Hello readers, Chapter 106 is here! This week the Gerudo are launching an attack on Gerudo palace to take it back from the Ebony Sisterhood and the mysterious rebel 'MAGIS'. Just what surprises does she have for everyone? Read and find out!
Running through Gerudo Palace was a rebel who belonged to the Ebony Sisterhood, she was frantic and gasping out for breath as she hurried to her destination; Nabooru's personal study, which was now occupied by a lone woman.
"Lady 'MAGIS', I apologize for the intrusion, but we have an emergency situation!" shouted the rebel, saluting to her, "I regret to inform you that-"
"The false king's people are launching an assault on the town, I already know." spoke the woman in a monotone voice as she looking over the contents of a book.
The Gerudo woman was of average height, clad in a black dress with a white frills, a matching white apron, and a bonnet. She wore white stockings with black dress shoes. Her red hair was done into a short bouffant style. It was an odd outfit for the Gerudo, who were usually accustomed to wearing silk desert wear, but what was even odder was two devices that she wore over her ears with antennae sticking up from them.
This woman was only known as 'MAGIS', an Elite Rebel of the Ebony Sisterhood, and was considered to be one of the closest girls to their leader Mother Eclipsis. After the sisterhood took over Gerudo Town she had taken ownership of Gerudo Palace itself in Eclipsis' name.
"Our sisters have tried to fight them off, but they have us surrounded! They've even gotten some of our people to defect to their side!" spoke the rebel, "What should we do?"
"...it seems we may have miscalculated the perseverance of the false king and his people." spoke MAGIS as she closed the book, "They launched a retaliation far sooner than estimated, Mother Eclipsis will be displeased. Is the false king with them?"
"There's no sign of him, the attack appears to be led by his brides." the rebel spoke, "They're approaching the palace as we speak!"
MAGIS stood silently, and the antennae on her head shifted up and down slightly.
"...it shall be fine, I have already assessed the threat level." MAGIS spoke, she walked over to a pen and paper and started drawing on it. Within practically a minute she handed the rebel a drawn map of the palace, "Send the guards to the spots indicated on this map to deal with the false king's brides, I'll handle the rest."
"By the goddesses, how did you manage to make..." the rebel gasped out, shocked at how detailed the map was and how it was drawn in such little time, "But wait, this ensures at least one will-"
"It will be fine, I shall deal with them myself." MAGIS spoke, as a strange shifting and grinding sound could be heard...
"Hold them back!" a rebel shouted.
"It's no good, they're too strong!" shouted another rebel being forced back, "Even the ones from the prison have been freed!"
"Yee-hah! Take this ya jerks!" shouted Togau leaping into the air and throwing her hand ax, sending it spinning through the air and smacking away the rebels, while Saria ran in and bombarded the rebels away with a barrage of Deku Seeds.
"We're almost there, we just need to take back the palace and we'll win!" Saria said, using her vines to lasso up some more rebels.
Some rebel archers ran up to the side of the palace roof and fired arrows into the air to come down on the retaliating citizens, but they were driven off by arrows fired by Aviel and her archery club, as well as Dualsera blasting the arrows to ashes using her fire power.
"This is bad, they're too strong!" shouted a rebel, looking up to see Dualsera and Aviel both flying in the air above them.
"Hey, what's up?" Aviel grinned widely, before she and Dualsera attacked them with bomb arrows and elemental magic.
"Chupil, go!" Sarami shouted to her little ChuChu pet.
"Chio!" Chupil squealed out and took on the form of a large mallet, pounding down on the rebels that tried to attack her. Nemisa flipped through the air and did a flying kick to a rebel to protect Sarami and Chupil.
"That's an impressive little friend you have there." Nemisa said to Sarami as she punched away a rebel and then kicked down another.
"Why thank you, I love the new jewelry you have!" Sarami said pointing out the bracelets on Nemisa's wrists and ankles.
"Thanks, they're a lot more durable than my old steel bands." Nemisa said, blocking a rebel's sword with one of the bracelets before kicking her away, "They also have a power to them that I'd like to master. I'll need an edge like that if I want to take on that Elite Rebel that I lost to before..." she added with a slight scowl.
Sarami placed a hand on her shoulder, "Just don't push yourself too hard, okay Nemisa? I know you feel bad about what happened with the rebel attack, but you're only one person."
