you were just some twisted and cynical old man."
"You got me." Pyxis said with a laugh. "At my core, I'm a big old softy grandpa."
"By the way, what's with calling me Commander?" Kaen asked.
"The backstory for that, will be for you to come up with. If it helps, bring Mina and maybe even Eri in on it, and try to drum up a story that'll tug at the heartstrings." Pyxis smirked.
"This isn't gonna end well for Eren and I when this is all over, is it?" Kaen asked.
"I'm sorry. But what I can assume is gonna happen, is you and Eren are gonna be restrained, and then put on trial." Pyxis said. "Best case scenario, they leave you in the care and watch of an officer in the Scout Regiment. Like Levi or Commander Erwin."
"Worst case?"
"Let's just say, Eri will be crying over your demise a second time. For good I'm afraid." Pyxis stated.
"Promise me, you'll make sure Mina and Eri are safe." Kaen said.
"I give you my word, that they will be safe, and under my protection." Pyxis promised, before stepping back up after the soldiers finished regrouping. "Now, think back four years ago, namely the mission to take back Wall Maria. I bring it up, because you all deserve to have your suspicions confirmed. Officially, we labeled it reconnaissance. But in fact, as most of you probably know, it was little more then a purge; a thinly disguised exercise in population control."
"Not good." Eren said.
"What's he talking about Eren?" Kaen asked.
"A year after Wall Maria fell, the government drafted civilians and soldiers alike, and sent them out to the Titan infested fields under the guise of gathering any useful information, and sent a certain number out through all four outer wall cities of Wall Rose, like Trost." Eren said. "Many of the people had their suspicions, but he's openly admitting to it being nothing more, then thinning out our numbers, to make food and rations last. One of the people in the group that left Trost, was Armin's grandfather, officially making the three of us, orphans."
"From the emotions I'm hearing in Commander Pyxis' voice, he didn't sound too fond of the plan himself." Kaen said. "I'm guessing he was opposed to it, like many of the others who were in on the details."
"We knew this in our hearts, of course we did." Pyxis continued. "Yet we turned a blind eye. We supported the state-sponsored myth, because the deaths of our fellow human beings, allowed us to survive. Pure and simple."
"Eren, does Armin get mad easily?" Kaen asked, looking over his shoulder, to the blonde.
"Not really. But I don't have to feel his Ki, to know he's furious about this." Eren said.
"The guilt of this, is ours. We share the blame, all of us." Pyxis stated. "The citizens of Wall Maria sustained themselves on the wholesale slaughter of the refugees who'd flown to us for help. But turnabout is fair play, is it not?"
"Now I see what he's getting at with admitting to this." Kaen said.
"What do you mean?" Eren asked.
"Just listen." The Saiyan stated.
"If Wall Maria succumbs, the population will fall by a whole other order of magnitude!" Pyxis said. "The lands comprising Wall Sina, wouldn't support half the people now living. If we're wiped off the face of the earth, the culprits will not have been the Titans, let me assure you. No, no. We'll have done it to ourselves. If the line isn't drawn now, it won't be drawn at all. If we must die, then let us die here."
There was a tense moment of silence, as all the soldiers bellow, digested the information given to them.
"He told them this truth, to light a fire within them." Kaen said. "When one fights for a single cause on their own, it's not worth much. But when one rallies those around him, to fight for that cause, by telling them what they might not want to hear, but what they need to hear, then the ideal is that much closer to becoming reality."
Eren was silent for a moment, as he let Kaen's words sink in, before he gathered the courage for what he needed to say.
"Kaen, I don't know if I'll be strong enough in Titan form, to lift that rock in the first place. But I'm sure as hell, going to try." Eren stated.
"That's all anyone can ask of you Eren." Kaen smiled. "Eren, I want you to remember something; whenever you're feeling down, like you're about to give up remember what you're fighting for, and tell yourself to go further beyond, and you'll surpass your limits."
~Mission Start~
"Let's get one thing straight. Whatever you two are, all I care about is getting that rock in place. Can we count on the two of you?"
"Yes sir." Eren stated.
"Do you even have to ask?" Kaen questioned.
"So, how do we trigger the transformation?" Eren asked the Saiyan running alongside him.
"How should I know?" Kaen asked.
"What? But you were the one who came out of the Titan's body like you'd done it before." Eren said.
"Hate to break it to ya, but that was literally the first time I transformed into a Titan." Kaen stated. "But I think I might have a theory about how we can access our Titan Forms."
"An' that would be what?" Eren asked.
"We bleed." Was all Kaen said, before jumping off the wall as they reached his drop point, and bit down on his hand.
In a flash of orange lightning, Kaen's body lit up, as the air rumbled with the thunder strike of the Titan Transformation. The Titan Saiyan landed on the ground, with an earth trembling thud, and let out a deep breath, with a lake of steam, before he let out a battle cry roar, and slaughtered any and all Titans coming in his direction.
Running for the direction of the rock that Eren was supposed to move, the Titan Saiyan cleared any imposing Titans that got in his way. But as he was traveling towards the boulder, he felt uneasy about this transformation. He had no clue how he was supposed to transform, or if he'd have been able to maintain control over himself when he had. He decided to put all that on the back burner for now, as he reached Eren's jumping point, and looked up, just as the young man jumped, and shifted into a Titan, with a bright flash of light illuminating the air.
'Alright Eren.' Kaen thought, as the Titan Shifter landed on the ground. 'I'll cover you, while you move the boulder and…'
Kaen stopped in his contemplations, as he moved his head to the side, evading Eren's fist as he attacked him. Kaen looked to Eren's arm, before to the Titan himself, and saw that his eyes were glowing green.
'He's lost control.' Kaen thought, before he acted quickly and pulled Eren into a lock.
