A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 Chapter 3

This isn't a dream.

Realizing this Bailey immediately rushes over to Harry, pawing and licking at his face to awaken him.

Groaning, gently pushing her face away as he rolls over, Harry said "Bailey, leave me alone. Go back to sleep."

Bailey persists in her administration, not stopping until he opens his eyes.

"Bailey, what's gotten-," said Harry, slipping on his glasses, cutting off and freezing his posture, staring with wide eyes at Ron's face in the window, registering everything he saw as she previously did. He then silently creeps over to the window and pushes it up so they could talk through the bars. "Ron, how did you…? What the…?"

Grinning toothily at him, George asked "All right, Harry?"

"What's been going on," said Ron, indignantly. "Why haven't you been answering my letters? I've asked you to stay about 12 times."

"I never got your letters. Someone was intercepting them," whispered Harry, motioning for them to keep their voices down lest they wake up the Dursleys. He's gawking at the floating car in awed astonishment. "How are you doing this? I thought we weren't allowed to do magic outside of school."

"Oh, this doesn't count," explained Ron. "We're only borrowing this. It's Dad's, we didn't enchant it. But doing magic in front of Muggles like the ones you live with is a huge violation."

"I'm so glad to see you anyhow. Can you tell them at Hogwarts that the Dursleys have locked me up and won't let me come back and obviously I can't magic myself out," requested Harry.

Shaking his head, Ron said "Stop gibbering. "We've come to take you home with us."

"But you can't magic me out either," said Harry, confused.

Jerking his head toward the front seat, eyes twinkling madly, Ron said "We don't need to. You forget who I've got with me."

They most certainly did.

A rope is tied around the bars at Fred's behest, telling Harry and Bailey to stand back. Harry and Bailey move back into the shadows next to Hedwig, who like them was keeping as quiet as possible so as not to ruin this rescue. It's a miracle no one woke up when the bars were torn from their hinges.

With the bars no longer a hindrance Fred reverses as close as possible to Harry's window.

Fred and George climb through the window into the bedroom. Using an ordinary hairpin, they pick the lock on the door and it opens with a small click.

While Harry is grabbing whatever he knows he'll need from the bedroom Bailey leads the twins down the hallway to the stairs. She goes first, jumping over the last step so they know to avoid it because of the resounding squeaking noise it emits. Same as before they unlock the door, retrieving Harry's trunk. Holding it between them they carry it up the stairs, Harry assisting them the rest of the way after he was done.

Harry heard Uncle Vernon cough and shift in bed but luckily didn't wake up and investigate.

They carry the trunk through Harry's room to the open window. Fred climbs back into the car to pull with Ron, Harry, and George pushing from the bedroom side. Bailey is sitting beside Hedwig's cage watching the whole thing.

"Okay, let's go," whispered George.

Just as Harry is about to get into the car, expecting Bailey to follow behind him Bailey woofs softly to get his attention and who she is next to.

Slapping a hand to his forehead at the blunder, Harry said "I've almost forgotten Hedwig!"

Harry snatched up Hedwig's cage, dashed to the window, and passes it to Ron. Then Harry hefts Bailey into his arms so she can get into the side door easier without complications.

Feeling mischievous and leaving one final blow to the Dursleys, Harry writes a note saying he'll see them next summer. Feeling gleeful and triumphant that this happened all under their nose Harry rides for freedom in the car with his friends.

"By the way, Harry. Happy birthday," said Ron, smiling.

And what a marvelous gift this is.

How do u like the small changes I've been making so far?

Heads up everyone there's someone on fanfiction you need to seriously watch out for. Early last morning after I woke up I was checking my email and I saw I had a new guest review on my A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 sequel. I took a look at it and got a very big shock. Some random person I've never spoken to before on here or anywhere else in my life was basically threatening me. Intimidating and practically ordering me to write a threatening letter to someone on their behalf, telling to stay off of for life or else they and everyone else close to them would be killed, disgustingly telling them to kill themselves. And at the bottom of the message this crazy person wasn't done. Warning me that if I don't send the letter then they would kill me and for confirmation to email them to make absolutely sure I complied with their demands. Of course I did nothing of the sort. Instead of doing what they wanted I reported them to the website, sent copies of this deplorable guest review message to police officer cousins of mine so they could have it on file, and I went to a nearby police station and reported it.

When I spoke to the police officers and they checked everything on the message they saw, that while the address and names of business were accurate the people and their names were not. They agree it was more than likely a scam because of the email address on the bottom in order to perhaps get access to personal information or potentially hack my computer. Despite that I'm still very happy they took it seriously as I showed and told them everything. All the same I'm still very happy that I brought this to the attention of law enforcement. Even though the entire thing might be fake I'm still very happy to have brought this to the attention of those who can do something about it if it was legit in someway. This may have been a scam, but it's obvious these people are beyond irresponsible if they try to goad people into sending death threats to random strangers just to get access to info.

Be that as it may if this does unfortunately happen to you do not send any messages to the email addresses they put down and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you bring the message to the authorities immediately whether it is legit or not.

Because it's a guest review it might not be visible for a couple of days as it loads. But when it does I'm definitely pressing the report abuse button.

I swear it's like they're getting worse and worse all the time and it's like officials are simply just ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist entirely just to go on with their daily lives. Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.

So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