Nemisa stared at Sarami; as a rebel tried to attack the dancer from behind she thrust up her fist and punched them in the face without even looking. Nemisa smiled and placed her hand over Sarami's.
"Of course, thank you Sarami. I'm so glad Link selected you as his bride as well, I can't wait for the day you and I marry Link and we can start having our families together." Nemisa nodded.
Nemisa then quickly swung her leg around and knocked another rebel away, before charging up the staircase to the palace along with the others.
The group ran through the entry hall of the palace, taking out any rebel guards that got in their way. Nemisa grabbed at one stunned guard and pulled her up eye-to-eye.
"Where's the Elite Rebel in charge of things here?" Nemisa demanded.
"Heh, like I'd tell you..." the rebel grinned weakly, "We know you're not gonna kill us, so why should I say anything? Go find her yourself."
Nemisa narrowed her eyes and bashed the rebel into a wall, making her gag out and fall unconscious.
"She's got a point, they know Link doesn't want us to kill anyone, so they don't think their lives are in danger." Aviel said, bonking another rebel on the head with her crossbow as they were trying to get back up.
"Then we'll just have to split up and track the Elite Rebel down ourselves, we capture her and the rest of the rebels will probably surrender!" Saria said.
Everyone nodded at the plan and all went off in different directions throughout Gerudo Palace, but unaware they were all being watched...
Nemisa ran through the halls, kicking and punching away the guards that came at her. There was one particular place she had in mind to check on before confronting the rebel leader, the royal childbearer's quarters where Ragome and Leivuri and the others usually were.
The dancer had to admit she was somewhat jealous of them all for living the life of bearing Link's children like she was so eager to do when the Gerudo finally achieve the peace they wanted. Ever since she was a young girl having met her mother's pregnant friend and seeing her glow of motherhood, she knew she wanted to be a part of that, to become pregnant and feel that same sensation. Link was more than eager to give her that opportunity someday, but until then she vowed to protect the women that were birthing his children.
As she ran down a hall, she heard some laughing from inside a room, which just so happened to be her own personal bedroom. She curiously opened the door and looked inside.
"Look, I'm Lunk the false king! I'm a derpy wood head!" laughed a Gerudo rebel waving around a plushie of a Deku Scrub and speaking with a low, dim-witted sounding voice.
"Nyaaaa, and I'm Nemmy-sa, a wimpy pussy who wants to be your queen of the dummies!" said another rebel waving around a plush of an orange two-tailed cat and speaking with a deliberately high-pitched voice.
There were three rebel girls sitting in Nemisa's room, having gotten into her large collection of plushies. Two of the rebels just so happened to be playing with two very special plushies of Nemisa's, as they were gifts Link won for her in festivals after he learned about her love of the soft plush dolls.
"Okay, let's get busy!" said the first rebel, and the two girls then started bumping the deku scrub and cat plushies into each other, as the rebel sitting between them blushed heavily at her friends' little show.
"Hey knock it off you two, these things are wholesome!" the rebel said hugging a Goron plush, "And don't be so rough with them, what if they tear?"
"Oh yeah? Who's gonna stop us?" grinned the first rebel, grabbing the deku plush and preparing to tear it's arm off deliberately to make a point.
"Uh... g-girls?" spoke the rebel with the cat plush, pointing over at the door.
The other two looked to see a certain Gerudo warrior and dancer staring at them; her facial features were darkened, but her eyes were a blood red with fury, and her hair was slowly waving around up in the air like a great force was manifesting around her, as she cracked her knuckles. The three rebels felt a horrifying chill of fear in their bones as they heard the woman speak,
"So you have chosen death."
"KYAAAAA!" screamed out the three rebels in terror as Nemisa cast her shadow over them.
When it was all over the three rebels were all tied up together, and they were covered in bumps and bruises. The one who had been holding the Goron plush only had slightly less injuries than the others.
"This should hold you three until I'm done here." Nemisa said, she was about to leave, when she thought for a second and placed three plushies on the heads of the girls.
"What is this for?" one of the rebels asked in confusion, looking up at the puppy on her head.
"Simple, if I come back and they've fallen off your heads, next time it will be even more painful." Nemisa smirked as she strolled out of her room, leaving the three rebels so terrified and stiff that they absolutely refused to move.