"Damn it, what's going on?" Reiner questioned.
Kaen looked to Reiner, then directed his attention to Eren's eyes. The Cadet looked to Eren's eyes, and gasped at what he saw.
"He's completely lost it. He's not in control anymore." Reiner said.
"EREN." Mikasa called out, rushing to his side.
"No don't." Reiner tried to stop her.
The moment Mikasa landed on Eren's shoulder, Kaen had to grab and move her, before the Titan Shifter moved in a way that tore his arm partly off, while also allowing for him to attack Mikasa. Eren's fist landed on the cobblestone ground, creating debri and flying stones, one of which cut Mikasa under her right eye.
"Mikasa, are you okay?" Reiner questioned, as Kaen put her down safely on the roof he was on.
"I'll be fine, it's just a scratch." Mikasa stated.
"Looks like it might leave a scar." Reiner said.
Their attention was drawn back to the fight, when Kaen grabbed Eren by the back of the head, and slammed his face into the ground several times, angering Mikasa.
"The hell do you think you're doing?" Mikasa questioned.
"Whoa, hold up." Reiner said, stopping her from charging forward. "He's just incapacitating Eren. The kid lost control and is going wild. That's why he attacked you, so this is for the best."
Kaen lifted Eren off the ground, putting him back on his feet, before the Saiyan slammed his foot into Eren's chest, sending him sliding back to the wall, and collided with it hard, before slumping to the ground, steam pouring out of him.
'Sorry kid.' Kaen thought as he made his way to the boulder. 'We'll try and work this out, another time. But right now, I've got a job to finish.'
Gripping the bottom of the boulder, Kaen coursed One-for-All, through his body and his Titan body, allowing himself the physical strength needed to lift the boulder off the ground. The strength wasn't gonna be enough though, as Kaen continued to pull at the boulder, with the only distance from the ground he got, was two feet off the ground, in Titan measurements.
'Damn it. C'mon you stupid Titan Body. I'm coursing my Quirk through you at the power level I can safely handle, so why…' That's when Kaen stopped, as he realized what was going on that was holding him back. 'I have to push by Quirk past my limits, and destroy my body, to get this boulder, where it needs to be.'
Gritting his teeth, and letting out a roar of rage, Kaen pushed harder, lifting the boulder off the ground even further. Kaen hissed in pain, as he raised the boulder up, before the load became lighter, and on the other side, he saw Eren raising the boulder into the air, his eyes now looking sane and in control. Kaen was confused at what was happening, and how Eren was back in control of himself, before he spotted Armin on Eren's shoulder.
"That's it Eren. You both got this." Armin cheered on.
Kaen looked at Armin, then to Eren, giving a firm nod of approval, before they raised the boulder into the air, and Kaen allowed for it to drop onto his shoulder, as he took the weight of the burden all on himself. Steam poured from every pore of his body, as the tears in his armor, and flesh were rapidly repairing themselves. Turning to the gate, Kaen took it one step at a time as he marched towards the hole in Wall Rose.
"Kaen, you're doing it." Reiner said, following Kaen along the rooftops. "Keep going, if you manage this, you'll be able to keep Mina, and Eri safe."
Kaen marched forward, determination in every step he took as he got closer and closer to his goal. As he moved forward, a single motto kept echoing in his mind, pushing his burning passion forward, even as one of his ankles snapped and he fell to one knee.
"No." Reiner cried out.
"G-Go Beyond…"
Reiner gasped as he heard that raspy, gravely voice echo from the Saiyan Titan's lips. To his shock, Kaen's arms moved upwards, hoisting the boulder over his head, as power filled him to the brim, and a smile spread across his lips.
"Plus, ULTRA!" The Saiyan Titan shouted, throwing the boulder like it was a dodge ball, as it went straight for the hole, where the gate used to be.
The boulder went flying through the air, barreling through the Titans that were heading for Kaen, before it slammed into the wall, building up a cloud of dust. The scouts waited with baited breath, watching as the dust and smoke slowly settled, before their eyes widened in relief and hope, as the boulder was wedged deeply into the hole in what used to be the gates.
"He did it." One of the scouts cheered, giving the others cause to celebrate and cheer as well.
Slowly, the Saiyan Titan lowered himself into a full on kneeling position, fists on the ground as if he were bowing in apology, before the armor on the nape parted in a burst of steam, and Kaen tore through the Titan flesh, panting heavily as the nerves disconnected him from his Titan body.
"I honestly thought I threw that thing too hard, and it was just gonna ram right through, causing the hole to become larger." Kaen huffed, pulling himself out of the Titan's body, before falling to the side.
The instant he fell, Kaen was caught by Reiner as he'd jumped to Kaen's Titan body.
"You did it man. You're one amazing Titan, you know that?" He smirked.
"Thanks but…" Kaen paused as he looked around, seeing the damage that had already been done. "Today is a far cry from an actual victory."
"I know what you mean." Reiner said. "A lot of lives have been lost this day. Lives that could have been spared if we hadn't froze up in terror, when the Colossal Titan appeared."
"Hey, you two."
Reiner and Kaen turned around to see a rather short man, with black hair, sharp eyes, and wearing the Scout Regiments uniform. He stood on the Saiyan Titan's corpse, with one of his boots on one of the bladed vertebra of the spine, before pointing to Eren with one of his blades as his Titan collapsed. Kaen could tell this man was not one to trifle with, even if he was small in stature, he was fierce in power and combat.
"Mind explaining to me, just what the hell I'm looking at?" He questioned, his glare on Kaen, and the tail that was attached to him. "An' just what the hell are you, monkey boy?"
~A/N~
As you can all plainly see, F.M,D does not care for Jean Kirstein one bit. An' I assume he will continue to make him the ass of this story.