Nemisa hurried along toward the childbearers' quarters. She was naturally worried about all of them, though in particular the mute woman Esolu. Link had been so devastated by what he had thought was Esolu's death by the hands of the Order of Reyahm cultist he practically went insane with rage, which awakened the dangerous power of the Fierce Deity.
"Please be safe everyone...!" Nemisa spoke to herself, blocking off a muscular rebel's spiked mace using her leg bracelet before bashing her into a wall, "For your sake, and so Link doesn't have to endure that kind of pain again!"
Her route lead her into the dining room where, not too long ago, everyone ate and conversed with one another in lively meetings and friendly chat each day, but now the room was very empty and quiet. As Nemisa came through the door, it quickly slammed down behind her and iron bars clamped it shut. She then looked to see the other doors slam shut as bars came down over them as well, indicating she was trapped in there.
"What? When did this palace have trap doors?" Nemisa asked looking for a way to get out, but saw even the high-up windows were barred off.
"So you have arrived, as per expected from my calculations."
Nemisa turned to see a Gerudo she didn't recognize before, she was wearing a black frilly dress with a white apron. She stood tall and stiff, and had a expressionless gaze aimed at the dancer.
'I've seen that kind of outfit before, back when I was slave at Monsieur Adulph's manor, it's a maid's dress.' Nemisa thought to herself, 'But what are those strange things on her head?'
"Welcome home. Now would you like a bath, or would you like to eat supper first?" asked the Gerudo maid, tilting her body to the side at the waist and holding out her hand.
"Huh...? Bath?" Nemisa asked in confusion.
"... ...oh wait. It seems I used the wrong introduction, my bad." the maid said in a monotone voice, "It appears my speech function may need re-calibrating soon."
"I don't know what you're talking about, but are you the Elite Rebel running things?" Nemisa asked.
"Indeed. My identification is 'MAGIS', and Mother Eclipsis has placed me in charge of Gerudo Town while she is in Gerudo Fortress making preparations for the war with Hyrule." the maid said with a bow, "And I vow to see through to it, my loyalty to her is second only to the great engineer of awesomeness, Meokuro."
Nemisa stared at MAGIS still in confusion of her words, but shook it off and pointed out her finger.
"Listen you, we've taken back the rest of the town, and now we're taking back the palace." Nemisa said, "Its best you surrender now and save yourself a beating."
"...you are intending to take back the palace? That's not possible." MAGIS shook her head, "For you are the ones who have been taken by the palace."
"What are you talking about?" Nemisa asked.
MAGIS explained, "You see, after I first found out about the attack on the town, I had iron bar traps like these installed at key points throughout the palace. According to my sensors, your fellow brides of the false king have just been trapped in separate rooms like you currently are."
Sure enough, as the two were conversing, Togau had ran into one room of the palace to confront some guards, only for a door and iron bars to come down to seal her inside. This happened in the rooms Aviel, Saria, Sarami, Kesuta and Korume had ran into as well.
"Rather than attempt to defeat the entire retaliation against us, I put together a more efficient method, capturing the brides of the false king and putting them at my mercy. I'm the only one who can open the doors, so with all of you trapped, your people will be forced to surrender for your safety." MAGIS explained.
"H-How did you manage to do all of that? It's barely been a day since the town was taken over!" Nemisa spoke in shock, looking up at the bars over the doors and windows.
"I prioritize efficiency over all else to get results. I even mandate all guards in the palace to wear adult diapers since taking breaks to use sanitation facilities is a waste of time." MAGIS explained.
"I... didn't need to hear that." Nemisa said with a slight twitch in her eyes, "In any case, if you're the one controlling the doorways, then all I have to do is defeat you and the doors will open, right?"
"Yes, that is correct." MAGIS nodded, "However, the problem with doing that is defeating me is approximately ninety eight point two percent impossible. You will simply lose, or die trying."
"We'll see about that, prepare yourself for battle!" Nemisa shouted out at her.
"As you wish. Now analyzing target." the maid said, "Beeeoooweeep, beeeoooweeep." she said still in her monotone voice as the antennae on her head shifted.
"Now what?" Nemisa asked tilting her head.
MAGIS spoke out, "Target identified as Lady Nemisa of the false king Link's bridal harem, also known by her alter ego as Madame Scarlet. Age is twenty one, height is five foot nine, bust size is thirty two inches, waist size is twenty five inches, hip size is-"
"Why the hell are you saying that for?!" Nemisa shouted with a bright red face, covering her chest and waist as best as she could.
"Target is in alignment with the false king Link, threat level Omega Red." MAGIS spoke, going into a martial arts combat pose, "Commencing neutralization protocol."
"So you're a close combat fighter as well? Sounds like fun." Nemisa smirked, she cracked her knuckles in anticipation, and the two charged into battle against each other.
Nemisa started things off with a forward punch, but MAGIS evaded it in a split second, before swinging her fist out at Nemisa. The dancer barely managed to avoid it by leaning right, then tried a leg attack. MAGIS grabbed onto her leg before it could connect and threw her to the side. Nemisa flipped onto her feet and charged forward with a low punch, but MAGIS caught it in her open palm.
'Huh... she's pretty quick, and strong.' Nemisa thought.
MAGIS then tried to twist her arm, but Nemisa quickly flipped into the air to straighten herself out, before bashing into MAGIS with a forward knee thrust in the stomach, sending her back a bit. Despite the strong blow, the maid stood right back up without even looking the slightest bit in pain.
"Damage input minimal, preparing to increase damage output to target. Bweeeooop." MAGIS spoke.
"Just what is with this woman?" Nemisa pondered.
Nemisa ran back into battle and started kicking at MAGIS. The maid started shifting her body left and right to avoid each kick. MAGIS threw out a punch but Nemisa blocked it with her Four Bracelet band. The maid tried a low kick but Nemisa easily blocked that with her leg bands.
"Those are Sister 'Big G' Jousak's bracelets." commented MAGIS, "So she has fallen in battle, Mother Eclipsis will be most displeased."
"Something tells me this Eclipsis woman has been displeased for a long time." Nemisa said, she evaded a punch and grabbed at MAGIS to throw her, but found her body unusually heavy for such a slim looking Gerudo girl, "What...?"
MAGIS kicked Nemisa away and lunged forward for another attack, but Nemisa did a quick twirling dodge before going for a kick to the head. MAGIS was shaken from the attack and stepped away, she observed Nemisa as her antennae shifted again.
"Target is proving to be stronger than predicated, increasing combat maneuvers." MAGIS spoke as she spread her arms and legs out.
Nemisa looked in shock as she saw MAGIS's wrists and ankles actually seem to open up. Her limbs twisted and shifted until the fore arms took on a more stone-like form, with long cylinder wrists and large drills in place of her hands, and her shins were coated in a similar stone-like material, along with large feet in place of her normal ones. Even the maid's head seemed to open on the sides and form some kind of hard material band around it.
"Just what in the hell are you?" Nemisa exclaimed, "Are you sure you're really a Gerudo?"
"That is correct. Allow me to reintroduce myself, my code name is M.A.G.I.S.-01; 'Meokuro-engineered Automated Gerudo Intelligence Servant model number one'."
"You're like those Beamos Walkers we fought back at that mad woman's laboratory..." Nemisa spoke.
"Affirmative, the great and awesome Meokuro took my original fleshy body and re-engineered it into a combat-ready automation. It is within the elite abilities of the legendary Meokuro and her plus-one mind of technological awesome-sauce." MAGIS said, as the drills on her arms spun.
"Do... you know how ridiculous you sound when describing that woman?" Nemisa asked, baffled at just what 'awesome-sauce' meant.
"Of course. When making the modifications to my mind, the great Meokuro programmed me to lasciviously praise her." MAGIS said in her monotone voice, "She is smart, sexy and gets the hot lovin' from all the hunks. Whoo."
'I can't believe it, the rebels actually turned one of our sisters into this?' Nemisa muttered, 'Didn't Link mention something before about Sarami's mentor being made to create artificial limbs like those...?'
"Just... who were you before you became this?" Nemisa spoke up.
"...information unknown, please insert disk and try again." MAGIS said, she shook her head, "I... apologize, my memory has been depleted of that information."
"You can't remember who you are...?" Nemisa muttered, recalling Link also mentioning the limbs have some strange affect on the person's memories, "That's terrible."
"A small price to pay for what Mother Eclipsis and the awesome and beautiful Meokuro have done for me." MAGIS said, "I owe a debt to the Sisterhood, so now I fight on their behalf by all means necessary."
"A small price to pay? I don't know what they did for you, but being fine with losing your memories and emotions, that's a horrible way to think!" Nemisa said.
"...they are insufficient." MAGIS said, "In war, feelings and emotion are merely a burden that gets in the way of your mission. Things like empathy and fear have no place in battle. Is that not rational?"
"...no, in a way I understand, I used to think like that." Nemisa shook her head, "There was a time back when I tried to close off my own emotions to the world..."
She thought about her enslavement to Monsieur Adulph and the death of her friend Erien, as she reached up and clutched at the green jewel embroidered on her top,
"I devoted myself entirely to battle, so that I would never lose to another man... but then Link came into my life, and taught me so much. He helped me break out of my shell and become the woman I truly wanted to be."
Nemisa then stamped her foot to the ground and snapped her fingers over her head, "As a future queen of the Gerudo, I'll defeat you and reclaim this town out of my love for Link and my people!"
"...you are a strange one." MAGIS said, "But I acknowledge you have modest power, and that I must shift to advanced combat ability."
MAGIS then rose up her drill at Nemisa. The dancer was unsure of what she could even do from that far a distance, but then suddenly something flew right at her, and she instinctively dodged it. It had been MAGIS's arm, which somehow extended out and punched right into the wall behind Nemisa. She turned to see a huge dent in the wall caused by MAGIS's drilling attack, as it recoiled back into her arm.
"You... can stretch your arm like that?" Nemisa exclaimed.
"It is one of the abilities that the supreme-brained Meokuro gave me." MAGIS said, "And once she is done perfecting it, nearly the entire Sisterhood shall have attributes like this to hit many Hylian knights in the head when we go to take back King Ganondorf."
"She's going to make her people into an army of machines?" Nemisa spoke, she clenched her fists, "My sisters and I won't allow it! We're taking back the palace and saving Link's child-bearers!"
"The child-bearers?" spoke MAGIS, tilting her head, "You do not need to concern yourself with them, Mother Eclipsis gave me orders to have them all killed..."
MAGIS then lowered her gaze, and her hair fell over her eyes.
"...and I have already taken care of them."
"W-What?" Nemisa spoke in shock and horror, "N-No, you're joking right?"
"I do not tell jokes, I don't even know why the cucco crossed the road." MAGIS spoke, "But the only person you need to be concerned with right now, is yourself."
Nemisa's fists shook, as she thought about Ragome, Leivuri, Esolu, the other girls, as well as Link's first Gerudo children Tulisi, Safael and Irala... she vowed to protect them, but had this woman already gotten to them before they could even try...?
Nemisa narrowed her eyes coldly and shouted out, charging forward at MAGIS, who rose up her arms and started firing her drills off at the dancer. Nemisa evaded the drills as they thrust out at her, but got scratched a few times by them. She leaped up and threw out a punch, but MAGIS shot her leg up into the air with a long reach that managed to kick Nemisa out of the air and to the ground.
"Close combat was ineffective, now that I'm using my drill fists as well as my ranged combat limbs, your ability to fight me has been lowered by approximately eighty one percent." MAGIS spoke, "If you surrender and allow me to restrain you then you shall be spared, until the yet-to-be-determined date of public execution."
"So either way I'll be killed, huh?" Nemisa pointed out.
"...ah, perhaps it would had been more effective if I had not mentioned that last part, my bad." MAGIS spoke, "No matter, killing you now is more efficient." she brought up her limbs and started thrusting them at Nemisa.
The dancer was forced to be put on the defensive, dodging and jumping to evade the long range drill thrusts and kicks that came at her. Try as she might to fight back, MAGIS wouldn't even let her get close to do so.
"There's got to be another way I can battle her..." Nemisa muttered, she blocked one drill with her bracelet, and stared at the red jewel engraved on it, "Wait a minute... I wonder if I could..."
MAGIS fired another drill punch right at Nemisa, but she backflipped away from the attack. She ran and quickly ducked and rolled behind the dining table to stay out of sight from the maid.
"Hiding is inefficient." MAGIS spoke as she walked towards the table, "I shall eventually drill punch you until you die from it."
She then saw Nemisa stand up from behind the table and stood her ground, "Try me."
"Very well, you shall be tried." MAGIS said bringing back her drill fist to punch Nemisa, but then something shot up and punched her in the back. Confused about just what it was, MAGIS quickly turned around with a kick, but suddenly saw what looked like Nemisa leap over it and kick her across the head.
"What...?" MAGIS spoke. She saw Nemisa swing a punch and dodged it, only to be struck across the back again. She spun around and punched at Nemisa who blocked the attack, only for MAGIS to be kicked in the side and sent flying back a bit.
"Error, target's location has changed, scanning area..." MAGIS muttered, attempting to see where Nemisa was now.
When she locked on sights of the dancer, she was surprised to see her in two locations. It turned out before MAGIS stood two Nemisas, one wearing the red garments she recognized, but the other wore green for some reason.
"With this, I think I've evened your odds just a bit." Nemisa nodded, bringing up the bracelet on her arm that had the green jewel shining.
"You've learned how to use the power of the Four Bracelet to split yourself into two..." MAGIS observed.
"Yes, now let's see you deal with two of us!" Nemisa said bringing up her fist.
"Aww, do I have to keep fighting?" the green Nemisa spoke up, "It's so lame!"
"Huh?" Nemisa spoke in confusion, "What are you talking about?"
" I don't wanna fight, all I wanna do is dance!" giggled the green Nemisa, twirling and spinning around gracefully, "That and give my hubby Link lots of smooches all over his chest!"
"What the heck...?! I thought the Four Bracelet would just make a copy of me." Nemisa said baffled, while she did love dancing and could get turned on by Link's chest, she never acted like this before, "Who is this girl?"
"It would appear your inexperience with the bracelet has produced an imperfect copy." MAGIS spoke, "Then I shall simply destroy both of you."
MAGIS fired off her drill fists and legs at the two Nemisas. The original Nemisa was able to evade each attack that came at her, while the green Nemisa was too busy twirling and dancing to notice. At least until she got punched in the side by one of MAGIS' drill attacks.
"Ow!" squeaked out green Nemisa, while red Nemisa cringed as well from her copy getting punched.
'This is bad, I feel any of the pain my copy feels.' Nemisa thought to herself, she looked down at the bracelet, 'And she won't do me any good if I can't control what she does. How can I-'
"You meanie!" the green Nemisa shouted, stamping her foot. She ran at MAGIS, jumping around a kick attack, before running along the maid's extended leg and kicking her in the face, "I won't forgive you for interrupting my dance!"
'Well, she may have a different personality than me, but she can fight!' Nemisa thought, calling out to the green Nemisa, "Listen, if you help me out then we'll reunite with Link and pull off a splendid dance for him!"
"Oooooh! Sounds neat!" giggled green Nemisa, "Count me in! Let's stop this jerk!"
The two Nemisas went into combat, dodging and ducking each of MAGIS' drill punches, and delivered attacks of their own to her. Taking on two nearly identical opponents was throwing off MAGIS' battle ability.
"Error. Targets yet to be neutralized, switching to the Super Duper Maxi-Extreme Ultra Battle Mode." MAGIS' spoke.
"What's she talking about?" green Nemisa asked tilting her head.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Nemisa spoke.
It was then the center of the stone-like band around MAGIS' head opened up, revealing a single red eye that looked somewhat familiar to Nemisa. The two girls stared at it as it seemed to be glowing brightly, and a faint light was pointing at green Nemisa. They could hear a beeping sound, and Nemisa's eyes widened.
"Other me, get down!" Nemisa shouted.
"Target locked on. Fire" MAGIS said, shooting off a powerful red laser that shot through the air. Nemisa managed to push her green self to the ground just in time as the laser blasted into the side of a wall.
"You got to be kidding me, she can shoot Beamos lasers too?!" Nemisa shouted out.
"Continuing laser beams of death." MAGIS spoke, shooting off more beams from her chest, "Fire. Fire. Fire."
The two Nemisas quickly got up and evaded each shot that came at them. As they tried to get close, MAGIS fended them off with her long range kicks and spinning drill punches. One laser beam shot right past Nemisa, coming dangerously close to blasting her. Green Nemisa ducked a beam but was hit by MAGIS' kick attack, sending her to the ground. Nemisa felt the pain of the kick, but ran over to her.
"What do we do?" green Nemisa asked panicking, "Her attacks are too much for us!"
Nemisa paused, thinking to herself, 'Good question, creating more copies using the blue and purple bracelets could help distract MAGIS, but I don't know if I could control them all... and that would also create more risk for injuries...'
'I'm sorry, I wish you didn't have to feel the same pain I do!' Nemisa heard another thought in her mind, surprising her, and she realized it was coming from the green Nemisa.
'Wait, you can hear that?' Nemisa thought.
'Yeah, I think with the power of the Four Bracelet, as long as we're close enough together we can hear each other's thoughts!' the green Nemisa thought.
'Hmm... I wonder what else we could do in close contact...?' Nemisa thought to herself.
"I apologize for interrupting the two of you, but I must destroy you both now." MAGIS spoke, charging up another laser beam, the laser sight aiming right at the green Nemisa who she perceived as the weaker of the two, "Sights locked on Greenie target."
"Alright, let's show her." Nemisa said, as her green self nodded, and the two charged into battle against MAGIS.
The maid tried to back them off with her drill punches and kicks, but the two dancers evaded each attack with stylish dance steps and twirls. MAGIS did what she could to keep them distant while she charged her laser.
"This battle plan is inefficient, I already have locked on Greenie, she will suffer critical damage, and by the properties of the Four Bracelet, so will the original you. This tactic is the most effective way of destroying you both." MAGIS stated
"Yeah that's right, lock on me!" grinned green Nemisa, as she then reached out and touched Nemisa's green jeweled bracelet, which gave off a flash of light.
MAGIS then fired off the Beamos laser right at green Nemisa, and caused a huge, destructive explosion.
"Target annihilated, threat is neutrali-" MAGIS spoke, but then saw Nemisa lunge out and punch her in the face, "What...? It does not compute, how are you not blown up like Greenie was?"
"Because she's still with me." smirked Nemisa, as she used the Four Bracelet to make green Nemisa reappear.
"Yeah, as long as we're close enough, she can just call me back into her body!" grinned green Nemisa, taking the element of surprise and running forward, delivering an attack on MAGIS to send her backwards, "We are the same person after all!"
"Error, targets using unpredictable attacks..." MAGIS said, getting up but starting to twitch a bit from her injuries, "Attempting to analyze movements..."
The two Nemisa joined hands and rushed forward, flipping into the air to avoid a double punch by MAGIS, they came downward and pulled off a double flying kick into her chest.
"ERROR ERROR." MAGIS spoke, shooting out more of her punches and kicks, but the two Nemisas simply danced and twirled around her movements. MAGIS attempted to fire another laser at the original Nemisa, but the green one countered it with a kick to her head. MAGIS then tried to aim and hit the green one with another laser, but Nemisa recalled her back into the bracelet. The laser missed completely and made MAGIS open to another punch.
"This... error... this is error... I am..." MAGIS said twitching and shaking from her injuries.
She turned to focus her laser on Nemisa again, only to then get punched in the chest by both Nemisa and her green copy. The two continued pummeling her with punches and kicks from close range. MAGIS couldn't even retaliate with her own attacks at this rate, and her laser was starting to overheat from excessive firing.
"We'll show you what power one's emotions can truly bring out!" Nemisa shouted, as both she and her green copy did roundhouse kicks to bash MAGIS left and right. They punched at her with relentless force, yet remaining in perfect sync with each other. The two Nemisas then performed a powerful uppercut, sending MAGIS flying into the air.
"Error... ERROR.. I AM ERROR."
MAGIS' eyes turned a blank white as she crashed to the ground, leaving a sizable dent in the floor. The two Nemisas saw she seemed to be knocked out cold, and they let out sighs of relief.
"Finally, it's over." Nemisa gasped out, but then snatched up and hugged tightly by the green Nemisa.
"Yaaaaay! We won! You were so great Nemisa!" the green one squealed out.
"Yes, you too... Nemisa." she smiled softly, hugging her other self back.
"Just think, once you master this bracelet's power, there will be four of us! Then we can captivate Link and everyone with a real dance together!" green Nemisa said enthusiastically.
"Haha, sounds good." Nemisa nodded, "I'll be relying on you for support from now on then."
Nemisa recalled her green self back into her body, just as the bars of the doors and windows in the palace opened up. She was a little strained from her injuries she and her green self received, but she didn't mind as they were finally victorious in defeating the rebellion. She went over to MAGIS and stared down at her unconscious body, seeing her limbs were reverted back to normal again, wondering just what exactly to do with her...
"Hey Nemisa, there ya are!" called out a voice as she turned to see Togau, Aviel, Saria, Sarami, Kesuta, Korume and the other guards running in to meet her. Aviel was quick to run forward and hug her bodyguard partner, "We were taking out guards but got locked up in some rooms all of a sudden!"
"We beat the rebels who attacked us, and then the bars just opened a moment ago." Saria said, she noted MAGIS laying on the ground, "Wait, is this the Elite Rebel who was running things?"
"Yes, she's the one responsible for the locked doors." Nemisa nodded hugging Aviel back, "But I handled things just fine."
"Oh my!" gasped Sarami in a combination of astonishment and horror, she lifted up one of the limbs carefully, "This body she has... was this the work of that dreadful engineer Meokuro?!"
"That seems to be the case." Nemisa nodded, as she explained what had happened.
"So Granny was right, this is the result of what those artificial limbs could cause..." Sarami whispered sadly, "Losing your memories... and your sense of self..."
Korume meanwhile reached out her arm and froze MAGIS up in red ice to restrain her, "We'll worry about her later, we've already taken back the town now, and the rebels here have all surrendered or been captured."
"Then that means we won! Alright!" Aviel cheered out.
Nemisa's eyes then widened at the realization of something, "Wait... Kesuta, Korume, did you see Link's child-bearers back at the prison?"
"We saw a few pregnant women, but not them, why...?" Kesuta asked with some concern.
Nemisa gulped and ran off, hurrying as fast as she could towards the child-bearer's quarters before the others could inquire any further.
Nemisa was tired from the battles, and slipped a few times in her haste, but she didn't care and went as fast as she could. She eventually reached the door and burst it open, preparing herself for what was inside...
"Where are the-?!" Nemisa spoke out, but was surprised at what she saw.
"Oh, it's Lady Nemisa!" spoke up a voice, as Nemisa saw the child-bearers were there, including Ragome, Leivuri, and their children. They were all just fine... aside from maybe Ragome who was wrapped in bandages for some reason.
"What...?!" Nemisa spoke, she had expected the worst for them from what MAGIS told her earlier.
Aviel flew past Nemisa in the hall and crashed into a flower display, before sticking her own head into the door frame with a flower in soil now on her head.
"Hey, everyone's okay!" Aviel squealed out, running in and checking on Leivuri and Tilisi. Soon enough Togau, Kesuta and Korume all caught up to the two of them to greet the child-bearers as well.
"Oh thank the goddess Aifet they're safe!" Sarami sighed out, she gave Nemisa a sweet kiss on the cheek, causing the dancer to blush red, "You saved them Nemisa, you're a true hero!"
"H-Hey, don't do things like that!" Nemisa stammered in embarrassment.
Sarami giggled as she went off to go see Ragome, and examined the bandages she had on, "Oh you poor thing, where did you get these injuries?"
"Fightin' off the rebels when they first came here." Ragome said, "But nothin' ta worry about, I used to be a warrior after all, shi-shii-shii!" she added with a chuckle, 'Just glad everyone's safe!"
"So who did these bandages then?" Sarami asked in confusion.
"Um... it was the rebels actually." Ragome said, rubbing the back of her head, "That weird lady in the black dress with the sticks on her head asked them to do it for me."
"Wait, you mean MAGIS?" Nemisa spoke in surprise.
"Dr. Sarami!' called out some nurses, running into the room, "We just checked in on Esolu like you asked!"
"Is she okay?" Sarami asked.
"She's still in a coma, and she still hasn't given birth, but otherwise she's okay and unharmed." the nurses assured her, "And the child is still in stable condition."
"It's so strange, Mother Eclipsis even gave her an order to kill us all, including our children." Leivuri spoke.
Nemisa was surprised by this news, and found herself in deep thought about the strange woman she battled, and the words she told her...
"You do not need to concern yourself with them, Mother Eclipsis gave me orders to have them all killed... ...and I have already taken care of them."
"But why would she...?" Nemisa whispered.
"Nemisa, you alright?" Aviel asked.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." Nemisa nodded with a slight smile, "We've succeeded in our goal and taken back Gerudo Town. All we can hope is that Link and Reirousa save Lady Nabooru and bring her back home."
Nemisa took a look out the window at the night sky, thinking about her husband-to-be,
"Please, be safe Link..."
And that ends this week's chapter. Next time, we shift the perspective over to Link and Reirousa, who are on their way to Gerudo Fortress to save Nabooru from Mother Eclipsis. How will they take back the beloved Gerudo leader? Find out next week!
